        영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육지식, 양육수행귀인 및 부모역할 인식과 그에 따른 양육행동

        The main purpose of this study was to examine the associations between mothers' parenting cognition and their parenting behaviors. The subjects consisted of 212 mothers of 12- to 36-month-old infants, resident in metropolitan cities in Korea. Data were collected through questionnaires and a series tests of ANOVA was carried out for the purposes of data analysis. The results revealed that; 1) mothers who had higher parenting knowledge, higher levels of internal attribution when undertaking successful child-caring practices, and who also possessed lower external attributions when they were unsuccessful in child-caring practices were more likely to engage in a great many of social behaviors with their child; 2) mothers who had lower internal attribution levels when unsuccessful child-caring, had higher perceptions of parenting investment and lower levels of parenting balance, were also more likely to reveal didactic behaviors; 3) mothers who had lower levels of internal attributions when unsuccessful child-caring were more likely to exhibit limit setting behaviors. These results underscored the importance of parenting cognition in relation to mothers' parenting behaviors towards their infants.

        Poetry as a Venue for Meaningful Literacy: A Case Study of a Primary English Language Learner

        In order to humanize and contextualize ESL/EFL learning, poetry writing has been suggested and considered as an effective strategy for meaningful literacy. However, there is a lack of empirical evidence for the pedagogical significance of poetry writing on language learning. To make up for the dearth of research about poetry writing, the present study explored to what extent a primary English language learner can express herself through poetry writing in an American classroom and the significance of poetry writing as meaningful literacy in ESL/EFL learning. Adopting a qualitative research approach, this small-scale case study conducted textual analyses of a young English language learner’s poetry works and in-depth interviews with her. Findings suggest that poetry writing encouraged the participant learner to express herself with her own voice, enhanced her L2 linguistic awareness, provided meaningful learning opportunities―authorship and readership―, and motivated the learner to overcome challenges as an English language learner. The present study contributes to the understanding of young English language learners’ poetry writing in the field.

        폐기물 매립지 바닥층의 고화토 포설시 동결/융해 현상에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 바닥층을 점토포설의 대안으로 기존의 원지반 해성점토에 시멘트와 벤토나이트 및 고화재를 혼합한 새로운 고화처리토를 이용하여 안전하고 경제적이며 효율적인 매립지 바닥층을 조성하고자 한다. 그러나 매립지 바닥층의 시공에 있어서 고화처리토를 이용한 표층고화 처리층을 바닥층의 재료로서 사용하는데 토목역학적인 안전성에 대한 기술적 자료가 전무한 실정이다. 특히 고화처리토를 포설한 후 겨울철 동상에 대한 연구문헌 및 사례는 국내, 외를 막론하고 쉽게 찾아볼 수 없었다. 따라서 본 조사연구를 통하여 기초적인 자료를 수집하고 겨울철 조건하에 고화처리층의 동결/융해 현상에 대한 바닥층의 안전성 및 동상현상을 검토하여 설계 및 시공에 반영될 수 있도록 하였다.$^4),6),21),25)$ 또한 본 연구에서는 폐기물매립지 바닥층의 포설에 가장 중요한 실패 원인중 하나인 동절기에 동상에 따른 고화처리층의 동결/융해 현상에 대한 연구를 실시하여 향후 해안폐기물매립지 건설에 기술적으로 이바지 하고자 한다. 고화처리층은 지지력을 목적으로 하는45 cm의 고화토층과 차수를 목적으로 하는30 cm의 불투수층의 $P_A와\; P_B$층으로 구성되었으며 고화처리층 하부에는 30 cm의 지하수 배제층, 상부에는 60 cm의 침출수 집배수층으로 설계되었다. 결과적으로 동결깊이는 동일한 조건에서 인공강우를 고려한 실험에서 동결깊이가 증가하였으며 동상현상은 수mm정도 증가하였고 국부적으로 표면균열이 발생하였다. 이러한 결과로 볼 때 매립지 바닥층의 설계에서 고화처리토를 사용한 바닥층이 점토층으로 구성된 설계보다 더욱 신뢰할 수 있다고 생각할 수 있다. (이송 외 2인, 1999; 이송 외 3인, 1999)e experimental group who was exposed to the A-V media produced by the author showed the higher score of androgyny sexual role identity than the control group who didn′t watch the A-V program. 2) The experimental group showed the higher rate of the androgyny than the control group, On the other hand, their rate of the masculinity turned out to be lower than the latter group. 3) The experimental group didn′t show the difference of SAS score from the control group .In conclusion, "Our sexuality is Healthful" A-V program for sexual education brought about the significant change of sexual role identity of the middle school boys, but didn′t affect their attitude toward sexual activity.ypothesis 4: The 4th hypothesis that "There will be significant difference of the pulse rate just before surgery in the experimental group and control group"was supported(P= .004). The purpose of this research is to complement the existing researches on landfill bottom liners behavior during the periods of freeze and thaw. Landfill-related researches have been typically focused on small-scale soil samples that are often compacted under conditions different from those used in the field. Although these tests have been invaluable in clarifying the problem of freeze and thaw, extending the results of such experimental studies to prototype landfills are questionable. In this investigation, the author utilized a large scale laboratory simulation allowing inclusion of the field depth of the cover systems, layered soil profiles, rainfall simulation, a cold climate and boundary conditions similar to those encountered in the landfill. The soil materials were stabilized soils (mixed clays, cements, and minerals) instead of clays. The bottom liners are made up of drainage layer (30 cm), stabilized layer (75 cm), and leach collection layer (60 cm). The stabilized layers are made up of supporting layer (45 cm) and low permeable layer (30 cm) - consisting of $P_A\; and\; P_B$ layer. As a results, depths of penetration increased by about 2~5 more centimeters at rainfall simulated designs than those at no rainfall simulated designs (that is design 3, design 5 and design 7) - it increased by about 20mm/day in the bottom liners and frost heaves also increased it by a few millimeters. Also, a few cracks appeared partly. According to these results, we can surmise that the compacted stabilized soil is more reliable than the compacted clay liners for construction of the landfill liners.

        심산 노수현(1899~1978)의 삽화 연구

        This study examines various art activities by Oriental painter No Soo-Hyeon (盧壽鉉, 1899~1978), focusing on the period of producing illustrations and working for newspaper companies, while also considering its influence on painting. No Soo-Hyeon, born in the late Joseon Dynasty, experienced turbulent historical periods such as the Japanese colonial era, the space of liberation, and modern society. Previous academic research on No Soo-Hyeon has primarily focused on landscape painting. However, amidst the revolutionary changes and cultural interactions of the time, No Soo-Hyeon engaged in a wide range of genres, including illustrations and cartoons for magazines and newspapers. Particularly noteworthy are the numerous illustrations he created during modern times, which serve as valuable data for understanding the world of modern illustration. Thus, this study aims to highlight No Soo-Hyeon as a multidimensional artist by exploring underutilized sources related to him, such as newspapers and magazines from the modern period. In the 1920s, when regulations on magazine and newspaper publication were relaxed due to cultural reforms, No Soo-Hyeon began working as a magazine illustrator. During that decade, he primarily produced illustrations for magazines published by Gaebyeoksa (開闢社) and Dongmyeongsa (東明社), while also engaging in illustration and cartoon work for various newspaper companies. In the 1930s, his illustration activities expanded further as he established himself as a professional illustrator. With the rise in popularity of creative novels, No Soo-Hyeon's illustrations increasingly reflected reality. As the main illustrator for many media outlets, he adapted his materials and painting style to suit the genre of each novel. Furthermore, this thesis closely examines the relationship between No Soo-Hyeon's illustrations and his painting works. Through his illustration work, No Soo-Hyeon expressed a keen awareness of reality, which also influenced some of his painting compositions. Additionally, his frequent practice of sketching and observation while working as a newspaper journalist contributed to the development of his unique painting style, influenced by Western art. The study also analyzes various signatures and seals found in No Soo-Hyeon's illustrations and paintings, providing insights into the influence of illustration on changes in his painting style. Overall, this study significantly contributes to a comprehensive understanding of No Soo-Hyeon's body of work. 본 연구는 동양화가 노수현(盧壽鉉, 1899~1978)의 다양한 미술 활동을 삽화 제작 및 신문사 재직 시기 중심으로 살펴보고, 회화와는 어떠한 영향 관계를 지니는지 다각적으로 고찰한다. 노수현은 조선말에 태어나 일제강점기, 해방공간을 거쳐 현대사회로 넘어오는 역사의 격동기를 몸소 겪은 화가로, 노수현에 관한 학계의 연구는 대다수 산수화 부문에 집중해서 이루어져 왔다. 그러나 다양한 문화와의 접촉과 변혁이 일어나던 당시 시대적 환경 아래, 노수현은 회화는 물론 잡지나 신문의 삽화·만화 작업 등에도 참여하며 여러 장르를 섭렵했다. 특히 근대기 작업했던 삽화는 그 양이 방대하며, 근대 삽화계를 이해하는 필수 자료로서의 가치도 크다. 따라서 본 연구는 그동안 적극적으로 활용되지 않았던 노수현과 관련한 근대기 신문 및 잡지 등의 자료를 확충해, 전방위적인 미술인으로서 노수현의 면모를 부각해 보고자 한다. 노수현은 문화통치로 인해 잡지 및 신문의 출판제한이 느슨해진 1920년대, 잡지 삽화로 삽화가로서의 활동을 시작했다. 1920년대에는 주로 개벽사(開闢社)·동명사(東明社) 발간 잡지의 삽화를 그리고, 여러 신문사에 소속되어 일간지 삽화 및 만화 작업을 시작했다. 1930년대에는 전문 삽화가로서 삽화 활동이 더욱 활발해졌다. 창작소설의 유행과 함께 노수현의 삽화 역시 현실의 실정을 담아내는 경향성을 띠며, 많은 양의 삽화를 동일 매체에서 담당하게 된 만큼 각각 소설마다 장르를 고려해 재료 및 화풍의 차이를 주었음이 관찰된다. 아울러, 본고는 노수현의 삽화와 회화 작품 사이에는 어떠한 영향 관계가 있었는지 면밀히 검토했다. 노수현은 삽화 활동을 통해 현실의 인물들에 관심을 가지며 일부 회화 작품에서 현실의식을 드러냈다. 또한 신문기자로 재직하며 제작한 기행 스케치 등, 잦은 사생을 통해 서양화풍의 적극적 수용과 함께 실제의 관찰을 바탕으로 한 노수현 고유의 화풍을 발전시키기도 하였다. 나아가 본 연구에서는 삽화와 회화에서 나타나는 다양한 서명과 인장을 관찰함으로써 회화가·삽화가로서 노수현의 정체성에 주목했으며, 삽화의 심층적 분석을 통해 노수현의 화풍 변화에 삽화의 영향이 있다는 점을 제기하였다. 이를 통해 노수현의 작품에 관한 폭넓은 이해를 시도한다는 점에서 의의를 지닌다.

        중ㆍ고등학교 학생 운동 선수들의 특수 목적 영어 교육에 대한 요구 분석

        The present study investigates secondary school student athletes’ specific needs for English learning and analyzes correlation and a cause and effect relationship among the needs-related variables. Two hundred forty six student athletes enrolled in physical education. Junior and senior high schools participated in the study. Data were collected through a survey that inquired about the students’ perceived English ability and learning areas of interest, their needs for ESP education, and aspects to be considered for ESP course design. The results show that the students put more emphasis on verbal communication (i.e., on speaking and listening) than on written communication (i.e., on reading and writing) and that they wanted more practical ESP education reflecting their needs and interests. Additionally, there was significant correlation (p<.01) among the subjects’ learning areas of interest, needs for ESP education, and aspects to be considered for ESP course design; a cause and effect relationship among the above three variables was discovered by goodness of fit test for structure equation model. Based on these findings, it is concluded that secondary school student athletes’ perceived English ability and areas of interest for English learning influence both their needs for ESP education and aspects to be considered for ESP course design.
