        1920년대 東西文化論戰과 '格義'의 문제 - 梁漱溟의 東西文化論을 중심으로

        This article examined the east and west civilization dispute that was effected for May Fourth Era(五四時代) in modern China at a point of view of a language ideology again. And the civilization dispute had been advanced from "中體西用" of 淸末 to "西體中用" of Li Ze-hou(李澤厚) in modern China. As French thinkers pointed it out, the civilization dispute of China was tinged with strong political character, and a language(discourse) did an important duty at the back side of such a political character. The east and west civilization dispute was structured by a language and clarified Chinese modernity ideology. In this article I made clear such a language ideology that appeared in east and west civilization dispute in May Fourth Era. And I was able to examine a thought of Liang Shu Ming(梁漱溟) in the intellectual who made an effort to get over a civilization discussion of a dual source by a Chinese modernization process again. His ≪東四文化及其哲學≫ is a thing as a result of such effort. "Thinking of Oppose and Wait(對待的思維)" of ≪the Book of Changes(周易)≫ and "Buddhist revelation" of Buddhism(仏敎) which emerged in his thought is rightly his effort that wants not to be restricted by a language ideology.

        동북아해역에서 근대학술 성립의 양상 ― 일본 중국학의 탄생과 현재

        동북아해역에서는 근대 이전에도 문화적 교류가 빈번하여 중국의 전통학문인 한학이 한반도와 일본에 수용되었다. 도쿠가와 막부시절 일본에 본격적으로 소개된 주자학은 조선과 중국본토를 통해서 들어와 짧은 시간에 큰 성장을 이루었고, 또 난학으로 대표되는 서양학문도 수용되었다. 이후 메이지시대를 맞이한 일본은 국민국가의 이데올로기로서 국학을 필요로 했고, 이 국학의 탄생과정에 서학과 한학이 길항하게 되었다. 근대 학문으로서 국학을 정립하려 했던 일본 지식인들은 근대 이전에 수용한 한학과 어떤 관계를 설정해야하며 또 어떤 내용을 담아야할 것인가에 대한 고민에 놓이게 된다. 이것은 근대 학문으로서 일본에 중국학을 정립 하는 문제와 연결되었고, 이 과정에서 서구의 시놀로지를 참조하게 되었다. 본 논문은 이러한 일본 중국학의 성립과정을 역사적으로 점검하고 현재 일본에서 중국학은 무엇을 지향하고 있는지 살펴보았다. 이는 우리의 향후 중국학에 대한 전망에 시사점을 줄 것으로 기대한다. Since the modern era, material and human exchanges have begun to be frequent in the Northeast Asian sea region. Of course, before the modern era, there was no exchange through the sea. From an academic standpoint, it is one of these cultural exchanges that Chinese traditional scholarship, Hangaku(漢學), is embraced on the Korean Peninsula and Japan. In the Tokugawa shogunate, the doctrines[teachings] of Chu-tzu introduced in earnest in Japan came in through the Joseon and mainland China and grew rapidly in a short period of time. It was also accepted that the Western studies represented by Rangaku(蘭學). In this situation, Japan, which faced the Meiji era, needed Kokugaku(國學) as an ideology of the nation state. In the process of the birth of this Kokugaku, the Western studies and Hangaku became antagonistic. The Japanese intellectuals who tried to establish a Kokugaku as a modern scholarship are in a worry about what kind of relationship should be established with what Hangaku had accepted before modern times and what contents should be included. This was connected with the problem of establishing Chinese studies in Japan as a modern discipline, and in this process, it came to refer to Western Synology. Japanese Chinese Studies was born in this process, and it is reaching to the present. This paper examines the historical process of the formation of Japanese Chinese studies and examines what Chinese studies are aiming at in Japan at present. This is expected to give some implications for our future Chinese studies.

        A Practical RTP Packetization Scheme for SVC Video Transport over IP Networks

        Scalable video coding (SVC) has been standardized as an extension of the H.264/AVC standard. This paper proposes a practical real-time transport protocol (RTP) packetization scheme to transport SVC video over IP networks. In combined scalability of SVC, a coded picture of a base or scalable enhancement layer is produced as one or more video layers consisting of network abstraction layer (NAL) units. The SVC NAL unit header contains a (DID, TID, QID) field to identify the association of each SVC NAL unit with its scalable enhancement layer without parsing the payload part of the SVC NAL unit. In this paper, we utilize the (DID, TID, QID) information to derive hierarchical spatio-temporal relationship of the SVC NAL units. Based on the derivation using the (DID, TID, QID) field, we propose a practical RTP packetization scheme for generating single RTP sessions in unicast and multicast transport of SVC video. The experimental results indicate that the proposed packetization scheme can be efficiently applied to transport SVC video over IP networks with little induced delay, jitter, and computational load.

        淸末民初 지식인의 인지적 지도그리기 ― 章太炎의 ‘전통’으로 ‘근대’ 읽기

        This paper is the research that modern Chinese intellectual Zhang-taiyan(章太炎) interpreted modernity by Chinese traditional ideas. Especially through study his unique thinking about the western modernity, we basically would like to reflect paradigm of western modernity. The concept is cognitive mapping that this essay used for this study. Cognitive mapping is that observe cognition for world on form of cognition. If we investigate Zhang-taiyan(章太炎)'s unique thinking by cognitive mapping, understand his thinking well. Futher more bring about change of our cognition to concentrate on paradigm of the western modernity. This usually lead to the new methodology to interpret modernity, that is just eastern ideas. If rethink modernity by eastern ideas, will get to the position of new cognition beyond understanding for modernity in the past. In this point, this essay would like to find a clue of cognition through Zhang-taiyan(章太炎)'s unique thinking. Especially the method that he used in interpreting modernity is Chinese traditional ideas such as Buddhism and Taoism. This essay explained the way that he interpret Chinese modernity and western modernity through Chinese traditional ideas, that we contribute to the theory of postmodern is developing in various form now.
