A comprehensive simulation software package was developed in C base on the work done by Yeadon et al.(1990) and Kwon (1993a) in the aim of making it easy to apply the experimental simulation technigues to the human airborne movement studies. This package consists of 3 programs: simulation variable computation program (PREP), simulation program (SIM) and the 3-dimensional graphic program (3DMAN). All programs are driven by an easy-to-use menu system and written compatible to KWON3D Motion Analysis Package Version 2.1 (Kwon, 1993b). Program PREP consists of 4 menus: `Edit Data´, `Prepare´ `Angular Momentum´ and `Optimization´. The `Edit Data´ environment is an editor for the lengths of the segments and body lines. The `Prepare´ menu computes the internal orientation angles of the segments while the `Angular Momentum´ menu computes the mean airborne angular momentum of the body and other initial conditions such as the initial position and velocity of the body CM and the initial external orientation of the body. The `Optimization´ menu performs angular momentum optimization proposed by Kwon (1993a). A geometric 15-segment body model - Yeadon-Kwon model (Kwon, 1993b) - with at most 38 degrees of freedom including 3 external orientation angles (somersault, inclination and twist angles) was employed to compute the simulation variables. SIM consists of 2 menus: `Edit Angles´ and `Simulate´. The `Edit Angles´ environment is an editor for the internal orientation angles of the segments. Users can intentionally manipulate the internal orientation angles for the simulation of modified trials. The program displays time-angle curves segment by segment. The `Simulate´ menu actually performs simulation. The initial conditions can be directly manipulated in the program menu environment. The simulation program was tested by several theoretical configurations to screen out the flaws in the theory and to isolate coding mistakes. The simulated results were compared with the predicted results and the program showed good agreements between the simulated results and the theoretical predictions. The simulation program was then applied to several gymnastic maneuvers and springboard dives for testing. 3DMAN was developed in the extension of the traditional `Stick Figure´ graphics. The program is segment-oriented and the 3-D shape of each segment is defined defined independently in a graphic model file to allow the users to use different body models with different, combinations of segments. The model file was designed easy to edit so as to allow the users to change the graphic model easily to meet their specific needs. The graphic model file can be edited using any text editor such as `EDIT´ of DOS. Once the `3-D Graphics´ option is activated followed by the registration of the graphic model files, the program draws the 3-D shapes of the segments whose model files are registered. All the graphics-related menus including registration of the segment graphic model files are accessible within the graphic environment.

A new type of motion compenasted (MC)hybrid coding for videophone is proposed. The described coding technique involves a quadtree decomposition of the motion compensated frame to frame difference signal (DFD)and 4X4 discrete Cosine Transform (DCT). Some simulatin results are given. It is found that lower average bitrate can be ovtained with. same image quality compared to comventional MC-DCT hybrid codig.

The starting point of a study in terms of thought on the American Revolution is at the pursuit of where the origin of the revolution. Where did the basic thought of the Revolution which induced the struggle against the fatherland and the break-away from it stem from? On what political principles was it based? This kinds of questions on the genealogy and characteristics of the Revolution have been a matter of great concern for many years. In has been generally accepted that John Lock's The Treatites of Civil Government was related with the Revolution as a source of the basic thought of it. On the other hand, it has also been argued that the Revolution should be regarded as based on both pluralistic and independent American thought in the 18th century which was formed by various precedent European thoughts such as classic democratic thought, rationalism of the Enlightment, common law of England, Puritanism, etc. Nevertheless, Locke's political theories are worth being reconsidered in order to understand the Revolution correctly. In this respect, this study aims to reexamine the basic political principles implied in Two Treatises of Civil Government and analyze the origins of the American political thought with view to reestablishing the role of the book in inducing the American Revolution.

This Review Explores the Background, procedure and progress of school and Community health promotion in the United States. The Review elucidates how school and community health education programs have contributed to the promotion of national health. The role of voluntary health agencies in supporting research is debated. The thirteen current National objectives established to promote health and to prevent chronic diseases by 1990 are explained.

Urban parks and pleasure ground are very important leisure resources for urban inhabitants which they can easily approach in the city. Thus the factors influencing the fluctuation of urban parks and pleasure ground visitors are not only physical ones but also complex ones of which various factors consist. The purpose of this study is to prove the factors which have the influence upon the fluctuation of urban parks (including pleasure ground) visitors, and to analyze the interrelations between these factors and the numbers of visitors, and to establish the model which can explain the fluctuation of urban park visitors. Through the literary survey, this study established only the quantitative factors (season, week, weather) to make the model. As the results of ANOVA, season and week had the strong influence upon the numbers of daily visitors, but climate very weak. Interaction effect between factors was verified. So, the factors were re-established as follows; Climate was transformed into quantative factors (precipitation, cloud, humidity, temperature, wind speed) and the interaction effect became new factor. Multiple regression analysis were carried out with these factors, and final fluctuation model were established on the verification of the curvilinearity. As the result of this model, multiple determinant co-efficient(R??) of each park was 0.65~0.68. For more accurate prediction of fluctuation, we need more careful study to establish the factors which was not included into this study.

The activity of the children's picture is a way to draw out the thinkings in their internal world. In the development of the children's picture, every stage has its own characteristics, as in the physical growth and mental development of human beings. The survey on the children's expressing way of drawing and the observation on their development of drawing were presented depending on their age, which enabled us to make the correct assessment about their pictures and the true understanding about them. This study was done comparatively on age, specific character, composition, side, color, and shape according to the children's growing developmental stage. The results have been drawn as follows; 1) The children's pictures were for the most part composed of lines resulting from the children's activities of body. However, these lines played an important role as activities of expression as children were getting older. 2) Most children expressed the shape by simple lines instead of the complicated lines. However, they could express in the concrete and free the shape in detail as they are growing in the body, as well as the intellect, and the sociality. 3) The development for observation was associated with the development of eyesight as children were getting older. 4) On the whole, Korean children showed earlier developmental stage of thinking and expressing the western countries children. I wish that this study can help children understand in terms of the development of their pictures and at the same time will be useful for the children's education of fine art.

The main purpose of the study is to develop a computer program in the personal computer which calculates numerically the inflow from the rainfall and displays the inflow hydrograph on a CRT. The computer programs, which were developed for the inflow forecasting of the short-range, employed the storage function method. The program which computes the inflow from the rainfall would be applicable effectively both to planning the daily/weekly power generation and to operating the dam for the flood control. The inflow calculated by the computer program gave a good agreement with the actual inflow for the Choon Chun and the Cheong Pyung dam.
일반 교육-특수교육 완전 통합을 위한 기초 연구 : 탐구조사 An Exploratory Study

Total integration is the most ethical and humanistic way of teaching exceptional children. The purpose of this study were 1) to examine the problems in special education, 2) to investigate the reasons for being unable to integrate exceptional children with their non-handicapped peers, and 3) to obtain suggestions to accentuate total integration recommended by special education teachers. Thirty-seven elementary school special education teachers participated in this study. Problems in special education practice pointed by special education teachers vary from the lack of perceptions of educational leaders, teachers, students, and students to the education of quality special education teachers. Reasons for being unable to integrate exceptional children with their non-handicapped peers were also related to the problems in current special education culture. Special education teachers suggested various ways to accentuate total integration.

This study was performed to evaluate the usefulness of the electrical analogue model in porous medium. Experimental values by the electrical analogue models were compared with those by the sand models and theoretical values by the fragment method. The results obtained are as follows: 1. The flow lines into the sand model were changed according to rising the upstream water level but those of the electrical analogue model weren't changed, and the equipotential lines were revealed to be almost same in the two kinds of models above. 2. The seepage quantities by the fragment method and the electrical analogue model were a little more than those by the sand model. 3. The exit gradients by the fragment method were steeper than those by the sand model and the electrical analogue model. 4. The seepage quantities were increased in proportion to the increment of the exit gradients. By means of the results above, it may be given as a conclusion that the electrical analogue model test is more useful than the sand model test for appling to seepage flow in the field condition, because the electrical analogue model test is more accurate and simpler. Then, the electrical analogue model test will be able to apply to the three-dimension seepage flow problems.
