        플라즈마 촉매 흡착 복합공정에 의한 악취물질의 제거 Removal of odor by plasma hybrid process 환경공학과 김 종 범 지 도 교 수 최 금 찬 현대사회는 사람들의 생활환경과 의식 수준이 향상됨에 따라 악취에 대한 관심도 또한 높아지고 있다. 악취는 감각오염의 한 형태로 발생물질의 종류와 배출원이 다양하고 여러 물질이 복합적으로 작용한다. 또한, 생활환경과 사람들의 심리 상태에 따라서 오염도에 대한 인식이 달라지는 특성이 있어 다른 대기오염물질과 달리 효과적으로 발생원을 관리하고 저감대책을 수립하는데 어려움이 있다. 기존의 악취물질 처리는 효율이 낮고, 불용성인 경우에 그 처리가 힘들다는 문제점이 있다. 플라즈마 공정을 이용한 복합기술은 저비용과 높은 처리효율을 가진 장점이 있으며 유해가스 및 악취 등에 대한 우수한 처리방법으로 평가되고 있다. 그러나 플라즈마 공정만을 이용한 처리는 2차 오염물질의 유발 등 단점으로 인해 사용상 제한이 있으며, 이를 보안하기 위해서는 촉매 등을 이용하는 복합 처리방식의 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 플라즈마와 촉매에 의한 악취물질 처리를 목적으로 플라즈마 단독 공정과 플라즈마 촉매 복합공정에 의한 ammonia, formaldehyde, dimethyl sulfide의 처리 가능성에 대한 고찰을 시도하였으며, 플라즈마 공정에서 2차 부산물의 처리와 처리 효율 향상을 위한 촉매 흡착공정의 적용가능성 및 악취물질 제어를 위한 플라즈마 단독 및 복합공정의 적용가능성을 검토하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 플라즈마 단독공정에 의한 ammonia 처리 실험에서 최종 77%의 처리 효율을 보였고, 플라즈마 촉매 복합공정에 의한 처리 실험에서 ammonia 처리 실험에서 최종 93%의 처리 효율을 보인다. 플라즈마 단독공정일 때 보다 플라즈마 촉매 복합공정에서 처리효율이 높게 나타난 이유는 플라즈마 단독공정에서 미 분해된 ammonia가 규조토에 흡착되어 처리 효율이 높아 진 것으로 파악된다. Formaldehyde의 처리 실험에서 플라즈마 단독공정의 경우 20분 경과 후 100%의 처리효율을 확인할 수 있었고, 플라즈마 촉매 복합공정의 경우 10분 경과 후 100%의 처리 효율을 보인다. 플라즈마 단독 공정일 때 보다 촉매 복합공정일 때 처리 시간이 짧아진 것을 확인 할 수 있다. Dimethylsulfide의 처리 실험에서 플라즈마 단독공정의 경우 최종 99.5%의 처리 효율을 보이고, 플라즈마 촉매 복합공정에서의 처리 효율은 최종 99.9%의 처리 효율을 나타낸다. 플라즈마 단독공정일 때 보다 플라즈마 촉매 복합공정에서 처리효율이 높고, 처리 시간이 짧아진 이유는 플라즈마 단독공정으로 악취물질이 분해되고 미 분해된 악취물질이 규조토에 흡착되어 처리 효율이 높고, 처리시간이 짧아 진 것으로 파악된다. 주요어: 플라즈마, 촉매, 규조토, 암모니아, 포름알데히드, 디메틸설파이드

      • Brevundimonas vesicularis가 생산하는 Carotenoids에 관한 연구

        The carotenoids, known as the most important pro-vitamin A, play important roles as singlet oxygen quencher against photosensitization and skin tumors. Furthermore carotenoids are used in animal feed to restore the bird's color and to improve the fertility of livestock like dairy cow. In order to produce carotenoids for industrial and medical use a microorganism producing carotenoids was isolated from the soil and identified as Brevundimonas vesicularis. The yield of carotenoids production was 111.1 ㎎/ℓ when the bacterium was cultured at 30℃ for 24hr in the medium composed of 0.1% of MgS0_4, 1.0% tryptone, O.1% arabinose and 1.0μM biotin(pH 6), shaked 200rpm on the 1:IO volume ratio of medium to flask. The carotenoids produced by Brevundimonas vesicularis showed 5 different bands on thin layer chromatogram. The main components were identified as β-carotene and zeaxanthin. The free radical scavenging activity(60.5% at 200 ㎍/㎖) and the antioxidative activity(48.6% at 500㎍/㎖) of the carotenoids were both high. The carotenoids, when added in media, lowered the death rate of E. coli by UV and H_20_2. The carotenoids showed no cytotoxic effect to spleen cell of BALB/C mouse. So the carotenoids produced by Brevundimonas vesicularis were found to be effective as singlet oxygen quencher and suitable for industrial production.

      • 아파트 브랜드의 포지셔닝에 대한 소비자 인식에 관한 연구

        This study is to provide effective positioning strategics of apartment brands in the apartment market, whether the brand communication strategics are accepted considerably or quite differently to customers. I surveyed with the fallowing subjects to accomplish purpose of study, First, to measure cognitions of consumers of each halo-effect and company image, I measured the preception of customers of each company. Second, I measured cognition of consumers through 12 kinds of adjectives which shows each company's image of apartment brands. Third, I measured preference of consumers about brand. Therefore, the results of this survey are First, There appeared to be meaningful differences in result of recognition of consumers Unlike our primary factor in selecting brands, the companies are ranked in this order; SAMSUNG, LG, DAELIM, DAEWOO because LG shows good images to 20's to 30's. Second, the meaning difference occurred between the brand strategics of company and the process of communication in customers cognition, emphasized the importance of brand image, and establishing exact brand positioning. Third, to establish apartment brand about identification and preference of customers, brands and companies, we have to make coherent and be unified brand strategics with communication. Fourth, This result about analysis of apartment brand base on image positioning may use to set up marketing communication strategy to make specific brand image. The demand of apartment will increase because over half of the people live in apartment in the domestic apartment market. According to this point, we need to continue study of apartment brand systematically.

        Since the last years relationship marketing has been introduced within service marketing area more efficient, profitable and long-tern marketing can be achieved by focusing on present customers instead of concentrating on attracting new ones. The purpose of this study is to offer a general background of relationship marketing which has been developed as an alternative way of handling marketing in Department store during the last years. The traditional marketing paradigm .had not been able to provide us with an understanding concerning reciprocal interaction between the service providers and customers and network approach within marketing is based on the assumption that long-term relationships are basis for firms wanting to satisfy their customers and manage prosperous business in the long run. As the weaknesses of the traditional approach become apparent, new concept of relationship marketing is employing a strategic perspective intended to develop Customer commitment in a way that can not easily be duplicated by other competitors. The department store has become more interested in developing loyal customers through relationship marketing, in recent years but that initiative has progressed advanced only by fits and starts. This study of relationship marketing focuses on furture performances- a relationship marketing activities built on relationship quality between the customer and department store. In this study, I have explored theoretical background to accomplish the research objectives by reviewing the related previous researches. I have established the hypotheses to answer the research questions. To test them empirically, I collected 236 questionnaires from the customers residing in Kwang-Ju. I have also examined the validity and reliability of variables and found them to be very satisfactory. In order to evaluate the influence I have conducted LISREL. The results of conducting LISREL shows that the appropriateness of the model study is very satisfactory: accordingly, the model seems to be useful in the relationship marketing, Relation quality and loyalty in department store. I wish to suggest the following: First, It is necessary for all the service providers to recognize that what they are assigned to do is offering services. The competition in department store is not confined to the additional service goods, but can attain the superiority through the communication with customers. Second, It is necessary to pay more attention to the circumstances in which the department store do the services. It should be kept in mind that the customers coming into department store are not the passive ones who lacks of critical opinions on the services they come to get. Therefore, when the department store offers its services it is necessary fot it to concern greatly about the customer's comfort and convenience as a top priority to make it real the department store is always actively trying to provide high quality services for its customer through mailing services, advertisements, All of the activities are closely related not only with customer satisfaction with the department store service, but also with the information by word of mouth, thus making it possible to form a friendly bound between the department store and its customers. Therefore, It's crucial to come up with an astute marketing strategy to meet the customer's needs and wants properly. In this study I have suggested a model of research without taking into account all the variables in close connection with the complicated relations between the department employees and their customer. Although all research materials employed in the questionnaire are the ones exploited by the author himself, I hope that they are reliable and appropriate as well. Finally, it is my sincere desire that the follow-up studies in this field of study will be made to overcome the limitations I have faced in this research.

      • 수직 균열이 존재하는 구조물의 변형에 대한 유한요소해석

        유한요소해석을 위한 구조물은 위층이 아연(zinc)이고 아래층이 강철(steel)인 이종접합재료 평판이다. 구조물의 접합부분은 완전히 붙어있어 재료의 층간 분리(delamination) 현상이 일어나지 않는다고 가정하였고, 이 가정을 위하여 층간 분리가 되지 않는 하중을 가하였다. 구조물의 아래층은 반무한체로 가정하였고 위층은 상대적으로 얇게 모델링하였다. 표면 균열의 깊이와 폭에 변화를 가하면서 균열 부위의 변형을 유한요소법을 이용하여 계산하였다. 그리고 균열 부위 변형의 수학적 해석해와 유한요소해석결과를 비교하여 유한요소해석 결과의 타당성을 보였다. Yoo와 Choi의 수학적 해석해는 균열이 발생한 층을 강체위의 Timoshenko 보(beam)로 가정하여 보 이론에 의한 중심선의 수직변형과 회전각과의 관계함수를 구하고, 전단력을 고려하여 중심선의 수직변형과 회전각과의 관계함수를 구한다. 그리고 두 방정식을 연립하여 회전각의 함수만으로 방정식을 유도한다. 경계조건을 고려하여 회전각의 함수를 구한다. 이 회전각의 함수로부터 수직 변형량을 구하였다. 또한 회전각 함수로부터 수직접촉응력() 및 수평접촉응력()을 정의하고 이 접촉응력으로 인하여 발생하는 수직 변형량을 계산하였다. 이 접촉응력은 half-space인 경우와 full-space인 경우 각각에 대하여 수직변형을 일으키며 각각의 변형량과 강체위의 보에 대한 수직변형량과의 합으로 half-space와 full-space의 전체 수직변형량을 구하였다. The structure applied for Finite Element Analysis is composed of two materials joining flat plate with the zinc as an upper plate and the steel as a lower plate. As the united parts in the structure are completely adhere to another plate, it is assumed that the delamination between plates didn't happen. And satisfying this assumption the stress which can't bring about the delamination is applied in the study. The lower part of the structure is considered as a semi-infinite solid, and the upper part is modeled for relatively thin plate. As the depth and width of a surface crevice and the thickness variation of the upper part, the delamination around a crevice is calculated by Finite Element Analysis. Also, through comparing between the analytical solution of the deformation around a crevice and the result by Finite Element Analysis, the validity of the latter was shown. The analytical solution by Yoo and Choi was obtained by the relation between the vertical deformation and the rotational angle under a supposition that the plate with the crevice is regarded as the Timoshenko beam on a rigid body and the relation function with the vertical deformation and the rotational angle in which the shear stress was considered. And an equation which consists of function for the rotation angle was derived by two simultaneous equations above. The function for the rotational angle was derived by applying the boundary condition. Vertical deformation is obtained by this function. Also, vertical contact stress and horizontal contact stress were defined with this function, and the vertical deformation occurred by the contact stress was calculated by this function. The contact stress caused the vertical deformation for half-space and full-space respectively, and the total deformation of half-space and full-space was found out by the summation of each deformation and vertical deformation for the beam on the rigid body.

        There is a close relationship between the management of promotion and the satisfaction of self - actualization in the field of man power - administration. As we have a special situation which has come from the way of Confucian thinking,the employees are interested in bureaucracy and long for promotion in their firm. Nowadays they tend to get a job for having a chance for promotion rather than for salary. In spite of the importance in the management of promotion,it is even more difficult to manage the advancement by the limitation in the process of estimaing and choosing appropriate persons as well as by complicated conditions - the present situations of supply and demand of enterprises in man power, tradition and natural features of the system, the different view of valuation about criteria of promotion, and so on. Consequently it is required to establish systematically and to operate efficiently the management of promotion which is to meet employees' satisfaction and conditions of administration by trying to improve for a long time. Premised on these facts I enumerate lots of items relevant to promotion administrated in KEPCO until now and show you what could be moderately administrated with a discerning eye in the future. I summarize and list methods to manage promotion in KEPCO as the followings. First, we should coordinate with the priority between one's merits and capabilities when instituting criteria in that system - the management of the promotion, In other words, it is a question to establish good views about the criteria in the promotion. In case of KEPCO, there must be a importance on one's abilities in working step by step meeting the needs of the times of the policy in human power. The higher rank of the promotion is the more the factors of abilities apply for gradually. Second, Being introduced CDP - that establishes the route to advance, we need to plan institutionalization for the opportunity of growth and promotion about the employees. Especially for the sake of this it will assume the autonomy in the organization and management part. Third, we have to develop the optimum man power - model to keep the management range in each rank and to enforce the plan for supply and demand man power. If not, there will be only a vicious circle of the chance for the promotion. Fourth, in order to confront with the change of enterprize - conditions flexibly,the enormous organization and scale of KEPCO, and the variety of the personnal situations and departments, we should continue to make a study on ways of decentralization. Fifth, it may be limits in development of system which consists on merits of working, rates in one's record. hey are kinds of factors evaluated to the promotion, we need to go over plans like. Assessment Center System,or Screening System and to do our best to establishing justice - programs. Sixth, the factors of evaluation will have to improve with a dependence. for example at the present time most of employees are evaluated by the results in working as a kind of criteria for the promotion. Also not only those of the promotion maintain with a independence but also members of organization require to change the way they do. That is to say if the system is barely perfect it is too hard to stand in midway about managing the evaluation system, without not agreeing or understanding by the constituent members. Besides we have known that the stagnation of the promotion is the basic problem related to be rationalization to the management of the promotion. So it needs that reconizing a counter measure for that system requires and members about a target of a stagnation in the promotion is in a position. Such a point of view we must research introducing the lowest age limit to the promotion and a demerit mark system about assign - period excessor. So far I suggest that lots of problems and proving devices, but they might be partly an aspect of theory as you see. I hope the policy of the promotion can continue to study and preserve without interruption into the desirable direction that is based on grouping for rationalization in the management of the promotion in the long-range plan.

      • 노인요양병원의 피난안전성능 평가에 관한 연구

        With our nation developing from an aging society to a more advanced aging society, there exists the most fragile subject when coming to the topic of fire evacuation- Aged care hospital. With support for the aged and rich leisure life as a solution, the safety improvement within the facilities is becoming an issue to be rapidly solved by the society. The Aged care hospital is used by the aged suffering from mental and physical disabilities, so considering their physical characteristics and condition, there should be a co-ordinated evacuation plan in cases of emergencies such as fire. The aged care hospital is principally disadvantaged in evacuations, with most facility users suffering from serious dementia and stroke, due to the fact that most of the aged cannot use their own strength to move, and it is very difficult to evacuate every person as each patient has different moving conditions (beds, wheelchairs, moving support). The number of night-shift workers are especially less than compared to day-shift workers, meaning that, in case of fire during the night it will become difficult to correspond with the evacuation plan. Also, according to the management, entering and exiting is controlled, and with most openings having iron bars, the efficiency of openings is very low. Considering these matters, evacuation simulation was used as one of the planning method for efficiency performance, and estimated the time evacuating the aged care hospital. In addition, a number of conditions, evacuation-related legislations and researches on the aged care hospital was examined, by visiting the scene the ground plan, number of beds, conditions of patient uses and other information were gathered and put into Simulex, an evacuation program, to estimate the evacuation time. During examination and conclusion stage of this study, some errors were found. 1. Our nation’s aged care hospital do not have any standard strategies planned in cases of fire and evacuations, for every patients’ different method of evacuation. 2. Our nation has no distinctive evacuation regulations prepared, depending on the patient’s actions. The ‘patient-use’ elevator is mainly used to lead to safety, but in case of fire there may be casualties if people become trapped in the elevators, so there should be a demand for a different strategy. 3. Our nation’s aged care hospital, according to the construction-related legislations, have no regulations about the establishment of ramps. 4. There are no basic indication towards a safe evacuation for the aged, so it is a worry that there may be a possibility of increase in evacuating action restrictions and casualties. 5. For these concerns, there is a demand for the following improvement ideas. 1) There should be no establishments of ramps at the hospital within the construction-related regulation, for more evacuation ways of aged patients using wheelchairs and beds which should the ramps be reflected upon. 2) In order to evacuate on a levelled ground, there should be two fireproof evacuation areas on each level. 3) Through many research investigations, there should be a demand of separate preparations depending on day and night shift workers. 4) With repeated evacuation scenario education, the workers of the aged care hospital should devise patient’s evacuation and rapid evacuation actions in case of emergency. 5) Patients with fast movement speed should be put onto the upper floor, and patients with more restricted movement should be repositioned on the lower floor. 앞으로 우리나라는 고령사회에서 초고령화 사회로 접어들게 되면서 의료시설의 증가가 예상되며 그 중에서도 가장 피난에 취약한 노인요양병원인 소방대상물이 있다. 노인 부양 및 풍요로운 여가생활 해결과 함께 노인요양병원에 대한 안전 확보가 신속히 해결해야 할 사회적 과제로 부상되고 있다. 노인요양병원은 인지 및 행동장애를 갖고 있는 노인들이 이용하는 의료시설로 화재 등과 같은 비상 상황에서는 노인의 행동 특성과 신체 상태를 고려한 종합적인 피난계획의 수립이 요구된다. 노인요양병원에서 피난이 상대적으로 열악한 이유는 시설 이용자의 대부분이 중증의 치매 및 뇌졸중을 앓고 있는 환자이기 때문에 자력으로 피난이 곤란하며 환자의 보행상태(침대, 휠체어, 각종 보조기구 등)에 따라 피난시간이 천차만별로 이용자 전원을 피난시키는 것이 어렵기 때문이다. 특히 근무인원은 주간보다는 야간에 적고 야간에 화재 등 피난이 필요한 경우 대응이 어렵다. 또한 관리상 노인들의 외부출입을 통제하고 대부분의 개구부는 창살 등으로 조치되어 개구부의 효과가 낮아진다. 이런 사항을 감안하여 성능위주의 설계방법 중 하나인 피난 시뮬레이션을 적용하여 노인요양병원의 피난시간을 예측하였다. 또한, 노인요양병원에 대한 여러 사항과 피난관련 법규 및 연구논문들을 검토하고, 현장을 방문하여 건축평면도, 병상 수, 환자 이용 상태 등 자료를 수집하여 피난 프로그램인 Simulex의 입력 자료로 사용하여 피난시간을 측정하였다. 이 연구의 검토과정 및 결과에서 몇 가지 문제되는 사항을 발견할 수 있었다. 1. 우리나라는 노인요양병원에서 환자의 피난형태에 따른 별도의 화재 및 피난 기준 설정이 없다. 2. 우리나라는 노인 환자 행동에 따른 피난특성 규정이 마련되어 있지 않다. 주로 환자용 엘리베이터를 사용하여 피난층으로의 피난을 유도하나 화재가 발생할 경우 엘리베이터에 갇혀 인명피해가 발생하므로 별도의 피난 조치를 강구해야 한다. 3. 우리나라 노인요양병원은 건축 관계법령에서 경사로 설치에 대한 의무 규정이 없다. 4. 노인 환자의 안전한 피난성 확보를 위한 기준이 제시되지 않아 많은 재실자의 피난 활동에 제약이 있고 대형 인명피해의 확대가 우려된다. 5. 이런 문제점을 해결하기 위한 기본지침을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 1) 건축법령에는 노인요양병원에 경사로 설치 의무규정이 없으므로 휠체어, 침대를 이용한 노인환자의 피난로 확보를 위한 경사로 설치가 반영되어야 한다. 2) 수평으로의 피난 안전성을 확보하기 위해 층별로 2개의 방화구획이 피난안전구역으로 선정되어야 한다. 3) 주간보호 및 야간보호에 따른 별도의 기준이 마련이 제시되어야 한다. 4) 노인요양병원 관계인들의 규칙적이고 반복적인 피난시나리오 교육을 통하여 피난시 환자의 대피 및 신속한 피난활동이 도모되어야 한다. 5) 보행속도가 빠른 환자는 상층으로, 느린 환자는 저층으로 재배치되어야 한다.
