        셀-튜브형 잠열축열조의 축열특성에 관한 연구

        An experimental study has been carried out in order to investigate the heat storage characteristics for a latent heat storage tank with horizontal shell and tube type. The heat storage tank consists of cylindrical capsules with a staggered tube bank. The effects of flow rates and initial temperature differences on the melting time and heat storage rates are examined. It is found that the melting time decreases with increase of the flow rates and initial temperature differences. Results also show that the time-averaged overall heat transfer coefficients increase in proportion to the increase of flow rates and initial temperature differences.

        집적영상 기술에서의 요소영상 배열을 생성하기 위한 Fast 알고리즘

        본 논문에서는 컴퓨터적으로 생성하는 집적영상 시스템에서 요소영상 배열을 생성하기 위한 새로운 fast 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이 알고리즘은 깊이 정보를 사용해서 요소영상 배열을 생성하며, 경계 영역 개념을 도입하여 경계영역 내에 있는 복셀에 대해서만 연산을 수행하여 알고리즘의 계산 속도를 개선하였다. 제안된 알고리즘과 기존 알고리즘의 계산 시간을 이론적 및 실험적으로 비교한 결과 제안된 알고리즘이 더 효율적임을 증명하였다.

        RPC(Remote Procedure Call) is the most general paradigm to support IPC (Inter-Process Communication) between processes on the different computer which is connected through the computer network. It is used to various areas on distributed system. Therefore, the understanding and design of RPC is very important on the design of distributed system. Although the concept and implementation of RPC is simple, there are many things to implement RPC transparently. Those are client-server binding, RPC semantics, transport protocol to support the transparency which is different with normal procedure call. In this paper. I will survey the concept of RPC and the subtle things in designing it.

        수평식 셸-튜브형 잠열축열조의 축열 및 방열특성에 관한 실험적 연구

        An experimental study has been carried out in order to investigate the heat storage characteristics for a latent heat storage tank with horizontal shell and tube type. The heat exchanger consisted of horizontal cylindrical capsules with a staggered tube bank layout. Based on the obtained data, the effects of flow rate and inlet fluid temperature on the melting time and heat storage rates were examined. It is found that the melting time decreased with increase of the flow rate and the inlet temperature. Results also show that at the initial stage of heat transfer the heat storage rate represents the maximum value and rapidly decreases.

      • 화일 시스템의 저장 장치 관리 기법에 관한 연구

        Next-generation workstations will have hardware support for digital continuous media (CM) such as audio and video. CM application handle data at high rates, with strict timing requirements, and often in small chunks. If such applications are to run efficiently and predictably as user-level programs, an operating system must provide efficient file system, scheduling and IPC mechanisms that reflect these needs. The storage devices offer huge storage capacity at a low cost per byte, but with large access times. Disk technology is improving rapidly, but the improvements have been primarily in the area of cost and capacity rather than performance. So in this paper, we will survey the several mechanism to improve the performance in term of access time. These are the traditional UNIX file system, fast file system, log-structed file system, logical disk, and file system for digital audio/video. This study is necessary for supporting continuous media even though we will get more fast disk.

        국내에서 생장한 Kenaf의 해부학적 특성

        국내에서 재배한 kenaf의 해부학적 특성을 광학현미경법으로 조사하였다. Kenaf의 수피부에는 인피섬유, 사부방사조직, 피층유세포 등이 존해하였고, 목질부는 도관, 목섬유, 방사조직 등으로 구성되어 있었다. 도관은 고립관공과 2~3개가 방사방향으로 복합한 복합관공이 많이 존재하였고, 방사조직은 평복, 직립, 방형세포가 모두 분포하고 있었다. 접선단면에서 방사조직은 단열 및 다열방사조직으로 구성되었다. 수피비의 인피섬유층은 생장기간과 함께 증가하였다. Anatomical properties of Kenaf cultivated in Korea was investigated using light microscopy. Bast fiber, phloem ray and cortex parencyma cell were observed in bast, and vessel, wood fiber and rat in core. A lot of solitary and multiple radial pores in core existed. The cell type of ray parenchyma in radial section was procumbent, upright and square sell. Uniseriate and multiseriate rays existed in tangential section. The layer of bast fiber in bast increased with in creasing the growth period.

        DCT를 사용한 디지털 하프토닝

        이 논문에서는 먼저 디지털 하프토닝 영상을 생성하는 기존의 방법들과 DCT 변환에 대해서 설명한다. 그런 후에 DCT 변환에 근간을 둔 새롭고 단순한 하프토닝 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이 논문은 제안한 알고리즘을 검정하기 위해서 실현 가능성 검증을 수행한다. 그래서 DCT 계수의 가중치를 조절하여 생성된 여러 가지 영상들을 평가하였 다. 실험을 통해서 단순한 이상적인 계단 함수 형태의 가중치를 사용하는 것보다는 램프 함수 형태의 가중치를 사용 하면 더 좋은 결과를 얻었다. 단순한 응용분야로서 MPEG 비디오에 제안한 알고리즘을 적용하여 하프토닝 비디오를 생성할 수 있다. In this paper, we discussed the traditional methods of generating digital halftoning image and DCT transform. Then we propose a new and simple halftoning algorithm that is based on DCT transformation. We do the feasibility test to verify the proposed algorithm. So we assessed several images generated by adjusting weights of DCT coefficients. As a result, we got the better result for weights of the ramp function type than for weights of the step function type through experiment. As a simple application, we can apply our algorithm to the MPEG video for generating the halftoning video.

        Development of Applications for Disaster Safety Management of Traditional Markets

        While traditional markets have functioned as major trade centers that regulated regional economy in Korea in the past, they have lost their significance and popularity over the last few decades due to the expansion of Internet shopping and development of superstores and convenience stores. With lack of support from the local government, the traditional markets in the Gyeonggi province became outdated and incapable of competing against modern forms of markets. Antiquated facilities as well as insanitary surroundings of traditional markets incapacitated them from retaining their customers, and traditional markets were soon overshadowed by superstores. With close examination of the Sung-ho traditional market, an embryonic traditional market located in Jung-won gu, Sungnam city, this study aims to identify major safety problems of traditional markets. Further, the study will also introduce a smartphone disaster management application to redress those problems.

      • 실시간 우선순위 반전 관리에 관한 연구

        In real-time systems preemptive priority driven schedulers are used to schedule jobs to meet the timing requirements. When jobs share common resources, unbounded priority inversion can be occured. It makes real-time system unpredictable. To improve the schedulability of the system, we need to solve the priority inversion problem. In this paper, we survey a several protocols to eliminate unbounded priority inversion. The simplest one is to disable preemption during the execution of all critical sections. The others are basic priority inheritance protocoI(BPI) and priority ceiling protocols(PCP).
