        액중 전기폭발법을 이용한 니켈 나노분말 제조

        Nickel wires of 0.8 mm in diameter and 80 mm in length were electrically exploded in liquid media such as water, ethyl alcohol. The distribution of particle sizes was broad from a few micrometers to tens of nanometer. It was identified that the particles could be classified according to its sizes by using centrifugal separator. The powder prepared in distilled water showed mainly pure metallic Ni phase although a little oxide phase was observed. The powders prepared in ethyl alcohol showed complicated unknown phases, which is attributed to the compound of carbon in the organic liquid. This unknown phase was turned to pure metallic Ni phase after heat treatment.

        This paper reports the fabrication and characterization of $5\;\times\;5$ thermal cantilever array for nano-scaled memory device application. The $5\;\times\;5$ thermal cantilever array with integrated tip heater has been fabricated with MEMS technology on SOI wafer using 7 photo masking steps. All single-level cantilevers have a diode in order to eliminate any electrical cross-talk between adjacent tips. Electrical measurements of fabricated thermal cantilever away show its own thermal heating mechanism. Thermal heating is demonstrated by the reflow of coated photoresist on the cantilever array surface.

        계절적 라돈농도 변화 및 토양기원 실내라돈과 토양내 라돈농도의 상관성 분석 -단독주택 사례연구-

        In this study, the variation of indoor and soil radon concentrations were measured at a test bed (detached house), and correlation analysis was performed using linear regression. The results showed that the average concentration of indoor radon was increased by about 20% when the heater was operated in the house, but it was decreased by 15% when the ventilation system was on. In the changes of seasonal radon concentrations, soil and indoor radon concentrations in winter were higher than in summer. Statistical analysis showed a weak correlation between the soil radon and indoor radon, but the correlation (R=0.852, $R^2=0.726$) was relatively high at exhaust condition in the winter. It is difficult to extrapolate the results of the study to the general cases because radon distribution is highly site-specific, but the result of this study could be used as a reference for radon management and reduction of detached house in the future investigations.

        소아와 성인 갑상설관 낭종 환자군의 비교

        Purpose: Thyroglossal duct cyst (TGDC) is known to be the most common midline neck mass in children, but the adult population still has this abnormality. The most common symptom of TGDC is a simple neck mass, and differential diagnosis among other abnormalities is important. The aim of this study is to perform a retrospective view of TGDC in order to describe any differences in clinical features, diagnostic tools, treatment, and outcomes in children and adults who underwent surgery in a single institution, and to determine its clinical implications. Methods: We performed a retrospective chart review on 75 pathologically diagnosed TGDC patients from 1995 to 2013 who were divided into two groups: children (≤18 years) and adults. Comparison analysis was performed for age, sex, site and location of cyst, size, diagnostic tool, surgical method, and postoperative outcome. Results: Our study showed frequent occurrence of TGDC in adults. There was no significant sex, site, or location difference in the occurrence of TGDC in children and adults, however, the size of cyst in adults was larger than that in children (mean, 2.80 cm vs 2.15 cm) (P< 0.001). Four patients (5.3%) had postoperative recurrence of TGDC, and Sistrunk operation showed lower recurrence rate than excision (3.1% vs 18.2%) (P<0.040). Two malignancy cases were identified postoperatively in adults. Conclusion: Particularly in adults, the possibility of carcinoma would make it important to perform fine-needle aspiration for differential diagnosis. Sistrunk procedure will remain the treatment of choice for most TGDC patients considering recurrence risk.

        액중 전기폭발법을 이용한 아연 나노분말 제조 및 분석

        Zn wires have been electrically exploded in methanol or distilled water using the pulsed power technologies. The nanopowders produced by the explosions have been observed by using SEM and TEM, and analyzed its phase by using EDS and XRD. The nanopowders produced in distilled water showed ZnO phase only. On the other hands, the nanopowder produced in methanol showed mixed phases with Zn and ZnO. The HR-TEM images of the nanopowders produced in methanol showed that the some particles have been coated with carbon like materials. It is considered that the carbon coatings could be depended on the positions of the particles during the plasma state formed by explosion.

        사회 정의와 도덕과 교육 - 고전적 정의론을 중심으로

        롤스의 정의론과 같은 현대 자유주의적 정의관은 원자적 개인을 전제로 사회 정의의 문제를 접근하기 때문에 고립적 개인주의와 지나친 분배중심주의의 문제점을 가지고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 현재 도덕과 교과서는 현대 자유주의의 정의관 중심으로만 기술되어 있어 개선이 시급하다. 이러한 문제의식에 따라 본 논문은 자유주의적 정의관이 지닌 문제점을 해결하기 위해 그리스나 로마의 전통에 나타난 고전적 정의론에 주목하고자 한다. 현대 자유주의적 정의관이 가지는 한계를 극복하기 위해 인간과 사회를 결합시킨 그리스의 플라톤이나 아리스토텔레스, 로마의 키케로의 정의론에서 그 해답을 찾을 수 있다는 것이 본 논문의 입장이다. Liberal justice is biased towards personal interest and rights despite its advantages, and yet moral subject textbooks for middle school students wrongly describe citizenship based only on individualistic or distributive concepts of liberal justice. Accordingly, this paper is an attempt at providing an alternative theory of justice that seeks to correct the perceived problems of modern liberal justice. Noticing that the Greek tradition or the Roman tradition as a model for classical justice has some important implications for civic education, this paper suggests that a theory of classical justice, based on the tradition of Plato, Aristotle and Cicero be taught at moral subject education.

        후기 근대와 사회적인 것의 위기

        이 논문에서 필자는 먼저 신자유주의적 지구화 시대의 한국사회에 짙게 드리우고 있는 후기 근대적 풍경들을 지적한 다음 한국의 여성운동을 포함한 사회운동이 정체되어 있는 주원인이 정치지형이 후기 근대로 바뀌었는데도 여전히 계몽적 기획 안에서 운동을 추구하기 때문이라고 보고 그 대안으로 아고니즘 정치의 가능성을 모색해보려고 한다. 사회적인 것의 위기와 개인화로 요약할 수 있는 후기 근대는 근대처럼 외부의 영향력이나 개인들이 균일하게 결집된 결과에 의해 변화가 일어나는 선형적 체계가 아니라 개개인들의 행동이 피드백회로(feedback loop)를 통해 그 자체가 영향력을 구성하여 자생적으로 체계에 변화를 가져올 수 있는 비선형 체계, 즉 재귀적 체계(reflexive system)이다. 재귀적 체계의 사회에서 개별화된 개인은 선택의 자율성을 누리는 반면 그 선택의 결과는 더 예측하기 어려워진다는 점에서 지속적인 불안에 노출된다. 모두가 동의하는 공동의 목표를 설정한 후 그 실현을 위해서 정치적 운동을 펼치는 방식이 한계에 이르렀지만 그렇다고 개개인의 행위성이 반드시 자유를 담보하는 것도 아닌 상황에서, 효율성과 인간의 존엄성 확보 사이에 적절한 균형을 찾는 유일한 방법은 구성원 누구나 자신의 주장을 제기하고 그 주장에 귀 기울이고 이의를 제기할 준비가 되어 있는, 서로간의 의견존중을 기반으로 한 정치적 공간을 열어두는 아고니즘 정치를 추구하는 것이다. 사회적 실천에는 선험적인 기준이나 목표가 없다는 실천이론의 통찰을 받아들인다면, 후기 근대사회의 여성운동을 포함한 사회운동은 개별화된 개인들이 경연(agon)에서 토론을 통해 합의를 도출하는 방식을 강화시키는 방향으로 나아가야 하며 이는 결국 실천이론의 정치적 구현인 아고니즘 정치 이외의 방법은 없다는 결론을 도출하게 한다. This work starts from a description of the recent sociological and political terrain in Korean society as a heavily imbued one of late modernity and diagnoses that loss of vitality in social movements including women’s movement stems mainly from their misdirected strategies still residing in the modernistic project. As a remedy, this work proposes to explore the possibility of subpoltics and agonistic politics. The main characteristic of late modernity emphasized is the strong nonlinearity or reflexivity of the interactions between individuals in the social system compared to the linearity or reflectivity of modernity. In contrast to the changes in modernity caused by external forces and collective actions uniformly aggregated from individual actions, the reflexivity of late modernity can sustain endogeneous transformations of the social system through the feedback loop initiated from inhomogeneous individual actions. In this reflexive system, an individual may enjoy increased freedom but the effect of his action becomes increasingly unstable and unpredictable, causing insecurity and anxiety. The fact that, though the strategy of searching for and deciding on a common agenda based on the social consensus and then endeavoring for its realization has already reached its limits, individual agency cannot guarantee due freedom naturally suggests to explore the possibility of agonistic politics. Agonistic politics, regarded as the political implementation of social practice theory, emerges as the inevitable strategy to secure efficiency and humane dignity in late modernity by maintaining an open political space where every participant is ready to listen to the claims raised by the other, engage in their deliberation, and contest them without any compulsion to arrive at a premature conclusion. Based on the intuition gained by pragmatic philosophers and social scientists that social practice need not rely on the externally imposed criteria and goals for its sustenance, this work claims in conclusion that social movements including women’s movement should emphasize the role of agonistic politics to escape the present stalemate.

        증류수 중 전기폭발에 의한 Cu 나노분말 제조 및 분석

        The Cu powder was prepared in distilled water. It has a wide range of size distribution. The submicron-sized particles in the Cu powder were removed by using continuous type centrifugal separator. The average particle size after classification was approximately 50㎚. The XRD analysis showed that pure Cu phase and oxide phase (Cu₂O)weremixedinthepowderpreparedbythismethod.
