潮間帶에 棲息하는 底棲動物의 生痕構造와 그 堆積學的 特性

In order to investigate biogenic structures of burrowing benthonic animals inhabiting the intertidal flat of Nam Hae and Sa Cheon coast. We used plastic casts with resin. The results were as follows : First, biogenic structures showed various features in the surgace strures and burrows, and were closely related with their shape, structure and mode of life. Second, in the granulometric composition of the surfce in the habitat area of benthonic animals, sediments of this area is composed of sand and silt whose standard deviation was poorly sorted. Third, in the characteristic sedimentary structures, Iaminated beddinbg, bioturbation etc. were shown in the section of the sedimentary layer and ripple current, and mud carcks were shown in the surface of the sedimentary layer. When trace fossils and sedimentary characteristics in Hack Jun formation and biogenic sturcture and sedimentary environment in present intertidal flat were contrasted, Hack Jun formation which produced trace fossils indicated depositional environment of shallow marine including intertidal flat. And this area was in the environment of the relatively high eneergy and influenced by flood tidal current and wave. In investigating biogenic structure and sedimentary environment, benthonic animals having formed the trace fossils and paleoenvironment were searched and biogenic stucture could give abundant informations in the res\search of the past.
한국인 안드로젠 저항성 증후군 환자의 안드로젠 수용체 유전자 변이 양상

N/A Androgen insensitivity syndrome (AIS) is a X-linked disorder of sexual differentiation resulting from defective androgen receptor (AR) function. Androgens are secreted by the testes of 46,XY individuals, but there is loss of target organ response to the hormone. The abnormalities of AR are due to defects in the AR gene, and many mutations causing AIS have been reported since the cloning of AR gene. In this study, we analyzed the AR genes in twelve Korean patients with androgen insensitivity syndrome: 9 patients with complete AIS and 3 patients with partial AIS. DNAs were isolated from patients with AIS, and the coding region of AR gene was amplified by a polymerase chain reaction using 7 pairs of primers (exon B-H). Sequence analysis of the AR gene was performed using direct sequencing and single strand conformational polymorphism (SSCP). The AR gene mutations were identified in 7 out of 12 patients: 6 of 9 patients with complete AIS, and one of 3 patients with partial AIS. Mutations found were as follows: the point mutation (ATT→ACT) at position 680 of exon D, point mutation (TGG→TGC) at position 751 of exon E, point mutation (CAA→TAA) at position 792 of exon F, point mutations (CGC→TGC, GTG→ATG) at position 855 and 866 of exon G, and the deletion of 13 nucleotides (CGTATCATTGCAT) at position 840 of exon G, respectively. To the best of our knowledge, the point mutations found in exon D, exon E, and exon F, and the deletion in exon G have not been observed before. SSCP revealed bands with abnormal mobility in 10 out of 12 patients tested. Mutations were found 5 out of these 10 patients. The other two patients showed no abnormal band on SSCP, but showed mutations by direct sequencing. In conclusion, we have demonstrated the AR gene mutations, including three novel mutations, in Korean patients with AIS, and these abnormalities might be related to the pathogenesis of androgen insensitivity syndrome.

버뮤다 옵션의 가격을 계산하기 위한, 좀더 엄밀하게 말하면 시장가격에 가장 근사하다고 의견의 일치를 보는 방법은 아직 없다. 버뮤다옵션의 가격결정은 동적 프로그래밍 원칙을 해결하는 것과 같으며, 특히 큰 차원에 있어서 주된 어려움은 지속 가치와 관련된 조건부 기대치들의 계산에서 비롯된다. 이러한 조건부 기대치들은 유한 차원 벡터 공간상에서 전형적인 회귀 기법에 의해 계산된다. 본 연구에서는 조건부 기대치들의 신경망근사치를 연구한다. 또한 표준 최소자승회귀분석을 신경망 근사치로 대체함으로써 잘 알려진Longstaff-Schwartz 알고리듬과 합치됨을 보인다. There is no consensus on Bermuda option pricing, more precisely, the closest approximation to market prices. The pricing of Bermuda options is like solving dynamic programming principles, and the main difficulty, especially on a larger scale, comes from the calculation of conditional expectations related to continuation value. These conditional expectations are computed by a typical regression technique on finite dimensional vector spaces. In this study, we study the neural network approximation of conditional expectations. It is also shown that it replaces the standard least squares regression with a neural network approximation, which is consistent with the well-known Longstaff-Schwartz algorithm.
소프트웨어 공수 예측의 정확성에 대한 이상치 제거의 영향 분석

정확한 소프트웨어 공수 예측은 소프트웨어 관련 여러 커뮤니티들에서 예전부터 항상 이슈가 되어 왔다. 소프트웨어 공수 예측의 정확도를 향상시키기 위해 지금까지 많은 연구들에서는 데이타 품질이 공수 예측에 중요한 요소들 중 하나임에도 불구하고 이것에 대한 고려 없이 공수 예측 기법들에만 초점을 맞추어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 소프트웨어 공수 예측 기법과 이상치 제거 기법들 사이의 영향 관계를 공수예측 정확도의 관점에서 실험적으로 살펴본다. 두 개의 프로젝트 데이타들(ISBSG와 국내의 한 금융 조직으로부터 수집된 데이타)에 대해 일반적으로 많이 사용되는 세 가지 공수 예측 기법(최소제곱법, 신경망 네트워크, 그리고 베이지안 네트워크)과 두 가지 이상치 제거 기법(최소절사제곱법과 K-means 클러스터링)을 적용시켜 그 결과들을 서로 비교해 보고 이상치 제거 기법을 적용하지 않은 결과와도 비교해 본다. Accurate software effort estimation has always been a challenge for the software industrial and academic software engineering communities. Many studies have focused on effort estimation methods to improve the estimation accuracy of software effort. Although data quality is one of important factors for accurate effort estimation, most of the work has not considered it. In this paper, we investigate the influence of outlier elimination on the accuracy of software effort estimation through empirical studies applying two outlier elimination methods(Least trimmed square regression and K-means clustering) and three effort estimation methods(Least squares regression, Neural network and Bayesian network) associatively. The empirical studies are performed using two industry data sets(the ISBSG Release 9 and the Bank data set which consists of the project data collected from a bank in Korea) with or without outlier elimination.
PVA-ECC에 의해 피복 보강된 RC보의 비틀림 거동에 대한 연구

The need to consider torsion in the design of members of a structure has recently been increasing; therefore, many studies on torsion have been carried out. Recent research was focused on the torsional performance of concrete according to the reinforcing materials used. Of particular interest, are torsion studies of beams made of SFRC(steel fiber reinforced concrete), and there has been increasing use of SFRC at construction sites. In contrast, research on the composite PVA-ECC (polyvinyl alcohol-engineered cementitious composite) has only covered its mechanical performance, though it exhibits excellent tensile-strain performance (better than SFRC). Therefore, research on the torsion of concrete beams retrofitted using PVA-ECC is lacking. In this study, the behavior characteristics and performance of reinforced-concrete beams retrofitted by PVA-ECC was investigated experimentally. The experimental results show that the resistance to torsional cracking is increased by PVA-ECC. In addition, the strain on the rebar of the specimen was found to be reduced.
