Clipping for intracranial aneurysms is done to achieve complete occlusion of the aneurysm without a remnant sac. Despite modern advancements of neurosurgical techniques, morbidity related to the clipping of intracranial aneurysms still exists. Clip occlusion of a parent artery or small hidden perforators commonly leads to permanent neurological deficits, and is a serious and unwanted complication. Thus, preserving blood flow in the branches and perforators of a parent artery is very important for successful surgery without postoperative morbidity and mortality. The aim of this review article is to discuss the consequences of perforator injury and how to avoid this phenomenon in aneurysm surgeries using intraoperative monitoring devices.
모델 가스터빈 연소기에서의 합성가스 화염 특성과 배기배출물 예측

새로운 청정 연료의 필요성과 차세대 항공우주 및 발전산업의 개발을 위하여 많은 연구가 이루어져왔다. 또한 대기환경에 대한 관심과 배기배출물의 규제가 심각해져가면서 이를 줄이고자하는 움직임 또한 활발하게 수행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 합성가스 연소에 대한 실험을 다양한 연소 조건에서 수행하고자 한다. 연소실험을 위하여 부분 예혼합 화염의 형태를 갖는 모델 가스터빈 연소기를 제작하여 실험을 수행하였다. 그결과 연료조성에 따라 화염의 형태에 따른 특징과 연소후 생성되는 기연가스에 대한 분석, 마지막으로 인공신경망을 이용하여 배기배출물의 예측을 수행할 수 있었다. Due to concerns about environmental problems and development for aerospace and power plant industries, many research groups have been studied recently. To address the problems, the clean coal technology and research have been conducted actively. In this study, combustion experiment was performed to investigate the combustion characteristics for H2/CO/CH4 syngas in the partially premixed model gas turbine combustor. The results of the data analysis for this study have flame structure characteristics and exhaust gas emissions. As well, Artificial neural networks is applied for estimating the emissions using experimental data set.

최근 급격한 기후변화에 대응하기 위하여 새로운 형태의 발전방법의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 그 중 석탄가스를 사용한 복합발전기술이 이 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 발전방법으로 부각이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 석탄가스 연소에 대한 실험을 태안 IGCC 플랜트의 연료조성과 네덜란드 Buggenum 의 연료조성을 대상으로 수행하고자 한다. 연소실험을 위하여 GE7EA 연소기를 1/3 비율로 축소하여 모델 연소기를 제작, 실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과 연료조성에 대한 화염의 형태를 구분 지을 수 있었고, 화염의 안정화 선도를 통하여 Buggenum 과 태안의 IGCC 플랜트의 연소특성을 비교할 수 있었다. Due to concerns about an environmental problem such as global warming, new power generation has been required in recent years. IGCC(Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle) using syngas can solve the problem. The current study investigates the syngas combustion characteristics about Taean IGCC plant and Buggenum IGCC plant. Model combustor is scaled down to 1/3 from GE7EA gas turbine. The results of the data analysis for this study have 5 different flame structures each combustion condition and the flame stability map of each IGCC plant.

Although malignant transformation of meningiomas has been reported, it is extremely rare in meningiomas of ventricular system. Less than 2% of all meningiomas show malignant transformation from benign meningioma. We report a case of meningioma with early recurrence and malignant transformation and investigated possible underlying factors using immunohistochemistry for PCNA and p53 protein expression.
한국 성인에서 척수원추 위치의 다양성 - 자기 공명 영상 연구 -

Objectives : There have been several studies documenting the changing level of the conus throughout infancy and childhood, but there is only a little detailed study that documents the range of conus positions in a living adult population, especially in Korean, without spinal deformity. Methods : we made a sequential study of magnetic resonance images of the lumbar spine to determine the variation in position of the conus medullaris in 650 living korean adults population without spinal deformity who checked MRI to identify the cause of low back pain. The study population consisted of patients over the age of 16 years. A T1-weighted, midline, sagittal image was reviewed for identifying the postion of conus. This location was recorded in relation to the upper, middle, or lower third of the adjacent vertebral body or the adjacent intervertebral disc. Results : The study group consisted of 305 men(47%) and 345 women(53%) with a mean age 45.9 years(range, 16-79 years). The conus existed commonly at the middle third of L1(131cases, 20.2%), at the L1-2 intervertebral space(129cases, 19.8%), and the lower third of L1(123cases, 18.9%). The mean position of conus was the lower third of L1(range, middle third of T12 to middle third of L3). Conclusions : The mean position of conus was at the lower third of L1(range, middle third of T12 to middle third of L3). This results was same as that of foreign study. Our results of living korean adult population could allow for safe clinical procedures such as lumbar puncture, spinal anesthesia, and help to explain the differences among observed neurologic injuries from fracture-dislocation at the thoracolumbar junction.
부분 예혼합 가스터빈 연소기에서의 비연소 전달함수 계측으로부터의 화염전달함수 특성 파악

In order to identify the characteristics of the flame transfer function gain, cold-flow transfer function was introduced, which is the part of the combustion instability research. Nitrogen and carbon dioxide was used to obtain the cold-flow transfer function and input/output variables was measured by hot wire anemometry. Density and fluid flow rate affect the cold-flow transfer function gain and peak frequency. In addition, acoustic resonance frequency affects the peak frequency of gain in the fuel feeding line.
인공신경망을 이용한 모델 가스터빈 연소기에서 H₂/CO/CH₄ 합성가스의 NOx 배출량 예측

This paper describes on the flame structure using OH<SUP>*</SUP>, CH<SUP>*</SUP>, C₂<SUP>*</SUP>chemiluminescence images and EINOx emission for H₂/CO/CH₄ syngas in the partially premixed model gas turbine combustor. The flame length and flame temperature for various fuel compositions cause the tendency of EINOx. EINOx increases with decreasing flame length and increasing flame temperature, respectively. Artificial neural network (ANN) use for predicting EINOx emissions with flame temperature, flame length and air flow rate. From the results, artificial neural network will be utilized as monitoring the gas turbine combustor operation state.
