This study examines the influences of major governmental factors on trust in local governments by analyzing the data from a questionnaire performed for Daejeon Metropolitan City in 2018. Multiple regression analysis was used. There are two notable points in the results of the analysis. First of all, most of the governmental factors set in this study have a significant influence on trust in local governments of both city hall and district offices, but with much more influence on trust in the former than the latter. The reason for this seems to be that citizens expect more from city hall than the district office. The next thing to note is the strong influence of administrative ideals on trust in the administration of city hall. Administrative ideals are in fact the highest values of administration. Citizens who positively evaluate the realization of these administrative ideals by public officials seem to be of course more trusting in the administration of local governments, but especially that of city hall. 본 연구에서는 대전광역시를 대상으로 2018년에 시행한 설문조사 자료의 분석을 통해 지방정부 신뢰에 영향을 미치는 주요 정부(내적)요인들의 영향력을 실증적으로 살펴본다. 통계적 분석방법은 중다회귀분석을 사용했으며, 회귀모형의 종속변수는 시청/구청행정신뢰 2가지, 그리고 독립변수인 정부요인은 공직자와 관련된 ‘공직자요인’ 7가지, 정책과 관련된 ‘정책요인’ 2가지, 그리고 정부기관과 관련된 ‘거버넌스요인’ 3가지를 설정했다. 그런데 사전 분석에서 독립변수들 간의 다중공선성 문제가 발견되어 중다회귀모형은 독립변수로서 거버넌스요인들과 정책요인들을 포함하는 모형, 그리고 공직자 요인들만을 포함하는 모형의 2가지로 정립하였다. 그리고 이들 2가지 모형 각각에 덧붙여, 독립변수들의 보다 순수한 영향력을 파악하기 위해 7가지 통제 변수를 도입한 모형들을 정립했다. 따라서 중다회귀모형은 모두 4가지로 정립하게 되었다. 분석결과에서 특기할 점은, 본 연구에서 설정한 정부요인들은 대체로 시청 및 구청 행정신뢰에 유의한 영향을 미치나, 구청 보다 시청 행정신뢰에 더욱 큰 영향을 미친다는 사실이다. 그 이유는 구청 보다 시청에 대해 시민들의 관심이나 기대하는 바가 더 크기 때문이라고 판단된다. 다음으로 특기할 점은 공직자요인으로 선정한 행정이념들의 강력한 영향력이다. 행정이념은 그야말로 행정의 최고지침인 바, 공직자들의 이러한 행정이념의 구현에 대해 긍정적으로 평가하는 시민일수록 지방정부의 행정을 더욱 신뢰하는 것은 당연한 일인 듯하나, 특히 시청 행정신뢰에 대해서는 매우 강력한 영향을 미치고 있다는 사실이다.

Even though some standard developmental bioassay protocols for environmental assessment using seaurchins have already been described, there have not been many attempts to apply and modify these protocolsurchins commonly found in Korea. Prior to developing a new protocol, it is essential to know the optimal con-ditions for the bioassay procedures. We investigated the optimal conditions(temperature, salinity, and embryodensity) of the sea urchin Strongylocentrotus intermedius. The ideal temperature for developmental bioassay ofS. intermediuswas determined to be 15C and the time required for the embryo to become pluteus larva was 72S. intermediuswas between 30 to 32 psu,which is similar to the range found in the natural habitats of adult populations. The optimum density ofembryos at the beginning of bioassays was 100 embryos/mL. When the assays were carried out at higher densi-ties, the proportion of normally developed larvae decreased significantly.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to assess environmental risk on the emerging contaminants of concern, such as ivermetin, parziquantel, tamiflu and triclosan. Furthermore, we tried to provide a more efficient management practice and a basis for future studies of risk assessment on those substances. Methods: Predicted no effect concentration (PNEC) and predicted environmental concentration (PEC) were determined through modeling and literature reviews. Environmental risk assessment was evaluated by calculating HQ (hazard quotient) by a comparison of PEC (or measured environmental concentration (MEC)) and PNEC. Results: HQ value of tamiflu calculated from MEC was 1.9E-03. For ivermectin and triclosan, the HQ values were not available because these were not detected in the aquatic environment. The toxicity of ivermectin and triclosan showed a very low value, indicating a high level of HQ. However, praziquantel can be categorized into the material that do not require management since they have less than HQ 1. Conclusion: Based on the results of the initial risk assessment, it is assumed that the ivermectin and triclosan have potential to cause direct adverse effects on the aquatic environment. To conduct an accurate environmental risk assessment, the further study on PEC estimation of such contaminants should be actively carried out.
다양한 시험생물종을 이용한 산업폐수 생태독성 평가 및 원인물질 탐색

Toxicity identification and quantification are important factors to evaluate the effect of industrial effluent on the aquatic environment. In order to measure the potential and real toxicity of mixed chemicals in the effluents. the biological method (i.e., WET test) should be used as well as chemical analysis method. In this study, we conducted WET test for various kinds of industrial effluents using aquatic organisms such as water flea (Daphnia magna), algae (Pseudokirchneriella subcapitatai, fish (Oryzias talipes, Danio rerio), and microorganism (Vibrio fisheri). In addition, we carried out chemical analysis and TIE (Toxicity Identification Evaluation) for effluents in order to identify the substances causing toxicity. Among the 30 kinds of wastewater, S13 showed the highest eco-toxicity and Ca²? and Cl? ion were suspected as major compounds causing toxicity for aquatic organisms. In order to confirm these suspected compounds, various confirmation procedures need to be carried out.

Discharged materials from the point or non-point source are released into the sea, and as the results, marine environment is directly affected. We must estimate the impacts of contaminants to marine pollution rapidly and accurately. Therefore, it is needed on early warning system for appreciating marine environmental impacts, and required a bioassay to evaluate abnormal changes. A bioassay test was developed to examine the effects of heavy metal contaminants on the early life stages of the marine annimals. We have studied the effects of metals on early development of a sea urchin species, Strongylocentrotus intermedius. S. intermedius embryos were tested with six metals (Cu, Ag, Zn, Cd, Cr, Ni) and showed the highest sensitivity to Cu as well as the lowest sensitivity to Cd. The order of biological impact for metals was Cu > Ag > Ni > Zn > Cr > Cd. In accordance with the results, sea urchins embryos can provide biological criteria for seawater quality assessment. The sensitivity of developmental bioassay whith S. intermedius is at intermediate level among marine organisms commonly used in aquatic bioassays. And this sea urchin can be routinely employed as a test organism for ecotoxicity assays.
가상조작 도구를 활용한 RME기반 수학학습이 초등학생의 공간감각 및 수학적 태도에 미치는 효과

This study analyzed the 2009 revised curriculum 6th grade math geometric domain and developed virtual operation tool contents based RME theory. These materials were examine to find out how to effect on the spatial sense and mathematical attitudes by applying it to teach the 6th grade students. The results were as follows. First, it is more effective for improving spatial sense to study mathematics based RME theory with virtual operation tool contents than normal one. This means that mathematics study based RME theory with virtual operation contents overcomes the limitations of flat learning environment. And it is great educational and effective method for students to improve their spatial sense. Second, it is more effective for improving mathematical attitudes to study mathematics based RME theory with virtual operation tool contents than normal one. This means that Mathematics study based RME theory with virtual operation contents makes student more participate learning actively. It helps the students who have passive learning habits to have self-directed learning habits, ability to cooperation and communicate. The results of this study suggest that mathematics study based RME theory is very helpful for student to improve their spatial sense and have positive effect on self-concept in mathematics, attitudes toward mathematics and improving study habits in mathematical attitudes. 본 연구에서는 2009 개정 수학과 교육과정에 따른 6학년 수학교과서의 도형 영역을 분석하여 RME에 기반한 가상조작도구 콘텐츠를 개발하고, 이를 초등학교 6학년 학생들을 대상으로 적용하여 공간감각 및 수학적 태도에 미치는 효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 6학년 도형 영역에서 가상조작도구를 활용한 RME기반 수학 학습이 일반적인 수학 학습보다 공간감각 향상에 유의미한 효과를 보였다. 이는 평면적인 학습 환경에서 벗어나 RME기반 3차원 가상조작 콘텐츠를 활용한 수업이 교육적으로 의미가 있으며 학생들의 공간감각을 기르는데 효과적인 방안임을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 초등학교 6학년 도형 영역에서 가상조작도구를 활용한 RME기반 수학 학습을 적용한 실험집단이 비교집단보다 학생들의 수학적 태도에서 유의미한 효과를 보였다. 특히 수학적 태도의 3가지 하위 요소인 수학교과에 대한 자아개념과 교과에 대한 태도, 교과에 대한 학습습관에서 모두 실험집단이 비교집단에 비해 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 이는 가상조작도구를 활용한 RME기반 수학학습이 자기주도적인 학습 습관을 길러주고 수업에 임하는 학습 태도 개선에 효과가 있는 것으로 판단되며 모둠 내에서 서로 협력하고 의사소통하는 모습도 발견할 수 있었다.

Application of biomarkers for assessing marine environmental health risk is a relatively new field. According to the National Research Council and the World Health Organization, biomarkers can be divided into three classes: biomarkers of exposure, biomarkers of effect, and biomarkers of susceptibility. In order to assess exposure to or effect of the environmental pollutants on marine ecosystem, the following set of biomarkers can be examined: detoxification, oxidative stress, biotransformation products, stress responses, apoptosis, physiological metabolisms, neuromuscular responses, reproductions, steroid hormones, antioxidants, genetic modifications. Since early 1990s, several biomarker research groups have developed health indices of marine organisms to be used for assessing the state of the marine environment. Biomarker indices can be used to interpret data obtained from monitoring biological effects. In this review, we will summarize Health assessment Index, Biomarker Index, Bioeffect Assessment Index and Generalized Linear Model. Measurements of biomarker responses and development of biomarker index in marine organisms from contaminated sites offer great a lot of information, which can be used in environmental monitoring programs, designed for various aspects of ecosystem risk assessment.
