우리나라는 급속하게 고령사회로 편입되면서 노인 우울이 심각한 사회문제가 되고 있다. 노인 우울은 치매 가능성과 사망률 증가에 영향을 미치므로 조기 진단과 다양한 처방이 시급하다고 할 수 있다. 우울증은 정상인에 비해 긍정 정서는 짧게, 부정 정서는 더 강하게 오랫동안 경험함으로써 회복탄력성이 낮아진다(Henriques & Davidson, 1991; Davidson, 2000). 긍정 및 부정 정서는 각각 좌뇌의 접근적 행동 성향(BAS)과 우뇌의 회피적 행동 성향(BIS)과 연관되는데, 우울증에서는 좌뇌 비활성 혹은 우뇌 과활성이 나타날 수 있다(Davidson, Jackson, & Kalin, 2000). 좌뇌 활성인 사람들은 동일한 중재법이라도 더 큰 효과를 보이는데, 이는 긍정적이며 적극적인 태도 때문일 수 있다(김은미, 2013). 전두엽 알파 비대칭은 우울증과 정상인의 차이를 보여주는 상태 (trait) 지표일 가능성이 제시되어 왔다(최승원, 제갈은주, 안창일, 2008; Stewart, Bismark, Towers, et al., 2010). 우울증의 다양한 하위 증상이 각 주파수 대역 비대칭과 연관될 수 있으므로, 알파 비대칭 이외에도 베타 비대칭 또는 세타 비대칭과 우울증간의 관련성에 대한 가능성도 제시되고 있다(정규희, 이준석, 이장한, 2008). 본 연구에서는 임상적 우울증 환자가 아닌 일반 노인의 우울 수준과 전전두엽 알파 비대칭 및 베타 이어느 정도 관련이 있는지 분석해 보고자 한다.

재미 이민자의 문화적응과 행복감에 영향을 미치는 요인 - 언어능력의 매개효과 -

The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between acculturation and influence of linguistic aspects as a factor influencing the happiness of immigrants in the eastern US.. The participants were immigrants who formed part of the Korean community in New York, US. These were 190 adults ranging in age from their 30s to their 80s who immigrated at various times. SPSS 23.0, and PROCESS Macro were used for data analysis. According to the correlation analysis results, there was a positive correlation between subjective language ability and happiness. Additionally, when examining the correlation between the independent variable and subjective language ability according to acculturation, separation was not significant, while relationship with assimilation, and marginalization was positively significant. As a result of verifying the effect on happiness through mediation of subjective language ability according to the type of acculturation, the indirect effect was statically significant in the type of assimilation, which was the independent variable. A higher level of assimilation, the higher the subjective evaluation of their language ability and the higher the level of happiness.

신례천은 제주도의 다른 하천처럼 건천이면서 천연보호구역으로 지정되어 있어 개발행위가 제한된 하천이다. 신례천 해발 500m에서부터 해안까지 2019년 7월부터 2020년 6월까지 매월 1회, 8개 지점에서 조류 출현 현황을 조사하였다. 이번 조사에서 50종 2866개체가 확인되었고 대부분 산새였다. 텃새와 여름철새가 70%정도 차지하였다. 조사지점2에서 가장 많은 종수가, 조사지점 8에서 가장 많은 개체수가 확인되었다. 군집분석에서 종다양도는 조사지점2에서 가장 높았고 균등도는 조사지점4, 종풍부도에서는 조사지점2, 그리고 우점도는 조사지점5에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 유사도지수를 살펴보면, 조사지점4와 조사지점6이 가장 지수값이 컸으며 조사지점2와 조사지점8이 가장 지수값이 작게 나타났다. 신례천은 산새의 서식지로서 중요하기 때문에 사람 출입이나 쓰레기 투기같은 행위가 지속된다면 서식 방해로 이어질 수 있어 이에 대한 단속 및 관리가 필요하다.

존 스튜어트 밀(J. S. Mill)의 관용론 - 도박, 음주 문제를 중심으로 -

이 글의 목적은 존 스튜어트 밀(J. S. Mill, 1806~1873)의 자유론(On Liberty, 1859)에 등장하는 관용론을 체계적으로 정리하는 데 있다. 우리는 누구나 자신의 사상을 자유롭게 표현하고 자신이 계획대로자신의 삶을 구성해 나갈 자유가 있다. 하지만 사회적 간섭은 그러한 개인의 자유로운 삶에 제한을 가한다. 개인의 자발적인 삶에 대한 사회적 간섭은 어느 정도까지 허용될 수 있는가? 밀은 인간 행위를자기와 관계된 행위와 타자와 관계된 행위 그리고 타자와 관계된 행위에서 사회가 정당하게 간섭할 수있는 한계 설정을 위해 ‘위해의 원리’를 제시한다. 다시 말해, 밀은 타자의 권리를 침해하는 행위에 대해 최소한의 사회적 간섭이 정당화될 수 있음을 주장한다. 하지만 타자와 관계된 인간의 행위에는 사회간섭이 모호한 경우들도 있다. 이렇게 사회적 간섭이 용인되기 어려운 부분에 관용의 여지가 생긴다. 밀의 관용론의 진정한 의미를 조망하기 위해 이 글은 도박, 음주 문제를 중심으로 관용의 의미를 심도있게 다룬다.

International Political Economy on the GATT/WTO dispute participation : US dispute initiation

This study investigates how the US government makes decision for filing complaint to GATT/WTO based on the four international political economic theories of Frieden and Lake (2009). To do that this study use regression analysis, applying it to 20152 pooling data (four-digit SIC industries in the manufacturing sector) for the years 1948 through 2006. This study generate a previously unused dependent variable, Propensity to File Complaint (PFC) which is measured by the number of consultation requested by the US, with independent variable that represent each theoretical perspective. The empirical findings indicate that the “domestic institutional perspective” and “domestic political perspective” dominate the analysis. Specifically partisan control of the executive and size and the level of organization of interest groups appear highly relevant for understanding US dispute participation decision.

국제 제품 전략과 수출 성과: 혁신 역량의 조절 효과를 중심으로

This study employs the resource-based view and the organizational learning perspective to understand how cost leadership and differentiation strategies influence on export performance and the distinctive roles of innovation capabilities on these links between international product strategies and export performance relatively. Using survey data from 216 Korean exporting firms, the findings indicate that cost leadership and differentiation strategies enhance export performance. Moreover, while exploitative innovation capability strengthens the relationship between cost leadership strategy and export performance, exploratory innovation capability enhances the link between differentiation strategy and export performance. This study suggests theoretical background for strategic fits between international product strategy and innovation capability to enhance export performance. Furthermore, the findings underscore needs for managers to invest in a certain type of international product strategy to ensure the development of innovation capability differently.
