CHO-KI 細胞의 Lysophospholipase 活性에 關한 硏究
張玹勖 영남대학교 자원문제연구소 1991 資源問題硏究 Vol.10 No.-
Lysophospholipase (E.C. 3.1.1.5) are widely distributed in prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells and are hypothesized to have an appreciable role in the metabolism of phospholipids by degrading potentially cytotoxic lysophospholipids generated by the action of phospholipase A₁/A₂. In the present study, lysophospholipase L₁(A₁) and lysophospholipase L₂(A₂) activities in chinese hamster ovary cell subclone(CHO-KI) that hydrolyze 1-acyl-lyso PC, 1-acyl-lyso PE, and 2-acyl-lyso PE were dectected and chracterized. These two enzymes were membrane associated enzymes and did not require Ca2+ ion for optimal activity. Lysophospholipase L₁show optimum pH 7.0, and lysophospholipase L₂ show broad optimum pH 6-9. These two enzymes were completely inhibited by -SH reagent, p-chloromercuriebenzoic acid (PCMB)and serine protease inhibitor, diisopropylfluorophosphate (DFP) and ionic and nonionic detergents. Substrate specificity of these two enzymes using 1-[14C] LPE, 1-[14C] LPC as substrate for lysophospholipase L₁, and 2-[14C] LPE, 1-[14C] LPC as substrate for lysophospholipase L₁, and 2-[14C] LPE, 1-[14C] LPC as substrate for lysophospholipase L₂, these two enzymes more preferentially hydrolyzed lyso PE than lyso PC. Lysophospholipase L₁ has transacylase activity. Abbreviation : EDTA, ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid Lyso PA, lysophosphatidic acid Lyso PS, lysophosphatidylserine PC, phosphatidylcholine PE , phosphatidylethanolamine Lyso PC, lysophosphatidylcholine Lyso PE , lysophosphatidylethanolamine

Cysts of thoracic duct are uncommon. The most commonly involved site is the thoracic segment of the thoracic duct followedby the abdominal and cervical segments of the thoracic duct. To date, about 15 cases of cervical thoracic duct cysts have beendescribed in the literature. Information regarding the natural history of these cysts and their pathogenesis is limited. The primarysymptom and sign are generally a palpable soft left supraclavicular swelling. We report a case of cervical thoracic duct cyst witha review of literature. Objectives. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a disorder characterized by repetitive partial or complete occlusion of the up- per airway during sleep that affects quality of life. The aim of this study was to develop the Korean version of the sleep apnea quality of life index (K-SAQLI) and apply it in Korean patients with OSA. Methods. Ninety-three patients with OSA completed the K-SAQLI. Its construct validity and responsiveness were tested by comparing the baseline and change scores obtained in each domain (i.e., daily functioning, social interactions, emotional functioning, and symptoms) using the medical outcome survey-short form 36 (SF-36). Results. The Cronbach α coefficients of internal reliability exceeded 0.60 in all the domains (daily functioning, 0.89; social interactions, 0.88; emotional functioning, 0.92; symptoms, 0.67; and total, 0.94). The K-SAQLI had a high test-retest correlation coefficient of 0.73 in the 20 randomized selected patients. The construct validity was confirmed by signifi- cant correlations with SF-36 subscale scores. Conclusion. The results of this study demonstrate that the K-SAQLI may be applicable for clinical purposes.

Background In light of increasing demands for the use of a shorter incision during implant-based reconstructive surgery due to a paradigm shift to short-incision mastectomy and prior radiotherapy, as well as concerns about breast implant contamination, the use of funnels during implantation is recommended. We aimed to describe our preliminary experiences with funnel-assisted implant insertion and to determine the indications for funnel usage in reconstructive breast surgery. Methods A series of 15 consecutive patients who underwent funnel-assisted implant insertions between March 2018 and January 2019 were included. Funnel-assisted implantation was indicated in patients with a small linear scar (<5 cm) at the mastectomy site and those who previously underwent chest radiotherapy before implant insertion. Results Eight patients (53.3%) previously received radiotherapy, while seven (46.6%) underwent total mastectomy using a short incision. In all mastectomy patients, the mean incision length was 4.73 cm (range, 4.5–5.5 cm), while that of patients who previously received radiotherapy was 4.62 cm. The patients did not develop wound-related complications (e.g., major and minor skin necrosis). At 6- and 12-month follow-ups, no patients showed definite capsular contracture (Baker grade III and IV). Conclusions The study confirmed that the use of a highly durable and elastic funnel enabled reconstructive surgeons to perform “no touch” implantation using a short incision. This technique is beneficial for patients who previously received radiotherapy and reduces the risk of wound-related complications through the use of a shorter skin incision
