        서울의 CNG버스를 전기버스로 대체했을 때환경 개선 효과 분석

        In particular, vehicles with internal combustion engines of public transportation such as diesel and CNG buses are inurgent need of measures to reduce emissions as they have a long daily total mileage, long driving hours and a largenumber of vehicles. In this paper, the fuel consumption rate (km/kWh) was actually measured through road test ofelectric buses. Based on the measured values, CO2 emissions from internal combustion engines and electric buses werecalculated per bus. In addition to environmental improvement effects such as the expected reduction of carbon dioxidecompared to CNG buses when replacing city buses with electric buses, additional effects were analyzed when thereplacement of CNG buses is expanded to electric buses. 자동차에서 배출되는 배기가스가 대도시의 대기 오염원 중 큰 비중을 차지하고 있다. 특히 디젤이나 CNG버스 등 대중교통의 내연기관 차량은 매일 총 주행거리와 운행시간이 길고 차량 수량이 많기 때문에 배출가스 저감 대책이 시급하다. 본 논문에서는 실제로 전기버스의 도로 주행시험을 통한 연료소모율(km/kWh)을 측정하였다. 측정값을 근거로 버스 한 대당 내연기관과 전기버스에서 발생되는 CO2배출량을 계산하였다. 전기버스를 시내버스로 대체할 경우 CNG버스 대비 예상되는 이산화탄소 저감 등 환경개선 효과와 더불어 전기버스로 대체가 확대될 경우 부가적인 효과를 분석하였다.

        Interannual variation of surface circulation in the Japan/East Sea due to external forcings and intrinsic variability

        The interannual variation of surface ocean currents can be as large as seasonal variation in the Japan/East Sea (JES). To identify the major factors that cause such interannual variability of surface ocean circulation in the JES, surface circulation was simulated from 1998 to 2009 using a three-dimensional model. Contributions of atmospheric forcing (ATM), open boundary data (OBC), and intrinsic variability (ITV) of the surface flow in the JES on the interannual variability of surface ocean circulation were separately examined using numerical simulations. Variability in surface circulation was quantified in terms of variance in sea surface height, 100-m depth water temperature, and surface currents. ITV was found to be the dominant factor that induced interannual variabilities of surface circulation, the main path of the East Korea Warm Current (EKWC), and surface kinetic energy on a time scale of 2?4 years. OBC and ATM were secondary factors contributing to the interannual variation of surface circulation. Interannual variation of ATM changed the separation latitude of EKWC and increased the variability of surface circulation in the Ulleung Basin. Interannual variation of OBC enhanced low-frequency changes in surface circulation and eddies in the Yamato Basin. It also modulated basin-wide uniform oscillations of sea level. This study suggests that precise estimation of initial conditions using data assimilation is essential for long-term prediction of surface circulation in the JES.

        Rare Mating에 의한 양초효모에서의 glucoamylase 발현 균주 HCS 선별 및 특성

        Rare mating was used to select a respiratory deficient mutant of Saccharomyces cerevisiae HDC52 strain. Glucoamylase gene of S. diastaticus K114 was developed into the RD mutant which could uptake maximum amount of non-fermentable sugars through the expression of glu- coamplyase gene and the fermentation characteristics of the developed strain HCS were investigated. The size of HCS yeast and HBD52 yeast strain were 13 $\mu\textrm{m}$ and 10$\mu\textrm{m}$ respectively. HCS strain which can uptake maximum amount of non-fermentable sugar through the expression of glucoamylase gene was developed. By karyotype anal- ysis. HCS stain but not RD mutant HBC52 showed a band of 1150 kb chromosome DNA This band should include glcoamylase gene from Saccharomyces diataticus K114 THis strain has glucoamylase which can degrade starch By transduction and contrnuance of glucoamylase gene HCS strain gegraded strach and formed halo. Also, HCS strain maintained the character after 50 generations. Glucoamylase activities of Saccharomyces diastaticus K114 and HCS yeast strains are 9.5 and 2.7~3.4(unit/ml) HCS and HBC52 strain showed similar sugar fermentation patterns and low flocculation In spore and film forming test, HCS and HBC52 strain formed neither spores nor films. In the limit fermentation test, HBC52 strain showed fermentation level of 68% and HCS strain showed 76~78% As the limit attenuation of HBC52 and HCS were ($2.00^{\circ}$P) and ($0.7~0.93^{\circ}$P) This study demon- strates and HCS strain may be used for low carbohydrate beer fermentation. S. cerevisiae HBC52와 S, diataticus K114 의 rare mating 에 의해 개발된 HCS 균주들은 크기가 약 $13\mu\textrm{m}$ karyotype 분석결과 K114 균주에만 있는 약 1150kb 분자량을 가지는 염색체 band를 유지하였으며 전분을 분해하여 halo 를 형성하였다. Glucoamylase 활성은 약 2.7~3.4 unti/ml 를 가진 균주임이 밝혀졌으며 당 발효실험과 응집성 실험을 수행한 결과 HBC52 균주와 유사한 당 발효특성을 보이고 응집성 특성도 약응집성의 floculation type으로 비슷하였다. 그리고 HCS 균주의 포자형성과 피막형성 유무 실험에서는 양조효모인 HBC52 균주와 같이 포자가 형성되지 않았으며, 피막도 형성되지않았다. 균주들의 최종당도 실험은 HBC52균주가 약 68%의 발효수준을 나타냈고, HCS 균주들은 이 보다 높은 76~78%의 수준을 보였따. 즉 HBC52 균주가 최종당도($ 2.00^{\circ}$P)를 보인 반면 HCS 균주들은 ($0.7~0.93^{\circ}$P)를 보이는 결괄르 나타내어 맥주양조에서 low carbohydrate beer를 생산할 수있음이 확인되었다.

        Surface soils and aerial parts of Korean lawn(Zoysia koreana) at normal fair way of 4 golf courses and yellow discolored fairway of one golf course in Kyonggi province were taken at and analyzed for mineral contents in soil Mg and Ca were most deficient while EC was too high and phosphorus was exess. There were significant positive correlation between pH and Ca and between EC and total N. There was no consistent simple correlation between single component in soil and plant, indicating the involvement of multi-minerals in one mineral absorption. m mineral contents of aerial part Mg was severely low. potassium moderately but Ca was normal, Mg and Ca showed significant correlation in aerial part, yellow-discolored lawn showed the lowest content of Mg in aerial part and surface soil. Very high N and high phosphorus in aerial part inspite of low P in soil. The above facts indicates Mg deficiency in fair way soils in most golf courses resulting in yellow-discoloration in lawn.

        Hypoadiponectinemia in Patients With Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

        Background and Objectives: Adiponectin is an adipose tissue-derived hormone that has beneficial effects on cardiac function and has been reported to be associated with lipid metabolism, glucose metabolism, and insulin resistance. Serum levels of adiponectin are reduced in obese individuals compared with non-obese individuals. Obesity is associated with an increased incidence of atrial fibrillation (AF); how -ever, the role of adiponectin in AF is unclear. The aim of this study is to evaluate the relationship between the plasma adiponectin level and AF. Subjects and Methods: Sixty-one consecutive patients were prospectively enrolled for this study. Subjects were divided into two groups:patients with AF (n=30) and controls (n=31). Laboratory evaluation, including levels of plasma adiponectin, was performed and echocardio-graphic parameters were measured. Results: The baseline characteristics were not different between the two groups. The plasma adiponectin level of patients in the AF group was significantly lower than in the control group (14.9 ±7.2 vs. 19.±8.9 µg/mL, p<0.05). In addition, when we divided the AF patients into paroxysmal and chronic AF, the plasma adiponectin level was significantly lower in patients with paroxysmal AF, compared with the control group. In multiple binary logistic regression analysis to evaluate the independent predictors for AF, adiponectin and left atrial diameter were strong independent predictors of AF. Conclusion: In this study a lower plasma adiponectin concentration was significantly associated with that of paroxysmal AF. Hypoadipo -nectinemia can potentially be an important risk factor for AF.

      • 잔디생육에 대한 유기물, 활성탄소 및 마그네슘의 효과

        Effect pf rape seed oil cake compast (OM) active carbon(C) compound fertilizer (NPK) and magnesium sulfate (Mg) application on Zoysia koreana growth by lysimeter of 50cm soil column filled with a low fertility loam. Effect on growth was in order of OM>OM . NPK interaction> NPK . active carbon and Mg were not effective OM . NPK interaction effect was negative on leaf width and root dry matter yield. OM and OM . NPK interaction were most effective on rhizome growth. Their effect did not change the ratio of growth rates between aerial part and rhizome but change that between aerial part and root. Leaf width was most sensitive to the treatments.
