2020 도쿄 올림픽 태권도 경기복에 대한 논의 : 국가대표 여자선수 중심으로

이 연구는 2020 도쿄 올림픽 태권도 경기복에 대한 논의를 진행하는데 그 목적이 있었으며, 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 올림픽 태권도 경기복의 장점은 2020 도쿄 올림픽을 대비하여 가라테와의 차별화를 위한 전략이라고 볼 수 있다. 기존 태권도복에 비해 가볍고, 밀착형이기 때문에 타격부위를 정확하게 보여준다. 그리고 상대방을 잡고 차는 반칙을 사전에 예방할 수 있으며, 발차기 수행을 원활하게 하였다. 둘째, 올림픽 태권도 경기복의 단점은 선수들이 민망함, 수치심, 불편함, 답답함 등을 호소하였다. 몸에 쪼이는 느낌으로 인해 평소보다 경기력에 방해가 되었고, 휴식시간에 도복 을 탈의해야만 보호 장비를 풀 수 있었다. 그리고 경기복이 얇아서 잘 찢어진다는 것과 태권도복의 펄럭임이 사라져 역동적 인 발차기의 모습이 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 기존 태권도복과의 차이점으로는 기존의 흰색 태권도복이 태권도 발차기의 멋스러움을 더욱 돋보이게 하며, 청홍 선수를 보다 명확하게 구분할 수 있다. 무분별한 경기복의 도입은 태권도의 전통성 을 훼손할 수 있고, 현재 올림픽 태권도 경기복은 펜싱복과 유사하며, 앞으로 선수들의 부상방지를 위해 개선이 요구된다. The purpose of this study was to discuss Taekwondo suits for 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The results led to the following conclusions: First, one of the advantages of the Taekwondo suits for the Olympics is their strategy of differentiation from the Karate of Japan. The Taekwondo suits are lighter and more contact-type than the old ones, showing the target parts accurately. They also prevent the foul of holding the other player for kicking and contribute to the smooth performance of kicks. Secondly, the players mentioned the disadvantages of the Taekwondo suits for the Olympics, saying that they felt embarrassed, shame, uncomfortable, and suffocated in the suits. As they felt tight in the suits, they said that the suits hindered their usual performance. They had to take off the suits during a break in order to unfasten the protective gear. In addition, the suits were thin and prone to tear and did not flap to show the dynamic aspect of kicks no longer. Finally, the study also examined differences between the old Taekwondo suits and the new ones. The old white ones highlighted the fabulous kicks of Taekwondo and made it easy to distinguish Blue and Red players clearly. Given that the white Taekwondo suits are a symbol of Taekwondo, the introduction of indiscrete Taekwondo suits can damage the tradition of Taekwondo. The current Taekwondo suits for the Olympics are similar to the fencing suits and require improvements to prevent injuries for players.

스피드 스케이팅 경기복 항력감소 연구 -풍동시험을 중심으로-

스피드 스케이팅 경기복의 항력 특성을 분석하기 위하여 풍동시험 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 스피드 스케이팅 경기복에서의 딤플의 효과에 대하여 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 한국스포츠개발원에서 개발한 양·음각딤플 혼합 경기복, 음각딤플 경기복 및 기존 시판 경기복의 항력을 측정 분석하였다. 실제 스피드 스케이팅 경기 자세 중 가장 많은 비중을 차지하는 Glide 자세 형상의 마네킹을 제작하여 경기복을 착용시킨 후 항력을 측정하였으며, 데이터 신뢰성 확보를 위해 각 경기복별로 3회 반복시험을 실시하였다. 그 결과 한국스포츠개발원에서 개발한 음각딤플 경기복이 양·음각딤플 혼합 경기복과 기존 제품에 비해 최소 0.6%에서 최대 2.5%의 항력 저감효과가 있는 것을 확인하였다. A wind tunnel study for drag reduction of speed skating suits were performed at Korea Air Force Academy subsonic wind tunnel laboratory. The objective of study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the dimple. Embossing-engraving dimple mixed suit and engraving dimple suit, and existing suit were performed in wind tunnel test to analyze drag characteristics. In the experimental research, speed skating suits were tested with a model mannequin taking, so called, the ``Glide`` pose, which was the most occupied attitude during race and three repetition test were performed to verify the accuracy of experimental data. The results showed that the drag characteristic of newly developed suit using engraving dimple was better than embossing-engraving dimple mixed suit and existing one, which reduced the total drag by 0.6~2.5%.

스피드스케이팅 경기복 항력특성에 대한 풍동실험 연구

스피드스케이팅 경기복에 대한 항력 특성을 공군사관학교 아음속 풍동실험실에서 측정하였다. 풍동실험의 목적은 스피드 스케이팅 경기력 향상을 위한 저항력 경기복 개발에 필요한 섬유 원단 조합과 디자인을 찾아내는 것이다. 선행 연구로부터 개발된 여러 종류의 저항력 섬유 원단을 이용, 조합하여 새로운 경기복을 제작하였다. 본 실험 연구에서는 3 종의 새롭게 개발된 경기복과 4 종의 기존 경기복에 대하여 측정이 이루어졌다. 실험은 스피드스케이팅 경기 중 가장 많은 비중을 차지하는 Glide 포즈 모형의 마네킹에 경기복을 직접 착용시켜 항력을 측정하였다. 측정 결과 새롭게 개발된 경기복이 기존 경기복에 비하여 2.3 ~ 2.53% 가량 항력이 저감된 것으로 나타났다. The objective of wind tunnel test is to find the best combination of fabric patterns and designs to develop a new low-drag suit compared with existing suits for enhancing speed performance. Low-drag fabric materials were chosen from the preliminary research and adapted to new suits. In the current experimental research, 3 newly developed suits and 4 existing suits were tested with a model mannequin taking, so called, the "Glide" pose, which is the most occupied attitude during race. Some of suits with new fabric materials showed better drag characteristics than the existing ones, which reduced the total drag by 2.3~2.53 %.

스피드 스케이팅 경기복 항력감소를 위한 풍동시험 연구

3년(’14년~’16년)에 걸쳐 스피드 스케이팅 경기복에 대한 항력 특성 분석을 위한 풍동시험 연구를 수행하였다. 풍동시험의 목적은 한국스포츠 개발원에서 스피드 스케이팅 경기력 향상을 위해 개발한 경기복에 대해 기존의 제품과의 항력특성을 분석하는 것이다. 항력특성을 분석을 위해 실제 스피드 스케이팅 경기중 가장 많은 비중을 차지하는 Glide 포즈 형상의 마네킹을 제작하여 경기복을 착용시킨 후 항력을 측정하였다. 데이터의 신뢰성을 확보하기 위해 각 경기복 별로 3회 반복시험을 실시하였으며, 시험결과 한국스포츠 개발원에서 개발한 경기복이 기존의 시제품보다 0.6 ~ 2.7%가량의 항력 저감효과가 있는 것으로 확인하였다. The objective of wind tunnel test is to analyze the drag characteristics of newly developed speed skating suit by comparing existing suits. In this study, 1 newly developed suits and 4 existing suits were performed in wind tunnel test. Three repetition test are performed to verify the accuracy of experimental data. The results show that the drag characteristics of newly developed suits better than the existing ones, which reduced the total drag by 0.6~2.7%.

태권 ‘도(道)’의 도복과 태권도 ‘경기(競技)’의 유니폼(경기복), 그 논쟁에 대한 고찰

본 연구에서는 도복과 경기복의 의미를 살펴보고, 현재 태권도 현장에서 착용하는 도복과 경기복 유형을 통하여 태권도를 수련하고 경기에 참가하는 수련생과 선수들이 착용하는 의복을 ‘도’복으로서 바라보아야 할 것인지, 아니면 ‘경기’복으로 봐야 할 것인지 하는 의문감을 해소시킬 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하는데 필요성 및 목적을 두고 연구를 진행하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 도복은 무술이 가지고 있는 고유한 특성을 표현하고, 수련하는데 있어서 경건하고 진지한 마음가짐을 가질 수 있도록 도와준다. 둘째, 태권도 경기복은 편안함과 경기력 향상, 그리고 상업적 의미에서 미디어 노출이라는 요소를 모두 포함하고 있음을 볼 수 있다. 셋째, 태권도 경기복에 대한 논쟁은 ‘태권도 경기 역시 무도의 일환이다’라는 것과 ‘태권도 경기는 스포츠이다’라는 시각으로 살펴볼 수 있으며, 이러한 논쟁 속에서 잊지 말아야 할 것은 태권도가 지니고 있는 본질을 잃지 않는다는 것이다. In this study, the author examined the meaning of uniform and competition uniform. This study aimed at providing basic data to clear doubts about whether uniform worn by trainees and players who learn Taekwondo through dress and basic clothes types and participate in the competition should be considered as uniform for cultivation(道) or "competition" uniform. Findings from this study are presented as follows. First, Taekwondo uniform for cultivation helps to express its unique martial characteristics and take calm and deliberate attitude in the course of training. Second, Taekwondo competition uniform involves elements such as comfort, playing improvement, and media exposure in terms of commerce. Third, the debate over Taekwondo competition uniform can be viewed as “Taekwondo is a part of martial art,” and “Taekwondo is a sport.” What should be noted is that the essence of Taekwondo should never be missed.

학령기 여아를 위한 경기용 피겨 스케이팅복 패턴 설계에 관한 연구

This study developed basic pattern for competition figure skating wear for school girls. Figure skating wears are difficult for making basic patterns based on standard size chart, because girls` body size are slimmer and more slender compared to the general girl`s and the competition wears such as, swim suit with sleeves are, closely in contact with the player`s body. The competition wears for school girl was made with consideration of changing of the body shape, physical exercises, and various specificities according to stretch material. To raise artistic effect while doing beautiful motions, and to assist in facile technique motions, competition wears need to have enough ease on the side line from waist to armpit, from armpit to wrist, and in trunk girth including crotch girth. Also, to stand out in beauty, a costume designing has a proper skirt position, length, flare width, and a tight bodice according to the player`s body proportion. Most of the customers are displeased at the high price, unfitness of size, insufficient design, and difficulty in access, since they are not sold in sporting goods store. Therefore, a competition wear`s basic pattern was made through scientific and emotional process including concerns on material properties, room for activities, and ideal body proportion. Systemizing the basic patterns of production method will solve high repairing expenses, unsuitable sizing, and improve accessibility for purchase.
