This study conducted a meta-analysis of studies intended for research 14 cases of psychological variables collected by the study of exercise programs applied to target the elderly in 2000-2012 were as follows. Effect of effect size is applied to the psychological variables of exercise program because they are effective for the elderly sized to 12.5%, the elderly, and it is recommended that the strength psychological variables analyzed in this study, the effect of a larger size impact the study and analysis of the different psychological variables that are needed.

This study was performed to investigate the relationship between the physical fitness and mental health state of the rural middle school students. Two-hundred thirty-four middle school students were placed into two gender groups(boys and girls) and/or three age groups(14, 15, and 16 yrs). All subjects completed the physical fitness tests and the mental health questionnaire. After those tests, the data was collected and analyzed by MANOVA and ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation and multiple regression. The conclusions were as follows. First, in consequence of the physical fitness comparison by gender and age, while aging, boys did not show a significant difference in power, balance, ability, and flexibility, having significant improvements in muscle strength, muscular endurance, and cardiovascular endurance. Second, in consequence of the analysis of mental health state by gender, results showed that boys were better than girls in the mental health state, especially boys were better in Somatization, Anxiety, Photic Anxiety, and Psychotism. Third, in consequence of the analysis of mental health status by age, results showed a significant difference in Obsession and Interpersonal Sensitivity among nine symptom check-up lists. The older the students were, the more they were suffering from Obession, and Interpersonal Sensitivity. Finally, in consequence of the analysis of the relationship between physical fitness and mental health status by gender, the physical fitness factors of boy students had no meaningful relationship with mental health factors. On the other hand, girl students had a meaningful relationship between muscle strength and mental health factors-Anxiety, Interpersonal Sensitivity, Hostility, Phobic Anxiety, Paranoid Adaption, and Psycotism. Also girl students had a significant relationship between flexibility and mental health factors-Obsessive, Somatization, Depression, Hostility, Phobic Anxiety, Paranoid Ideation and Psychotism.

The purpose of this study was to review the effects of stress hormon response to various exercise intensities and levels of emotional quotient to understanding the relationships between exercise and emotion This study can be summarized as follows : 1. In the ecdocrine system stress hormone responses after various exercise intensities were not significantly change in submaximal load, but significantly increased in anaerobic threshold load and maximal load to beta-andorphin, adrenocorticotropin, cortisol, catecholamin. 2. The stress reactions to emotional quotient were similar to change to various exercise intensities to adrenocortocotropic, catecholamin, serotonion et al. The subjects who have been emotional training as transcendence meditation in long time over six months were significantly change to stress hormone reactions. 3. The stress hormone reactions to various exercise were closely associated with levels of emotional training. Therefore, the effects of exercise can comprise those the result of emotional training. Author thought that emotions are a basic component of human exercise contained various euphorias, but exact nature has been elusive and difficult to specify. This is due to a number of causes, including the fact that so many systems of the body are involved in emotion. A second problem has been the tendency to separate emotion from cognition or rational thought processes. The physiological and psychological processes involved in emotion are, however, most likely interrelated.

The purpose of the present study was to determine the correlation of Estimated Maximal Oxygen Uptake(m/kg/min) by 15-min. ecdurance run performance(m) and Body Composition in 26 college Men. Max Vo₂ was measured using the 15-min Run test(mean=standard deviation: 221.4±5.35 ml/kg/min). Body density(mean=1.061 g/cc) and Percent body fat(mean=16.55%) were also determined in 26 men(19-26years) from underwater weighing measurements. A significant correlation of r=0.77 was obtained between the estimated max Vo₂(ml/kg/min) and body density (g/cc) as p<0.01, Max Vo₂ correlated r=-0.65 with the body fat(%) as p<0.01 and r=-0.39 with the sum of three skinfolds as p<0.05. Distance run scores correlated r=0.67 with the body density(g/cc) and r=-0.78 with body fat(%) as p<0.01, but was not corrleated with the sum of skinfold(r=-0.38) as p>0.05. The sum of three skinfolds correlated r=-0.75 with the body density(g/cc) and r=0.74 with body fat(%) as p<0.01. It may be that maximal oxygen uptake(ml/kg/min) correlates closely body density(g/cc).

The purpose of this study was to examine of structural relationships among elementary school students’ sports participation level, family strength, social support, and subjective happiness. For this study, a total 341 students were recruited. The data collected through this survey were conducted exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and structure equation model by using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 programs. As a result, it was indicated that there is a negative(-) relationship between sports participation level and family strength. A positive(+) relationship among family strength, social support, and subjective happiness was also indicated. Sports participation has proven to increase happiness and social support from the student's family. Therefore, synergies and complimentary relationships exist between family health and social support, which positively affects the subjective feelings of happiness.
