        Four new records of family Diphyidae (Hydrozoa: Siphonophorae) in Korean waters

        Siphonophores are unique, gelatinous zooplankton, which many individuals gather and live like one “Superorganism”. The role of individuals in the colony differs greatly depending on their morphological difference, making them more unique. In this study, we report four species belonging to Diphyidae Quoy and Gaimard, 1827 sampled from the South Sea and off Jeju Island, Korea. Two Chelophyes Totton, 1932 (C. appendiculata (Eschscholtz, 1829); C. contorta (Lens and van Riemsdijk, 1908)) and two Eudoxoides Huxley, 1859 (E. mitra (Huxley, 1859); E. spiralis (Bigelow, 1911)) species are described with multi-focus stacked digital images. Our findings update the confirmed order Siphonophorae Eschscholtz, 1829 in Korea to be three suborders, five families, eight genera, and 13 species. In addition, we summarize the synonyms and global distributions of these four newly recorded species in Korean waters.

      • 대구광역시 청소년의 가출 실태 및 청소년통합지원체계의 발전방안

        이 연구는 대구광역시 내 청소년들의 가출에 대한 실태를 분석하여 그 결과를 바탕으로 향후 청소년통합지원체계의 방향을 모색하고 청소년통합지원체계가 사회안전망의 역할을 제대로 수행할 수 있도록 지원체계 및 보호프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료를 마련하는데 있다. 이를 위해 대구광역시 내 일반청소년 388명을 대상으로 분석하였고 그 결과 가출충동 은 281명(72.4%)이며 이 가운데 가출경험 청소년은 44명(11.6%)으로 나타났다. 일반청소 년이 가지는 청소년통합지원체계에 대한 인식은 평균 70~80%가 관련기관에 대한 경험이 없었으며 인식도 거의 없는 것으로 나타나 향후 청소년통합지원체계에 대한 홍보계획을 포함 한 향후 과제가 도출되었다.

        보육교사의 마음챙김이 교사민감성에 미치는 영향: 소진의 매개효과

        Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between child care teachers’ mindfulness, burnout, and sensitivity. Also, the effects of child care teachers’ mindfulness on teacher sensitivity, including the mediating effects of burnout, were investigated. Methods: A total of 263 child care teachers who work in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon participated in this study. Data were analyzed by correlations and regressions using SPSS 21.0. Results: First, there were significant correlations between child care teachers' mindfulness, burnout and teacher sensitivity. Second, the relationship between mindfulness and teacher sensitivity was partially mediated by burnout. To be specific, mindfulness not only had a direct effect on teacher sensitivity, but also had an indirect effect on teacher sensitivity through burnout. Among the three dimensions of burnout, the decrease of personal accomplishments had the biggest significant mediation effect on the relationship between mindfulness and teacher sensitivity. Conclusion/Implications: In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of mindfulness in reducing burnout and enhancing teacher sensitivity toward children. Also, this research has implications for future research regarding the mindfulness of child care teachers and offers a foundation for the development of mindfulness training programs for child care teachers.

        시판 세척제 및 헹굼보조제 중 메탄올 함량 모니터링

        Methanol is a toxic alcohol used in various products such as antifreeze, detergent, disinfectant and industrial solvent. In the human body, methanol is oxidized to formaldehyde and formic acid, which can lead to metabolic acidosis, optic nerve impairment, and death. In this study, the methanol levels in detergents (n=191) and rinse aids (n=13) were analyzed by gas chromatography-headspace-mass spectrometry (GC-HS-MS). Limit of detection was 1.09 mg/kg, accuracy and precision were 91.1-97.9% and <10%, and it was suitable for quantitative analysis. This analysis method was simple and fast with a higher recovery rate than the conventional MFDS (Ministry of Food and Drug Safety) method of diluting the sample in water and putting it in a headspace vial.

        지능형 대퇴의족 사용자의 보행 의도 추정을 위한 소켓 내압력 변화 측정 센서 개발에 관한 연구

        The prosthetic leg is a device that performs walking instead of a amputated lower limb, and require a changein locomotion mode by providing the user's intention to respond to a discontinuous locomotion environment. Research has been conducted to detect the users' intentions through biomechanical features inside the socket thatdirectly contacts the cut site in demand for natural locomotion mode changes without external control equipment. However, there is still a need for a sensor system that is suitable for the internal environment of the main bodyand socket of the cut site. Accordingly, this paper proposed a film-type sensor system that is suitable for the mainbody characteristics of the cut site, is not affected by the temperature and humidity conditions inside the socket,and is easy to manufacture in various sizes. The proposed sensor is manufactured base on Velostat film and takesinto account the pressure measurement characteristics that vary with size. Through the experiment, the change inthe internal pressure of the socket due to the intentional posture performance of the wearer was measured, andthe possibility of detecting the intention to change the locomotion mode was confirmed. 대퇴의족은 절단하지를 대체하여 보행을 수행하는 기기이며, 불연속적으로 변하는 보행 환경에 대응하기 위해 사용자의 의도 제공을 통한 보행 모드 변경을 요구한다. 외부의 제어 기기 없는 자연스러운 보행 모드 변경을 위한 요구로 절단 부위와 직접 접촉하는 소켓 내부의 생체 역학적 특징을 통해 사용자의 의도를 검출하는 연구가 수행되어 왔다. 하지만 아직까지 절단 부위의 신체 및소켓 내부 환경에 적합한 센서 시스템의 요구가 남아있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 절단 부위의 신체 특성에 적합하고 소켓 내부 온습도 조건에 영향을 받지 않으며 다양한 크기의 제작이 쉬운 필름 형태의 센서 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안된 센서는 Velostat 필름으로 제작되었으며 크기에 따라 달라지는 압력 계측 특성이 고려되었다. 실험을 통해 착용자의 의도적인 자세 수행에 의한 소켓 내부압력 변화를 계측하였으며 보행 모드 변경 의도 검출의 가능성을 확인하였다.

        Triamterene induces autophagic degradation of lysosome by exacerbating lysosomal integrity

        The maintenance of lysosomal integrity is essentialfor lysosome function and cell fate. Damaged lysosomesare degraded by lysosomal autophagy, lysophagy. Themechanism underlying lysophagy remains largely unknown;this study aimed to contribute to the understanding of thistopic. A cell-based screening system was used to identifynovel lysophagy modulators. Triamterene (6-phenylpteridine-2,4,7-triamine) was identifi ed as one of the most potentlysophagy inducers from the screening process. We foundthat triamterene causes lysosomal rupture without aff ectingother cellular organelles and increases autophagy fl uxin HepG2 cells. Damaged lysosomes in triamterene-treatedcells were removed by autophagy-mediated pathway, whichwas inhibited by depletion of the autophagy regulator, ATG5or SQSTM1. In addition, treatment of triamterene decreased the integrity of lysosome and cell viability, which were rescuedby removing the triamterene treatment in HepG2 cells. Hence, our data suggest that triamterene is a novel lysophagyinducer through the disruption of lysosomal integrity.

        질문 유도를 통해 유아의 창의적 사고를 증진하는 인터랙티브 동화 콘텐츠 컨셉 제안

        Background : Early childhood is a period when creativity develops and questions increase, and the period between 3 and 6 years is also called the questioning period. Children at this age appear to ask a variety of questions, and it has been known that children's spontaneous questions are positive in many developmental aspects, such as children's creativity and problem-solving skills. Fairy tale content, one of the ways to help children's development, is expanding into various forms such as books, audiobooks, interactive books, and story-making content as technology develops and times pass. However, research is needed on interactive fairy tale content where children not only follow the story and receive given content, but also react with curiosity and create the story on their own. Accordingly, in this study, we will look into ways to encourage questions through fairy tales and propose an interactive fairy tale content concept that helps children ask their own questions. Methods : First, trends in children's interactive content and existing content cases were analyzed, and prior research in related fields was investigated. Next, through previous research on children's creativity and question induction, a question induction method that can be used in children's interactive content was derived. We have summarized design examples that can apply the derived question-leading method. Results : In this study, we aim to present the concept of fairy tale content in which children voluntarily lead the story with curiosity. To this end, through literature research, 'a 'role' that asks a lot of questions is needed.', 'Provide an environment that can stimulate children's curiosity.', 'Create an atmosphere that allows children to ask questions,' , the question-inducing method was derived as 'obtain information through questions and solve problem situations.' We divided fairy tales into three categories: fairy tale story, storyteller, and interactive media, and summarized design examples that can apply the question-inducing method to interactive content. Conclusion : The question-inducing method derived from this study can be used as a way to create interactive content to promote creativity through children's voluntary participation. We also expect that it will be helpful to design and education practitioners and designers who design interactive fairy tale products for young children.

        모바일 센서 네트워크에서 효율적인 노드 위치 결정

        모바일 센서 네트워크는 기존의 위치가 고정된 무선 센서 네트워크와는 다르게 비컨 노드와 일반 노드가 모두 움직일 수 있기 때문에 위치 측정 알고리즘이 일반적인 무선 센서 네트워크 환경의 알고리즘 보다 어렵다. 특히 모바일 센서 네트워크에서 노드의 움직임이 빠를 경우 기존의 위치 측정 알고리즘으로는 원하는 시간 내에 위치를 측정할 수 없다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 모바일 센서 네트워크에서의 위치 측정 알고리즘을 제안하고 성능을 향상시켜 실시간에 위치를 측정할 수 있는 기법을 연구하였다. Because mobile sensor network is different with the existing wireless sensor network with fixed nodes, it is more difficult to implement a positioning algorithm in mobile sensor network than in mobile sensor network. In case of fast moving node, a positioning algorithm may be not completed in a given time. In this paper we present the positioning algorithm that improves performance and can complete a computation in time on mobile sensor network.
