        에이엘 스캔, 자동각막굴절계, 펜타캠의 각막 굴절력 비교 분석

        <b>Purpose:</b> To investigate clinical availability of AL-ScanTM (Nidek, Gamagori, Japan) by comparing corneal refractive power with AL-ScanTM, AutokeratometerTM (Topcon KR-1, Tokyo, Japan) and PentacamTM (Oculus, Wetzlar, Germany) devices. <b>Methods</b>: Seventy-one patients (142 eyes) who visited our hospital for refractive surgery were tested using AL-Scan<sup>Ⓡ, Autokeratometer and Pentacam<sup>Ⓡ and corneal refractive power was compared among devices. <b>Results:</b> When comparing measurements with AL-Scan<sup>Ⓡ, Autokeratometer and Pentacam<sup>Ⓡ, the mean corneal refractive power was 43.37 ± 1.32 D (2.4 mm zone), 43.35 ± 1.32 D (3.3 mm zone), 43.36 ± 1.35 D, and 43.35 ± 1.36 D respectively and showed no significant differences. Corneal refractive power had strongly positive linear correlation (<em>p </em>< 0.001) and Bland-Altman plots showed high degree of agreement among AL-Scan<sup>Ⓡ, Autokeratometer and Pentacam<sup>Ⓡ devices. <b>Conclusions:</b> Because measuring ocular biometry with AL-Scan<sup>Ⓡ including axial length, intraocular lens power calculation and topography simultaneously is possible, clinical use is convenient. Corneal refractive power was not different when compared with autokeratometer and Pentacam<sup>Ⓡ, thus, AL-Scan<sup>Ⓡ can be used in the clinical environment.         강화유리 표면의 친수성 특성 조사에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 플라즈마 장치의 광 특성과 접촉각 특성을 조사하여 스마트폰에 사용되는 강화유리 표면의 친수성 특성을 알아 보였다. 본 연구에서 공정 가스의 분압과 입력 전압의 정도에 대한 강화유리 표면의 친수화 정도를 조사하였다. 각 변수에 따라 아르곤 가스의 이온화 정도에 따라 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구에서, 강화유리 표면은 처리되기 전과 비교하여 접촉각의 변화나 광방출 특성에서 나타난 것들을 토대로 친수화가 되었음을 알 수 있었다. In this study, we assessed the hydrophilic characteristics of the surface of toughened glass used in smartphones by investigating the optical properties and contact angle characteristics of the plasma device. In this study, the characteristics were different depending on the partial pressure of the gas, input voltage, and degree of ionization of argon gas. In this study, the surface of the toughened glass became more hydrophilic, as indicated by contact angle and light spectrum, after plasma treatment than before the treatment.

        시거리에 따른 고층집합주택 외벽 색채 특성에 관한 연구

        This study assumes that though buildings have identical color of the outer walls, their colors and images make the difference according to neighboring environmental factors and visual range. Based on the assumption, it carries a quantitative analysis of physical and image difference, targeting colors of the outer walls of high-rise apartment buildings within apartment complex. As a result, it is identified that the outer colors of the buildings on the streetside of high-rise residential complexes are significantly different according to neighboring environmental factors and viewers' visual range. And, it is suggested that in planning colors of outer wall, colors should be arranged in consideration of color difference according to visual range.

        실린더형 압전소자 광지연선을 이용한 광 간섭형 단층촬영(OCT) 시스템 제작

        원통형의 압접소자를 이용한 광지연선을 사용하여 광 간섭형 단층촬영 시스템을 제작하였다. 광지연선은 18 m 길이의 단일 모드 광섬유를 압전소자의 둘레에 134회 감아 구성하였으며 0.78 mm의 광경로 길이변화를 얻었다. 제작한 광 간섭형 단층촬영 시스템은 신호 대 잡음비 96.9 dB, 종방향 분해능 $18.6{\pm}0.5\;{\mu}m$, 횡방향 분해능 $5\;{\mu}m$의 특성을 보였다. We demonstrate a compact optical coherence tomography(OCT) system based on the optical fiber delay line controlled by a cylindrical piezo-electric transducer(PZT). An 18-m length of single mode fiber is wrapped under constant tension around a PZT. Approximately 134 windings are used. Wraps of the long length of fiber allow the small expansion of the PZT to be magnified to an optical path length delay of 0.78 m. The OCT system shows characteristics for 2-dimensional imaging, exhibiting 96.9dB of signal-to-noise ratio(SNR), $18.6{\pm}0.5\;{\mu}m$ of axial resolution, and $5\;{\mu}m$ of lateral resolution with samples.

        망막정맥폐쇄에서 혈압의 일중 변동 양상 분석

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the diurnal blood pressure variation with retinal vein occlusion (RVO) using 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (24-hour ABPM). Methods: The subjects in this study visited the department of ophthalmology from May 2012 to December 2012 and were diagnosed with RVO but had no history of hypertension (HTN). Non-dipper was defined as a nocturnal systolic blood pressure (SBP) decrease less than 10%. These values were used to compare the 24-hour ABPM values of the RVO and the control groups. Results: The 24-hour ABPM values, with the exception of the mean nightly SBP, were statistically different whne the RVO group was compared with the control group. The odds of an RVO patient being a non-dipper compared to dipper were 1.81 times greater than in the control. Additionally, the clinical SBP and DBP in the RVO group were not significantly different when the HTN group and the non-HTN group were compared. In contrast, the mean 24-hour SBP and the mean DBP were significantly different in regard to HTN. Conclusions: Patients with RVO have a tendency to maintain high BP throughout the day and also during the night. A patient with non-dipper status can be at risk for RVO, even if the patient does not have HTN. Therefore, 24-hour ABPM is an effective management approach for HTN in addition to strict BP control in patients with RVO.

        This study is to examine architectural designers' views on the correlations between components and contextual principle of the roadside building facade with the roadside building facade on the border of Asian Culture Center in Gwangju which is expected to undergo a great change by public policies. For setting direction of the roadside building management at the region examined, height of facade, advertisement/signboard, security of continuity through surface pattern management, nodes building, array of height by story, awning/arcade and locality of advertisement/signboard should be induced to design with locality and consideration of local characteristics with silhouette, window and external colors is needed for discrimination from other cities. Regarding the realization method important thing was found that the planning and implementation of architectural design guidelines, architectural aesthetics of the pre-hearing enhancement, active citizen participation, and then additional landscape screening system, incentive schemes, landscape designation of landscape zone was found to be a major realization system.

        전방 경추 미세 추간공 확대술 : 경추증에 대한 최소침습적 전측방 접근법

        Objective : Various surgical approaches have been implemented to fulfill the ideal goals of treatment for cervical spondylotic lesions. Conventional approaches are represented by anterior approach with or without fusion and posterior approach. The authors has applied newly developed anterior cervical microforaminotomy for these lesions on minimally invasive basis. Materials and Method : Twenty-one patients, with cervical HIVD, or stenosis, or both, underwent anterior cervical microforaminotomy between March, 1998 and April, 1999. Fifteen patients underwent unilateral decompression, and 6 bilateral decompression via unilateral foraminotomy. Operation of one level was performed in 16 patients, 2 levels in 4 patients, and 3 in 1 patient. The foraminotomy was accomplished by resecting the uncovertebral joint. Through this hole, compressed nerve root was decompressed by removing the spondylotic spur or disc fragment, and diagonal removing of posterior osteophyte from foraminotomy site to begining of contralateral nerve root made spinal cord decompression. Results : The outcome was excellent in 17 patients(81%) and good in 4 patients(19%) based on Odom's criteria. No complication was encounterd, and average post-operation hospital stay was 3.7 days. Conclusions : These results indicate that anterior cervical microforaminotomy provide adequate neural decompression, minimum postoperative discomfort and fast recovery.

        조대술을 이용한 함치성 낭종의 치료

        함치성 낭종이란 퇴축법랑상피와 법랑질 표면 사이에 체액이 축적되어 치관이 내강의 안쪽에 있으며 치근은 바깥쪽에 위치하는 매복치 치관을 둘러싸는 치원성 낭을 의미한다. 함치성 낭종의 치료법으로는 적출술, 조대술, 감압술 및 외과적 절제술이 있다. 본 증례는 하악 제2유구치의 만기잔존을 주소로 내원한 환아들을 검사하였다. 두 환아에서 해당 제2유구치의 협측부에서 팽융을 관찰하였다. 두 환아, 모두 방사선사진상 하악 제2소구치의 치관을 포함한 단방성의 방사선투과상이 보였으며 조직검사 결과 함치성 낭종으로 진단되었다. 본 증례에서 발치와를 통한 조대술을 시술하였다. 제2유구치를 발거하고 바세린 거즈로 발치와를 보호한 후 익일에 보격장치를 겸한 obturator를 장착해 주었다. 시술 후 매복된 영구치는 정상 맹출속도보다 빠르게 맹출하는 양상을 보이고 있다. Dentigerous cyst is a cyst arising by tissue fluid accumulation between the enamel and the residual enamel epithelium. It includes the crown of the impacted tooth and excludes the root. The treatments of the dentigerous cyst are enucleation, marsupialization, decompression, surgical excision and etc. In these cases children were evaluated for the chief complaints of the remained mandibular primary second molar. Each cases showed swelling on the buccal side of the primary secondary premolar. In the radiologic evaluation a radiolucent lesion including the crown of the mandibular secondary premolar was found, and it was diagnosed as dentigerous cyst. And the histopathologic examination showed the same result. Marsupialization was operated through alveolar socket and the alveolar socket was protected with vaseline gauze, the obturator combined with space maintainer was followed by the operation. After the operation, the impacted permanent tooth was showing faster eruption speed than the other normal teeth.

        외상성 뇌실질내 혈종에 대한 상측방 키홀을 통한 내시경적 혈종 제거

        Objective : As a minimally invasive strategy, endoscopic technique was introduced for removal of the traumatic intracerebral hematoma. Material and Method : A 54-year-old man with three-day history of seizure and progressive mental deterioration after traffic accident was presented. Computerized Tomography(CT) of the brain showed a huge intracerebral hematoma on the right frontal lobe and ventricle. The operation was performed via right frontal superolateral keyhole with 2cm eyebrow skin incision. Using 0-degree and 30-degree angled lens 4mm rigid endoscopes, nearly all of the hematoma was evacuated under the direct endoscopic visualization and a ventricular catheter was exactly placed into the frontal horn of the right lateral ventricle at the end of procedure. Results : The seizure was discontinued and neurological status had been improved during postoperative periods. Postoperative CT demonstrated that most of the hematoma was removed and the ventricular drainge tube was exactly placed in the right foramen of Monro. Conclusion : With endoscopic technique, the authors successfully evacuated traumatic intracerebral hematoma and exactly placed the ventricular drainage catheter under direct visualization. This technique may be considered as an another option for removal of traumatic intracerebral hematoma.

        Pectolinarin 고함유 곤드레 미세분말의 항산화 및 항비만 활성

        The aim of this study was to evaluate the basic data of Cirsium setidens Nakai fine powder (FPC), which will then be used in the development of functional fooditems. We measures and evaluated the level of pectolinarin content, phenol content, flavonoids content, antioxidants and anti-obesity properties of FPC. Our results from the study showed that the pectolinarin, phenol, and flavonoids contents of FPC measured at 10.95±0.1 5mg/g, 12.92±0.18 mg gallic acid equivalent (GAE)/g and 26.47±0.77 mg rutin equivalent (RE)/g, respectively. The exhibited antioxidant activity of FPC increased significantly depending on the dosage, and additionally. FPC did not show any cytotoxicity up to the dosage level of 500 μg/mL. During adipocyte differentiation, FPC significantly inhibited ROS production and lipid accumulation, compared with the control substance. These results suggest that FPC could be considered a promising resource of natural antioxidants and could serve a variety of health-improving roles in the production of functional food ingredients.
