강변여과에서 파일럿규모 수평집수관의 수두분포 연구

강변여과용 수평집수관을 모사하는 파일럿 규모의 모래통 실험을 수행하였으며, 다양한 출구유속에 대한 수평집수관에서의 수두분포를 구하였다. Kim24)이 수행한 실험실 규모의 수평집수관에서의 손실수두에 Kim25)이 개발한 이론 즉, 작은 규모의 수평집수관에서의 손실수두로부터 큰 집수관의 손실수두를 계산하는 방법을 적용하여 본 연구의 관측치와 비교함으로써 Kim25)의 이론이 타당함을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 이들의 이론을 적용하여 본 연구에서의 관측치로부터 실규모 집수관에서의 수두분포를 구하는 방안을 예를 들어 설명함으로써 강변여과의 수평집수관 설계방법을 제시하였다. A pilot-scale sand-box experiment simulating a lateral of collector well used in riverbank filtration was performed, and hydraulic head distributions along the lateral were measured according to the various drawdowns at the well. The results of this experiment were compared to the predicted values obtained using a theory previously developed by Kim25) in order for its validation. This theory predicts the head loss in a large-scale lateral given the loss in a small-scale one, and to have actual values for comparison, the results from a lab-scale experiment previously performed by Kim24) were employed. Comparing the experimental values to the extrapolated value indeed confirmed the validity of the theory. A procedure to determine the hydraulic head distribution of a practical-scale lateral was also presented applying the theory to the experimental result of this study in an effort to show the process of lateral design for riverbank filtration.

난소과자극 증후군 (Ovarian Hyperstimulation, OHSS)은 배란 유도의 가장 심각한 합병증 중의 하나로서 난소 비대, 복수, 흉수, 심막 삼출액, 혈액 농축, 전해질 이상 및 혈전증 등의 증상을 초래하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 특히 난소과자극 증후군 환자에서 혈전 색전증의 발생은 적절한 치료에도 불구하고 발생하고 예측이 어렵고 환자를 사망에 이르게 할 수도 있기에 가장 위험한 합병증 중의 하나로 인식되고 있다. 저자들은 체외수정 시술 후 중증 난소과자극 증후군 환자에서 본원 입원 치료 중 합병된 색전증에 대한 증례를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. Ovarian hyperstimuation syndrome (OHSS) is the most serious complication of controlled ovarian stimulation. It causes symptoms such as, ovarian enlargement, ascites, pleural effusion, pericardial effusion, hemoconcentration, electrolyte imbalance, and thromboembolism. Although proper management is done, thromboembolism could occur and is difficult to predict. Moreover it can cause death. Consequently thromboembolism is the most dangerous complication of OHSS. We experienced a OHSS patient with thromboembolism of the brain after having IVF-ET.

언양-밀양 간 국도24호선 석남고개 주변부 절토사면 지반특성

울산광역시 울주군 상북면에서 경상남도 밀양시 산내면을 잇는 국도 24호선은 왕복 2차선으로 기존 도로의 선형이 매우 불량하고, 위험절토사면이 집중적으로 분포되어 있다. 2002년에는 관련기관과의 연계로 울주-밀양 간 국도 24호선의 도로절토사면에 대한 현황조사가 실시되었으며, 그 중 57개소 현장은 위험절토사면으로 분류하여 추가적인 상세 현장조사가 실시되었으며, 불연속면의 방향에 관한 다양한 정보들이 취득되었다. 2002년에는 관련기관과의 연계로 울주-밀양 간 국도 24호선의 도로절토사면에 대한 현황조사가 실시되었으며, 그 중 57개소 현장은 위험절토사면으로 분류하여 추가적인 상세 현장조사가 실시되었으며, 불연속면의 방향에 관한 다양한 정보들이 되었으며, 이에 대한 길이별, 경사별 분포현황, 불연속면 발달상태 등 여러제반 특성을 살펴 보았다. National Road No.24 connects Ulju-gun in Ulsan Metropolitan City and Milyang city in south Gyongsang Province. The width of the road is small and narrow and many of the dangerous cut slopes are distributed along the way. In 2002, the government officer carried on the brief exploration about road cut slopes, and KICT conduct a detailed additionally investigations 57 dangerous cut slope sites of them. We gained a variety of information of the each slope such as length, slope, discontinuites et al.

빅데이터 환경에서 분석 자원이 기업 성과에 미치는 영향

정보기술 발전은 기업이 보유하고 있는 다양한 구조 및 비구조 데이터를 관리할 수 있게 하였다. 이러한 빅데이터 활용은 기업의 새로운 비즈니스 핵심가치로 평가 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 빅데이터로 인해 더욱 중요하게 평가받는 데이터 자원이 기업 분석 활용에 미치는 영향을 연구하고자 한다. 최신 해외 보고서들을 살펴보면, 빅데이터 활용성과에 대한 실증 연구를 보여주고 있다. 이러한 해외 실증 연구와 비교하여 국내 기업의 빅데이터 활용 특성을 분석하고자 한다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 빅데이터 활용 기업에 적용 가능한 성숙모형 개발에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. With the rapid development of information technology, we can manage not only structured data but also unstructured data. Big data environments drive new business values. This study examines the effect of analytic resources to business performance under big data environments. Recent worldwide reports showed empirical performance results of big data applications. Compared to these reports, we attempt to analyze resources of big data applications to companies in Korea. This study results in current status of big data use in Korea. and will help to develop a maturity model of big data applications.

Inhaled Iloprost as a First-Line Therapy for Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of the Newborn

Purpose: Persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn (PPHN) is a potentially fatal disease. Inhaled iloprost, a stable analogue of prostacyclin, has recently been used as a therapeutic option. However, there are no clinical guidelines on the use of iloprost, specifically for neonates. This study aimed to suggest the use of inhaled iloprost as a rescue therapy for PPHN based on our experience. Methods: The efficacy and adverse events of inhaled iloprost were evaluated prospectively in nine full-term neonates with PPHN. We monitored the following parameters: fraction of inspired oxygen (FiO2), respiratory severity score (RSS), heart rate, and mean blood pressure. Results: The inhalation dose was 1 to 2 μg/kg initially, and 4 to 8 inhalations per day were applied over 2 to 8 days, except in the case of one neonate who died 2 days after birth. Echocardiographic findings, changes in FiO2, and RSS improved within the next 7 days in eight of the nine patients. Severe side effects on heart rate and blood pressure were not observed. Conclusion: Our experience suggests that inhaled iloprost can be used as a first-line treatment in newborn infants with PPHN when inhaled nitric oxide is not available. To the best of our knowledge, this report is the first prospective case series on the use of inhaled iloprost in PPHN.

액티브 피싱 공격 및 대응방안 고찰

인터넷을 기반으로 하는 서비스가 활성화됨에 따라, 불순한 목적으로 악용하는 사례 또한 증가하고 있다. 특히 피싱 공격은 사회적인 문제로까지 확대되고 있으며, 대응방안 또한 대국민 교육 차원에서 전달되고 있다. 하지만, 새롭게 등장하는 액티브 피싱 공격은 기존의 대응방안으로는 해결할 수 없으며, 여러 보안 기술을 사용하더라도 해결할 수 없다는 점에서 심각하다. 본고는 액티브 피싱에 대한 소개와 함께, 기존의 대응방안과 여러 보안 기술들의 한계점을 제시한다. 그리고 액티브 피싱을 해결하기 위해 필요한 기술의 요구사항을 고찰한다.

Therapeutic montitoring of drugs is a well established clinical 1001. However, the state of art is somewhat less advanced for psychotrpoic agents than it is for other classes of drugs, for several reasons. Most psychotropics have large volumes of distribution and achieve relatively low plasma concentrations following therapeutic doses. Many have one or more active metabolites. As a consequene, the analytical methodologies are often complex and not always reliable; well-controlled clinical studies are difficult to perform; and therapeutic ranges have been difficult to establish. Despite these limitations, prudent and selective monitoring of serum drug concentrations, particularly of the tricyclic antidepressants can be helpful in clinical management. This paper presents an overview of clinical and mothodological issues surrounding the utility of blood level measurement.
