        Risperidone 약물치료가 정신분열병 환자의 주의력 및 정보처리 기능에 미치는 영향

        연구목적 : 비정형 항전신병약물의 약물 역동학적 특성은 정신분열병 환자의 양성, 음성 증상 뿐 아니라 인지기능에도 긍정적 효과를 미칠 것으로 기대된다. 본 연구의 목적은 정신분열병 환자에서 8주간의 risperidone 약물치료가 주의력과 정보처리력에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 이것이 임상 증상의 변화와 연관되어 있는지 여부를 알아보는 것이다. 방 법 : 연구 대상은 정신병적 증상의 발현 혹은 악화 상태에 있는 29명의 정신분열병 환자와 정상 대조군 25명이었다. 임상 증상은 치료 전후로 Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale, Clinical Global Impression 및 Extrapyramidal Symptom Rating Scale을 사용하여 평가하였다. 치료 전후의 환자군과 대조군에 대해 전산화 인지기능 검사인 Vigilance Test, Continuous Attention Test, Reaction Unit Tests, Motor Performance Tests를 시행하여 경계력(vigilance), 지속적 주의력, 시각/청각 자극에 대한 정보처리력 및 미세운동 조절능력을 평가하였다. 결 과 : 치료전 환자군은 경계력과 지속적 주의력, 미세운동 조절능력에서 대조군에 비해 유의하게 저하된 성적을 보였으며, 시각/청각 자극에 대한 반응 결정속도도 저하된 경향을 보였다. 8주간의 risperidone 약물치료 후 임상 증상은 양성척도, 음성척도 및 일반정신병리척도에서 모두 유의한 호전을 보였다. 치료 후 환자군은 시청각 복합 자극에 대한 반응 결정 속도의 유의한 향상을 보였는데, 이는 임상 증상의 호전 정도와 상관성을 보이지 않았다. 단순 자극에 대한 반응결정 속도, 주의력, 미세운동 조절기능 등은 치료 전후로 차이를 보이지 않았고, Vigilance Test의 반응시간은 지연되었다. 치료 후 추체외로 증상 정도와 상관성을 보이는 인지기능 검사 항목은 없었다. 결 론 : 정신분열병 환자는 경계력, 지속적 주의력 및 미세운동 조절기능의 결함을 보이며, 이들 결함은 risperidone 약물치료로 임상증상이 호전된 후에도 비슷한 수준으로 유지되는바, 질병 고유의 특성임이 시사되었다. 치료 후 시청각 복합자극에 대한 반응 결정속도가 향상되었는데, 이는 임상 증상 호전과는 무관한 약물 역동학적 기전에 의한 직접적 효과임이 시사된다. Objectives : The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of risperidone on attention and information-processing in schizophrenic patients after 8 weeks of treatment and to determine whether any improvement on cognitive function relates to improvement in psychopathology. Methods : The subjects were 29 schizophrenic inpatients with active psychotic symptoms and the controls were 25 normal volunteers. Pre- and post-treatment clinical symptoms were assessed by Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale, Clinical Global Impression and Extrapyramidal Symptom Rating Scale. Vigilance, continuous attention, the speed of information-processing and fine motor coordinations were assessed by standardized computerized neurocognitive function tests. Results : At baseline, patients showed significantly poor vigilance and continuous attention than normal controls and these functions were not improved after treatment. The positive and negative symptoms and the general psychopathology were significantly improved. The only item of cognitive tasks significantly improved after treatment was decision time to complex audio-visual stimuli in information-processing task. This improvement was not related to the improvements in psychopathology. The level of extrapyramidal symptoms was not related with any of the cognitive function tests items. Conclusions : Treatment with risperidone appeared to exert a favorable effect on the speed of information-processing and this appeared to be due to a direct pharmacodynamic characteristics of the drug.

        Aptamer‑linked immobilized sorbent assay for detecting GMO marker, phosphinothricin acetyltransferase (PAT)

        Background Development of genetically modified crops has rapidly increased in last few years. The most widely grown GM crops express genes that confer herbicide tolerance and insect resistance. Detection system of GM crops is important for safety evaluation before its consumption. Objective The purpose of this research is to detect GM crops, especially PAT, in food-samples. Results The bar gene (PAT protein, herbicide resistant) was cloned in pGEX-4T-1 and expressed by E. coli. The high-affinity PAT-specific single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) aptamers were obtained from a random DNA library. MOE docking study was performed to identify the potential binding region of the selected aptamers on PAT. Aptamer-linked immobilized sorbent assay (ALISA) method was used to detect PAT. Conclusion We screened aptamer against PAT for developing an efficient detection method. The selected PAT specific aptamers, HRPA-05 and HRPA-07, showed the distinct target binding behaviors, and detected PAT protein by aptamer-linked immobilized sorbent assay method with high efficiency and selectivity.

        History explains the reasons for making a particular area famous for one aspect of life, as in the case of Hizen, situated in the northwestern part of Kyushu, Japan. Hizen is the old name referring to the are known as Saga-Ken and Nagasaki-Ken to Koea. Areas such as Karatsu, where the Nagoya place was built, together with Arita, Takeo, Taku, Hirado, etc., became the Korean Potters' settlements. These areas acted as basis for the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592 and Korean Potters were brought here as hostages. They are also referred to as the place of origin in the development of today's ceramic culture in Japan. Among these severl kiln sites of Japan, there were potteries even before the Japanese Invasion of Korea. Pots were being made by Chosun Potteries. However, many changes took place with the discovery of Pottery stone, a raw material for porcelain, by Lee Sampyung(Lee Sampei) in the Izumi mountain region of Arita. Karatsu remained as an area producing earthenware pots and as an active area for making earthenware, the name Karatsu itself, describes the distinct qualities of this particular area. Other area besides Karatsu, fought to produce porcelain wares. Particularly in Hirado, the Keogwan Family-Imamura father and son-discovered a new type of Pottery stone and hence together with Arita, this area began to produce produce porcelain. Furthermore, it has been recorded that in Takeo, a senior to Lee Sampyung, the potter Jongjun, flourised the ceramic culture of Hizen, simultaneously as firm ceramic foundstion by building kilns and so on. At the bases of such a historical development, the efforts of the Chosun potters is no doubt prominent. Yet at the same time, it would not have been possible without the support of the provincial office-Daimyo Pottery, in Hizen as well as in other areas, was a symbolic way of expressing the dignity and the grace of Korea. Therefore, porcelain wares of Japan are referred to as Hanyo(Daimyo's Ceramic studio) porcelain because contains the nature of a particular group rather than the will of an individual. The residence of HIzen Nabesima Daimyo, were determined to continue giving birth to skilled potters. They strategically aimed at creating potters, generation after generation and hence produced what is known as Iro Nabesima and Nabesima ceramics. Moreover, a Korean style kiln known as Kakiemon, was self-developed. Its influence not only spread in Japan itself but also in Europe. It became a product of export through Imari. Takeo, Taku, Hirado and other areas, were no exception in developing ceramic wares with their own distinct characteristics. This study aims to find the relationship between the origins and the development of ceramics in a particular place. I have concentrated in conducting research works on the areas where Korean influence was most prominent without simply focusing on Hizen-Karatsu, Arita, Takeo, Taku, Hirado and so on. Furthermore, research was done on the specific strategies and conditions which enabled the development of Japanese ceramics a part from the influence of the Korean potters on hostage. I hope that this study will contribute to similarities in terminology between the two nations and the continuous research on Japanese-Korean Ceramic Research.

      • 초·중·고 학생들의 과학 탐구 능력 추이 분석을 위한 종단적 연구

        본 연구에서는 우리 나라 초·중·고등학교 학생들의 과학 탐구 능력에 대한 종단적 추이를 분석하였다. 1997년에는 우종옥 등(1998)이 개발한 검사지를 사용하였으며, 1999년에는 이를 일부만 수정하여 사용하였다. 조사 대상은 성별, 지역별 등을 고려하여 표집하였다. 조사된 자료는 각각 횡단적으로 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 학생들의 과학 탐구능력이 어떻게 변해 가는지 종단적 추이를 분석하였다. 조사 결과 초등학생들의 과학 탐구 능력은 유의미한차이가 없었으나, 중·고등학생들의 과학 탐구 능력은 유의미하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 학교 과학 교육의 질을 과학적으로 관리하기 위해서는 교육과정이 추구하는 교육 목표의 달성이 성공적으로 이루어지고 있는지를 국가수준에서 주기적으로 측정하여 부진의 원인을 진단하고, 개선 방안을 계속 연구하여야 할 것이다. The longitudinal trend of elementary and secondary students' science process skills were investigated to monitor the progress of science learning. Science process skill test, developedin an earlier study on developing a national science process skills assessment system, was revised and administered for the study on March, 1999. Subjects were sampled nation wide according to sex and region. The results of this assessments were compared to those administered on February, 1997. The results showed little difference on science process skills among elementary school students. However, secondary students showed marked increase in science process skills. More systematic and long-term research for assessing science process skills should be planned and performed periodically to provide empirical and foundational data for educational policy making.

        척골 지단 신경의 전기생리학적 연구

        The ulnar nerve extends down the arm, across the elbow, and into the hand. It provides sensation to the little and ring fingers and activates many of the small muscles in the hand. The determination of peripheral nerve conduction velocity is an important part of ulnar nerve evaluation. The electrodiagnostic value as neurophysiologic investigative procedure has been known for many years but normal value of digital nerve was not reported in korea. The purpose of this investigation was to measure the digital nerve conduction velocity of ulnar nerve for obtain clinically useful reference value and compare difference in each fingers and then compare with the other countries. 71 normal Korean volunteers (age, 19-65 years; 142 hands) examined who has no history of peripheral neuropathy, diabetic mellitus, chronic renal failure, endocrinedisorders, anti-cancer medicine, anti-tubercle medicine, alcoholism, trauma, radiculopathy. Nicolet Viking Ⅱ(EMG machine) was use for detected conduction velocity and amplitude of digital nerve in ulnar nerve. Data analysis was performed using SPSS. Descriptive analysis was used for obtain mean and standard deviation and independent t-test was used to compare with ring and little finger. Conduction velocity of the right ring finger was 57.44m/sec and little finger was 55.32msec. The left ring finger was 55.55msec and little finger was 54.11msec. Amplitude of the right ring finger was 30.28µV and little finger was 48.36µV. The left ring finger was 30.67µV and little finger was 57.76µV. There were significantly difference between ring and little in amplitude (p<.05) but there were no statistically difference between conduction velocity of ring and little finger (p>.05). The amplitude of little finger are greater than ring finger. The present results revealed that electodiagnosis can easily perform in little finger for digital nerve of ulnar nerve study.

      • Ni-Zn-P 및 Fe-Zn-P 3원계 합금도금에 관한 헐셀 실험 연구

        A experimental study on the electrodeposition of Ni-Zn-P and Fe-Zn-P alloy onto a steel has been carried out using a Hull-cell apparatus. The results show that the optinum current efficency of Ni-Zn-P and Fe-Zn-P alloy was 80mA/cm^(2), 120mA/cm^(2) respectively. And the desirable cell distance of Ni-Zn-P and Fe-Zn-P alloy was 6cm, 6.5cm. For the alloying of P, it was obtained that the optimum concentration of NaH_(2)PO_(2) was 20 g/ℓ.

        정중운동신경과 척골운동신경의 전기생리학적 연구

        The determination of peripheral nerve conduction velocity is and important part to electrodiagnosis. Its value as neurophysiologic investigative procedure has been known for many years but normal value of median and ulnar motor nerve was poorly reported in Korea. To evaluate of median and ulnar motor nerve terminal latency, amplitude of CMAP(compound muscle action potential), conduction velocity and F-wave latency for obtain clinically useful reference value. 71 normal volunteers(age,19-65 years;142 hands) examined who has no history of peripheral neuropathy, diabetic mellitus, chronic renal failure, endocrine disorders, anti-cancer medicine, anti-tubercle medicine, alcoholism, trauma, radiculopathy. Nicolet Viking Ⅱ was use for detected terminal latency, amplitude of CMAP, conduction velocity and F-wave latency of median and ulnar motor nerve. Data analysis was performed using SPSS. Descriptive analysis was used for obtain mean and standard deviation, independent t-test was used to compare between Rt and Lt side also compare between different in genders. The results are summarized as follows: 1. Median motor nerve terminal latency was right 3.00ms, left 2.99ms and there was no significantly difference between right and left side and genders. 2. Median motor nerve amplitude of CMAP was right 17.26mV, left 17.50mV and there was no significantly differences between right and left side and genders. 3. Median motor nerve conduction velocity was right 57.89m/sec, left 58.03m/sec and there was no significantly difference between right and left side and genders. 4. Median motor nerve F-wave latency was right 25.74ms, left 25.59ms and there was significantly differences between genders. 5. Ulnar motor nerve terminal latency was right 2.38ms, left 2.45ms and there was significantly differences between right and left side. 6. Ulnar motor nerve amplitude of CMAP was right 15.99mV, left 16.02mV and there was no significantly differences between right and left side and genders. 7. Ulnar motor nerve conduction velocity was right 60.35m/sec, left 59.73/sec and there was no significantly differences between right and left side and genders. 8. Ulnar motor nerve F-wave latency was right 25.53ms, left 25.57ms and there was significantly differences between genders.

        강직성 슬관절에서의 슬관절 전치환술

        목적: 강직이 동반된 슬관절염 환자에서 슬관절 전치활술의 문제점, 결과 및 합병증을 분석하고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 1994년 1월부터 2000년 12월까지 슬관절 강직(운동 범위 50도이하)이 있는 환자에게 슬관절 전치환술을 시행하여 2년 이상 추시가 가능하였던 16례를 대상으로 하였다. 수술은 관절 강직이 발생한지 평균 12.2년(1~40년)에 시행하였으며, 추시기간은 평균 3.3년(2~6년)이었다. 16례 중 남자 3례, 여자 13례였고, 평균 나이는 55.8세(34세~75세)였다. 감염에 의한 후유증 6례로 가장 많았고 그 외 퇴행성 관절염 4례, 외상 후 관절염 3례, 류마티스성 관절염 3례의 순이었다. 술 후 평가는 추시기간 중의 운동 범위와 HSS score 및 합병증을 분석하였다. 결과: 관절 운동 범위는 술 전 평균 31.6도(0~50도)에서 추시시 평균 95.4도(80~120도)로 증가하였으며, 1례에서만 5도의 굴곡 구축이 있었다. HSS score는 술 전 평균 59.6점(43~76점)에서 추시시 평균 84.6점(76~92점)으로 향상되었다. 1례에서 수술 중 슬개건 부분파열이 있었으나 보조기 착용과 적극적 재활로 술 후 1년째 90°의 관절 운동이 가능했다. 표재성 감염 1례는 창상의 변연절제술 후 피부이식으로 치유되었고, 심부 감염된 3례는 추후 관절 유합술을 시행하였다. 결론: 슬관절 전지환슬은 강직된 슬관절의 기능을 회복시킬 수 있는 좋은 술기이지만 감염등의 합병증을 고려해서 시행되어야 한다. Purpose: To evlauate the results of TKRA (Total knee replacement arthroplasty) for the treatment of stiff knee. Methods & Materials : TRKA has been performed for 18 cases of stiff knee ( ROM < 50° ) between January 1994 and December 2000. 16 cases which have been followed up for more than 2 years were analysed. Average follow-up was 3.3 years(2~6 years). 3 were male and 13 female. The average age was 55.8 years(34~75 years). Sequales of infection were most with 6 cases and followed by osteoarthritis (4 cases, 2 cases had been performed arthroscopic debridement) and rheumatoid arthritis (3 cases) and traumatic arthritis (3 cases) in order. TKRA was performed on average 12.2 years (1~40 years) after knee stiffness has been developed. We evaluate the results with ROM, HSS score and complications. Results : Average ROM was increased from 31.6°(0°~50°) preoperatively to 95.4°(80°~120°) postoperatively. 5° of flexion contracture was present in only 1 cases. Average HSS score was improved from 59.6 points preoperatively to 84.6 points postoperatively. The patella tendon was partially ruptured in 1 case surgery, but by brace application and rehabilitative exercise, ROM was improved to 90°, 1 year post operatively. There were 1 superficial skin infection which was resolved by revision of wound and skin graft, and deep infection in 3 cases, which needed knee fusion finally. Conclusion : TKRA is a good method for improving function in knee stiffness although infection risk is high.
