<P>In this article, the condition diagnosis and form error prediction models for lens injection moulding process are developed based on a response surface method by using features extracted from in-process cavity pressure signals. In the lens injection moulding experiments, cavity pressure signals are captured by pressure sensors embedded in a lens mould, and form errors of manufactured lenses are measured afterwards. Then, three features such as filling point, maximum pressure and inflection point pressure are identified from the measured cavity pressure profile, and they are used to formulate the response surface functions for each injection moulding condition. In addition, the response surface functions for the lens form error with the input variables of the above-mentioned three features are also formulated. It is reported that the overall average accuracies for the lens injection moulding condition diagnosis and form error estimation are better than 97% and 80%, respectively, in the actual industrial site.</P>
Nailbed malignant melanoma in three dogs

Three 8-12-year-old male cocker spaniels presented with an appendicular mass accompanied by pain, inflammation, lameness, and loss of nail in the digits of the forelimb or hindlimb. A histological examination revealed dermal masses of the digit composed of numerous neoplastic cells with marked pleomorphism and high mitosis. The neoplastic cells showed a strong invasive tendency into the epidermis and adjacent bony tissues, such as distal phalanx. Immunohistochemistry of the neoplastic cells in three masses revealed positive reactions for Melan-A. These three dogs were diagnosed as nailbed malignant melanoma in the digit based on the history, clinical signs, and histopathologic features.
한국인 모유로부터 분리한 Enterococcus faecium KHM-11의 Amylase 활성과 쌀 첨가 요구르트의 특성

This studies were carried out to assess fermentation properties of amylase activity and added rice yogurt of Enterococcus faecium KHM-11 isolated from Korean human milk. The amylase activity of Enterococcus faecium KHM-11 was above 23 units. Characterization of carbohydrate fermentation of Enterococcus faecium KHM-11 has D-ribose, D-lactose, L-arabinose and starch. Titratable acidity and viable count of lactic acid bacteria of 4% rice yogurt was higher compared to the 0%. Therefore we were discussed Enterococcus faecium KHM-11 is suitable microorganism for fermented milk added rice powder. Hydrolysates of sugars of fermented milk with 4% rice powder cultured Enterococcus faecium KHM-11 were analyzed by TLC and HPLC. Hydrolysates of lactose and galactose were revealed and hydrolysates of glucose was not revealed in results of TLC and HPLC.
체간 안정화운동이 정상성인의 균형, 폐활량, 근활성도에 미치는 영향

Purpose : This study examines the effect of trunk stabilization program on the body balance, lung capacity, and muscular activity of the rectus abdominis and external oblique of healthy adults. Method : A survey was conducted for 20 students of K University located in the city of Y in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province of Korea. The trunk stabilization program consisted of a hollowing exercise, curl-up, bridging exercise, and birddog exercise. This was performed 14 times in total (7 times a week for two weeks). For analysis, good balance was used to measure both static and dynamic balancing ability. A peak flow meter was used to measure the maximum expiratory flow, and MP150 was used to measure muscular activity of the rectus abdominis and external oblique. Result : After the trunk stabilization program, the participants showed a difference in score and time taken to achieve static and dynamic balance, and muscular activity of the rectus abdominis and external oblique at a statistically significant level (p<0.05). However, no significant difference was observed in the left-to-right distance and front-to-back distance in a dynamic balance, and the lung capacity (p>0.05). Conclusion : The results showed that the trunk stabilization program was effective in enhancing both static and dynamic balancing ability and muscular activity. It also increased the lung capacity although the change was not at a statistically significant level.
지방공공재 수요함수를 활용한 U-City서비스의 가치 추정

본 논문은 Bergstrom and Goodman(1973)의 공공성 추정기법을 토대로, U-City서비스의 공공재적 가치를 추정한다. 기초자치단체의 인구 및 재정자료를 통해 공공재 수요함수를 추정하는 기존의 모형은 충분한 표본데이터 및 제도적 기반이 부족한 U-City서비스의 가치평가과정에 적용하는데 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존의 수요함수모형을 활용하여 공공성을 추정할 수 있는 방법으로 U-City서비스의 더미변수를 통해 서비스 구축유무를 구분하여 비교하는 방법을 제안하고, 더미변수를 사용해 화성시의 재정자료를 분석하여 U-City서비스가 공공서비스의 유형별로 나타나는 공공성의 차이를 더욱 강조하고 있다는 결론을 제시한다.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Four BDT-TPD polymers (<B>PA</B>–<B>PD</B>) were synthesized by modifying the alkylthienyl chains on BDT, placing spacer group between BDT and TPD, and installing extended conjugated side chains on the BDT of the polymer to investigate the correlation between structure and photovoltaic performance for these polymers. The molecular weight of <B>PA</B>–<B>PD</B> polymers ranged from the highest (<I>Mn</I> = 80 kDa for <B>PA</B>) to the lowest (<I>Mn</I> = 7.9 kDa for <B>PD</B>), and their decomposition temperatures at 5% weight loss were in the range 401–435 °C. PA, <B>PB</B>, and <B>PC</B> showed similar UV–vis absorption spectra; however, <B>PD</B> showed much broader absorption spectrum in the entire UV–vis region, because of the extended conjugated side chains. The HOMO levels of the polymers were −5.72, −5.63, −5.48, and −5.61 eV for <B>PA</B>, <B>PB</B>, <B>PC</B>, and <B>PD</B>, respectively, indicating very low-lying HOMO energy levels. The bandgaps of these polymers were calculated and found to be in the range 1.85–1.88 eV. The theoretical calculations clearly show that the torsional angles between the alkylthienyl group and BDT unit of the simplified dimer correlated to the π-orbital delocalization, suggesting that the HOMO π-electrons of vertically aligned conjugated side chains do not delocalize well in the polymers such as <B>PA</B>, <B>PB</B>, and <B>PC</B> bearing high torsional angles. The optimized weight ratios of the polymer to PC<SUB>61</SUB>BM were determined to be 1:1, 1:1.5, and 1:1 for <B>PA</B>, <B>PC</B>, and <B>PD</B>, respectively, and the average PCEs of the devices were 5.36%, 4.62%, and 2.74% for <B>PA</B>, <B>PC</B>, and <B>PD,</B> respectively, after optimization with 1,8-diiodooctane (DIO). A relatively small amount of DIO as an additive was necessary to reach the optimal PCEs of the devices, and the device incorporating PC needed only 0.5% DIO to obtain the best PCE. The AFM study reveals that the blend films after adding DIO showed much smooth morphologies, and the blend film of <B>PA</B> exhibited more crystalline property, as shown by the XRD analysis.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Four PBDT-TPD polymers were designed and investigated by engineering alkyl group, spacer, and side chains. </LI> <LI> The polymer with branched alkyl chain shows higher PCEs due to better morphology and excellent <I>V</I> <SUB> <I>oc</I> </SUB> (>1 V). </LI> <LI> The polymer with a thiophene spacer shows higher <I>J</I> <SUB> <I>sc</I> </SUB> due to higher planarity of the polymer backbone. </LI> <LI> The polymer with vertically extended conjugated side chain exhibits broader range of absorption. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
