Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the clinical application of Rocking forward, Rocking backward Exercise and MET(Muscle Energy Techniques) to three patients who had sway-back posture. Methods : Three patients diagnosed as sway-back posture, not have discogetic pain, were hospitalized Bu-Chun Jaseng hospital of Oriental Medicine about 20 days and they were treated by Rocking forward, Rocking backward Exercise and MET. To measure the outcome of the patients' improvement, we observed the X-ray of Whole spine and Numerical Rating Scale(NRS). Results : After being treated by Rocking forward, Rocking backward Exercise and MET, the patients' posture was significantly improved and the pain was reduced. The X-ray of Whole spine became almost normal and the improvement of patients' in the NRS score was detected. Conclusions : These results suggest that Rocking forward, Rocking backward Exercise and MET were effective treatment on patients who had sway-back posture.

The purpose of this study was to compare difference of the static and dynamic balance in normal subject and LBP subject and recognizes about postural sway. The subjects of this study included 30 normal subjects and 30 LBP subjects. By using Active balance system, the static balance was measured by unit path length, circumference area, weight bearing, stabilometry length, while the dynamic balance was measured by step evaluation. Statistically analyzed using independent t-test to search static balance and dynamic balance difference in two groups. Postural sway appeared greatly in patient group than normal group in analysis result of static balance and postural sway was big in patient group of when closed eye and normal group and patient group did show statistical significance in unit path length, circumference area. Weight support of normal group was shared equally in weight bearing rate, but weight support of patient group stewed less to pain side. Anterior step time and Task achieve time of dynamic balance were spent more in patient group than normal group. Desire to be used to useful information to lay treatment policy about set-up and action of when quantification result of valued postural balance treats low back pain patient by objective tool, in the fixture, more researches in postural estimation desire that is enforced abuzz.

ObjectivesThe purpose of this study is analyzing internal research trends of abnormal postures and providing problems of researches forward.Methods6 Korean databases were searched for articles of abnormal postures, irre-spective of publication year and 30 research were systematically reviewed. An analytical method such as descriptive statistics and an acutal number and percentage was used.ResultsWe collected 30 studies. 16 studies were published within the last four years. 2012 saw 7 studies, the highest number of studies. Clinical research is the major research method. 26 studies were clinical research. The studies can be categorized according to the characteristic of the research content such as research of related factors or physical characteristics, research of treatment or programs, etc. 16 studies were about research of treatment or programs, the most number of studies. 11 studies were about research of re-lated factors or physical characteristics, and 3 studies were about other issues.ConclusionsSince the connection among postural abnormality, pain, and muscu-loskeletal system disorder has been raising, it is important to conduct a continued, me-thodical study. The goal of our work was to develop a treatment system for restoring proprioception in patients experiencing low back pain and those who experience falls. For this purpose, we investigated postural sway during local vibratory stimulation in elderly people in the standing position by using our newly developed variable frequency vibratory stimulation device and a gravicorder. Vibratory stimulations of 30, 60, 150, or 240 Hz were applied to the patients’ lumbar multifidus (LM) or gastrocnemius soleus muscles (GM). These frequencies were determined from eigen response frequencies for proprioception. The eigen response frequencies for the Meissner corpuscle, muscle spindle, and the Vater-Pacini corpuscles were 30, 60, and 240 Hz, respectively. The relative proprioceptive weighting ratios at 30 and 240 Hz were significantly different between elderly patients with and those without low back pain. On the other hand, the relative difference of center of pressure length of the LM at 30 Hz was significantly different between elderly patients with and those without a history of falls. Therefore, the Meissner and Vater-Pacini corpuscles may be deteriorated in patients with low back pain. The Meissner corpuscle in the lumbar region may be deteriorated in those who experience falls.
