Phylogeny of Flavobacteria Group Isolated from Freshwater Using Multilocus Sequencing Analysis

Sequence analysis of the 16S rRNA gene has been widely used for the classification of microorganisms. However, we havebeen unable to clearly identify five Flavobacterium species isolated from a freshwater by using the gene as a single marker,because the evolutionary history is incomplete and the pace of DNA substitutions is relatively rapid in the bacteria. In thisstudy, we tried to classify Flavobacterium species through multilocus sequence analysis (MLSA), which is a practical andreliable technique for the identification or classification of bacteria. The five Flavobacterium species isolated from freshwaterand 37 other strains were classified based on six housekeeping genes: gyrB, dnaK, tuf, murG, atpA, and glyA. The genes wereamplified by PCR and subjected to DNA sequencing. Based on the combined DNA sequence (4,412 bp) of the sixhousekeeping genes, we analyzed the phylogenetic relationship among the Flavobacterium species. The results indicatedthat MLSA, based on the six housekeeping genes, is a trustworthy method for the identification of closely relatedFlavobacterium species.
대학 교양체육 교육과정의 편성과 운영 개성에 관한 연구

This study aims at not only establishing programs for the purpose of the efficient composition of curriculums to cultural gymnastics, but also seeking after a substantial plan of cultural gymnastics for the sake of efficiency in a cultural education which is required by the present society. The objects of study consist in 383 students at "Y" university & 417 female students at "E"University, existing in Seoul, and they were attending a lecture about the cultural gymnastics at the time when the questionnaires were drawn up. And the conclusions of this study was as follows: 1. In the greatest reason that they are now choosing the course of cultural gymnastics, 63% of male students and 61.4% of sophomores, juniors and seniors selected its course due to their taste, and 80.8% of female students and 77.5% of freshmen chose its course due to convenience in a subject or a schedule. 2. In the satisfied degree which they are presently attending a lecture to cultural gymnastics, sophomores, juniors and seniors of male students show their satisfactions at 71.7%; female students, 40.6%;Freshmen, only 41.8%. 3. As for assistant instructors, 64.4% of male students and 61.1% of sophomores, juniors and seniors want to be in need of assistant instructors, and 54.9% of female students and 56.4% of freshmen do so as well. 4. If choosing cultural gymnastics again, what they wish most is tennis first on the list at all groups 5. As for the questionnaire of whether or net the present facilities and circumstances for cultural gymnastics are enough to carry out its course, all the groups respond to 'No' consistently.
야구경기시 최적의 Batting Stance를 찾기 위한 일연구 : Responce Time을 중심으로

In order to find out the optimum batting stance in the baseball game, measurement of swing response times in variouse stances and analisis were accomplished. Response timestimulated with ray were measured using 1/1000 Sec. Digital timer which was attached a raycut switch. 17members of the Yonsei University baseball team voluntered to act as subjects. Conclusions. 1. There was statistically significant relationship between the orders of better hitters which was made by 5 members of the team and response time. 2. The swing way without striding was better than others to shorten the swing response time. 3. There was no statistically significant relationship between the consistency of striding and the orders of better hitters which was made by 5 members the team. But the standard deviations of better hitter group(from top to fifth) was mostly not more than 2.3 and showed they were more consistent than others.
Three-dimensional finite element analysis of platform switched implant

PURPOSE. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the platform switching concept on an implant system and peri-implant bone using three-dimensional finite element analysis. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Two three-dimensional finite element models for wide platform and platform switching were created. In the wide platform model, a wide platform abutment was connected to a wide platform implant. In the platform switching model, the wide platform abutment of the wide platform model was replaced by a regular platform abutment. A contact condition was set between the implant components. A vertical load of 300 N was applied to the crown. The maximum von Mises stress values and displacements of the two models were compared to analyze the biomechanical behavior of the models. RESULTS. In the two models, the stress was mainly concentrated at the bottom of the abutment and the top surface of the implant in both models. However, the von Mises stress values were much higher in the platform switching model in most of the components, except for the bone. The highest von Mises values and stress distribution pattern of the bone were similar in the two models. The components of the platform switching model showed greater displacement than those of the wide platform model. CONCLUSION. Due to the stress concentration generated in the implant and the prosthodontic components of the platform switched implant, the mechanical complications might occur when platform switching concept is used.
