The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of galvanic current between different metallic restorations on human saliva. The rate of salivary flow and concentrations of IgG, IgM, sIgA and lactoferrin were measured. In this study, unstimulated whole saliva collected before restoration was regarded as control group and unstimulated whole saliva collected 10 minutes, 1 day, 1 week, and 1 month after restoration were regarded as experimental groups. Following results were obtained from this study. 1. There were some differences in values of salivary flow rate between experimental groups, but the changes in values compared to those of the control group were not statistically significant(P>0.05). 2. Measurements of major antibacterial components of saliva showed that while the concentrations of IgG and IgM decreased significantly 1 week and 1 month after restoration(P<0.05), changes in values of sIgA and lactoferrin were not statistically significant(P>0.05). 3. In vitro measurements of galvanic currents decreased sharply in the first 20 seconds and thereafter decreased gradually. Galvanic current values measured in the early stages were greatly varied, but after 2 hours, the values in all groups approximated each other.

AbstractTo examine the microleakage of posterior esthetic restorative materials, using 2% methylene blue dye solution, dye penetration was determined with 80 permanent posterior teeth after thermocycling. The following results were obtained. 1. Amalgam group showed the most severe dye penetration of all test groups through the enamel and dentin / cementum margins. 2. Clearfil group showed much more dye penetration than P-50 at the enamel margin and than resin inlay system at the dentin / cementum margin. 3. Through the etched enamel margin, P-50 and resin inlay system groups showed no dye penetration, if any, but through the dentin / cementum margin, all test groups showed dye penetration. 4. Resin inlay system showed the least dye penetration of all test groups through the dentin / cementum margin.
Susceptibility Analysis of Debris Flow Based on GIS in Yanbian Region, China

Yanbian area is taken as the research area In this study, nine influencing factors, including elevation, slope, aspect, precipitation, river, stratum lithology, soil types, fault and land use, are selected. 327 debris flow points in the study area are taken as sample data. back propagation(BP) neural network model and information quantity model are introduced to calculate the weight of each influencing factor, and the susceptibility of debris flow in this area is evaluated and analyzed. The results show that 15% of Yanbian area is susceptible to debris flow, it mainly distributes in the middle part of Helong City, the northern part of Antu County, the middle part of Hunchun City and the southern part of Dunhua City, and the major factors influencing debris flow disasters are river, elevation, slope and rainfall. The susceptibility analysis map obtained by the neural network model is more consistent with the debris flow in the history of Yanbian Prefecture, and 80% of the debris flow occurs in the comparatively dangerous areas and danger areas.
