Analysis on Trends of Artworks Blockchain Platform

2019 International Journal of Advanced Culture Technolo Vol.7 No.3

The platform that provides distribution history information on artworks on a blockchain basis can be used when information on the work history is suspected or needs verification, and can be used to manage the distribution history information of stolen and lost artworks and confiscated artworks by the police. Several companies currently operate these platforms, but they operate various blockchain platforms according to their contents. In this paper, we will compare and analyze features of artworks blockchain platform.

Vol.13 No.-

This paper makes an attempt to emphasize the doctrine for Korean Christian universities. To do so, three issues are dealt with: The first is to investigate the theological reasons for Christian universities. The second is to identify the external and internal forces that have weakened the doctrine of Korean Christian universities. The third is to help with establishing the theological identity of Christian universities by offering three suggestions. In order to have an assured doctrine for Christian universities, four important previous studies on Christian learning and universities are reviewed: First, Jean Calvin``s perspective on man and learning is discussed. According to him, God``s words are the foundation for academic studies. Second, Abraham Kyper``s theological insights on Christian universities are examined. Sphere sovereignty and cultural apologetics are two major arguments he raises as the reasons for having Christian universities. Third, Arthur Holmes focuses on four concepts in outlining the theological foundation for higher education: creation, the human person, truth and the cultural mandate. Fourth, George Marsden points out four themes for university-level studies in the theological context: creation, incarnation, holy spirit and dimension of reality and the human condition. Four elements are found that have made a fast progress toward secularization of Korean Christian universities. First, Korean Christian universities have pursued size in terms of number of students and building structure. Second, government policy toward Christian universities has further weakened the ideology of Christian universities. Third, the dualistic attitude in relation to curriculum and scholarship has caused the secularization of Korean Christian universities. Fourth, four liberal values have become a serious challenge to Christian scholarship: autonomy, social harmony, neutrality and liberation. In conclusion, three ways to reestablish the identity are offered. First, Korean Christian universities must not be fooled with the presence of a chaplain, regular worship or lectures on Christianity. Second, a committment to Christian curriculum is needed in order to establish a doctrine on a firm basis. In other words, all subjects must be taught from a distinctively Christian perspective. Third, they should recognize the particularities and varieties of cultures, thoughts and belief systems. The Christian universities should not be characterized by a narrow restriction to the Christian perspective. There should be an increasing exposure to other world-views informed by Christian faith.

Comparison of Machine Learning Tools for Mobile Application

2022 International Journal of Advanced Culture Technolo Vol.10 No.3

Demand for machine learning systems continues to grow, and cloud machine learning platforms are widely used to meet this demand. Recently, the performance improvement of the application processor of smartphones has become an opportunity for the machine learning platform to move from the cloud to On-Device AI, and mobile applications equipped with machine learning functions are required. In this paper, machine learning tools for mobile applications are investigated and compared the characteristics of these tools.

In this paper, we develop a method that derive the average sector throughput of HSDPA system. This proposed method reflects the effects of AMC, scheduling and multi-code transmission, and is performed by simple calculation procedures such as link budget analysis. Link budget table is used to estimate a cell coverage in general. We modify the link budget table in order to calculate C/I of the user according to the location of the user in CDMA packet system employing AMC. Furthermore, we utilize the proposed method to analyze the effects of scheduling and multi-code transmission.

A Study of the Workplace Values: The Behavior and Managerial Practices of Second Generation Korean Americans

2007 Korea Observer Vol.38 No.4

Over the last quarter century, workplace culture has changed in the United States. Methods of management that were considered desirable in the 80s have altered to reflect the increasingly multi-cultural workforce. Twenty-five years ago, a survey was conducted studying the differences in workplace perceptions by first generation Koreans and Caucasian American employees. This new study will explore how Korean perceptions have changed with the new generation over the past twenty-five years. It will use the five comparative cultural dimensions that were outlined in the previous study to discover the variances between Korean and U.S. managers. These dimensions are nonmaterialism vs. materialism, security need vs. achievement need, harmony vs. competitiveness, inward-inclined vs. outward- inclined and subjective relationships vs. objective relationships. The importance placed on each of these variables will illustrate change in conduct if it has occurred. As the workplace becomes increasingly aware of ethnically derived cultural factors that influence employee workplace satisfaction, there should also be a sensitivity to the generational gaps within the cultures.
