Effect of oxygen intercalation into oxygen-deficient SrFe0.8Co0.2O3-δ thin films

Controlling oxygen contents is an easy way to tune physical properties in the transition metal oxides. In particular, Fe and/or Co containing oxides are often found to show different electronic states with different valence states by the method. In this report, we synthesized oxygen-deficient SrFe0.8Co0.2O3d thin films on (001) (LaAlO3)0.3-(SrAl0.5Ta0.5O3)0.7 substrates by pulsed laser deposition and observed the modification of its electronic state by facile low temperature oxidative annealing. As a result of simple oxidative annealing, we achieved a huge decrease of the lattice constant, reduction in electric resistivity, an increase of the valence states of both Co and Fe, and an increase of hybridization between oxygen and transition metal ions without losing the crystallinity.

Purpose: We report a case of antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated optic neuritis with glomerulonephritis. Case summary: A 66-year-old male with a history of acute kidney injury presented with decreased visual acuity in both eyes. His best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was 0.15 in the right eye and 0.6 in the left eye. Both eyes showed optic disc swelling and Ishihara’s tests were 1/17. He was treated with intravenous methylprednisolone for 3 days to treat presumed bilateral optic neuritis. In follow-up, anti-myeloperoxidase antibody (anti-MPO antibody, p-ANCA) was positive at 32.0 IU/mL and ANCA-associated chronic sclerosing glomerulonephritis was found in the left kidney biopsy. He is currently being followed-up on oral steroids in the outpatient clinic. Kidney function improved immediately after high-dose steroid therapy. After 3 months of treatment, optic disc swelling resolved. On the other hand, there was minimal improvement in visual acuity. Conclusions: In ANCA-associated optic neuritis with glomerulonephritis, both optic disc swelling and kidney function improved with steroid therapy. On the other hand, there was only a small improvement in visual acuity. 목적: 사구체신염을 동반한 항호중구세포질항체와 연관된 시신경염의 증례를 보고하고자 한다. 증례요약: 66세 남자 환자가 급성 신부전으로 본원 신장내과 외래 경과 관찰 중 양안 시력저하로 안과로 내원하였다. 교정시력은 우안 0.15, 좌안 0.6이었으며, 양안 유두부종(optic disc swelling)이 관찰되었고, 색각검사(Ishihara’s test)는 양안 1/17이었다. 양안 시신경염 소견하 고용량 스테로이드 Methylprednisolone 정맥 치료 후, 경구용 Prednisolone을 복용하며 외래 경과 관찰하였다. 혈청 anti-myeloperoxidase antibody 양성(32.0 IU/mL), 좌측 신장 조직검사상 항호중구세포질항체-연관성 만성 경화성 사구체신염 소견이 있었다. 환자는 고용량 스테로이드 치료 직후부터 신기능 향상 및 시신경유두부종 호전을 보였으며, 치료 3개월 뒤 양안의 시신경유두부종은 완전히 호전되었으나, 교정시력은 우안 0.1, 좌안 0.7로 경한 호전만 보였다. 결론: 사구체신염을 동반한 항호중구세포질항체와 연관된 시신경염에서 스테로이드 치료로 시신경부종 및 신기능은 호전되었으나 양안의 시력은 경한 호전만을 관찰할 수 있었다.

항공디지털사진카메라의 기술개발 및 발전에 따라 국외에서는 2000년 이후 도입되었으며, 국내에서도 2006년 이후 선형센서와 면형센서 항공촬영용 디지털카메라를 도입하여 2008년부터 국가기본도제작 및 수정/갱신사업에 기존 아날로그방식 사진기준점측량 기준점수량 및 배치의 작업규정을 적용하여 수행하고 있다. 본 연구는 국내에 도입된 선형센서방식 항공디지털카메라 ADS40영상에 대하여 사진기준점측량을 수행하여 기준점수량 및 배치에 따른 성과를 비교분석하였다. 그 결과 RMSE가 기준점 평면은 ${\pm}0.068m$, ${\pm}0.073m$, ${\pm}0.071m$이고, 높이는 ${\pm}0.041m$, ${\pm}0.055m$, ${\pm}0.041m$이며, 검사점 평면은 ${\pm}0.167m$, ${\pm}0.113m$, ${\pm}0.110m$이고, 높이는 ${\pm}0.128m$, ${\pm}0.086m$, ${\pm}0.081m$로국토지리정보원의 항공사진측량작업내규에서 요구하는 정확도를 확보할 수 있었고, 대축척 수치지형도작성이 가능하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. Aerial digital camera was used in outside since 2000 because of technical development & improvement of it. In korea, line type or frame type digital camera introduced since 2006 was used in manufacture and Correction of National base map appling the number and distribution of control point of analogue aerial triangulation from 2008. The main objective of the study is to compare and analyze the effects of the number and distribution of control points in accuracy of results, when we execute aerial triangulation with images from ADS40, line type sensored aerial digital camera available in korea. The result of RMSE can be concluded that accuracy of all the case are meet the aerial photograph surveying work regulation of NGI as to horizontal of control point ${\pm}0.068m$, ${\pm}0.073m$, ${\pm}0.071m$, height ${\pm}0.041m$, ${\pm}0.055m$, ${\pm}0.055m$, ${\pm}0.041m$, as to horizontal of check point ${\pm}0.167m$, ${\pm}0.113m$, ${\pm}0.110m$, height ${\pm}0.128m$, ${\pm}0.086m$, ${\pm}0.081m$. We have confirmed that it is possible to make out large scale digital topographic map.

Lithium-sulfur batteries have a fatal disadvantage called as “polysulfide shuttle” which is caused by free diffusion of polysulfides dissolved in organic electrolyte. On the other hand, ion transport properties play a critical role to improve a device performance. Because it is related with electrochemical polarization issues, namely ohmic polarization called as IR drop and concentration polarization arises from a concentration gradient in the Li salt. Separator modification can solve polysulfide shuttle issue and furthermore, enhance ion transport properties. Here, it is required to maximize utilization of the surface-functionalized interface characteristics with zwitterions. To this end, surface of pore-controlled separator was grafted with sulfobetaine zwitterions. Ion transport properties were characterized through ionic conductivity, transference number and F, Li NMR data and polysulfide regulation issues and battery performance were evaluated in Li-S battery system.

Recently, various studies related to adding functionalities to battery separators have been reported. In particular, high conductivity of separators is considered to be one of the crucial properties for fast charge/discharge characteristics in battery applications. Here, we attached sulfobetaine zwitterionic functional group on polydopamine- coated polyolefin separator to induce dissociation lithium-ion cation and counter anion for high ion conductivity. Furthermore, zwitterion/polydopamine composite-coated separator showed prohibition effect for “polysulfide shuttling” in a lithium-sulfur battery system.
