In the hope of identifying anti-leukemic agents from traditional herbal medicines. this study was designed to investigate the anti-leukemic effects of the herbal medicine Jipaesan, which is composed of Angelica Dahurica and Fritillariae Verticillata. in acute promyeloid leukemia HL-60 cells. Jipaesan showed anti-proliferative effect through the induction of differentiation and apoptosis in HL -60 cells. Verticinone as a major differentiating agent and imperatorin as major apoptosis-inducing agent were isolated from the water extracts of F. Verticillata and A. Dahurica, respectively. Combined treatment of HL-60 cells with two major compounds showed synergy in the induction of differentiation. Since the induction of differentiation and/or apoptosis has therapeutic values in curing acute leukemic diseases. Jipaesan could be useful as an anti-leukemic agent.

<P><B>An alternating stack (SG/GN) consisting of SnO<SUB>2</SUB>‐functionalized graphene oxide (SG) and amine‐functionalized GO (GN) is prepared in solution</B>. The thermally reduced SG/GN (r(SG/GN)) with decreased micro‐mesopores and completely eliminated macropores, results in a high reversible capacity and excellent capacity retention (872 mA h g<SUP>−1</SUP> after 200 cycles at 100 mA g<SUP>−1</SUP>) when compared to a composite without GN.</P>

An acoustic and trawl pilot survey using a small vessel was conducted in Jinhae bay of the South Sea of South Korea on April 13~14, May 11~13 and June 8~10, 2015. During the survey, acoustic data was collected and bottom trawls were conducted at the same time. First, various noises were eliminated by using the Park method based on the Wang method (Wang et al., 2015; Park et al., 2015), the species compositions and catch rate from each bottom trawl were observed, and spatial distribution of fishery resources in the water column and their nautical area scattering coefficient (NASC) were investigated through acoustic data. During the entire survey period, 12 orders, 33 families and 41 species were caught. The most caught species in April, May and June were Okamejei kenojei, Zoarces gilli and Pholis nebulosa, respectively. Fish schools were observed near the line of net mouth height in April. Numerous weak scatters were presented on the echograms in May and June. Many fish schools appeared in between the water surface and 20 m deep in May. The NASC value from entire water columns was the lowest in April (35.9 m2/n/2nㆍmile2) and highest in June (1541.3 m2/2nㆍmile2).
선택적 레이저 용융법으로 제조된 Ti-6Al-4V 합금의 고 주기 피로 특성에 미치는 건식 전해 연마의 영향

Additively manufactured metallic components contain high surface roughness values, which lead to unsatisfactory high cycle fatigue resistance. In this study, high cycle fatigue properties of selective laser melted Ti-6Al-4V alloy are investigated and the effect of dry-electropolishing, which does not cause weight loss, on the fatigue resistance is also examined. To reduce the internal defect in the as-built Ti-6Al-4V, first, hot isostatic pressing (HIP) is conducted. Then, to improve the mechanical properties, solution treatment and aging are also implemented. Selective laser melting (SLM)-built Ti64 shows a primary α and secondary α+β lamellar structure. The sizes of secondary α and β are approximately 2 ㎛ and 100 nm, respectively. On the other hand, surface roughness Ra values of before and after dry-electropolishing are 6.21 ㎛ and 3.15 ㎛, respectively. This means that dry-electropolishing is effective in decreasing the surface roughness of selective laser melted Ti-6Al-4V alloy. The comparison of high cycle fatigue properties between before and after dry-electropolished samples shows that reduced surface roughness improves the fatigue limit from 150 MPa to 170 MPa. Correlations between surface roughness and high cycle fatigue properties are also discussed based on these findings.

본 논문은 실제의 비행시험 데이터를 이용하여 커나드 비행기 Velocity-173의 가로-방향의 조종/안정 미계수들을 추정하는 것이며, 나아가서 비행중에(In-Flight) 실시간 파라미터 추정기법을 이용한 미계수 확인 및 분석에 관한 내용이다. 본 논문에서 적용한 비행중 실시간 파라미터 추정기법의 결과는 AAA의 해석 결과와 비교하였으며 그 결과는 상당히 신뢰할 수 있고 계산시간 또한 만족스러움을 확인하였다. The Purpose of this paper is to obtain the lateral-directional controllability and stability derivatives of the Velocity-173 from the flight test data and to simulate motion of the aircraft by using In-flight Real-Time Parameter Estimation Techniques. In this paper, the results of the In-Flight Real-Time parameter Estimation Techniques are compared with the results of the Advanced Aircraft Analysis. As a result, Estimation by using In-Flight Real-Time Parameter Estimation Techniques can be done rapidly and their results are reliable.

Cancer of the stomach is responsible for approximately 650,000 deaths globally each year and is probably second only to lung cancer worldwide as an overall cause of cancer-related mortality. Similar to the situation with most adenocarcinomas of the gastointestinal tract, carcinomas of the stomach can spread by local extension to adjacent normal structures and can develop lymphatic, peritoneal, and distant metastases. The tumor cells, can also permeate diffusely into the lymphatic plexus of the bowel, more often at the level of the upper duodenum hut sometimes down into the distal ileum and the large bowel. We report a case of lymphatic metastasis of gastric adenocarcinoma to the ampulla of Vater with review of the literature.

<P>A novel five-mask low-temperature polycrystalline silicon (LTPS) CMOS structure was verified by manufacturing the thin-film transistor test samples using the proposed five-mask LTPS CMOS process. In integrating the five-mask CMOS structure, a selective contact barrier metal formation process was developed, without additional photomask steps, to solve the issue of high-contact-resistance problem encountered inevitably in the contact between the indium tin oxide and doped polycrystalline silicon (poly-Si) source-drain layers. The five-mask CMOS technology was also confirmed by manufacturing a five-mask CMOS panel for the active-matrix liquid-crystal-display application.</P>
