        알칼라인 수전해 운전 조건에서 분리판 소재의 내구성 및 효율 평가

        Since the industrial revolution, environmental problems have become more serious due to the continuous use of fossil fuels. Many efforts are being made around the world to solve this problem, and interest in renewable energy is increasing. One of these renewable energies is hydrogen. Among the various types of hydrogen, green hydrogen is an eco-friendly energy that does not emit carbon dioxide. Water electrolysis exists as a technology to produce green hydrogen, and there are several types depending on the electrolyte used and the type of ions moved, but this paper focuses on alkaline water electrolysis (AWE). In order to improve the efficiency of AWE and commercialize it, we conducted a study to confirm the possibility of low-cost, high-efficiency AWE operation by changing the material of the anode plate, one of the components of the AWE stack. To check the durability and efficiency of AWE operation according to the anode plate, we changed the size of the anode plate and operated it for 500 h and 100 h. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that the durability and efficiency of the two anode plates were similar, so it is expected to be price competitive in the water electrolysis market.

        초등학생 대상 대학박물관 교육프로그램의 사례 연구 -인제대학교박물관을 중심으로-

        Today educational function of college museum is receiving attention due to its various factors as social ․ individual desire, etc. College museum restricted beneficiary to the members within the college in the past, however recently many college museums are helping to improve quality of life of regional members by operating programs for regional residents. College museum is changing to lifelong education institute, and cultural art center. As five-day workweek for workers is implemented along with elementary ․ middle school's five-day week is implemented, viewpoint on cultural education to spent leisure time together with family is steadily increasing. Presently college museums are running various educational programs, e.g. exhibition link, experience link, etc. proper for their own characteristic. However, compared to this social demand, there are several problems in the reality of college museums. First, college museums need to develop education program based on the region and the characteristic of museum in order to intensify each other's characteristic. Second, compared to increasing educational program, all museums including college museums do not have enough special manpower. Training of experts for the professionalism of education is required. Third, through the cooperation with local community, college museums need to be used more easily. Fourth, financial support for stable operation of education and improvement of quality of education is necessary. Beneficiary of college museum education program is also regional residents. For the regional residents, the government and local government should spare no efforts to support financially. 오늘날 대학박물관의 교육적 기능이 사회적 ․ 개인적 욕구 등 여러 요인들에 의해 중요시 되고 있다. 대학박물관은 과거에 그 수혜자가 대학 내의 구성원들에게 국한되어 있었지만 최근에는 많은 대학박물관들이 지역민들을 위한 프로그램을 운영하여 지역 구성원들의 삶의 질을 향상 시키는데 도움을 주고 있다. 대학박물관은 평생교육기관으로, 그리고 문화예술센터로 변해가고 있다. 초 ․ 중등학교의 주5일제 수업과 함께 근로자의 주5일제 근무가 실시되면서 가족이 함께 여가를 보낼 수 있는 문화 교육에 대한 관점이 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 현재 대학박물관들은 각자의 특성에 맞게 전시 연계, 체험 연계 등 다양한 교육프로그램을 운영하고 있다. 그러나 이런 사회적 요구에 비해 대학박물관들이 가지는 현실에는 여러 문제점이 존재한다. 첫째, 대학박물관들은 각자의 특성을 강화하기 위해 지역 및 박물관의 성격에 기반을 둔 교육프로그램의 개발에 힘쓸 필요가 있다. 둘째, 늘어나는 교육프로그램에 비해 대학박물관뿐 아니라 모든 박물관에서는 현재 전문 인력이 많지 않다. 교육의 전문성을 위한 전문가의 양성이 요구된다. 셋째, 지역자치단체와의 협력을 통해 지역민들이 대학박물관을 좀 더 쉽게 이용할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 넷째, 교육의 안정적인 운영과 교육의 질 향상을 위한 재정 지원이 필요하다. 대학박물관의 교육프로그램의 수혜자 역시 지역주민들이다. 지역민을 위해서 정부나 지자체에서는 재정적인 지원을 아끼지 말아야 할 것이다.

        얼굴 표정에 나타난 정서의 인식과 메타인지적 모니터링

        얼굴 표정을 통한 정서 인식은 커뮤니케이션의 중요한 수단이 되기 때문에 이에 대한 다수의 연구가 진행되었다. 하지만, 대부분의 선행 연구는 자기 보고를 통한 정서 인식 여부에만 초점을 두었기 때문에 참가자가 정서를 정확히 인식 후 응답한 것인지 알기 어려웠다. 본 연구는 메타인지적 모니터링이란 개념을 적용하여 얼굴 표정에 나타난 정서 인식을 정밀하게 측정하고자 하였고, 부가적으로 얼굴 인식에 영향을 준다고 알려진 참가자 및 자극의 성별 변수가 정서 인식의 메타인지적 모니터링에 주는 영향을 살펴보았다. KDEF 얼굴 표정 자극집에서 Ekman의 기본정서 6가지에 해당하는 자극을 추출하였으며, 학습 및 검사 단계로 구성된 얼굴 표정 인식 과제를 실시하였다. 각 단계에서 인식 정확도와 확신 점수를 측정하였으며, 메타인지적 모니터링의 정확도를 계산하였다. 연구 결과, 메타인지적 모니터링에서 기본 정서 6가지에 따른 정확도의 차이가 나타났으며, 기쁨, 놀람, 중립 정서에서 정확도가 높은 반면, 두려움은 정확도가 상당히 낮았다. 본 연구는 얼굴 표정을 인식할 때 정서의 종류에 따라 나타나는 메타인지적 모니터링의 차이를 확인해 보았다는 의의가 있으며, 연구 결과는 대인 간 상호작용에서 중요한 요소인 정서인식의 정확도 향상을 위한 기초 자료로 사용될 수 있을 것이다. A plethora of studies about emotion recognition from facial expression have been conducted, which is an essential part for interpersonal communication. A main focus has been on the self-reported emotion recognition, so that it is unclear whether respondents really were aware of it. The present study was designed to answer this question by measuring metacognitive accuracy and additionally to find out there would differences by the gender of participants and that of stimulus faces. Stimulus faces of six basic emotions were extracted from the The Karolinska Directed Emotional Faces. An emotion recognition task was performed over two phases: learning and test phases, and participants’ recognition and metacognitive confidence were measured, which were used to calculate metacognitive accuracy. Significant differences by the type of emotions were observed in metacognitive accuracy with higher accuracy for happiness, surprise, and neutral and lower accuracy for fear. This study is meaningful in that an attempt was made to investigate metacognitive monitoring when recognizing emotion from facial expressions and to find out there would be, if any, differences by the type of emotions. Findings from this study can be used as a basis to improve emotion awareness.

        Immunogenicity of Exosomes from Dendritic Cells Stimulated with Toxoplasma gondii Lysates in Ocularly Immunized Mice

        Immunogenicity of dendritic cell-derived exosomes stimulated with Toxoplasma gondii lysates (TLA exo), mixed with cholera toxin as an adjuvant, was investigated in mice immunized via 2 mucosal routes (ocular vs intranasal). BALB/c mice were injected 3 times with TLA exo vaccine at 2 week interval, and the levels of IgG in serum and IgA in tear, saliva, feces, and vaginal wash were measured. To observe the expression of T. gondii-specific B1 gene, mice infected with ME49 T. gondii cysts were immunized with TLA exo or PBS exo (not stimulated with TLA), and their brain tissues were examined. The mice vaccinated via intranasal route elicited significantly higher humoral and mucosal immune responses compared with mice treated with PBS alone. Also, mice immunized via ocular route (by eyedrop) induced significantly higher T. gondii-specific IgG in serum and IgA in tear and feces in comparison with PBS controls. B1 gene expression was significantly lower in TLA exo vaccinated mice than in PBS or PBS exo vaccinated mice. These results demonstrated that ocular immunization of mice with TLA exo vaccine has the potential to stimulate systemic or local antibody responses. This study also highlighted an advantage of an eyedrop vaccine as an alternative for T. gondii intranasal vaccines.

        Neuroprotective Effect of Chronic Intracranial Toxoplasma gondii Infection in a Mouse Cerebral Ischemia Model

        Toxoplasma gondii is an obligate intracellular protozoan parasite that can invade various organs in the host body, including the central nervous system. Chronic intracranial T. gondii is known to be associated with neuroprotection against neurodegenerative diseases through interaction with host brain cells in various ways. The present study investigated the neuroprotective effects of chronic T. gondii infection in mice with cerebral ischemia experimentally produced by middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) surgery. The neurobehavioral effects of cerebral ischemia were assessed by measurement of Garcia score and Rotarod behavior tests. The volume of brain ischemia was measured by triphenyltetrazolium chloride staining. The expression levels of related genes and proteins were determined. After cerebral ischemia, corrected infarction volume was significantly reduced in T. gondii infected mice, and their neurobehavioral function was significantly better than that of the uninfection control group. Chronic T. gondii infection induced the expression of hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF-1α) in the brain before MCAO. T. gondii infection also increased the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor after the cerebral ischemia. It is suggested that chronic intracerebral infection of T. gondii may be a potential preconditioning strategy to reduce neural deficits associated with cerebral ischemia and induce brain ischemic tolerance through the regulation of HIF-1α expression.

        Standard- and large-sized eggs of Trichuris trichiura in the feces of schoolchildren in the Yangon Region, Myanmar: Morphological and molecular analyses

        Standard- and large-sized eggs of Trichuris trichiura were found in the feces of schoolchildren in Yangon, Myanmar during epidemiological surveys and mass deworming with albendazole in 2017-2019. The standard-sized eggs were identified as those of T. trichiura, but it was necessary to exclude the possibility of the large-sized eggs belonging to Trichuris vulpis, a dog whipworm. We conducted morphological and molecular studies to determine the species of the 2 types of Trichuris eggs. Individual eggs of both sizes were isolated from Kato-Katz fecal smears (n=20) and mechanically destroyed using a 23G injection needle. Nuclear DNA was extracted, and the 18S rRNA region was sequenced in 15 standard-sized eggs and 15 large-sized eggs. The average size of standard-sized eggs (T. trichiura) was 55.2×26.1 μm (range: 51.7-57.6×21.3-28.0 μm; n=97), whereas the size of large-sized eggs was 69.3×32.0 μm (range: 65.1-76.4×30.1-34.5 μm; n=20), slightly smaller than the known size of T. vulpis. Regarding standard-sized eggs, the 18S rRNA nucleotide sequences exhibited 100% homology with T. trichiura deposited in GenBank and 88.6-90.5% homology with T. vulpis. Regarding large-sized eggs, the nucleotide sequences showed 99.8-100% homology with T. trichiura in GenBank and 89.6- 90.7% homology with T. vulpis. Both standard- and large-sized eggs of Trichuris spp. found in Myanmar schoolchildren during 2017-2019 were morphologically and molecularly confirmed to belong to T. trichiura. The conversion of eggs from smaller to large sizes might be due to anthelmintic treatments with albendazole.

        청각장애 교사가 경험한 팬데믹 이후 학교에서의 변화와 지원요구 탐색

        본 연구는 코로나19 이후 청각장애 교사가 경험하고 있는 학교에서의 변화와 지원요구를 탐색하기 위해 실시되었다. 이를 위해, 특수학교에서 근무하는 청각장애 교사를 대상으로 서면 인터뷰 및 비대면 온라인 면담을 활용하여 질적 자료를 수집하였으며, 수집된 자료들을 지속적 비교분석법을 통해 의미 있는 코드로 세분화하는 과정을 거쳐 총 6개의 상위주제와 13개의 부주제로 분석되었다. 연구 결과, 코로나19 상황에서의 청각장애 교사의 경험과 지원에 대한 경험 및 요구라는 두 가지 주제로 정리되었으며, 청각장애 교사의 경험으로는 학생들을 만나는 교사로서의 경험과 함께 일하는 동료로서의 경험으로 나누어 분석되었고, 지원에 대한 경험 및 요구로는 의사소통 지원, 온라인수업 준비지원, 행정적 지원 등 세 가지의 하위범주로 나누어 결과들을 제시하였다. 이를 통해, 청각장애 교사의 의사소통 문제를 극복할 수 있는 방안과 온라인 기반의 수업을 운영하기 위해 필요한 지원, 실효성 있는 장애인 보조공학기기 지원에 대한 필요성을 언급하였고, 이와 더불어 보조인력의 체계적인 운영에 대해 논의하였다. This study was conducted to examine the experiences of teachers of the deaf in special needs schools and the support they require in context of the COVID-19 pandemic. To achieve this objective, qualitative data was collected through written interviews and online interviews of the teachers, and analyzed into seven top-level topics and eleven sub-topics through a process of subdivision into meaningful codes using a constant comparison method. The findings were organized into the two main themes of “experience” and “needs for support” in terms of the teachers’ experiences and the support they require caused by the COVID-19 situation. For the theme of experience, the interactions of meeting students as a teacher and of working with colleagues were analyzed; under the theme of support requests, the results were presented in three subcategories of communication support, support for online class preparation, and other administrative support. Based on the findings, this study suggests the need for measures to help overcome communication problems encountered by teachers of the deaf and provide support to run quality online classes as well as support for more effective assistive technology devices for these groups. Additionally, the study reveals the need for the systematic management of support personnel.
