The compressional properties of various types of non-woven fabrics, such as compressibility, work of pressure, compressional recovery, deformation of thickness, packing factor, β and α are studid. Among these parameters, α and β are found from formular which represents the pressure-thickness curve. Also the initial thickness of fabrics is investigated and the relation between the initial thickness and those formerly mentioned properties is analyzed. Based on the analysis, the following results are obtained, 1. Work of compression, compressional recovery and compressibility of non-woven fabrics are attributed to the initial thickness. 2. Parameter β which represents the power in formular of pressure-thickness curve is directly proportional to the compressibility. 3. Parameter α which represents the tangential slope at any given point on the pressure-thickness curve is inversly proportional approximately to the factors, such as thickness deformation, work of compression and compressional recovery etc. 4. Work of compression, compressional recovery and compressibility of non-woven fabrics which are composed of viscose rayon, polyester, and nylon are larger than those of non-woven fabrics which are composed of viscose rayon and polyester only.

This study is concerned with the electric power consumption in relation to the effect of air flow around the rotating bobbin which tends to be speeded up for the increase of the production efficiency. Based on the basic theory of air friction, the frictional coefficient of air was calculated from the electric power consumption by revolving bobbin. A critical transition speed existing depending on the shape of bobbins has been found from the relationship between the frictional coefficient of air and Reynolds number. Factors influencing on the air flow behavior were observed from the velocity component of air around the revolving bobbin with high speed.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to examine the importance of attributes in resorts and to help the managers of resort in marketing, management and sales promotion in such a competitive situation of the resort industry for member/non-member.This study adapted and modified components of a number of previously tests and validated research instruments to make the hypotheses of test. This exploratory study surveyed a random sample of 1,000 resorts tourists. After follow-up procedures were applied, responses rate of 85 percent was achieved. However, useable responses 812 of the 856 questionnaires.Findings generally indicate that through the classification of member/non-member and preferential importance-satisfaction group, each group make an assumption to understand the keynote of vital statistics and the difference of utilization circumstantial variable and a variable in the interrelation, and through the verification, they try to get useful information in the search of management strategy. In the interrelation of importance of attribute by the member/non-member tries to authorize to understand the difference between any other attributes and it.Therefor, this study presented the reform measures of management as follows. First, the vital statistical trait and utilization circumstantial variable to the product and service, institution and surroundings, promotion, scenery constitution., and regional traffic means and price should be deliberated to get rid of importance of attribute. Second, the employee and equipment of service should be developed to reinforce the customer service. Third, it is necessary to develop the new products and provide the new experience and atmosphere for tourists. Forth, the marketers have to classify the tourist into a high-demand season and a low-demand season. Fifth, there is a need to apply a competitive price strategy non-member. In other words, marketer should solve a pricing problem in dealing with non-member showing a meaningful difference, and provide service and low price in using utilities to keep star resort position.The tourist behavior in choosing resort facilities should be continued studying theoretically for managers or marketer in the resort industry.

In present paper, the method to determine the optimal reference voltage of an exhaust oxygen sensor which affects the conversion efficiency of the three-way catalytic converter was considered. An engine dynamometer test was performed to characterize the relation between the conversion efficiency of a catalytic converter and the reference voltage of an oxygen sensor. Based on experimental results, the optimal reference voltage of the test engine was determined and this result was evaluated by measuring the emission level from chassis dynamometer test.

This paper is studied to improve the curriculum of the College of Industrial Education of Chungnam National University, which is more helpful for the students to become a competent teacher of technical high school. The thesis includes the curriculum of general, professional, technical subjects and so on. The main conclusions are summarized as follows; 1) The current curriculum of the College of Industrial Education was formed on a wholesale manner following the basis of standard courses for some characterized engineering colleges. But the suggested is conformed to the curriculum system of CNU in credits and hours. 2) The current technical subjects are mainly based on the curriculum of college of engineering, but the newly suggested technical subjects are conformed to the curriculum of technical high school as following that some departments of engineering are founded in the College of Industrial Education. 3) In current curriculum, the ratio of reguired technical subjects to elective technical subjects is 85:15. In suggested curriculum, the ratio of it is largely changed to 45:55 for effective operation of minor cousres. And the lists of the subjects for minor courses are changed from subjects for College of Science to subjects for College of Engineering.

The anisotropy of nonwoven fabrics of various types has been studied in terms of modulus, Poisson's ratio, stress-strain, fibre curl, and fibre orientation. Tables and diagrams for these quantities are given. Another important factor is the degree of curl in the fibres, and results are compared from different .types of fabric and different directions. The variations in mechanical properties with direction are explained in terms of the structual features.

This investigation is about the characteristics of phytoplankton community and physciochemical water quality of specific 6-point the Woon-kog stream system in upsteam of the Andong Lake. DO value was showed over 8.1㎎/L at each site and COD_Mn, BOD, T-N, T-P tend to increase as they stream down and that the existence and dominance of phytoplankton was low and it was difficult to conclude the definite correlation of water quality and phytoplankton community. Finally, it seemed to be desirable that alternatives for pollutional reduction should be made and performed on the basis of the continuous monitoring of the inflow to preserve the Andong Lake.
