시역전 기법을 이용한 다중 센서 노드 환경에서의 합용량 해석

본 논문은 다중 센서 노드가 존재하는 채널에서 시역전 전송방식을 이용하여 셀의 합용량을 증대시키는 다중 접속 기술에 대한 제안을 하였다. 제안된 방식은 시역전 기법의 신호 집속 효과를 이용하여 모든 센서노드에 동시에 다른 정보를 전달함으로써 합 용량이 증대된다. 실험을 통해 제안된 기술이 기존 주파수 직교 다중 접속 방법보다 높은 셀의 합 용량을 얻었고 센서노드의 수 30개, 트랜스듀서의 수 8개, SINR 16 dB에서 기존의 방법보다 약 27 bps/Hz 향상됨을 보였다. This paper proposes a multiple access method based on Time Reversal Mirror (TRM) technique when the multiple sensor nodes exist. Proposed method increases system sum capacity using energy focusing effects of the TRM. Simulation results show that proposed algorithm obtains higher system sum capacity than Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA), e.g., 27 bps/Hz higher than the OFDMA method when the number of sensor node is 30, the number of transducer is 8, and is SINR 16 dB.

The global area of GM Crops continued to grow in 2018 and reached 191.7 million hectares. Twenty-six countries approved biotech crops for planting and an additional 44 countries (18 + 26 EU countries) officially imported biotech crops for food, feed, and processing, meaning that biotech crops are now commonly accepted in those countries. First-generation GM seed is being commercialized by global agricultural companies in advanced countries such as the United States and parts of Europe. The fact that more than 90% of first-generation GM seeds, which have been commercialized for 20 years, are both insect resistant and herbicide resistant proves that they continue to have an effect on improving agricultural productivity and increasing farmers incomes. As the effectiveness of GM crops has been proven and technology has been developed, the GM crop development trend has recently changed. In other words, it has moved from being producer-oriented to benefiting both farmers and consumers. In Korea, the National Program for GM Crops (NCGC), one of the Next-Generation BioGreen 21 Programs organized by Rural Development Administration (RDA), was established in 2011 to develop biotech crops that will be used in the future to solve our agricultural problems. To accomplish this mission, the NCGC carried out the exploration of useful functional genes, the development of qualified events, and the safety assessment of developed events. Here, we introduce the current status of GM crop development and commercialization in the world and in Korea.

Global GM crops continue to grow. They have reached 181 million hectares. A total of 28 countries have approved biotech crops for planting. More than 60 countries have approved biotech crops to be imported as food and feed since 1996, meaning that biotech crops are now commonly accepted in those countries. Although biotech crops provide key solutions for the challenge of global food security in the future due to population growth and climate change, there are still some debates on whether biotech crops should be accepted in many countries including Korea. Therefore, it is very important to make people understand that GM crops will provide benefits to both farmers and consumers. In this review, current global status of GM crop development and commercialization are summarized.

본 연구는 특수관계자 거래가 과잉투자에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석하였다. 또한 대규모 기업집단 소속 여부가 특수관계자 거래와 과잉투자 간의 관계에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특수관계자 거래규모가 커질수록 경영자의 과잉투자가 증가하고 있음이 검증되었다. 이는 외부 모니터링이 어려운 특수관계자 거래를 통하여 경영자가 사적이득을 얻기 위해 과잉투자를 한다는 것을 의미한다. 둘째, 대규모 기업집단에 소속된 기업에서 특수관계자 거래액과 과잉투자 측정치 간의 양(+)의 관련성이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이는 대규모 기업집단에 소속된 기업이 그렇지 않은 기업에 비해 거래를 할 수 있는 특수관계자가 상대적으로 많고, 복잡한 지배구조로 인해 외부 투자자들의 모니터링이 어렵기 때문에 특수관계자 거래를 통해 과잉투자를 할 유인이 더 높다는 점을 시사한다. 본 연구는 경영자가 특수관계자 거래를 이용하여 과잉투자를 하는가를 실증분석 한다는 의의를 갖는다. 또한 특수관계자 거래와 관련된 공시제도 및 부당한 특수관계자 거래에 대한 규제의 보완점을 간접적으로 제시할 수 있다는 정책적 시사점을 제공한다. This study examines the impact of related party transactions on managers" over-investment behavior. It also analyzes how company characteristic, such as Chaebol groups, affects the relation between related party transactions and over-investment. We find following empirical results. First, increase in related party transaction amount results in increase in over-investment. Second, for companies that belong to chaebol groups, the relation between related party transactions and over-investment is significantly positive. This result suggests that since chaebol firms are involved in much more related party transactions than non-chaebol firms and are difficult to monitor for outside stakeholder due to their complex governance structure, chaebol firms are more inclined to engage in over-investment through related party transactions. This study performs empirical analysis to examine whether managers use related party transactions to involve in over-investment. It suggests that the current disclosure and regulation system of related party transactions needs to be supplemented.

Objectives: We studied what is the role of elective carotid artery resection in the management of advanced cervical metastatic cancer. Materials and Methods: 5 patients with elective carotid artery resection in advanced metastatic cervical cancer were reviewed retrospectively. The patients underwent complete neuroradiologic evaluation, including CT/MRI. angiography, duplex doppler, balloon occlusion test with EEG, and brain SPECT for determination of compatible collateral circulation after carotid artery resection. Results: Perioperative complication were appeared in 2 patients those were middle cerebral arterial infarction and mediastinal bleeding. Postoperative mortality rate was 20%. 4 patients recurred within 1 year. Conclusion: Preoperative collateral study rarely provide whether resection carotid artery or not. Elective carotid artery resection cannot provide locoregional control of tumor and don't promote survival.

In order to acquire microbial agents that can be utilized for biological control of bitter rot(Glomerella cingulata), the major airborne disease to apple, the effective microorganisms were isolated, tested for antagonistic activity to the pathogen. Through the screening of more than 1,000 species of microorganisms collected in nature, 11 species of antagonists were selected. On of the 11 species, one species designated as CH1141 demonstrated outstanding activity. The bacterial strain, CH1141 exerted antagonistic efficiency of 65% on Glomerella cingulata. The CH1141 was identified as a bacterial strain to Bacillus subtilis based on morphology, culture conditions, and physio-biochemical characteristics.
