      • XML기반의 그리드데이터 메타데이터 통합검색시스템 개발에 관한 연구

        원격탐사기술과 GIS관련산업이 발달함에 따라 위성영상을 비롯하여 그리드데이터 성과물의 수요가 공공부문은 물론 민간기업에서의 급격히 증가하고 있다. 하지만 지금까지 국내의 경우 각 기관별로 필요에 따라 높은 비용과 많은 시간을 투자하여 메타데이타와 검색시스템을 구축하고 있기 때문에 체계적이고 통합적인 관리가 이루지지 않고 있다. 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하고자 그리드데이터의 표준화된 메타데이터를 근간으로 한 그리드데이터를 통합적으로 검색할 수 있는 그리드데이터 검색시스템의 개발이 시급한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 그리드데이터의 효율적인 유통을 위해서 2003년 한국전자통신연구원 그리드데이터 유통목록(메타데이터) 관한 연구에서 제시한 표준화된 그리드데이터 메타데이터 모델을 바탕으로 기관별로 기 구축된 메타데이터를 분석하였으며, 유사항목을 도출하고 검색에 필요한 공통응용스키마를 정의하였다. 또한 사용자에게 그리드데이터에 대한 정보검색 및 선택이 편리하도록 '위성영상정보 통합관리센터'(SIMC)의 위성영상 메타데이터를 비롯하여 유관기관인 '인공위성연구센터'(SaTReC)에서 보유 위성영상 메타데이터까지 검색이 가능한 XML(extensible Markup Language)기반의 그리드데이터 메타데이터 통합검색 시스템을 개발하였다. 본 연구의 시범시스템 구축 결과를 토대로 향후 확장성 있고 효율적인 그리드 데이터 통합검색시스템 확대구축에 기여할 것으로 사료된다. Nowadays, the demand of the output analyzed from the grid data have been sharply increased as the remote sensing technologies and GIS related industry have been developed. Therefore, a metadata access system which fits the requirements of the users should be developed for better managing and utilizing gridded data. In this background, this study defined a common application schema through the analysis of the metadata built by numerous institutes based on the draft metadata standards. The draft metadata standards has been proposed from the study supported by ETRI at 2003 which mainly concentrated on establishing the standards of distributing metadata for the grid data. Also, XML based integrated system was developed to access metadata maintained by SaTReC as well as SIMC to facilitate more convenient data access for the grid data users. The results of the pilot system developed from this study can be expected to contribute to build more efficient and enlarged integrated access system of metadata for grid data.

        치주질환 치료 후 구취 감소에 대한 연구

        Bacterial byproducts and volatile sulfur compounds(VSC) have been found to be the leading intra-oral agents, specifically, the byproducts of gram negative anaerobic bacteria have been implicated as primary factors of halitosis in patients presenting with periodontal disease. The objective of this study was to determine the correlation between periodontal treatment and the subsequent reduction in the level of halitosis. Forty-three subjects presenting with periodontal disease were examined before periodontal treatment, one week after treatment, one month after treatment, and finally, two months after treatment, using a portable sulfide monitoring $Halimeter^{(R)}$ to measure the VSC concentrations at the prescribed intervals. The results of the study were as follows: 1. Significant decreases in the mean VSC concentration were observed at the one week, one month, and two month post-op intervals relative to the pre-op measurement. (p<0.05) 2. Significant decreases in the mean VSC concentration were observed in subjects after completion of flap operations. Significant decreases in the mean VSC concentration were observed at the one and two month post-flap operation measurement relative to the VSC concentration at one week (p<0.05), but no significant differences between the one month and two month VSC concentrations were found. (p<0.05) 3. Significant decreases in the mean VSC concentration were observed in subjects after completion of subgingival curettage (p<0,05). Significant decreases were found between the one week and one month measurements and between the one month and two month measurements, but significant differences were not observed between the one week and two month measurements. (p<0.05) The results of this study show significant decreases in VSC concentration in test subjects after periodontal treatment. It can be inferred from the results above, that periodontal disease is a significant contributing factor of halitosis, and that treatment of periodontal disease can been an effective means of reducing VSC concentration in patients presenting with halitosis concurrent with periodontal disease.

        Dependency of Compatibility Termination Criteria on Prehydration and Bentonite Quality for Geosynthetic Clay Liners

        매립지나 오${\cdot}$폐수 저장지 등에서 폐기물 또는 오염물질의 저장 및 차단에 널리 사용되고 있는 Geosynthetic Clay Liner(GCL)의 물에 의한 사전투수 및 벤토나이트 품질이 투수종결기준에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위해서 소디움 벤토나이트가 주성분인 두 종류의 GCL을 대상으로 증류수와 농도변화를 위해 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 mM 용액을 혼합한 염화칼슘용액을 이용하여 투수시험을 수행하였다. 투수종결기준들로는 물리적 종결기준들(즉, ASTM에 준한 유출량과 유입량간의 비율과 안정화된 투수계수, 최소 공극량 두배에 해당하는 유출, 그리고 안정화된 시료두께)과 유입수와 유출수간의 화학적 평형에 따른 화학적 종결기준들(즉, 전기전도도, pH, 그리고 칼슘이온과 염소이온 농도)이 고려되었다. 염화칼슘을 이용한 투수시험의 경우, 벤토나이트에 이온결합된 나트륨($Na^+$)에 대한 칼슘($Ca^{2+}$) 치환이 GCL의 투수계수에 중대한 영향을 미치는 것에 근거하여 유입수와 유출수 간의 화학적 평형 및 투수계수의 평형이 이루어질 때까지 실시하였다. 염화칼슘농도에 따른 투수실험결과, 소요투수기간은 농도별로 1일 미만에서 900일 이상으로 큰 차이를 보였으며 염화칼슘 용액의 농도가 낮을수록 평형에 도달하기까지 더 많은 시간이 소요되는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 염화칼슘 용액의 농도가 20 mM이하의 경우, GCL의 물에 의한 사전투수 여부와 벤토나이트의 품질에 상관없이 유입수와 유출수간의 화학적 평형만이 투수계수의 평형을 보장할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나, 염화칼슘 용액의 농도가 50 그리고 100 mM의 경우, 유출량과 유입량간의 비율과 공극량 두배에 해당하는 유출을 제외한 모든 종결기준들이 투수계수의 평형을 보장할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과로부터, 물에 의한 사전투수 여부와 벤토나이트의 품질에 상관없이 오로지 유입수와 유출수간의 농도 평형에 준한 종결기준만이 GCL의 투수시험에 적합할 것으로 판단된다. The dependency of criteria used to terminate compatibility tests on the prehydration and quality of bentonite in geosynthetic clay liners (GCLs) is evaluated based on permeation with chemical solutions containing 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 mM calcium chloride ($CaCl_2$). The hydraulic conductivity tests are not terminated before chemical equilibrium between the effluent and the influent chemistry has been established, resulting in test durations ranging from < 1 day to > 900 days, with longer test durations associated with lower $CaCl_2$ concentrations. The evaluation includes both physical termination criteria (i.e., volumetric flow ratio and steady hydraulic conductivity based on ASTM D 5084, ${\ge}2$ pore volumes of flow, constant thickness of specimen) and chemical termination criteria requiring equilibrium between influent and effluent chemistry (viz., electrical conductivity, pH, and $Ca^{2+}\;and\;Cl^-$ concentrations). For specimens permeated with 5, 10, and 20 mM $CaCl_2$ solutions, only the criterion based on chemical equilibrium in $Ca^{2+}$ concentration correlates well with equilibrium in hydraulic conductivity, regardless of prehydration or quality of bentonite. However, all of the termination criteria, except for the volumetric flow ratio and 2 pore volumes of flow for the prehydrated specimens, correlate well with equilibrium in hydraulic conductivity regardless of prehydration or quality of bentonite when permeated with 50 and 100 mM $CaCl_2$ solutions. The results illustrate the uniqueness of the termination criterion based on solute concentration equilibrium between the effluent and the influent with respect to both prehydration and quality of bentonite in the GCLs.

        폐렴진단에 있어서 Protected Specimen Brushing 의 역할

        N/A Objectives: Culture of sputum is apt to be contaminated through oral cavity and proximal airway. Therefore, identification of true etiologic agents by sputum culture is not always reliable. In order to differentiate the pulmonary infection from non-infectious disease and to identify the true etiologic agent of acute pulmonary infection, we used PSB(Protected Specimen Brushing) and evaluated the efficacy of PSB. Methods: In 168 patients with acute febrile illness with pulmonary infiltrations(male 106, female: 61, mean age: 49.5±17.6), we performed PSB via a bronchoscope and compared the results along with blood culture and sputum culture. Protected specimen brush was introduced through biopsy channel of bronchoscope and was rotated within the purulent secretions. Tip of the brush was severed with aseptic technique and was immersed in 1cc of Ringer's lactate solution and vigorously mixed for 1 minute. The specimen was submitted for quantitative culture within 15 minutes and was regarded positive culture if colony forming units were above 10³/ml. Results: Using PSB for the diagnosis of pulmonary infection, sensitivity was 71.1% and specificity was 84.296. PSB was helpful in identifing true etiologic agent among several potentially pathogenic organisms. Using PSB for the diagnosis of UAP (ventilator associated pneumonia), sensitivity was 72.4% and specificity was 100%. Conclusion: Use of PSB can be a helpful method for the diagnosis of pulmonary infection and identification of its etiologic agents.

        Inventory management is an important factor for cost saving in a construction project. but current materials management of construction project is difficult to predict the required with occurrence of unexpected situations. if accurate demand forecasts of materials before the fact is possible, materials management will be efficient, stock cost and order cost will be decreased. This study analyzed data generated during the work process in the construction site. Through this, we show materials information management model that follow the change construction schedule meet the change materials demand. Moreover, We suppose that the propriety order time of materials use the collected information.

        중추신경병증이 발생한 류마티스관절염 환자에서 발견된 악성빈혈 1예

        류마티스관절염과 골수형성이상증후군을 진단받은 환자에서 관절염 치료에도 불구하고 악화되는 사지위약감과 감각저하로 내원, 결국 악성빈혈과 이에 기인한 척수의 아급성연합변성을 진단하여 비타민 B12 투여 뒤 증상이 호전된 증례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Pernicious anemia (PA) is an autoimmune disease characterized by atrophic gastritis and deficiency in intrinsic factor leading to impairment of vitamin B12 absorption in the ileum. Anemia is commonly found in rheumatoid arthritis (RA); however, PA is rarely found in RA. There are few reports describing patients with both conditions; none in Korea to date. We report on a case of a 46-year-old female who presented with hypesthesia and general weakness. She was previously diagnosed as seropositive RA with myelodysplastic syndrome. She had severely impaired sensation, especially for vibration and proprioception in all limbs. Subacute combined degeneration was observed on her magnetic resonance imaging and serum vitamin B12 level was very low. Further exam results were consistent with PA and her symptoms improved with cobalamin injection. This case demonstrates that PA should be considered in RA patients presenting with both central nervous system manifestations and anemia. (J Rheum Dis 2015;22:327-331)
