        한국 대학생과 중국 유학생의 칭찬 응대 비교 연구

        In the era of globalization and multiculturalism, awareness of diversity is important. Multiculturalism is not a future we have to prepare, but it is already arrived inside us. In particular, Universities have long been operating within the framework of globalization and multiculturalism. Education has already praised multiculturalism and has explicitly aimed at strengthening awareness of diversity. In order to properly form social relations with other people in a multicultural society, it is essential to understand the other person and understand the other’s culture. The purpose of this study is to find out the difference of compliment and compliment response according to the language, and to establish a framework for understanding of others in multicultural society. Compliment is an important speech act in the formation of social relations, and it is an discourse that has various meanings in education. Such Compliment, however, can be perceived differently by culture, depending on the theme and context of the compliment. Above all, misunderstandings may occur at the time of forming intimacy by responding to the compliment. This study is to compare the compliment response of Chinese university students studying at Korean universities and Korean university students, and to clarify the meaning of the results. The research was conducted through a discourse completion test, and the results of the research were analyzed statistically.

        Mortality Rate and Major Causes of Death by Gestational Age in Korean Children under 5 Years of Age

        Background: Preterm birth is associated with increased infant mortality. However, it is not clear whether prematurity is associated with mortality after 1 year of age. There is a lack of research on mortality rate and causes of death after infancy in preterm babies in Korea. We aimed to analyze the mortality rates and causes of deaths up to 5 years of age in Korea. Methods: Using the Microdata Integrated Service of Statistics Korea database, this retrospective cohort study screened infants born between 2010 and 2012. After applying the exclusion criteria, 1,422,913 live births were classified into the following groups by gestational age: those born at < 32 weeks' gestation (n = 10,411), those born between 32 and 36 weeks' gestation (n = 75,657), and those born at ≥ 37 weeks' gestation (n = 1,336,845). The association of gestational age with mortality in infancy (< 1 year of age) and childhood (1–5 years of age) was analyzed, with and without covariates. The major causes of death in infancy and childhood were analyzed by gestational age. Results: Overall, 4,930 (0.3%) children died between birth and 5 years of age, with 19.1% of these deaths occurring after infancy. Adjusted hazard ratios (HRs) for infant death were 78.79 (95% confidence interval [CI], 71.33–87.04) and 4.62 (95% CI, 4.07–5.24) for the < 32 and 32–36 weeks groups, respectively, compared to the full-term group; the adjusted HRs for deaths occurring at ages 1–5 years were 9.25 (95% CI, 6.85–12.50) and 2.42 (95% CI, 1.95–3.01), respectively. In infancy, conditions originating in the perinatal period were the most common cause of deaths in the < 32 and 32–36 weeks groups (88.7% and 41.9%, respectively). Contrarily, in the ≥ 37 weeks group, conditions originating in the perinatal period explained 22.7% of infant deaths, with congenital malformations primarily accounting for 29.6% of these deaths. The most common cause of death in children (after infancy) in the < 32 weeks group was perinatal causes (25.0%); in the 32–36 weeks group, congenital malformation and nervous system disease were the common causes (21.7% and 19.1%, respectively). In the ≥ 37 weeks group, injury, poisoning, and other consequences of external causes explained 26.6% of childhood deaths, followed by neoplasms and nervous system disease (15.7% and 14.7%, respectively). Conclusion: Low gestational age is associated with not only infant mortality but also child mortality. The major causes of death differed by gestational age in infancy and childhood. For the care of preterm infants, especially those born at < 32 weeks' gestation, particular attention and continuous monitoring are needed in consideration of the major causes of deaths until 5 years of age.

        학문 목적 한국어 듣기에 대한 대학 유학생의 요구와 인식 연구

        With a steady increase in the number of international studentsattending Korean universities, various studies have emerged to addressthese students ’ approach to academic Korean. Most of the studieshave focused extensively on reading and writing, with few lookingbeyond to what is required in regards to academic listening. Theability to listen to lectures has a decisive effect on learning and academicachievement in universities. However, a large number of internationalstudents tend to perceive listening as the easiest of the languageskills, because they do not distinguish between general listening andlecture listening. Due to the difficulties in lecture listening, directlyassociated with understanding lecture contents, many students tend tofall behind early in the semester and resort to dropping courses andfail to graduate. The purpose of this article is to assess the perceptionsand needs of first year international students in terms of academiclistening. The perceptions and needs of the students to lecturesatisfaction. We strived to assess factors associated with competencyin academic listening in order to build a curriculum for effectivelecture listening for academic purposes.

        지체장애학생의 학습장애 실태와 지도에 대한 지체장애학교 교사의 인식

        The purpose of this study is to guide physically disabled students to have the successful choice of Teaching-learning method and to provide them with better learning environment and to improve teaching methods of teachers' at the chalkface. The goals of this study are as follows: First, we need to know teacher's recognition regarding situation of physically disabled student with learning disabilities. Second, we need to know teacher's recognition concerning teaching for physically disabled student with learning disabilities. The target subjects of this survey are two hundred eighty teachers of the 10 national physically disabled schools and two hundred seventy survey sheet are collected (collect rate: 94.4%). Major findings of this study can be summarized as follows: First, teacher's recognition about learning disabilities situation is differ from element to element. Our analysis of the teachers' response tell us that they experience possible students with learning disabilities more than eighty one percent. This shows that students who have trouble learning among physically disabled students widely existed. Second, this study shows that teachers' recognition of teaching physically disabled students with learning disabilities is differ from element to element. Most physically disabled school teachers choose individualized education program that is necessary to educate the learning disabled and they answer a question that the lack of time for individualized education is the most problem. This shows teacher think that individualized program is most important when they teach students. However, it is difficult to run individualized program because of the time and environment situation. 본 연구는 지체장애학생의 학습장애 실태와 지도에 대한 지체장애학교 교사의 인식을 알아보기 위해 270명의 지체장애학교 교사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS Windows Ver, 17.0을 이용하여 빈도분석과 교차분석을 실시하였으며 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 지체장애학생의 학습장애 실태에 대한 지체장애학교 교사의 인식은 변인별로 다르게 나타났으며 응답자의 81%이상이 학습장애로 의심되는 학생을 만난 적이 있다고 보고하였다. 이로 인해 지체장애 학생들 중 학습에 어려움을 겪고 있는 학생들이 광범위하게 존재하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 지체장애학생을 위한 학습장애 지도에 대한 지체장애학교 교사의 인식은 변인별로 다르게 나타났다. 지체장애학교 교사들은 학습장애를 지닌 학생 교육 시 ‘개별화교육프로그램 운영’에 대한 지원을 가장 필요로 하였고, 어려운 점은 ‘개별화교육을 위한 시간 부족’을 선택하였다. 이는 개별화교육프로그램을 중요하게 생각하지만 시간적․환경적 여건상의 어려움이 있음을 알 수 있다.

        20세기 패션특징을 반영한 한국복식 디자인 연구

        Fashion has been reinterpreted through modern designers as genres, trends and cultures of all cultures have been revived in internationalization and globalization trends. Reinterpretation of design, materials and trends in the fashion field is repeated with a certain cycle, and as of the 1900s, modern fashion has evolved to represent the value and aesthetic characteristics of its time through various changes. Along with the development of industrialization, new interpretations of trends and cultures change from the 1900s to the present, and modern fashion shows the historical meaning and cultural values of fashion of each period in a different style than the existing image. At a time when the mix of time and space, such as the past and the future, tradition and modern, traditional Korean clothes also need to be modernized and applied to the styles shown in 20th century fashion, and a new Korean fashion design is needed. Most studies on fashion and Korean clothes are focused on aesthetic, Orientalism, fusion and modernization of tradition. Therefore, the researcher intends to analyze the characteristics and silhouettes of various fashion styles and present Korean style designs based on them. This study analyzes the various fashion styles and characteristics of contemporary fashion in the 20th century and aims to develop a new Korean style design by applying them to Korean Costumes. In order to carry out this research, we will present the literature on 20th century fashion, theoretical research through advance study, volume, professional books and the experimental study based on illustration and pictures and collection. This research is meaningful in that it expands the beauty and potential of Korean Costumes in the rapidly developing fashion market and provides basic data on Korean design research by presenting new development directions through experimental attempts.
