Biological resources including proteins, cells, and tissues were confronted with both safe and stable preservation for practical use in biotechnological industry. Particularly, cell therapy for regenerative engineering is needed to restricted regulation and accurate preservation. Therefore, this study was investigated improved conditions of mesenchymal stem cells from human umbilical cord (hUCs) or aspirated adipose tissues (hATs) for clinical cell banks. Both cells were isolated according to standard operation procedure of Hurim BioCell Inc. and analyzed the inherent characteristics in passage 4. To compare the ability of experimental groups after cryopreservation, proliferation ability using calculated values and cytomorphological patterns of each experimental step were analyzed. Also proteins such as ice-binding protein or caspase inhibitor were applied to add the preservation medium of hUCs or hATs. Result of preservation solution with 20% serum was considered a positive group. Recovery rate and expansion results showed specific dosage and cell type-dependent differences in the experimental group. Chromosomal stability and multipotency of hUCs or hATs were expressed stable pattern after cryopreservation using advanced medium. As a result, these additives could be substituted for xenogenic sources in banking of hUCs or hATs.

Recently, human mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are attracting attention as a useful source for regenerative therapy. Controlled production of cell therapy requires the establishment and management of an accurate isolation, characterization and monitoring for quality assurance of developing MSCs mediated. In this study, we were confirmed maintenance of potency of isolated and cultured human umbilical cord (hUC)-MSCs during ex vivo expansion or after cryopreservation. Expression of their cell specific marker was analyzed by flow cytometry and the differentiation potency was confirmed by guided differentiation of adipocyte, osteocyte, chondrocyte and hepatocyte after expanding over 15 doublings in vitro. Safe production of developing a cell therapy was proved by testing for microbial, mycoplasma, endotoxin, and adventitious agents. Also stability of cells in cultivation, preservation and/or differentiation was determined chromosomal assay. In developing using hUC-MSCs, cells showed an accurate isolation and stable expansion in ex vivo condition. The results of several management assay showed that the stem cell marker expression of CD31, CD34 and CD45 were under 10%, however CD90 was over 90% by FACS analysis. Any contamination and mutation in all tests weren't detected in specific points for safe or stable production of hMC-MSCs. Also the proliferation and differentiation potency maintains during in vitro culture and after cryopreservation of hUC-MSCs. These results could be used as standard methods of maintenance of hUC-MSCs for cell therapy products and clinical application.

This study aims to determine the impact factors of consumers' food safety awareness and food marking on online purchases through PLS-SEM analysis. Using The Consumer Behavior Survey for Food 2020(KREI), the impact of food safety and food labeling on online food purchases was analyzed for consumers who purchased food online among food main buyers. Consumers who do not purchase food online did not purchase food for safety reasons, and consequently food safety and food labeling have been proven to be important factors in online food purchases. Therefore, there should be ways to reduce food harm and change awareness, and sharing information that can reduce food safety anxiety.

현재 국내에서 운용되는 해상용 항로표지는 기존 제품 보다 활용성이 크게 향상되었고, LED전구를 적용하여 운용기간도 연장되었으나, 고장시 대처방법이 없으며, 유지보수에 추가적인 비용이 발생하고 있다. 이와 관련하여 본 논문에서는 항로표지에 주광원과 예비광원을 동시에 형성하여 주광원 고장시 예비광원으로 운용이 가능한 LED 해상용 항로표지에 적용되는 제어회로를 개발하고 구현 하였다.

Pseudomonas stutzeri is a Gram-negative, rod-shaped, motile, single polar-?agellated, soil bacterium that was ?rst isolated from human spinal ?uid and is widely distributed in the environment. It was isolated as an uncommon opportunistic pathogen from humans, and a few cases of P. stutzeri-induced peritonitis have been reported in patients undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). Catheter removal with antibiotic treatment is generally recommended because peritonitis by Pseudomonas species is commonly associated with catheter-related infection. Here, we describe the ?rst case of P. stutzeri-induced peritonitis in an 82-year-old woman in Korea. She had received two antipseudomonal antibiotics, an aminoglycoside (isepamicin, Yuhan corporation, Seoul, Korea) and a ?uoroquinolone (cipro?oxacin), and was successfully treated without removal of the CAPD catheter.

최근 모든 연령대의 사람들은 미용적인 이유로 더 밝은 피부를 원하고 있으며, 천연 제품은 화학적으로 합성된 화합물보다 더 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 조구등은 아시아에서 전통 한약재로 널리 사용되어 왔다. 새로운 피부미백제를 찾기 위해 본 연구에서는 조구등의 항산화 활성과 잠재적인 tyrosinase 억제 작용을 확인하였다. 조구등을 70% 에탄올로 추출하여 항산화 활성을 분석하고 tyrosinase 활성과 melanin 합성에 미치는 영향을 평가했다. 총 mRNA 발현은 RT-PCR을 사용하였다. 그 결과 조구등 추출물은 B16F10 세포에서 뛰어난 항산화 능력과 상당한 수준의 폴리페놀 및 플라보노이드 화합물을 함유하였다. 또한, 세포 내 tyrosinase 활성을 억제하고 처리된 세포에서 melanin의 양을 감소시켰다. Tyrosinase의 mRNA 발현은 1 mg/ml 농도에서 현저히 감소하였다. 이와 같은 결과는 조구등이 미백 효과가 있는 화장품의 천연 소재로 사용될 수 있는 높은 잠재력을 가지고 있음을 시사한다. Many people of all ages wish to have lighter skin for cosmetic reasons, and natural products attract more attention than chemically synthesized compounds. Uncaria rhynchophylla is widely used in Asia as a traditional herbal medicine. In order to find novel skin whitening agents, the present study evaluated the antioxidant activity and potential tyrosinase-inhibiting properties of U. rhynchophylla. Specifically, this study analyzed the antioxidant capacity of a 70% ethanolic extract of U. rhynchophylla as well as its effects on tyrosinase activity and melanin synthesis. Total mRNA levels were examined using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. The results revealed that U. rhynchophylla extracts exhibit great antioxidant capacity and significant levels of polyphenol and flavonoid compounds. U. rhynchophylla extracts can also powerfully inhibit tyrosinase activity. This same capacity was observed in melanoma B16F10 cells; that is, U. rhynchophylla extracts suppressed intracellular tyrosinase activity and reduced the amount of melanin in treated cells. In addition, a 1 mg/ml concentration of U. rhynchophylla extract significantly reduced the mRNA expression levels of tyrosinase. U. rhynchophylla extracts decrease tyrosinase and inhibit melanogenesis in B16F10 cells. This finding suggests that U. rhynchophylla has great potential as a natural whitening agent in skincare products.
시뮬레이션 수업을 받은 간호대학생의 공감능력과 의사소통능력이 문제해결능력에 미치는 영향

본 연구의 목적은 시뮬레이션 수업을 받은 간호대학생의 공감능력과 의사소통능력이 문제해결능력에 미치는 효과를 파악하기 위함이다. 대상자는 시뮬레이션 수업 경험자 3, 4학년으로 234명이다. 자료수집은 2021년 4월 26일부터 5월 10일까지이다. 자료 분석은 SPSS/WIN version 25.0 프로그램으로 기술통계, 차이 검정은 Independent t-test, One way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, Multiple regression으로 하였다. 연구결과 공감능력은 7점 만점에 5.29점, 의사소통능력은 5점 만점에 3.30점, 문제해결능력은 5점 만점에 3.51점이다. 공감능력과 의사소통능력은 문제해결능력에 양의 상관관계였다. 문제해결능력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 공감능력, 의사소통능력 및 교내실습기간 순이였다. 이에 대한 설명력은 64.6%였다. 결론적으로 시뮬레이션 수업을 받은 간호대학생의 문제해결능력을 향상시키기 위해서는 지속적인 시뮬레이션 수업을 통하여 공감능력 및 의사소통능력을 증진시키기 위한 전략이 필요하다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of empathy and communication skills on nursing problem-solving skills of nursing students who received simulation classes. The subjects of this study were composed of 234 students in the 3rd and 4th grades who already took simulation classes. The data was collected from April 26th to May 10th, 2021. The data was analyzed with the SPSS WIN 25.0 program. Descriptive statistics and mean differences were analyzed using an independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. As a result, the average points of empathy skills were 5.29 out of 7, communication skills were 3.30 out of 5, and problem-solving skills were 3.51 out of 5. Empathy skills and communication skills were positively correlated with problem-solving skills. The predicting factors on problem-solving skills were empathy and communication skills, on-campus practice period, and gender in order. The explanatory power of these factors was 64.6%. In conclusion, in order to improve the problem-solving ability of nursing students, a strategy is needed to enhance empathy and communication skills through continuous simulation classes.

사이버 보안의 중요성이 부각됨에 따라 국가는 소프트웨어 개발보안 가이드를 배포하여 개발자들이 안전한 소프트웨어를 개발하도록 제시하고 있다. 하지만 이런 조치에도 불구하고 많은 개발자들이 시큐어 프로그래밍을 제대로 수행하지 못하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 시큐어 프로그래밍 학습 플랫폼은 개발자들의 시큐어 프로그래밍 습관화를 목표로, 개발자들이 본인의 개발 과정에서 발생하는 다양한 취약점을 인지하고 이를 개선하도록 하여 시큐어 프로그래밍의 학습을 유도한다. As the importance of cyber-security emerges, the state is encouraging developers to develop safe software by distributing software development security guidelines. However, despite this measures, the reality is that many developers are not properly performing secure programming. The secure programming learning platform introduced in this paper aims to make it a habit of secure programming for developers, and induces learning of secure programming by allowing developers to recognize and improve various vulnerabilities that occur in their own development process.
