림프절로 전이된 비인두 미분화 암종의 세침흡인 세포학적 소견 -주로 방추형 세포의 양상을 나타낸 1례-

We describe a case of fine needle aspiration cytology of metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma in the lymph node of the neck presenting a predominantly spindle cell pattern. A 36 year-old male patient complained of dysesthesia on the right face and a palpable neck mass. Fine needle aspiration was done on the neck mass. Tumor cells were present in syncytial groups or singly with mainly spindle shaped nuclei, vesicular chromatin, thin and regular nuclear membrane, occasional prominent nucleoli and a few fool of cellular cohesiveness. The cytoplasm was scant and pale with ill-defined borders. Mature lymphocytes were present in the background of aspirates and within the tumor cell clusters. Histologically, the tumor of nasopharynx showed several areas of spindle cell pattern. Because the tumor cells showed a predominantly spindle shape with vesicular nuclear chromatin, the differential diagnosis of spindle cell sarcoma or granuloma of epithelioid clils were considered, but the characteristic morphology of the nuclei with vesicular chromatin and prominent nucleoli, and cellular cohesiveness were important in making the diagnosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The possibility of metastatic carcinoma should always be considered in fine needle aspiration cytology of the lymph node in the neck because the incidence of metastatic carcinoma, particularly of the nasopharyngeal carcinoma in the lymph nodes of the neck is relatively high.

Pulmonary hamartoma is the most common benign tumor of the lung but rarely encountered in routine cytologic work-up. We recentely experienced a case of fine needle aspiration cytology of pulmonary hamartoma in a 65-year old male patient. The characteristic cytopathologic features were 1) The mesenchymal components with cuboidal epithelial cells in a clean background, 2) The presence of fibromyxoid mesenchymal component composed of fibroblasts in a loose fibrillary stroma, and 3) Antler-liker fibromyxoid cluster having the rimming of epithelial cells which correspond to the epithelial glowing in cleft-like fashion in pulmonary hamartoma.

Amyloid tumor is a tumorlike localized deposit of amyloid which is encountered occasionally in association with multiple myeloma and various chronic inflammatory diseases. This report describes a case of solitary amyloid tumor of the neck which was the presenting symptom arising in association with multiple myeloma. A 56-year-old woman complained of a palpable neck mass and fine needle aspiration was done. Multiple myeloma was diagnosed on the basis of the bone marrow biopsy and monoclonality of kappa light chain. The histologic and cytologic features of the amyloid appear to be characteristic and may allow a definitive diagnosis to be made on needle aspiration biopsy.

조절 초점과 자아해석, 그리고 정보처리 수월성이 태도와 구매의도에 미치는 영향 연구: 기내식 메시지를 중심으로

Current research investigated the moderating role of regulatory focus and self-construal on persuasion of message, to put forth an explanation that accounts for the effect of fit between regulatory focus as a manner to pursue the goal and self-construal as a motivational orientation enhances persuasion. Based on previous literature, current research predicted as follows: 1. Participants from individualist culture would be more persuaded by the message when the message was frames by promotion (vs. prevention) focus, 2. Participants from collectivist culture would be more persuaded by the flight catering message when the message was frames by prevention (vs. promotion) focus, and finally 3. Processing fluency would mediate the interaction between message framing and self-construal. Consistent with the predictions, results showed that promotion focused message framing was more persuasive when individuals construe them in an independent. In contrast, prevention focused message framing was more persuasive when individuals construe them in an interdependent. Finally, mediated moderation analyses showed that perceived processing fluency underlay the effect of ``feeling right from fit`` on persuasion.

신 맥관근지방종의 세침흡인 세포학적 소견

We describe a case of fine needle aspiration cytology of renal angiomyolipoma which was not associated with the clinical complex of tuberous sclerosis and was incidentally found. It was a solitary lesion and the clinical impression before needle aspiration was renal ceil carcinoma. The aspirated specimen showed mature fat cells, clusters of renal tubular epithelial cells and sheets of pleomorphic smooth muscle cells with fibrillary cytoplasm. The nuclei of smooth muscle celis varied in size and shape. Since the treatment of renal angiomyolipoma differs from that of renal ceil carcinoma, the preoperative cytological diagnosis is of great value.

The hydrothermal reaction between lanthanum(Ⅲ) nitrate $(La(NO3)3${\cdot}$6H_2O)$ and benzene-1,3-dicarboxylic acid $(H_2BDC)$ in the presence of 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane gave a 2-D lanthnum-BDC coordination polymer with an empirical formula of $〔La_4$(BDC)_6(H_2O)_5$〕(H_2O)$ (1). X-ray structure analysis of compound 1 revealed that this polymer contains four distinct La metals. The three La metals are 7-coordinate with three different structures: a capped trigonal prism, a capped octahedron, and a pentagonal bipyramid. The remaining La metal has a 8-coordinate, square antiprismatic structure.

화장품 패키징에 있어 친환경 알림과 투명도의 영향 : 관여도의 조절효과를 중심으로

Recently, there is great volume of interest in well-being, health improvement, and environmental conservation. This trend affects consumers' purchase pattern. Specifically, eco-friendly and organic product are preferred much better than before across various categories, such as cosmetic, toy, and office material. This research focused on eco-friendly cosmetics. In Korea, eco-friendly is one of major promotion points in cosmetic market, however, there is no public certification system in eco-friendly cosmetics. Moreover, there has been little interest in the effect of 'eco-friendly' on consumers' response. In this research, the authors focused on whether eco-friendly message in cosmetic generates more favorable attitudes and purchase intention subsequently. This research investigated how packaging transparency moderates the effect of eco-friendly message. Additionally, eco-involvement's role in the effect of eco-friendly message and packaging transparency was examined. An experiment was run using a fictitious cosmetic. A 2(eco-friendly message)⨯2(packaging transparency)x2(eco-involvement) between-subjects designed eco-friendly message and eco-involvement affected attitudes and purchase intention favorably, whereas packaging transparency had no significant effect. There were no other significant two-way or three-way interactions. Eco-friendly message and eco-involvement effects positive influence toward attitudes and purchase intention. As result, eco-friendly message could be meaningful point of cosmetics positioning and marketing activities. High eco-involved customer shows higher interest for cosmetics. Interesting point was involvement related with environment effects product uses over skin. This founding may uses for future work 'Perspective of customer seeing self body as part of environment'. 최근에 중요성이 지속적으로 부상하고 있는 웰빙(well-being), 건강증진, 환경보존 등의 이슈들은 소비자의 구매행동에 큰 변화를 가져오고 있다. 이 중 친환경이나 유기농을 강조한 제품들은 식품 뿐 아니라 화장품이나 장난감 등 매우 다양한 범주에서 각광받고 있다. 본 연구는 특히 친환경 화장품에 주목하였다. 국내에서 친환경을 강조하는 화장품의 출시는 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 하지만 아직 국내 화장품 시장에서 친환경의 여부를 판단하는 공식적인 인증 시스템조차 마련되어 있지 않을 뿐 아니라, 화장품에 친환경 요소가 부각되면 그렇지 않을 때보다 소비자의 태도가 호의적인지 또한 구체적으로 밝혀진 적이 없다. 이와 더불어 특히 화장품의 경우 패키징이 제품 구매에 큰 영향을 미치는 속성임에도 불구하고, 친환경 화장품을 부각시킬 수 있는 패키징의 특성에 대한 검증 또한 이루어진 바가 없다. 본 연구는 화장품 패키징에 있어 친환경 알림이 제품 태도와 구매의도에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 그리고 특히 패키징의 특성 중 투명도에 주목하였다. 선행연구에서 친환경의 이미지는 녹색에 적합한 것으로 알려져 왔으며, 여러 친환경 또는 유기농 강조 화장품 브랜드들이 녹색을 다수 사용하고 있지만, 본 연구는 동일한 녹색이라고 해도 투명도에 차이가 있을 수 있으며 이는 친환경과의 지각된 적합성 정도에도 유의한 차이를 가져올 것으로 보았다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 친환경 알림과 투명도의 영향이 친환경에 대한 관여도에 의해 조절될 가능성이 있음에 주목했다. 실험은 2(친환경 알림: 표기 vs. 비표기)⨯2(패키징 투명도: 투명 vs. 불투명)⨯2(친환경 관여도: 고관여 vs. 저관여)로 가상의 화장품 광고를 이용해 진행되었다. 집단 간 실험 설계 분석 결과, 제품의 친환경 알림과 관여도는 각각 태도와 구매의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 패키징 투명도의 영향은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 다른 모든 상호작용은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 조사를 위해 가상의 제품을 종이에 인쇄하여 종이색상이 투명제품의 인지에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 반면 인쇄되지 않은 실물의 패키징인 경우 투명도가 미치는 영향이 더 클 수 있다. 따라서 향후 연구에서, 실제 제품의 투명 또는 불투명 패키징을 이용해 실험을 진행해 본 연구 결과와 동일한 반응이 도출된다면, 더 이상 친환경 제품의 패키징에서 투명도는 고려대상이 되지 않아도 된다는 확실한 결론이 얻어질 수 있을 것이다. 결과적으로 본 연구는 화장품의 친환경 알림 및 친환경에 대한 관여도가 제품에 대한 태도 및 구매의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 점을 보임으로써 친환경 여부가 화장품 포지셔닝에 있어 중요한 요소가 됨을 실증적으로 보였다.

체화된 인지가 설득에 미치는 영향

최근에 대두되고 있는 체화된 인지는 신체적 경험을 하나의 수단으로써 활용하여 정보를 처리 및 기억하고 표상화 하는 것이다. 이 관점에 의하면, 신체적 상태나 지각 또는 경험의 시뮬레이션이 인지적 처리에 영향을 주며, 신체-마음-두뇌는 강력하게 유기적으로 연결되어 있다. 본 연구는 체화된 인지가 설득에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 이 관계가 목표 관련성에 의해 조절됨을 보였다. 우선, 본 연구는 체화된 인지에 관한 선행 연구들을 통하여 다양한 맥락에서 진행되어 온 체화된 인지의 영향을 살펴본 후, 온라인 체현과 오프라인 체현으로 나누어 각각에 대해 구체적으로 고찰하였다. 이후, 온라인 체현 중 특히 머리움직임의 영향에 주목해 머리움직임과 설득의 관계를 다룬 문헌들을 살펴보았다. 그리고 머리움직임을 통한 체현이 설득에 미치는 영향을 목표 관련성이 조절할 수 있음에 주목하고, 목표와 목표 관련성이 소비자 행동에서 갖고 있는 의미를 검토하였다. 가상의 시나리오와 광고를 사용하여 머리움직임(끄덕거림 vs. 가로젓기) × 목표 관련성(높음 vs. 낮음) × 메시지 강도(강함 vs. 약함) 설계의 실험이 진행되었다. 그 결과, 머리움직임과 목표 관련성의 주 효과가 유의하였으며, 변수 간 상호 작용 효과도 나타났다. 구체적으로, 목표 관련성이 높을 경우, 끄덕거림 그룹과 가로젓기 그룹 모두 강한(vs. 약한) 메시지에 더 설득되었다. 그런데 목표 관련성이 낮을 경우에서는, 끄덕거림 그룹은 강한 메시지에서 약한 메시지보다 더 설득되었지만, 가로젓기 그룹은 오히려 강한 메시지보다 약한 메시지에 더 설득됨이 나타났다. 한편 붓스트랩핑 테스트를 통해 머리움직임이 설득에 미치는 영향에서 무드가 매개 역할을 하지 않음이 보였다. 실험 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 학문적 및 실무적 시사점이 논의되었다. 마지막으로, 향후 연구를 위한 아이디어와 방향성이 제시되었다. According to the perspective of embodied cognition, actual bodily state and perception and simulations of experience influence cognitive processing via brain`s modality-specific system. Current research focuses on the effect of embodiment (e.g., overt head movements) on persuasion. Specifically, this research is interested in moderating effect of goal-relevancy. The results of 2 (Overt head movements: nodding vs. shaking) × 2 (Goal-relevancy: high vs. low) × 2 (Message strength: strong vs. weak) between-subjects design show that nodding (vs. shaking) group and goal-relevant (vs. goal-irrelevant) group are more persuaded by experimental stimuli. More specifically, under goal-relevant condition, both nodding and shaking groups are more persuaded by strong (vs. weak) message. However, goal-irrelevant condition, the patterns of persuasion between nodding and shaking groups are not consistent. In this condition, nodding participants are more persuaded when they are exposed to strong (vs. weak) message, whereas shaking participants are less persuaded when they are exposed to strong (vs. weak) message. Additionally, bootstrapping tests show that mood does not underlie the effect of overt head movements on persuasion. Theoretical implications and the applications are discussed. Finally, the authors propose ideas and directions for further research.

제주도에서 팔색조 번식지 특성에 따른 지렁이 밀도 비교 연구

Fairy Pittas use the forest around the valley and Gotjawal as breeding places. This survey was conducted to investigate the characteristic of earthworms, specifically its population density, bodysize around the breeding site in Gotjawal and the forest around the valley areas from the middle of July to the end of July 2013. A total of 405 individual earthworms were collected in the 100 small established quadrats, in which 315 were found in Gotjawal and 90 were found in the forest around the valley area. The density of earthworms in Gotjawal was significantly higher compared to that forest around the valley area. It was also observed that the body size of earthworms was significantly different between Gotjawal and the forest around the valley area. Proportion of number of individuals which are larger than 7cm in body size was 43%(n=135) in Gotjawal and 84%(n=76) in the forest around the valley area, respectively. Soil area was not important factor to the density of earthworms. We suggest that Gotjawal can be considered as a suitable breeding site for Fairy Pitta because of the richness of its primary food in this area.
