        사회과 텍스트 읽기에서의 선택적 지각 양상

        The purpose of this study is to identify the aspects of selective perception that occur in the course of reading Social studies text and thereby accept implications in Social studies teaching and learning. For this purpose, this study attempted to devise appropriate survey tool that investigate selective perception in Social studies texts. And by using this tool, the aspects of selective perception was analyzed. The results of the research are as follows. First, the frequency of the appearance of selective perception was different according to the text topic. Second, the aspects of selective perception was different according to the purpose of perception. Third, the aspects of selective perception was different according to the restricted information acquisition path. Finally, the aspects of selective perception was different according to the overly emotional empathy. 본 연구의 목적은 학습자가 사회과 텍스트를 읽는 과정에서 나타나는 선택적 지각의 양상을 파악함으로써 사회과 교수‧학습에서의 시사점을 얻는 데 있다. 이를 위해 선택적 지각의 개념과 이에 관한 논의를 점검하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 사회과 텍스트 읽기에서의 선택적 지각을 분석하는 도구를 구안하고 이를 활용하여 선택적 지각 양상을 분석하였다. 조사 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주제 유형에 따라 선택적 지각 양상이 나타나는 빈도가 달랐다. 둘째, 지각 목적에 따라 선택적 지각 양상이 다르게 나타났다. 셋째, 제한된 정보 획득 경로로 인한 선택적 지각 양상이 나타났다. 넷째, 정서적 측면에 치우진 감정이입으로 인한 선택적 지각 양상이 나타났다.

        중학교 국사 교육에서 학습자 관점이 반영된 내용선정의 필요성과 방안

        This thesis asserts that to realize a learner-centered education in the field of history education, content selection needs to reflect the perspectives of the learners. Also a research has been carried out for the purpose of finding other methods of content selection that reflects the perspectives of the learners on the basis of an analysis of learner perceptions on the present curricular contents. With the introduction of Post-modern historical science and Constructivism, the perception that knowledge is constructed within the internals of a learner and the perception that the teachers and the students are entities that actively construct knowledge proliferated. Under such influences, ‘The 7th curriculum’ and ‘The 2007 reformed curriculum’ emphasizes ‘learner-centered education.’ Learner-centered education values the learners’ abilities, interests, and demands and calls for an active participation in the selection of contents and the process of learning on the part of the learners. The history pedagogy academic field maintains that learners be considered an important axis in the criteria of content selection In spite of this, the content selection of the history education has been done by professionals such as professors and teachers even upto now. The learners have been excluded in the process of content selection and have not taken up an active and principal role in this process. Thus this writer asserts that learners should be made to participate and by doing so the content selection reflect learners’ perspectives. On the other hand, the perception of the learners of the present contents of the middle school Korean History textbook in terms of importance and interests proved to be much influenced by the curriculum and the textbook itself. Because of this, queries on important events have drawn out similar responses revealing a common perception among the students. On the contrary, the students appeared to have different thoughts and showed varying interests on the issue of what is interesting. It has been verified that students make differing selections of contents even with the same criteria. Also the learners showed greater interests in aspects of the past that differed much from the present. While the learners considered the political aspects to be the most important but the least interesting, they rated the cultural aspects to be the most interesting but the least important. This implies much about the content construction of the present middle school Korean History textbook. On the basis of this analysis, this writer has looked for methods of content selection that reflect the learner’s perspective that is applicable in an actual class instruction. Considering the times, purposes and scopes, this writer suggested two methods of reflection. One reflection method is having complement classes on a finished unit based on an in-class conducted written survey of the learners’ perceptions of the finished unit. Another is carrying out a simple investignishn of the learners’ perceptions on the curriculum content previous to instruction through multiple-choice questionnaires then reflecting them in the following classes. This writer has also suggested the use of theme-based studies in selecting contents and designing classes. Many discussions and researches, trial and errors, and experiments are needed for learners to take on an active role in content selection. However, the learner is not only a principal in studying history but another historian carrying out the same thinking tasks and inquiries into the field. So we must make a way to enable the learners to actively participate in the whole process of history education.

        재료선택: 데이터 마이닝의 군집분석과 연관규칙분석을 이용한 재료지각 데이터 분석

        To select materials suitable for products, material perception, which is the feeling consumers haveabout materials, has been studied. Material perception data were obtained through surveys using digital logicfor bipolar adjective pairs. The material perception data were analyzed through unsupervised learning of datamining. Prior to data analysis, to increase the reliability of the data, the homogeneity of the data betweensurveys was tested using clustering analysis, correlation analysis and chi-squared test. After checking thehomogeneity of the data between surveys, the data were merged. The merged material perception data wereanalyzed using relative frequencies, hierarchical clustering, and association rules. The relative frequenciesobtained from survey participants' selections were used to determine the prevailing perceptions of eachmaterial and as basic data for other analyses. In the hierarchical clustering analysis, hierarchy was identifiedusing distances within clusters and distances between clusters. Through association rule analysis, theconsumer's simultaneous perceptions of the material can be known, so not only the individual characteristicsof the material but also the relational characteristics can be considered when selecting materials based onconsumer's perception. The analyzed characteristics were designed into a material perception map, and thismaterial perception map will be a powerful tool to help product designers make better choices that matchconsumers' perception and experience when selecting materials.

        개인의 팩트체크 행위는 양극화를 완화시킬 수 있는가?: 미디어 이용 및 정치대화의 형태별 가짜뉴스 인식에 따른 팩트체크 행위가 정당 및 이슈 양극화에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 개인의 미디어 이용 및 대화의 형태가 양극화에 이르는 과정에서 가짜뉴스에 대한 영향력 인식과 팩트체크 행위의 매개효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위하여 미디어 이용을 자신의 정치성향과 일치하는 미디어를 이용하는 선택적 노출과 정치성향이 일치하지 않는 미디어를 이용하는 이견노출로 구분하고, 정치성향이 일치하는 사람들과의 정치대화를 선택적 대화로, 정치성향이 일치하지 않는 사람들과의 대화를 이견 대화로 구분하였다. 인지된가짜뉴스 영향력의 경우, 제3자 효과 이론을 활용하여 가짜뉴스가 타인보다 자신에게 영향을 미친다고 생각하는 제1자 효과 인식과 가짜뉴스가 자신보다 타인에게 영향력을 미친다고 생각하는 제3자 효과 인식으로 구분하였다. 그 후 개인의 미디어 이용 및 대화의 형태에 따라 인지된가짜뉴스의 영향력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 확인하였다. 연구 결과, 선택적 대화는 가짜뉴스에 대한 제3자 효과에, 이견 노출과 이견 대화는 가짜뉴스 영향력에 대한 제1자 인식에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향력이 나타남을 확인하였다. 다음으로, 인지된 가짜뉴스 영향력이 팩트체크 행위에 미치는 영향을 확인해 본 결과, 가짜뉴스에 대한 제1자/제3자 효과 인식 두 가지 모두 유의미한 정(+)의 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났는데, 타인에게 영향이 있다고 느낄 때 보다 자신에게 영향이 있다고 느낄 때 팩트체크 행위를 더 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 팩트체크 행위가 양극화에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위하여 양극화를 정당 양극화와 이슈 양극화로 구분하였다. 그 결과 정당 양극화에는 무의미한 결과가 나타났지만, 이슈 양극화에는 유의미한 정(+)의 영향력을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 결론과 시사점을 논의하였다. The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effects of the perception of fake news and individual fact-checking behaviors in the relationship between different types of media use and political discussion, and partisan and issue polarization. Media use was categorized into selective and cross-cutting exposure, while political discussion was categorized into selective and cross-cutting discussion. The perception of fake news was segmented into third-person and first-person perception. The results confirmed that selective discussion has a positive significance on the third-person perception of fake news, and both cross-cutting exposure and discussion have a positive impact on the first-person perception of fake news. Furthermore, both first and third-person perceptions of fake news have a positive significance on individual fact-checking behaviors, and these behaviors, in turn, have a positive impact on issue polarization exclusively. The implications of these findings are discussed.

        편의점 베이커리의 선택속성이 구매태도 및 행동의도에 미치는 영향 - 위험지각의 조절효과를 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of convenience store bakeries on selection attributes, purchasing attitudes, and behavioral intentions, as well as the mediating effect of purchasing attitudes, and the moderating effect of risk perception. It was confirmed that the price and convenience of Hypothesis 1 had a significant positive (+) effect on the purchasing attitude, and the taste had no effect on the purchasing attitude. The purchasing attitude of Hypothesis 2 was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on the behavioral intention. It was found that there was a mediating effect of positive purchasing attitude between the price of the selection attribute, convenience, and the influence relationship of behavioral intention of Hypothesis 3. As a result of the moderating effect of the risk perception of convenience store bakery in Hypothesis 4, the group with high risk perception was found to have a moderating effect between the influence relationship of price, convenience, and purchasing attitude. In the case of a low group, it was confirmed that the purchasing attitude was strengthened if the risk perception was felt low because the moderating effect of risk perception appeared between the influence relationship between price and purchasing attitude. It was found that the risk perception between the purchasing attitude and the influence relationship of the convenience store bakery in Hypothesis 5 had a moderating effect in both groups.

      • Exploring Behavior and Selective Attention of Visual Perception Process in Commercial Space

        This study experimented with the observation of user behavior on how the layout of the architectural space affects the process of human experience and perception. As for the research method, glassed eye-tracking and behavior tracking observation experiments were conducted under the influence of salience stimuli according to the visual system appearing in the architectural space. The experiment in which the participant participated was divided into two types, uncontrolled (3min/all area) and controlled exploring (2min/each area for a total of 4 areas). By dividing exploring in the experiment, the behavioral type, and fixation frequency that change according to the type of movement and the visual system could be compared and evaluated at a relative ratio. In addition, data analysis of controlled exploring was able to track participants' attention to the decision-making process through the size of the pupils for a limited time. In conclusion, by matching the human visual system and behavior factors, what kind of behavior appears according to the level of perception and cognition for decision making, and the value of selective attention and the size of the pupil according to the change in behavior. There is significance in the establishment of a scientific research frame that analyzes whether differences appear and the implementation of research methods.

        예술기법을 순간 노출시키는 혼합형 TV광고표현에 관한 연구 -일러스트레이션기법과 애니메이션기법 중심으로-

        The advertisements, taking the form of subconscious advertisements showing the illustration technique or animation technique which is halted between TV advertising stories for the live action technique, show similar expressing techniques regardless of brand categories. Especially this study found the intention of visual perceptive expression around the TV advertisements using the mixed live action that shows the illustration technique or animation technique which is halted between the TV advertisements whose live action is taken instantly based on 3 theoretical grounds, and predicted the mixed representation techniques of advertisements that will be adopted in the future. Given the research result, we could know that the TV advertisements, using mixed live action that exposes art techniques instantly, use the visual perceptive stimulating expression techniques for advertisements which are intended by creators. Such advertisements take the advertising form that uses subconscious, crossing between unconscious and conscious, featuring the contrast and separation of the differentiated stimulating elements of advertisements as well as the selection and subjectivity of perception. Finally it can be said that unique advertising expression techniques are used for the selective attraction through differentiated visual perception. It is expected that such mixed and complex expression techniques for advertisements will be changed and developed into various visual perceptive expression techniques. 실사(實寫)로 촬영된 라이브 액션(Live-Action)의 동영상광고 사이에 일러스트레이션기법이나 애니메이션기법을 순간적으로 노출시켜 보여주는, 마치 잠재의식광고의 형태를 띠고 있는 광고들이 브랜드 카테고리(Brand Category)에 상관없이 유사한 표현기법의 형태들로 나타나고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 많은 혼합형 TV광고표현 중에서도 특히 실사로 촬영된 동영상광고 사이에 일러스트레이션기법이나 애니메이션기법과 같은 예술기법을 순간적으로 노출시키는 혼합형 TV광고를 중심으로 어떠한 시지각적 표현의도를 가지고 있는지 3가지 이론적 근거를 통해 분석, 연구하였다. 또한 이러한 표현기법의 광고들은 앞으로 어떠한 혼합형의 광고표현기법들로 발전될 수 있을지를 예측해보았다. 연구결과 일러스트레이션기법이나 애니메이션기법을 순간 노출시킨 혼합형 TV광고들은 크리에이터의 의도된 시지각적인 광고자극 표현기법으로서, 차별화된 광고자극요소의 대조성과 분리성, 그리고 지각의 선별성과 주관성의 특징으로, 무의식과 의식의 경계선을 넘나드는 잠재의식광고의 형태를 띠며, 시지각적 차별화를 통한 선택적 주의를 끌게 하는 독특한 광고표현기법이라고 할 수 있었다. 앞으로도 이러한 혼합화, 복합화된 광고표현기법들은 다양한 시지각적 낯선 광고표현기법들로 더욱 변형되어 발전될 것으로 예측된다.

        인지 일관성 이론에 근거한 텔레비전 후보 토론회의 효과

        This study tries to test three research hypotheses about the effects of televised presidential debates on voters' attitude change which are derived from the theory of cognitive consistency. Three cognitive and attitudinal elements are considered to test the hypotheses; (1) voters' prior attitude toward a presidential candidate, (2) voters' position about policy issues, (3) voter's perception of the candidate's position about policy issues. Based on the theory of cognitive consistency, three research hypotheses were derived as explaining a response of experiencing the cognitive dissonance after watching the televised debates. The 'rational voting' hypothesis indicates that voters change their preference toward a political candidate who is realized to support their policy positions after the debates. The 'persuasion' hypothesis means that voters change their policy positions along with their preferred candidate's policy positions after the debates. The 'selective perception' hypothesis implies that voters change their perception of the preferred candidate's policy positions as similar to their positions. Two contingent variables were considered as testing three research hypotheses; (1) voters' political interest, (2) voters' affective tie to political candidates. A panel survey data were used to test the hypotheses, which were collected during the 2002 presidential campaign in Korea. As a result of data analyses, the 'rational voting' hypothesis was confirmed among voters whose political interest is high or affective tie to their prior preferred candidate is weak. The 'selective perception' hypothesis was also confirmed among voters whose political interest is low or affective tie to their prior preferred candidate is strong.

        정치 정보에 대한 선택적 노출이 태도 극화에 미치는 효과

        Focusing on non-political online communities as alternative forums for political talk and participation, this study investigated the effects of politically-motivated selective exposure on attitude polarization. Specifically, it was expected that one’s selective exposure to political messages would increase the degree of congenial bias in her/his own perception of the opinion climate within an online community and, as a result, intensify the extent of attitude polarization. Partisan selective exposure was also expected to contribute indirectly to attitude polarization by strengthening one’s identification with a particular political group. To explore these mediating mechanisms, this study conducted an online survey of a total of 300 online-community users in the Seoul mayoral by-election of 2011. According to the results, first, selective exposure significantly strengthened one’s assimilation bias in opinion perception. However, the mediating role of congenial opinion perception in the relationship between selective exposure and attitude polarization was demonstrated only among relatively progressive users. Second, the mediating role of political group identification was not supported. Third, selective exposure to political messages did not directly reinforce attitude polarization. The implications and limitations of the study were discussed.
