Investigating the Structural Relationships among Factors Affecting L2 Listening Proficiency of Korean High School Learners of English

The main purpose of this study was to examine the structural relationships among major factors affecting L2 listening proficiency of Korean EFL high school students (n=300): L2 linguistic knowledge, L2 listening strategy use, self-determined motivation and L2 listening anxiety. The variables were measured through a series of questionnaires and tests, and the data collected were analyzed by structural equation modeling (SEM). The results convey that Korean high school students who are intrinsically motivated can be predicted to have more frequent use of L2 listening strategies; this frequent use may predict low listening anxiety. Furthermore, more frequent use of L2 listening strategies may predict good L2 listening proficiency only when learners have a high level of L2 linguistic knowledge; the learners’ high L2 linguistic knowledge may in turn predict their low L2 listening anxiety and good L2 listening proficiency. Based on the results, suggestions were made on L2 listening instruction.

경도의 지적장애 시설보호아동을 위한 자기조절학습 프로그램의 효과 -자기효능감과 학교생활적응을 중심으로-

본 연구는 자기조절학습 프로그램이 경도의 지적장애 시설보호아동의 자기효능감과 학교생활적응에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구의 도구는 한국판 웩슬러 아동용 지능검사(K-WISC 3)를 사용하였고, 연구의대상은 서울특별시 A구 소재 아동거주시설에 입소한 초등학교 2학년 여학생과, 1학년 남학생 각각 1명씩 총 2명을 선별하여 집단을 구성하였다. 자기조절학습 프로그램은 주 1회에 50분간 총 16회기 진행하였으며, 자기조절학습 프로그램의 효과를 알아보기 위해 프로그램실시 사전-사후에 자기효능감과 학교생활적응 검사를 실시하였다. 자기조절학습 프로그램의 실시 결과 경도의 지적장애 시설보호아동의 자기효능감과 학교생활적응 점수가 향상되었으며 특히 자신감과 자기조절 효능감 하위영역에서는 두 배 이상의 점수가 향상되었다. 이러한 결과들을 볼 때 본 연구는 경도의 지적장애 시설보호아동에게 자기조절학습 프로그램을 구성하여 효과성을 입증하고 초등학교 저학년부터 시작되는 학교부적응을 조기에 개입하여 경도의 지적장애 시설보호아동의 자기효능감과 학교생활적응향상 시키는데 의의가 있다.

피부미용 연구에 응용되는 관능검사에 대한 통계적 신뢰도

Statistical reliability in the sensory evaluation measures the agreement of judgements for several observers. Kendall's coefficient of concordance for multiple rankings, and coefficient of consistence and coefficient of agreement for paired comparisons are frequently used as the standard reliability measures. The main idea and the computational formula of these coefficients in various situations are explained in detail with some real examples (cosmetics and make-up). Moreover a user-friendly computer program called as MultPair is introduced. We expect that this expository paper and the computer program give a practical help to the researchers who use the sensory evaluation techniques. 관능검사에서는 여러 명의 검사자가 대상물에 대하여 관능적 판단에 기준하여 평가하는데, 그 평가가 검사자들 간에 얼마나 일치되는가를 재는 척도가 관능검사에서의 통계적 신뢰도이다. 본 논문에서 살펴본 신뢰도 계수로는 다점순위법에서의 켄달의 일치성계수, 일대일 비교에서의 일관성계수 및 일치성계수이다. 이 신뢰도 계수들의 공식과 개념을 비통계학자도 이해할 수 있도록 쉽게 설명하고, 유의성 검정에 대해 논의하며, 실제 적용 사례를 보였다. 신뢰도 계수를 효과적으로 계산할 수 있도록 저자들이 개발한 MultPair라는 컴퓨터 프로그램을 소개하였다. 또한 MultPair에는 검사자를 돌아가면서 한 명씩 제외시켰을 경우에 신뢰도 계수에 어떤 변화가 생기는가를 관찰할 수 있도록 해서, 검사자 개개인의 특성 내지는 공헌도를 파악할 수 있다. 적용 예로는 얼굴 화장유형과 립스틱색에 따른 호감도 검사에 대한 피부미용 연구 사례가 다뤄졌다.

The purpose of this study is to propose a direction in which make-up illustration should forward in the future. Future make-up illustration here should be able to transmit illustrative images that are suitable for modern make-up design, be able to increase the artistic value diversifying forms of expression, and then be sublimated into a stage of art. Therefore, this study discusses the concept of illustration and the characteristics of pop art and gives an explanation of the works of make-up illustration influenced by the pop art of 1960's. It is essential to develop make-up illustration into increasing artistic value. It is necessary that the curriculum of make-up related department in domestic colleges should include courses dealing artistic make-up illustration.

아트메이크업에 표현된 오브제의 특성에 관한 연구

The purposes of this study were to explore the design elements expressed in contemporary make-up based on the characteristics of Chtistian Dior collection, to examine the change patterns of make-up during the recent 14 year period with respect to the art make-up style, and to investigate the intercorrelations among the design elements of forms, objects expressed in the art make up. This research exployed both qualitative method and quantitative method to empirically investigate the art make-up. The basic material used in this study was the collection from Spring/Summer Season in 1994 to Spring/Summer Season in 2007. Data in Christian Dior collection pictures were qualitatively coded separately in prepared coding sheets by six experts who are professors in the major areas of make-up. The coding sheets were quantitatively analyzed. The empirical results showed in general that led the art make up style which is comprised of design elements of objects. 본 논문의 연구목적은 크리스챤 디오르의 컬렉션에서 나타나는 현대 메이크업에서 표현되는 오브제 요소들을 기초로 최근 14년 동안의 아트 메이크업 변화 패턴을 연구하고 아트 메이크업에 표현되는 오브제 형태 요소의 변화 증감을 연구하는데 있다. 연구방법으로는 정량적 방법과 정성적 방법 두 가지를 이용하였으며 크리스챤 디오르의 1994년부터 2007년까지의 봄 여름 컬렉션의 데이터 사진을 수집하여 메이크업 전문가 3인이 자료를 분석 분류하여 코딩 시트지를 만들었다. 그 결과 오브제 디자인 요소 중 가장 빈번하게 쓰이고 있는6가지오브제가 년도 별로 어떻게 변화 증감했는지를 빈도 분석함으로 아트 메이크업을 선도하고 있는 오브제의 방향을 추측할 수 있었고 주요 오브제의 변화양상을 분명히 알 수 있었다.

This study addressed the make-up style of the 2004s and the 2004s most produced in the 2007s. As a result, the following make-up style was classified as the following.First, it could be found that the glamorous style was not the blind imitation of the past but the co-existence of several styles, and that it shared with the thought and drift of the times and was reproduced and modified in several forms. The glamorous style represented voluptuous beauty in naturalness through the influence of naturalism in the first half of the 2004s., introduced the future feeling and the metallic feeling through the diversification of materials and the development of technology, and promoted somewhat provoking voluptuous beauty. In the latter half of the 2007s the make-up style was changed into chic glamorous style that smacked of gentle decadent beauty. Second, the baby-doll style is characterized the fact that it git away from the extreme and artificial eye make-up of the 2004s and somehow emphasized feminality. Third, the pattern of geometrical make-up influenced by the thought of art made an expression of expressionist, cubist, surrealist and impressionist make-up as well as op art though the influence of the modern and contemporary thoughts of art, ranging from color to color scheme, motive and so on. It is proceeding to extending its domain from the existing typified and interesting make-up to the artistic make-up free senses.

장애인 주간보호시설 종사자의 응용행동분석에 대한 인식과 요구

이 연구에서는 장애인 주간보호시설에서 성인 발달장애인에게 직접 서비스를 제공하는 사회복지사들이 응용행동분석 중재에 참여한 이후 갖게 된 인식의 변화와 시설 현장에서의 응용행동분석 중재에 필요한 요구 사항을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 참여자는 서울과 경기도에 위치한 장애인 주간보호시설 종사자 6명이며, 이들을 대상으로 반구조화된 심층면담을 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 장애인 주간보호시설을 이용하는 지적장애인과 자폐성장애인에게 응용행동분석을 적용했을 때의 결과가 효과적으로 나타나 응용행동분석의 필요성에 대한 종사자들의 인식이 긍정적인 방향으로 전환되었다. 둘째, 장애인 주간보호시설 종사자들은 시설 현장에서의 응용행동분석 중재 도입을 위해서 전문 인력과 재정 지원을 요구하였다. 응용행동분석 중재가 장애인 주간보호시설의 성인 발달장애인에게 효과적인 중재 방법이라는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 이를 통해 장애인 주간보호시설에서의 응용행동분석 중재에 필요한 지원을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study is to know the changed awareness since the social workers who directly provide services to have participated in the intervention with applied behavior analysis and about the requirements to be supported for adults with developmental disabilities with applied behavior analysis in the field. Semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted with 6 workers in daycare centers located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The results according to the research as follows: First, workers took a very positive direction that it needs to be applied for them because applied behavior analysis intervention for adults with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders got the distinct result, Second, professionals and financial supports were required for the field application. The results of this study demonstrated that applied behavior analysis intervention is the effective method for adults with developmental disabilities and proposed the demands to apply it concretely at daycare centers.
