해외 패션잡지의 온라인 기사를 활용한 가방 디자인 분석

This study analyzed bag designs using overseas online fashion magazine articles. While most of the preceding studies focused on consumers’ preferences for and behaviors in purchasing bags, this study emphasizes the design planning and product development of bags from the perspective of designers. The study aimed to analyze the current trending bag designs through an empirical study using fashion magazines. As a research method, based on previous studies and references, the criteria for analyzing bag designs were established, including the wearing method, structural form, size, material, texture techniques, and bag details. Focusing on popular global fashion magazines including Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and Marie Claire, 29 online articles published from 2020 through 2022 were collected. The study categorized the words and phrases mentioned in the subheadings of the online articles and analyzed their frequency and content. Firstly, bag designs have been characterized by a strong classic and retro sensibility. The most common shapes were angular and square, featuring quilting techniques, monogrammed jacquard techniques, frames, handles, and various chain embellishments. Secondly, bag designs have become more functional, featuring designs that can be worn around the waist, body, or shoulder without the use of hands, designs with multiple compartments in a single bag, and a polarization of bag sizes between very large and very small. Thirdly, recent bag designs have emphasized sustainability. The bag’s shape changes depending on wearing methods and various materials such as artificial and recycled leather were used; waterproof washable rubber has been developed as an alternative to natural leather. Fourthly, while the shape of the bag became simpler, the design emphasized metal accessories such as studs, buckles, and chains in the details. The results of this study are expected to provide foundational data for bag design development and to assist bag brands in their product development.
Cytologic Features of ALK-Positive Pulmonary Adenocarcinoma

Background: The aim of this study was to determine the cytologic features of anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) expressing pulmonary adenocarcinoma. Methods: We analyzed the cytopathological findings of 15 cases of endobronchial ultrasound guided aspiration and a case of bronchial washing. These cases were selected based on the histomorphology of ALK-rearranged lung adenocarcinoma. Results: Cytology showed mucinous (81.3%) and hemorrhagic (50%) backgrounds. The cells were arranged in tubulopapillary or tubulocribriform patterns (93.8%), and clusters (56.3%) admixed with signet ring cell features (87.5%). The tumor cells were monotonous and uniform with vesicular nuclei and a small nucleolus. Conclusions: The characteristic findings were sheets showing a tubulopapillary or tubulocribriform appearance, with vesicular nuclei and a bland chromatin pattern (p<0.001). Scattered signet ring cells were helpful in suggesting ALK-positive adenocarcinoma (p<0.001).
애니메이션 캐릭터를 이용한 토들러복 디자인 연구 : 아기공룡 둘리를 중심으로 Focusing on "Little Dionsaur Dooly"

Animation character market in Korea has been dominated by licensed characters (e.g., Walt Disney's) of which market share is 80%. While market share for Korean characters such as "Mashimaro" and "Little Dinosaur Dooly" is increasing, the application of such characters to fashion products is still limited. For the development of the Korean character market, application of original animation characters should be applied to various fashion products. The main purpose of this study was to design toddler apparel line using "Little Dinosaur Dooly," one of the most popular domestic animation characters. The design focus is the green color of Dooly because the color is the distinctive concept of the brand. Results of the study indicated that developing toddler apparel line with a Korean animation character was a meaningful attempt, as imported licensed characters were dominant in domestic fashion market. The key differentiating factor was the use of green color. In addition, use of various supporting characters, namely Dooly's friends, demonstrated potential line extension forming animation character groups similar to Warner Brothers' "Looney Tunes."
복합심장기형과 동반된 폐의 얼기형성동맥병증- 2예 보고 -

Hypertensive pulmonary vascular disease can develop in those cases of congenital cardiac shunt in which critical levels of pulmonary artery pressure and flow are reached and exceeded. We have experienced two cases of plexogenic arteriopathy in complex congenital heart disease and tried to evaluate of distribution of arterial lesions by total mapping of the explanted lung. Case 1 and 2 were 12-year-old boy and 36 year-old man. They were treated with combined heart-lung transplantation. Mapping of the both lungs was done, and graded according to Heath and Edward’s grading scheme. The elastic pulmonary artery was tortuous, dilated and aortic configuration. Both lungs showed mostly grade 3. Plexiform lesion or veinlike branches of hypertrophied muscular arteries arosed in a lateral branch of a muscular artery that might be proximal to an area of occlusion. Comprising the right and left lung, the right was more severe than the left. By getting closer to the distal part, the grade tended to increase to 4 to 5. By analyzing the pulmonary lobe, severe pulmonary hypertension of grade 4 or 5 was comparatively disseminated throughout the right lung. On the other hand, in the left lung, the grade of the lower lobe was higher than that of the upper lobe, and within the upper lobe, there was a tendency for the grade of inferior segment to be higher than that of the corresponding apical segment.

Adenoid cystic carcinoma of the uterine cervix is a rare tumor accounting for less than 1% of all cervical adenocarcinoma. This tumor is characterized by aggressive biological behavior with frequent local recurrence or metastatic spread, postmenopausal onset, and occasional association with conventional squamous cell carcinoma. The cytologic diagnosis of adenoid cystic carcinoma in the uterine cervix is often difficult because of negative smear due to intact overlying mucosa, cytologic findings mimicking endometrial cells, and masquerade as squamous ceil carcinoma. Recently we have experienced a case of adenoid cystic carcinoma arising in the uterine cervix, which was identified on the routine Papanicolaou smear and was histologically confirmed by the consequent biopsy. The smear showed abundant cellularity composed of relatively uniform cells. The tumor cells were arranged in small clusters, acini, naked cells, and loose sheets with abortive cribriform pattern. There were scattered globoid basement membrane-like materials and tumor diathesis. The nuclei were pleomorphic and showed hyperchromatic and coarsely granular choromatin with inconspicuous nucleoli. The punch biopsy of the uterine cervix showed typical histologic findings of adenoid cystic carcinoma characterized by tumor nests composed of hyperchromatic uniform basaloid cells, cribriform pattern, and cylindrical hyaline bodies.

Background : It has long been recognized that birefringent paticles (BP) are associated with pulmonary disease. And there is increasing evidence that BP cause fibrotic reaction within the lung depending on both particle size and composition. Methods : We collected 41 cases of usual interstitial pneumonia (UIP) and 101 cases of normal lung tissue from control group including squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma and bullae. BPs in the 0.1 to 10 μm size range under polarizing microscope was measured and counted by image analyzer. Results : BP counts are mean 244.05/10 HPF in UIP and 71.4/10 HPF in control group. BPs in UIP is three times more than control (p=0.000). It increased significantly by the age of patients (p=0.000). Conclusions : BPs in lung might be important cause of inflammation and fibrosis in UIP.
