        레이저 브레이징에서의 열유동 해석에 관한 연구

        An advantage offered by brazing over fusion welding is that strong joints may be produced at relatively low heat input. To minimize the thermal effects and maintain the desired dimension of assemblies. the CO$_{2}$ laser beam can be applied to the brazed joint of pin and plate as a micro heat source. This paper presents a analysis model of the laser brazing process considering the laser beam mode and heat flow in brazed parts by using the finite element method. The simulation results were compared with the experimental results obtained from the infrared temperature sensing system. Based on these results, the proper process parameters were investigated to get a good joining quality. The influence of the beam mode change was examined with respect to the temperature distribution and joint quality.

        Hepatoprotective Effects of Streptococcus thermophilus LM1012 in Mice Exposed to Air Pollutants

        In this study, we explored whether the use of Streptococcus thermophilus LM1012 (TL-LM1012) as a safe probiotic exerts hepatoprotective effects by suppressing oxidative stress and inflammation in vitro and alleviating aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) production in vivo. In a series of safety tests, TL-LM1012 was found to have a negative response to hemolysis and biogenic amines, as well as susceptibility to antibiotics. TL-LM1012 protected cell viability and suppressed cytotoxicity by inhibiting oxidative stress and induced heme oxygenase-1 and superoxide dismutase activity in a dose-dependent manner in diesel exhaust particulate matter (DEPM)-treated HepG2 cells. Moreover, proinflammatory cytokines, including tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin (IL)-6, and IL-1β, were suppressed in DEPM-treated splenocytes. In DEPM-treated mice, oral administration of TL-LM1012 regulated AST, ALT, and LDH production in the serum after 14 days of treatment. These findings indicate that TL-LM1012, a safe probiotic, provides a potent preventive or therapeutic effect against liver disease caused by air pollution.

        Blockchain-Based User-Participatory Game Update:Maze Escape Game Case

        In this note, we propose a game system to fairly and transparently control and update game variables using blockchain. As an example, we present an Ethereum-based maze escape game, being the first blockchain-based maze game and the first attempt to control game level through blockchain. In this system, the level function computes maze level reflecting the amount of maze walls purchased/sold by users. Using blockchain for game management saves human and economic resources and prevents unfair practice of game developers unilaterally manipulating game level or item enhancement rate.

        CT-TDLAS를 이용한 3차원 연소분포 측정

        에너지 자원을 효율적으로 사용하기 위해서는 연소 가스에 대한 정확한 측정이 필요하다. TDLAS 기술로 대상 가스의 온도와 농도를 동시 측정할 수 있다. 현재 가스의 정밀 제어가 필요한 산업공정에 2차원 또는 3차원의 정보를 측정한 실험적 보고는 미비하다. 본 연구에서는 산업공정의 연소를 제어하고 모니터링하고자 CT-TDLAS 시스템을 이용한다. 메탄-공기 예혼합화염의 3차원 온도 분포는 CTTDLAS 시스템에 의해 측정되었으며, 3차원 온도 분포는 2차원 셀의 5개 층으로 측정하였다. 특히 흡수 스펙트럼의 3차원 재구성에 SMART 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 열전대와 CT-TDLAS로 모든 층의 온도를 비교한 결과 온도의 평균 상대오차가 19.7K로 정확하게 측정되었다. In order to use energy resources efficiently, accurate measurement of combustion gases is necessary. Measurement of the temperature and concentration of a target gas is possible with tunable laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) technique. The TDLAS technique can be used to control and monitor combustion in industrial processes. The 3-dimensional temperature distribution of methane-air premixed flame was measured using the constructed computed tomography tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (CT-TDLAS) system. The 3-dimensional temperature distributions are measured by five layers of the 2-dimensional cell. The simultaneous multiplicative algebraic reconstruction technique (SMART) algorithm was adopted for reconstructing the absorption coefficients on the meshes. As a result of comparing the temperatures for all the layers using thermocouples and the CT-TDLAS technique, it was possible to accurately measure the average relative error of temperature as 19.7 K.

        블록체인 기반 AI 법인 등록제

        With the advancement of AI technology, legal status and regulation issues for AI robots, and the necessity of a robot registration system are emerging. Since the shape and activity area of AI robots will no longer be limited to hardware in one country, the definition and regulation of AI robots should be expanded to a comprehensive concept including software, and information about them should be securely managed and shared by governments around the world. From this perspective, we extend 'AI robot' to the concept of Juridical AI encompassing hardware and software, and propose a method to operate the Juridical AI registration system using a permissioned blockchain called Juridical AI Chain. Since blockchain is an internationally distributed database, operating such AI registration system based on the blockchain will be a way to effectively cope with the global problems caused by the commercialization of AI robots. AI 기술이 고도화됨에 따라 국내외에서 AI 로봇에 대한 법적 지위 및 규제 문제, 로봇등록제의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. AI 로봇의 형태 및 활동범위는 더 이상 한 국가내에 놓여진 하드웨어에 머물지 않을 것이므로, AI 로봇에 대한 정의 및 규제는 소프트웨어를 포함시킨 포괄적 개념으로 확장되어야하며, 이들에 대한 정보도 국제적으로 각국 정부가 안전하게 관리하고 공유할 수 있는 형태로 정의되어야한다. 본 연구는 이러한 관점에서 ‘AI 로봇’을 하드웨어와 소프트웨어를 포괄하는 AI 법인이라는 개념으로 확장시키고, (가칭) Juridical AI Chain이라는 허가형 블록체인을 이용해 AI 법인 등록제를 운영하는 방안을 제시한다. 블록체인은 각국 정부기관들의 관리 및 공유가 가능한 분산형 공유 장부이므로, 블록체인 기반 등록제의 운영은 AI 로봇의 상용화가 초래할 범세계적 문제들에 효과적으로 대처할 수 있는 방안이 될 것이다.

        Development of interpolation-free PTV

        A new particle tracking velocimetry (PTV) algorithm, which has no interpolation process requirement, has been constructed. An affine transformation and a hybrid fitness function were used to obtain final vector fields. A match probability method (MPM)-based PTV algorithm was used to save calculation convergences. The constructed algorithm was tested with synthetic images using the numerical data of Taylor-Green vortex flow and experimental images for the flow of a rectangular body with Re = 5300. Results obtained by the constructed PTV algorithm were compared with those obtained by the conventional cross-correlation particle image velocimetry (PIV) and the MPM. Comparison results revealed that the constructed interpolation-free PTV (IFPTV) algorithm demonstrated better performance than the aforementioned PIV and PTV algorithms. Furthermore, the constructed PTV algorithm does not need an error removal and interpolation process, enabling easy processing in PTV calculations while providing high-resolution grid vectors.

        Optical temperature measurement method of premixed flames using a multi-laser system

        The temperature distribution of a methane-air premixed flame was measured by the optical measurement technique. The absorption line was decomposed through 3rd order polynomial analysis, and the simultaneous multiplicative algebraic reconstruction technique (SMART) algorithm was adopted for computed tomography-tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (CT-TDLAS) data reconstruction. Methane-air premixed combustion system was used to construct laminar and turbulent flames. A double tube structure was adopted to solve combustion instability factors that occur when turbulent flames are generated. To overcome the high-temperature measurement limitations of a single laser system, two types of distributed feedback (DFB) lasers were mixed and measured. The relative error in temperature was largely confirmed at the central location of the burner. It was about 1.22 % for the laminar flame and 14.47 % for the turbulent flame.
