        Ethylene Oxide 처리와 Gamma 선 조사가 건조 농산물의 품질에 미치는 영향

        Gamma irradiation as a new physical treatment was applied to comparative researches with a conventional chemical fumigant on the microbiological and physicochemical qualities of selected agricultural products such as powdered hot pepper soybean paste, oyster mushroom powder, carrot flake, and raw sesame. The microorganisms contaminated in the sample, including total bacteria, thermophiles, acid tolerant bacteria, fungi, osmophilic molds and coliforms were sterilized with irradiation doses of 7-10 kGy, while ethylene oxide (E.O) fumigation proved insufficient for the destruction of them. An optimum dose of irradiation was less detrimental than E.O. fumigation to the physicochemical properties of the sample. Sensory evaluation after three months of storage at room temperatures showed that the overall acceptability of irradiated sample was higher than that of the nontreated control as well as E.O. fumigated samples.

        A Study on the Effect of Using a Flattening Filter in a Medical Linear Accelerator on the Dose Distribution

        This study compared the dependence of the tissue maximum ratio (TMR) and the beam profileon the use of a flattening filter when a linear accelerator is used for radiation exposure of a smallfield size. To examine change according to the field size, we limit the collimator size to 1, 2 and 3cm. A water phantom and an ion chamber are used to measure each TMR while a diode is used toobtain the beam profile. The TMR is approximately 4% higher at a depth of 10 cm in the normalmode than it is in the stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) mode and approximately 8% higher at adepth of 20 cm in the normal mode than it is in the SRS mode. According to the measurementresults for the beam profile, the dose decreases slightly faster in the SRS mode than in the normalmode. On the other hand, the two modes do not show any significant difference because similarshapes are observed in the two modes. According to the analysis results for the TMR and the beamprofile for a small field size, there are almost no differences between the normal mode and the SRSmode. Therefore, the SRS mode can be used to increase the dose rate in radiation treatments thatuse a small field size and to reduce the time for treatment.

        This study is focused on the concept and theory of image training and its characteristics and actual effect along with the virtual reality. For image training to take effect and lead to the improvement in competitive power. both athletes and instructors should always try to find out ways to practice image training in a theoretical way, while working out to find out a psychological preparation method for each of the athlete, with more comprehensive point of view. Virtual reality technology is very useful for the sports science 21C, and is able to contribute to the development of new teaching and learning methods in sports science. One of these computer-based technologies. virtual reality, is possible to use in many directions. Virtual reality is defined as a highly interactive. computer-based. multimedia environment in which the user becomes the participant, with the computer in a virtual real world. A key feature of virtual reality is real- time interactivity, in that the computer is able to detect user inputs and instantaneously modify the virtual world. It is being used in a wide variety of fields including physics. chemistry, human biology. biomedical sciences, military. architecture, industry and the entertainment. In field. using sports science program developed by virtual reality technology can increase the interests of athletes, promote understanding of sports science concepts, help sports activity, and encourage creative learning. The Future of virtual reality in sports activity is bright.

        강원도 삼척시 근덕면 궁촌항 방파제 확장 전, 후의 해안선 변화

        This study tries to reveal influence of artificial structure construction on shoreline change using DSAS 4.3. Before breakwater extension at the Gungchon Port, beaches at the study area were dominated by long-term erosion and especially, severe shoreline retreat was prevailed at the Wonpyeong Beach that is opened to offshore. During 2 years after the extension leading formation of shadow zone, the Gungchon Beach was rapidly developed due to sand supply to the shadow zone and then stabilized. The shadow zone only affected the northern part of the Wonpyeong Beach, while beaches from the southern part of the Wonpyeong Beach to the Munam Beach was little affected. Beach nourishment and groin construction led beach development at the northern part of the Wonpyeong Beach, while beach erosion from the southern part of the Wonypeong Beach to the Munam Beach was caused by the groin. This study suggests that sufficient consideration before coastal structure construction should be made regardless of purposes.

        남북교류협력 변천에 따른 접경지역 발전 방안

        The purpose of this paper is to explore the development plan of the border area according to the change of Inter-Korean exchange and cooperation. The importance of Inter-Korean exchange and cooperation and border areas(DMZ) can be guessed from the Constitution and laws. There has been a great development in that the basis for development and preservation of the border area, where it was difficult for residents to exercise their property rights in the past, has been established. As a result of reviewing previous studies, various theories and arguments, the practice of inter-Korean exchange and cooperation according to changes in North Korean trends, and the development and preservation of border areas were freely and diversely studied. Recently, concrete utilization plans have been proposed for the border area, and creative ideas are emerging. As a development plan, first, it is necessary to collect the opinions of related organizations related to unification. Second, the placement of “medical institutions” in border areas should be considered. Third, the border area is a place that symbolizes peaceful unification, so the government needs to play a certain role in revitalizing religious discussions. Fourth, it is a way to connect the border area and companion animals. The government can promote the project in a more expanded form by attracting or cooperating with companies. Lastly, it is necessary to support the production of various video materials based on the border area. The biggest limitation of this article is that it deals with exchange and cooperation, excluding North Korea. Despite various theoretical and practical difficulties, opportunities to come up with better ideas should be provided by more actively participating in inter-Korean exchange and cooperation and discussions on the border area. 이 논문은 남북교류협력 변천에 따른 접경지역 발전 방안 탐색에 목적이 있다. 헌법을 포함한 5개의 법률 근거만을 보더라도 남북교류협력과 접경지역의 중요성을 충분히 짐작할 수 있다. 특히, 과거에 재산권 행사가 매우 어려웠던 접경지역에 대한 개발과 보존 기반이 마련되었다는 점에서 진일보했다. 선행연구 검토 결과, 국내외에서 제시되었던 이론과 주장, 북한 동향 변화에 따른 남북교류협력 실제, 접경지역 개발과 보존이 자유롭고 다양하게 연구된다는 특징이 있다. 최근 연구는 접경지역을 두고 구체적 활용방안이 제시되어 과거보다 창의적인 아이디어가 많은 편이다. 남북교류협력 변천, 통일부와 행정안전부 정책, 지방자치단체 업무계획의 공통점은 “길(Road)”을 강조하며 기존 시설 유지와 보수, 시스템 고도화, 프로그램 업그레이드가 다양하게 이루어지고 있다. 지방자치단체의 지리적 여건 등에 맞게 다양한 프로그램이 추진되고 있으며 철도나 도로 교통 확대를 포함한 대단위 사업이 논의될 수 있다. 이미 물류 교류를 시범적으로 경험했었고 철도와 도로 등도 착공식을 거행했기에 앞으로 이를 더 논의하기는 쉽다. 발전 방안으로 첫째, 통일 관련 유관기관 의견을 수렴할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 접경지역에 “의료기관”을 배치하는 것도 고려해야 한다. 셋째, 접경지역은 평화통일을 상징하는 곳이므로 종교계 논의도 활성화하는데 정부 역할이 어느 정도 필요하다. 넷째, 접경지역과 반려동물을 연계하는 방법이다. 정부가 기업을 유치하거나 협력해서 더 확대된 형태로 사업을 추진할 수 있다. 마지막으로 접경지역을 소재로 다양한 영상물 제작을 지원해야 한다. 이 글은 북한을 제외하고 교류 협력을 다루었다는 점이 가장 큰 한계며 이론적으로나 실질적인 어려움에도 불구하고 더 적극적으로 남북교류협력과 접경지역 논의에 참여해서 더 좋은 아이디어가 나올 수 있는 기회가 마련되어야 한다.
