        대나무 활성탄의 산 개질이 납과 구리 이온의 흡착에 미치는 영향

        질산과 염산에 의한 대나무활성탄(bamboo-based activated carbon, BAC)의 개질이 Pb(Ⅱ)와 Cu(Ⅱ)의 흡착특성에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위해 회분식 흡착실험을 수행하였다. 산 개질에 의해 BAC의 탄소함량은 감소하고 산소함량은 증가하며 pH는 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 염산에 의한 개질은 BAC에 뚜렷한 표면 작용기를 첨가시키지 않았으나 질산에 의한 개질은 카르복실기와 OH 작용기를 첨가시키는 것으로 나타났다. BAC와 산으로 개질된 BAC의 중금속 이온 흡착속도는 2차 속도모델에 의해 적절하게 설명될 수 있는 것으로 나타나 흡착반응의 속도가 물리적 흡착보다는 흡착제와 금속이온들 사이의 전자들의 공유나 교환을 포함하는 화학적 흡착에 의해 결정되는 것으로 나타났다. 실험에 사용된 모든 흡착소재의 등온흡착특성은 Langmuir와 Freundlich 모델에 의해 적절하게 설명될 수 있으며 BAC의 염산에 의한 개질은 중금속 이온의 흡착용량에 큰 영향을 미치지 않으나 표면작용기를 첨가시킨 질산에 의한 개질은 Pb(Ⅱ)와 Cu(Ⅱ)의 흡착용량을 각각 36.0%와 27.3% 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. Effects of acid (HNO3 and HCl) modification on the adsorption properties of Pb(Ⅱ) and Cu(Ⅱ) onto bamboo-based activated carbon (BAC) were investigated through a series of batch experiments. The carbon content increased and oxygen content decreased with acid treatment. HNO3 induced carboxylic acids and hydroxyl functional groups while HCl added no functional group onto BAC. The pseudo-second order model better described the kinetics of Pb(Ⅱ) and Cu(Ⅱ) adsorption onto experimented adsorbents, indicating that the rate-limiting step of the heavy metal sorption is chemical sorption involving valency forces through sharing or exchange of electrons between the adsorbate and the adsorbent. The equilibrium sorption data followed both Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models. The adsorption capacities of BAC were affected by the surface functional groups added by acid modification. The adsorption capacities were enhanced up to 36.0% and 27.3% for Pb(Ⅱ) and Cu(Ⅱ), respectively by the HNO3 modification, however, negligibly affected by HCl.

        The effect of residual stress on the fracture of a coil spring has been examined by measuring residual stress with X-ray stress analyzer. The scanning electron micrographs of the stress rupture specimen have also been examined. The results showed that this failure began at the inclusions where the largest residual stress was measured. Inclusion was acted as a stress concentrator and crack initiator in this fatigue fracture.

        인터넷 벤처비즈니스 평가체계에 관한 연구

        Riding on the wave of the information technology revolution, a slew of internet venture businesses(IVB) came into being. Hence, one of the recent deveopments in Korean capital market has been the proliferation of IVB, which is in accordance with the worldwide trend of 'new economy'. Although the fair valuation is crucial for the nourishment of IVB. It is difficult to apply traditional valuation methods to these firms without reservation. It is due to the facts that most venture firms have little records of performance, grow unprecedently fast, and have highly uncertain future. The main purpose of this study is to suggest performance evaluation system of IVB and to develop KPI(Key Performance Indicators). Our empirical study is based upon Kaplan & Norton's Balance Scorecard (BSC) approach. Specifically, our research has been conducted by the following two subsequent procedures: Firstly, seven internet venture firms have been selected and their executives have been interviewed by FGI(Focus Group Interview) method. Based upon these results, performance indicators been developed. Secondly, by using the above mentioned BSC items(i.e., financial perspective, customer perspective, internal perspective and innovation & learning perspective), questionnaires have been costructed and sent to IVB through e-mail as well as over the Fax. Among the collected 110 samples, reliable 106 samples have been used to build BSC model and to draw our conclusion. In the future study. It would be much better to consider the role of strategy in IVB and the causal relationships among Key Performance Indicators of BSC.

      • 바이오 휘드백 훈련을 통한 이완요법이 생리통 및 스트레스반응경감에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a 4-week relaxation therapy using biofeedback on menstrual pain and stress for 35 sophomore and junior baccalaureate nursing students. A quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group design was used. The relaxation therapy group included training sessions using respiration therapy augmented with biofeedback techniques for self-relaxation. A significant reduction of pain (P<.05) on the 1st and 2nd day of menstruation was reported on the visual analogue scale by the experimental groups, while that the control groups remained relatively unchanged. Also a significant reduction of pain (P<.05) was reported on the delivery pain scale by the experimental groups on the 2nd day of menstruation, while that of the control groups remained unchanged. However, there were no significant differences of pain on the 3rd and 4th day of menstruation between the two groups. A significant reduction of state of anxiety (P<0.5) was reported by experimental groups, while that of the control groups remained relatively unchanged. There were no significant changes in stress measured by the symptom of stress. The results of the study support the benefits of relaxation therapy using biofeedback on pain relief and stress.

      • 습식 생산방식에 의한 재생 잔골재를 사용한 콘크리트의 중성화 저항성 및 건조수축에 관한 실험적 연구

        The purpose of this study was to provide durability data of concrete using recycled fined aggregate which was produced through a wet production process for making it sure whether it can be put to practical use for concrete. In the experiment, recycled fine aggregate was substitute for natural fine aggregate the rate of 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100% each. The results of the study were as follows; 1 The depth of neutralization was become deeper according to the increase of substitutive ratio of recycled fine aggregate. 2 The performance of length alternation was fallen gradually according to the increase of substitutive ratio of recycled fine aggregate. Hut, it showed the similar durability with concrete using natural fine aggregate fewer than 50% substitution ratio. Bused on the above results, it is concluded that the recycled fine aggregate through the wet production process can be used IS fine aggregate on condition that the substitution ration is under 50%.

        대학생들의 우울장애에 관한 연구 : 유병율, 위험요인, 자살행동 및 기능장애

        Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence and correlates of major and minor depressive disorders in college students. Methods : A cross-sectional study was completed on a sample of 906 students (507 men and 399 women) with the self-administered form of Korean version of Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview (K-MINI). Results : Estimated 12-month prevalence of major depressive disorder was 4.2% in men and 9.5% in women, and that of minor depressive disorder was 15.4% in men and 23.2% in women. The factors, 'female gender' and 'age of 20-21', were significantly associated with major depressive disorder. 'Poor adaptation to school' was significantly associated with major depressive disorder both in men and women, but 'poor interpersonal relationship' and 'history of school withdrawal' were associated only in men. Idea of self-injury and suicidal behaviors (suicidal ideation, plan and attempt) were significantly associated with major depressive disorder in women, but were not associated with minor depressive disorder. Conclusion : Major and minor depressive disorders are highly prevalent in the college students. Major depressive disorder was more associated with dysfunctions and suicidal behaviors than minor depressive disorder. Campus-based mental health service is needed for the high-risk students.

      • 2.4GHzWLAN용스위치설계를위한GaAspHEMT소자모델링

        본 논문에서는 2.4GHz WLAN용 스위치 설계를 위한 GaAs pHEMT 소자 모델링을 수행하였다. 스위치 소자 모델로는 공정 파라미터의 함수로써 스위치 특성의 예측이 가능하고, 순방향과 역방향 특성이 대칭성을 갖는 Curtice2(Curtice-Quadratic GaAsFET)모델을 사용하였다. 스위치 동작 영역과 일반적인 스위치 증폭영역에서 소신호 및 대신호 모델들을 각각 추출하였고, 측정된 결과와 모델링 한 결과들을 비교함으로써 제안된 방법이 스위치 설계에 타당함을 확인하였다. In this paper, we have performed GaAs pHEMT device modeling for the switch design of 2.4GHz WLAN. For the switch device model, we have used Curtice2(Curtice-Quadratic GaAsFET) model, which has symmetrical forward and backward characteristics and possible for the prediction of the switch characteristics as a function of process parameters. We have extracted small signal and large signal models at the switch operating region and the general switch amplified region, respectively. By comparing the measured results with the modeling results, we have verified the proposed method is appropriate for the switch design.

      • 피칸(Carya illinoensis C. KocH)으로부터 지질대사물질의 분리 및 동정

        피칸(Carya illinoensis C. Koch) 열매를 80% MeOH로 추출하고, 추출물을 극성에 따라 n-hexane, CHCl_(3), EtOAc, n-BuOH 및 물로 분배, 추출하였다. 이 중 EtOAc분획으로부터 silica gel column chromatography를 반복하여 4종의 지질화합물을 분리하였다. 분리된 화합물 화학구조는, NMR 및 MS 등의 스펙트럼을 해석하여 oleic acid methyl ester, linoleic acid methyl ester, β-sitosterol, daucosterol(3-O-β-D-glucopyaranosyl β-sitosterol)으로 동정하였다. Carya illinoensis C. Koch was extracted with 80% aqueous MeOH, and the concentrated extract was partitioned with n-hexane, CHCl_(3), EtOAc, n-BuOH and H_(2)O, successively. From the EtOAc fraction, four compounds were isolated through the repeated silica gel column chromatographies. From the results of physico-chemical data including NMR, MS and IR, the chemical structures of the compounds were determined as oleic aicd methyl ester(1), linoleic aicd methyl ester(2), β-sitosterol(3), and daucosterol(4). They were the first to be isolated from C. illinoensis.
