본 연구는 이미지 구성을 활용하여 자전적 치유공연을 만들어가는 과정과 공연 후에 생겨나는 개인의 변화에 관한 연구이다. 언어 중심의 대본 구성을 하지 않고 이미지 구성을 통해 공연을 만들어가는 과정에서 발생하는 치유와 그 이미지의 활용에 대하여 알아보았다. 이미지라는 것은 인간의 사고에서 언어 이전에 나타나는 본능적인 생각의 상태이므로 이미지를 통하여 개인의 상태가 잘 표현될 수 있다. 먼저 개인의 현재 상태를 다양한 미술 재료를 활용하여 평면 이미지인 ‘2D 꼴라주’로 만들고 그것을 다른 참여자들과 함께 감상하고 가장 중요하다고 느껴지는 부분에 집중한다. 다음 단계는 개인이 일상에서 선택한 다양한 재료들로 입체물을 구성하여 ‘3D 꼴라주’를 만든다. 이 ‘3D 꼴라주’를 하나의 예술품을 감상하듯이 다각도로 보고, 만져보고 자신의 여러 감각들을 통하여 수용하여 본인에게 어떤 감정들이 일어나는지를 확인한다. 이후로 이 입체물을 자신의 몸으로 조각상처럼 표현해 보고 향후에 그 조각상의 이전, 이후 모습을 표현하면서 자연스러운 움직임을 만들어낸다. 이렇게 찾아낸 몸 이미지는 꼴라주를 만들면서 활용했던 이미지들과 결합되어 공연되는 한 장면으로 혹은 장면의 이미지로 구축되면서 점차 소리, 움직임, 대사로 구성되며 공연의 형태를 갖추게 된다. 이 연구의 대상인 J는 몇 년 동안의 우울과 무력감의 실체를 이미지로 발견하고 그것을 다시 공연으로 만들어 관객 앞에서 명확하게 보여주며 그 상태를 벗어났다고 이야기한다. 참여자는 스스로 그 무력감의 거대한 무게에 관하여 이야기했으나 실제 만들어진 이미지들이 가진 놀라운 반전의 모습 즉, 가볍고 별것 아니며 쉽게 벗어날 수 있는 이미지를 자신도 모르게 만들고 그 우울감과 무력감의 실체를 처음 접하게 되었다. 이성적인 생각과 진술로 이루어지는 무게감에 비해 가볍고 별것 아닌 재료들로 구성되는 무의식적인 선택에서 오는 이미지들을 통해 실제 자신의 고민이 스스로 벗어날 수 있는 가벼움이라는 것을 발견하게 되었다. 그리고 이후 공연까지의 제작 과정과 공연을 통해 새로운 인식을 가질 수 있게 되었다. 이 연구에서는 다양한 자전적 치유공연의 만들기 방법 중, 무의식적인 선택을 지속적으로 요구하는 이미지 중심의 사고 과정을 구축하는 방법을 이용하여 이성적이고 논리적인 진술 과정과는 다른 방식의 공연 만들기를 제안한다. 그것은 관습적이며 문자 중심적인 사고에서는 발견해 내지 못하는 무의식의 발현을 재수용하여 자전적 치유공연을 만들어내는 과정이며 참여자가 스스로 성장과 발전을 이루어 낼 수 있는 치유적 과정으로 잘 활용될 수 있을 것이다. This study describes the process of creating an ATP (Autobiographical Therapeutic Performance) by utilizing the image composition of the individual's current status and the change of the individual that occurs after the performance. We investigated the use of images generated in the process of creating performances through image composition without a language-centered script composition. An image is a state of instinctive thought that appears before language in human thinking, so the state of an individual can be well expressed through the image. First, the current status of the individual is made into a flat image "2D collage" by utilizing various art materials, and it is viewed with other participant and concentrated on the part that is felt to be the most important. The next step is to create a "3D collage" by composing a three-dimensional object with various materials that an individual chooses on a daily basis. After making this, all of participants see "3D collage" from multiple angles as if appreciating a piece of art, and check what emotions you feel. After that, he try to express this three-dimensional object with his own body like a statue, and creating a natural movement while expressing the front and back of the statue. The body image found in this way is a scene that is combined with the image used while making a collage, or it is constructed with the image of the scene, and it is gradually composed of sounds, movements, and dictions to make the form of the performance. Participant say that he discovered the substance of melancholy and helplessness for several years as an image in the process of creating the performance, made it a performance again, showed it clearly in front of the audience, and got out of that state. The participant himself talked about the enormous weight of that feeling of helplessness, but he unknowingly created an image of a surprising reversal of the actually created images, that is, an image that is light, insignificant, and easily escaped, and came into contact with the reality of that feeling of depression and helplessness for the first time. Compared to the weight of rational thoughts and statements, he discovered that through images made up of light and insignificant materials through unconscious choices, he found that his real troubles were light enough to escape by himself. In this study, I propose to make a performance different from the rational and logical statement process by using the method of constructing an image-centered thinking process that continuously requires unconscious choices among various autobiographical therapeutic performance making techniques. It is a process of creating an autobiographical therapeutic performance by re-accepting the manifestations of the unconscious, which cannot be found in conventional and text-oriented thinking, and can be well utilized as a healing process in which participants can achieve their own growth and development.
패션브랜드 멀티채널 광고의 브랜드이미지 일치성이 광고효과에 미치는 영향

본 연구의 목적은 온/오프라인을 모두 병행하여 운영하고 있는 패션브랜드에서의 브랜드 이미지의 일치성과 매체에 따른 광고효과에 대해 연구하는 것이 목적이었으며, 그 결과를 살펴보면다음과 같다. 첫째, 패션브랜드 광고의 브랜드이미지 일치성에 따른 광고효과에서는 브랜드이미지가 일치하는 광고가 브랜드태도와 구매의도에 유의한 것으로 나타나 광고의 브랜드 일치성이브랜드태도와 구매의도에 영향을 주는 것을 알 수 있다. 하지만, 광고태도에서는 유의한 영향을주지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 패션브랜드 광고의 매체별(무점포 인터넷 배너광고 vs 점포내 POP 광고) 광고효과에서는 유의한 결과가 나타나지 않았다. 전반적으로 온라인보다는 오프라인에서 광고 효과가 더 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 광고의 브랜드 이미지 일치성에 따라서는 광고이미지가 브랜드 이미지와 일치 할 경우 더 높은 광고 효과를 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to investigate which advertising types had a greater impact on advertising effectiveness, between congruence images and incongruence image. 311 female college students in Korea participated in a 2×2 between -subjects experiment. A fashion brand, 'Bean pole', was selected through the pretest, running both on-line and off-line channels. As the results, first, the image congruence advertising aroused consumers' brand attitudes and purchase intentions more than incongruence image. Second, each channel's advertising showed similar effectiveness between on-line and off-line channel. Third, the main effects of advertisement attitudes were significant in each channel. Forth, the ‘Bean pole' brand was more effective off-line than on-line. And the main effects of brand attitudes between images congruence and image incongruence. So the ‘Bean pole' brand was more effective with image congruence than image incongruence advertising. Fifth, significant interaction effect between types of images and shopping channels was identified. Finally, the main effects of purchase intention was identified for both image congruence and incongruence. A significant interaction effect between the types of images and shopping channels was also identified. These results imply that image congruence on fashion brands affects consumers' purchase intentions and brands attitudes.

FTA, which has a huge influence on the world economy and industrial structure, also exercises a great influence on the whole country as well as the core resources of each city or local industries, Jeju is also expecting damage from the conclusion of the FTA in agricultural, livestock and marine products focusing on tangerines, not prepared to take proper measures. Though Korea has already become powerful in trade, the products are not evaluated properly in the global market due to the weak national image. This indicates that, even though a country as well as a certain city in the country exports outstanding resources or products, it is difficult to have competitive advantage without the established image of the relevant city, To be recognized as a premium product in the global market, image competition that reveals value’ begins to have more significance than quality or price competition. However, though there have been many studies on the individual effects of national image, city image or corporate image, there are few regarding city image to respond to export or FTA. Therefore, this study aims to examine the influence of the FTA in Jeju and find plans to enhance the city image of Jeju to cope with the FTA. Jeju must maintain consistency between Jeju and Jeju products by transferring the city image to resources or products with its environmentally-friendly image as the core value. Moreover, if Jeju can combine cultural history and assets that can create various values of Jeju into a story, and use the story to build a stronger city image, Jeju will be able to use the FTA as an opportunity.
적합성 피드백을 통해 결정된 가중치를 갖는 시각적 특성에 기반을 둔 이미지 검색 모델

디지털 이미지의 양이 증가함에 따라 원하는 이미지를 정확하고 빠르게 찾을 수 있는 방법의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 이미지 검색 방법으로는 이미지의 색상이나 명암과 같은 시각적 특성을 검색 조건으로 이용하는 내용 기반 검색과 이미지를 설명하는 키워드를 검색 조건으로 이용하는 키워드 기반 검색이 있다. 하지만 이러한 방법만으로는 사용자가 원하는 이미지를 정확하게 찾기 힘들다는 문제점이 제기되어 왔다. 따라서 최근에는 검색 도중 사용자의 응답을 받아 사용자의 요구를 파악함으로써 향상된 검색결과를 제공하는 적합성 피드백에 대한 연구가 많이 진행되고 있다. 하지만 적합성 피드백을 이용하는 방법들도 원하는 결과를 얻기 위해서는 여러 번의 피드백을 필요로 하고 질의 수행이 완료된 후에는 얻어진 피드백 정보를 재사용하지 못한다는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이미지에 키워드를 연결한 후 사용자의 피드백 정보를 반영하여 키워드의 신뢰도를 조절함으로써 키워드 기반 이미지 검색의 정확도를 높일 수 있는 모델을 제안한다. 제안된 모델에서는 사용자로부터 피드백을 받은 이미지뿐만 아니라 긍정적 피드백을 받은 이미지들이 공통적으로 가지는 시각적 특성과 유사한 시각적 특성을 가지는 다른 이미지들까지도 키워드의 신뢰도를 조정함으로써 좀 더 빠른 시간 내에 검색 결과의 정확도를 높이도록 한다. 제안한 방법의 정확성을 검증하기 위한 실험 결과에 따르면, 같은 횟수의 피드백을 받으면서도 재현율과 정확률은 빠른 증가를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. Increasing amount of digital images requires more accurate and faster way of image retrieval. So far, image retrieval method includes content-based retrieval and keyword based retrieval, the former utilizing visual features such as color and brightness and the latter utilizing keywords which describe the image. However, the effectiveness of these methods as to providing the exact images the user wanted has been under question. Hence, many researchers have been working on relevance feedback, a process in which responses from the user are given as a feedback during the retrieval session in order to define user’s need and provide improved result. Yet, the methods which have employed relevance feedback also have drawbacks since several feedbacks are necessary to have appropriate result and the feedback information can not be reused. In this paper, a novel retrieval model has been proposed which annotates an image with a keyword and modifies the confidence level of the keyword in response to the user’s feedback. In the proposed model, not only the images which have received positive feedback but also the other images with the visual features similar to the features used to distinguish the positive image are subjected to confidence modification. This enables modifying large amount of images with only a few feedbacks ultimately leading to faster and more accurate retrieval result. An experiment has been performed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed model and the result has demonstrated rapid increase in recall and precision while receiving the same number of feedbacks.

This paper tries to understand the topography of Korean state image in Britain and to get at the deep narrative/storytelling and the core image of Korea. For this purpose, this study analyses the articles on Korea in British newspaper <The Times> on the basis of cultural semiology. The semiological analysis shows that Korean state image is composed of several sub images; 'the magnetic field of danger and confusion' as a political image, 'young man coming to maturity' as an economical image, 'underdeveloped country of disorder' as a social image, 'emotional nationalism' as a foreign relational image, and 'the rising of the youthfulness' as a cultural image. In political, economical and foreign relational areas, Korean images are mixed of preexistent negative images and newly forming positive images. The Korean social image as underdeveloped country of disorder implies the lack of cultural image. The cultural image of Korea is now burgeoning. On the basis of the topography of Korean image, this study discusses the changes of the deep narratives and the core images of Korea: from the 'suffering and destruction,' through the 'growth and confusion,' to the 'recovery and maturity' regarding the deep narratives and from the 'lethargy' through the 'aspiration' to the 'flexible self-confidence' regarding the core image. The recent rising images and the possibility of new narrative of Korea are still in danger of returning old negative one by the convention of news making and framing.

Abstract-Hardware-Software co-simulation of a multiple image encryption technique shall be described in this paper. Our proposed multiple image encryption technique is based on the Latin Square Image Cipher (LSIC). First, a carrier image that is based on the Latin Square is generated by using 256-bits of length key. The XOR operation is applied between an input image and the Latin Square Image to generate an encrypted image. Then, the XOR operation is applied between the encrypted image and the second input image to encrypt the second image. This process is continues until the nth input image is encrypted. We achieved hardware co-simulation of the proposed multiple image encryption technique by using the Xilinx System Generator (XSG). This encryption technique is modeled using Simulink and XSG Block set and synthesized onto Virtex 2 pro FPGA device. We validated our proposed technique by using the hardware software co-simulation method.

영상 해상도 개선은 영상 복원이나 확대 같은 응용 분야에서 널리 사용되는 기술로서, 결과 영상에서의 블록 현상이나 인공물 발생과 같은 화질 열화를 제거하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 영상의 손실 정보를 이용하는 영상 해상도 개선 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 획득 저해상도를 하위 레벨보간을 통해서 손실 정보를 계산 및 추정하고 이를 보간된 고해상도 영상에 적용함으로서 1차적인 보간을 수행하고 획득 저해상도 영상과의 에러를 계산한 후 다시 보간된 영상에 적용하는 과정을 반복하여 최종적인 보간 영상을 생성한다. 동일한 영상을 이용한 시험을 통해서 비교 방법들보다 평균 PSNR에서 3.2㏈ 이상 향상된 것을 확인하였고, 주관적 화질도 개선된 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 계산복잡도를 85% 이상 감소시킬 수 있었다. 제안한 해상도 개선 방법은 영상 처리의 다양한 분야에서 기반 기술로 사용될 수 있다. Image resolution improvement is commonly technique for applications such as image reconstruction or enlargement. It is important to remove image quality degradation such as blocking effect or artificiality occurrence. In this paper, we propose image resolution improvement method using loss information of image. The proposed compute and estimate by low level interpolation of obtained low resolution image, it is applied by interpolated high resolution as 1-stage interpolation. We generate last interpolation image by iteration of error computation and application between obtained low resolution image and 1-stage interpolation image. By experiments using same test images, we confirmed improvement over 3.2㏈ of average PSNR and enhancement of subject image quality. Also, we can reduce more than 85% computation complexity. The proposed image resolution improvement method may be helpful for various applications of image processing.

The purpose of this study is to apply the concepts discussed in the previous studies on the China`s country image and its impact to the Korean market, to provide basic information about the characteristics of the Korean market for Chinese companies to enter the Korean market, and to provide suggestions related to the country image for Korean companies when they want to enter foreign markets. For this purpose, a survey of 265 college students and workers in Seoul was analyzed using SPSS 2.0 and AMOS 21. The results are as follows. First, the dimensions of China`s country image were found to be composed of five factors: fundamental image, socioeconomic image, prestige image, relationships image, and affective image. Second, among the dimensions of China`s country image, fundamental image, socioeconomic image, and affective image had a positive effect on product image, and prestige image had a negative effect. Third, affective image was found to have influence on the attitude towards the product. Fourth, China`s overall product images appeared to influence consumer attitudes. Fifth, the consumer attitudes to Chinese products appeared to affect the purchase intention. Sixth, for the consumer group whose own consumer ethnocentrism is low, compared to high, images of Chinese products showed a more positive impact on consumer attitudes. In the conclusion, we discussed the implications derived from the empirical results and suggested for future research.
Inpainting GAN-Based Image Blending with Adaptive Binary Line Mask

Image blending is a scheme for image composition to make the composite image looks as natural and realistic as possible. Image blending should ensure that the edges of the object look seamless and do not distort colors. Recently, numerous studies investigated image blending methods adopting deep learning-based image processing algorithms and contributed to generating natural blended images. Although the previ-ous studies show remarkable performance in many cases, they suffer from quality drop when blending incompletely cropped object. This is because partial loss and unnecessary extra information on the cropped object image interferes with image blending. This paper proposes a new scheme that significantly reduce the unnatural edges and the color distortion. First, to detect and handle the incompletely cropped region, an adaptive binary line mask generation utilizing color difference checking algorithm (CDC) is proposed. The generated mask is exploited to im-prove image blending performance by isolating incompletely cropped image edges from image blending. Second, in order to perform inpaint-ing the missing or masked area of the object image and image blending together, the inpainting generative adversarial model is adopted. Exper-imental results show that the blended images are not only more natural than those of the previous works but the color information is also well preserved.

Background : Recently, the use of large language models (LLMs)-based generative artificial intelligence (AI) that can create creative content by understanding, combining, and inferring textual information is gradually expanding in various industries. In the field of product design, various measures are actively studied to generate high-quality product ideas using image-generating AI. However, when product designers use image generation AI to generate initial product ideas, there is a lack of research that discovers the deficiencies of image generation AI based on user experience to explore the directions of improvement of image generation AI.<BR/>Methods : First, through literature research, we investigated what role image generation AI can play in the process of designers coming up with product ideas. Second, we observed the product design ideation process of 10 participants using image generation AI and conducted in-depth interviews. Third, by analyzing the task performance records and interview responses, the users’ inconvenient experiences are identified, and the problems of image generation AI are identified. Fourth, we proposed the improvement directions of image generation AI tools to utilize image generation AI more effectively and efficiently in the product design ideation process.<BR/>Results : The experimental observation results are as follows. First, visual product images generated by image generation AI helped spread the inspiration of product designers. Second, it was difficult for the users to select the prompt to enter at the beginning of their ideation. Third, image generation AI generated a lot of product images that did not reflect the user’s intention. Fourth, image generation AI generated structurally incomplete product images. Fifth, when users tried to modify the product image, the shape was not well transformed only by text prompts. Sixth, users were uncomfortable with the process of repeatedly entering text prompts such as form, style, material, and color, which are repeatedly used when coming up with an idea.<BR/>Conclusions : In this study, we propose improvement directions for image generation AI tools that can help to create product design ideas. First, in the process of entering appropriate prompts necessary for idea creation, a method of directly exploring prompts within the tool should be supported so that designers can receive help. Second, there is a need for a method of managing idea generation results, which supports product designers to select valid ideas from numerous images generated by AI according to the design goals initially set. Third, if necessary, the AI should be fine-tuned with the data chosen by the product designer. Fourth, there is a need for a method that can intuitively modify the product image from the three-dimensional shape of the actual product. Fifth, there is a need for a method of supporting a user to customize and use design elements that are repeatedly used.
