        L1210 및 $P388D_1$에 대한 고삼 추출물의 세포독성에 관한 연구(II)

        This study was carried out to evaluate cytotoxicity of the extracts from Sophora flavescens Ait. against L1210 (lymphocytic leukemia) and $P388D_1$ (lymphoid neoplasms) cells in vitro. We have determined cytotoxicity by MTT {3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl-2H-tetrazo-liumbromide} assay. The order of cytotoxicity of Sophora flavescens Ait. extracts against L1210 and $P388D_1$ cells in vitro is as follows: AM> EASF > CFSF > MTSF > WSF > HXSF and AM> EASF> CFSF> MTSF> HXSF> WSF. These results suggest that the ethyl acetate soluble extract of Sophora flavescens Ait may be a valuable choice for the development of antitumor agents.

        한국무용수의 유산소성 능력 및 최대지방연소 운동강도 연구

        This study was aimed to analyze the possibility of adaptation of korean dance for weight control by comparison of maximal aerobic capacity(VO₂max) and maximal fat oxidation exercise intensity(MFOEI) among female korean dancers(KD), female students of department of physical education(PE) and non-activated females(NF), Fourty-five healthy young females volunteers(12 PE, 18 KD, 15 NF) served as subjects after signing an informed consent form. Following an overnight fast, each subject completed stretching and tree minute warm-up at 3.0mph of speed and 10% of grade, followed by a maximal Bruce protocol treadmill test. Expired gases were collected and analyzed each one minute usi ng Quinton metabolic cart. The MFOEI was defined as the intensity which resulted in maximal fat kilocaroie(Fkcal) as determined by converting VO₂ to Fkcal at each treadmill stage using RER and a Lusk table. The absolute VO₂max(L/min) was the significant highest in PE group(p<.05), but there was no significant difference in relative VO₂max(㎖/㎏/min) between PE and KD. The relative VO₂max of KD was the significant higher in comparison with NF. MFOEI as expressed %VO₂max(㎖/㎏/min) was not significantly difference among groups, but Fkcal in MFOEI was the significant lowest in NF in comparison with KD and PE(p<.05). In MFOEI, VO₂ was the significant highest(p<.05) and RER of KD was the significant lower in comparison with NF(p<.05). Consequently, it is appears that Korean dance which performed regular physical active has the possibility of adaptation as exercise program of weight control because of increasing fat oxidation during high exercise intensity as well as improvement of aerobic capacity.

        고삼추출물의 항균효과 (Ⅰ)

        In order to develop a antimicrobial agent, dried Sophora flavescens Ait. was extracted with several solvents, and then antimicrobial activity was investigated. The minimal inhibitory concentration(MIC) of the extracted substance against microorganisms were also examined. Antimicrobial activity of the initial methanol extract from the sample was the strongest compared to those of other solvent extracts such as H2O, n-hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate and methanol. The methanol extract had strong growth inhibition activity against gram-postive bacteria (MIC, 25~50mcg/ml) such as B. subtilis and S. aureus. Among gram positive bacteria tested, B. subitlis was the most susceptible to the extracted substance. The antimicrobial activity of the methanol extract from the sample had strong growth inhibition activity against gram-negative bacteria such as P. aeruginosa (MIC, 25mcg/ml).

        연속주조된 Cu-Ni-Si계 합금의 특성평가

        In this study Cu-2.5at%Ni-1at%Si alloys were fabricated by horizontal continuous casting system to improve the electrical conductivity and mechanical properties of Cu-Ni-Si alloy. Withdrawing speed was changed with 50 100 150 and 200 mm/min for the optimum manufacturing condition. Microstructure was observed using OM FE-SEM and TEM. Electrical conductivity was measured by 4-point probe method and mechanical proper-ties were tested. A horizontal continuous cast thin slab had sound macro and micro structures with partly crystal-lized structures. Electrical resistivity decreased with increasing annealing temperature from 250 to 850℃ with increasing annealing temperature the maximum hardness and tensile strength were Hv 130 610 MPa at 550℃ respectively. With changing withdrawing speed from 50 to 150mm/min hardness tensile strength yield strength and elongation were Hv 60-55 210-230 MPa 65-75 MPa and 40-50% respectively.       • 한국창작무용의 인식과 대중화 방안

        The purpose of this study was intended to derive the plan to popularise Korean creative dance. Especially, to identify the preference and development plan of college women on Korean creative dance, a total of 600 college women composed of 290 general college women and 310 college women majoring in dance were sampled using the convenient sampling method for college women resident in Seoul as of 2003. This study used the questionnaire for the consciousness survey of college students on the popularization of Korean creative dance, modified and supplemented based on the existing questionnaire re search. To analyse collected data, frequency analysis and chi-square test were conducted to suit the study questions and college women's consciousness of the popularization of Korean creative dance was analysed. As a result, the following findings were obtained: 1. College women were conscious of both the need for popular cultures and the need for dance arts as part of their value consciousness of popular cultures and dance. But they evaluated their property value highly, whereas they evaluated their commercial added value lowly. In addition, college women was conscious that direct participation in dance arts contributed to the development of creativity. 2. In college women's consciousness of Korean creative dance, they were aware that its value was heightened compared to that in the part, They understood Korean creative dance as similar to other types of dance, And they showed a positive response to dance profession, attractiveness and effect. 3. As to the question on the popularization of Korean creative dance, college women was conscious that Korean creative dance arts would spread to the general public, General college women and college women majoring in dance were conscious that Korean creative dance would contribute to the development of Korean cultures and presented an speciality aptitude program other than classes as the method of participating in Korean creative dance learning. And they presented the cultural classroom program within the local community as the he method of participating in Korean creative dance learning and understood that it would be desirable to make Korean creative dance known through such media as TV and radio. As the Korean creative dance popularization policy, they were conscious that PR for performance of Korean creative dance should be preceded and that financial support be preceded as the central matter in policy.
