This study developed an artificial intelligence education program using localized public data as an educational method for improving computing thinking skills of elementary school students. According to the ADDIE model, the program design was carried out based on the results of pre-requisite analysis for elementary school students, and textbooks and education programs were developed. Based on localized public data, the training program was constructed to learn the principles of artificial intelligence using machine learning for kids and scratches and to solve problems and improve computational thinking through abstracting public data for purpose. It is necessary to put this training program into the field through further research and verify the change in students' computational thinking as a result.

In these days, wastewater reclamation and seawater desalination play essential role in addressing the challenge of worldwide water scarcity. Particularly, reverse osmosis (RO) for seawater desalination process is commonly used due to less energy consumption than conventional thermodynamic systems. However, membrane fouling and electrical energy consumption during operation of RO system for seawater desalination haver continued to be a obstruction to its application. In this study, therefore, wastewater secondary effluent is used for osmotic dilution of seawater. Firstly, fouling behaviour of RO by simulating wastewater effluent in osmotic dilution process was measured and we calculated energy consumption of overall desalination process by theoretical equations and commercial program. Our results reveal that RO membrane fouling can be efficiently controlled by pre-treatment systems such as nano filtration (NF) or forward osmosis (FO) process. Especially FO system for osmotic dilution process is a non-pressurized membrane system and, therefore, the operating energy consumption of overall desalination system was the lowest. Moreover, fouling layer on FO membrane is comparatively weak and reversible enough to be disrupted by physical cleaning. Thus, RO system with low salinity feed water through FO process is possible as a less energy consuming desalination system with efficient membrane fouling control.

Entering 2000, Korea has carried comprehensive FTA(Free Trade Agreement)s with nations all around the world. The FTA’s economic influence is strongly affecting on domestic legislation, especially after the FTAs between Korea-US and Korea-EU. FTA, as an international economic law, can be applied on domestic law that eventually leads to the change in several domestic laws. The positive aspect of these FTA’s normative function can be represented as the ‘Legal Infrastructure’ similar to the industrial infrastructure facilities which promote economic development. Therefore, we must prepare the beneficial countermeasures utilizing these law based issues as well as the expansion of FTAs. This report explains the legal based property of FTAs, looking through the facts that FTAs have led changes in domestic laws. Also, analyzing several changes in domestic laws after the FTAs, the need of expansion in legal base of FTAs in new areas is emphasized. In the coming up future, existing domestic laws should be changed appropriately for domestic businesses’ effective use of FTA’s legal base. Also effort on binding FTAs in newly produced fields is essential. For instance, once norms in Korea’s ODA and FTA are harmonized, the economic development in Korea and stability of international society would co-occur, inflecting FTA’s legal base. Furthermore, it could be used on economic trades between North and South Koreas, later on the stable peace in Korean Peninsula.

Tire, wheel, wheel bearing, knuckle, brake, and suspension dominate vehicle steering performance. Stiffness of wheel bearing, which is a part of corner module, is important property to affect steering performance. Most of wheel bearings are used for angular contact ball bearing. In general, stiffness of angular contact ball bearing depends on ball contact angle. In this study, analysis model was developed, which can consider the stiffness behavior with ball contact angle change. MSC. MARC was used for the numerical analysis with nonlinear and contact analysis. Stiffness behavior was investigated for the small straight drive loading condition. To verify the reliability of this study, experiment was carried out and compared with analysis results. The experiment results showed good agreement with the analysis results.

전 세계적인 기후변화로 인하여 선박 내 이용되는 물과 관련된 배출 규제도 매년 강화되고 있는 추세이다. 심해지는 규제를 만족하기 위하여 다양한 선박용 수처리 기술이 개발되고 있으며, 고도화 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 선박 내에서 이루어지는 수처리 공정인 선박 평형수(ballast water)처리, 조수기(fresh water generator)를 통한 선박 내 용수 공급, 대기오염 저감을 위한 스크러버(wet scrubber) 폐세정수 처리 공정과 관련된 국제해사기구(international maritime organication, IMO)와 같은 국제적인 규제 및 특정지역과 연안에 위치한 주정부 기관의 규제현황에 대해 문헌조사를 통해 정리하였다. 이를 바탕으로 다양한 선박 내 수자원 활용과 규제에 부합하기 위해 적용되고 있는 관련 수처리 기술을 용도별로 정리하였으며, 현재 기존기술의 효율 개선 및 신기술 도입과 관련된 연구 현황을 정리하였다. 이러한 선박 내 수처리 현황 및 향후 적용될 기술개발연구를 바탕으로 지속가능한 해양환경 조성 및 기후변화 대응이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

Automotive wheel bearing is one of important parts that transmits engine power into wheels and supports vehicle weight. In this study, strength analysis and design optimization are carried out for wheel bearing. First, for cracked bearing strength analysis is performed to calculate the stress distribution. Next, optimization is performed in order to minimize the stress of cracked region. From the result, we assumed that the crack cannot be occurred.
