Recently the car tuning has become a trailblazing and creative culture that expresses the personality of the owner. In this paper, the "Car-Vatar", which is the compound word formed from the words "Car" and "Avatar", has been developed to investigate car tuning on the metaverse engineering platform. The Car-Vatar has been developed as a web-based vehicle dynamic simulation service for providing information about car tuning. That has been focused on investigating diverse vehicular performances, such as acceleration, braking, handling and fuel efficiency, according to the tuning vehicles and tuning parts on the virtual engineering platform. The Car-Vatar platform has provided two major services; one is real-time 3D tuning information system for the dress-up and performance-up tuning parts, the other is diverse vehicle dynamics system for the performance-up tuning parts. To check the validation of the Car-Vatar platform, the comparison between virtual simulation results and driving test results has been discussed on various driving environments.

Active stabilizers use signals such as steering angle, yaw rate, and lateral acceleration to vary the roll stiffness of the front and rear suspension depending on the vehicle's driving conditions, and are attracting attention as RSC (Roll Stability Control) system that suppresses roll when turning and improves ride comfort when going straight. Various studies have been conducted in relation to active stabilizer bars and RSC systems. However, accurate modeling of passive stabilizer model and active stabilizer model and vehicle dynamics analysis result verification are insufficient, and performance result analysis related to vehicle roll angle estimation and electric motor control is insufficient. Therefore, in this study, an accurate vehicle dynamics model was constructed by measuring the passive/active stabilizer bar model and component parameters. Based on this, the analysis result with high reliability was derived by comparing the roll angle estimation algorithm based on the lateral acceleration and suspension of the vehicle with the actual vehicle driving test result. In addition, it was intended to accurately analyze the motor torque characteristics and roll reduction effects of the electric motor-driven RSC system.

Continuous exercise and bright light affect brain function, particularly in seasonal affective disorders. However, the underlying mechanism of action remains unclear. In this study, we examined whether low-intensity treadmillexercise and 4 weeks of bright light exposure change the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF), phosphoinositide 3-kinase/AKT (PI3K/AKT) pathway, protein kinase C (PKC), extracellular signalregulatedkinases (ERK1/2), cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) response element-binding protein(CREB), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), and glycogen synthase kinase-3β (GSK-3β) in the brainof 5-week old Sprague–Dawley male rats by performing western blot analysis. We demonstrated that BDNFexpression significantly increased with exercise and light exposure compared to a control group. Moreover, wefound that the expression levels of PI3K, PKC, p-ERK1/2, p-CREB, p-AKT, and VEGF increased significantly inthe hippocampus and cortex with exercise and light exposure compared to the levels from a control group. However, phosphorylated GSK-3β level was unchanged, and even slightly decreased with exercise and lightexposure. These results suggest that low-intensity treadmill exercise and bright light exposure induce BDNFexpression and activate its downstream kinase signaling pathway, which in turn activate CREB-mediatedtranscription of neurotrophic factors and may stimulate neurogenesis and improve neuronal functions.
