Nowadays, more attention is paid to the development of high efficiency electrical machines for energy saving and the protection of natural resources. This paper presents a study on loss of permanent magnet(PM) brushless motors that is focused on driving method of two surface-mounted PM motors: the first with brushless-DC(BLDC) motor and the other with brushless-AC(BLAC) motor. This paper also deals with a computation method of copper loss, core loss and eddy current loss of rotor for a compressor. These machines have the same stator core and magnet on the rotor volume and the same winding distribution on the stator with fractional slot windings. Finally, the presented method in this paper has been verified by finite element method(FEM).

This study aimed to develop appropriate temperature management practices and provide scientific evidence to support the development of sell-by-date guidance for eggs. Washed and unwashed eggs were subjected to storage under six different scenarios, and both types of eggs were stored at temperatures up to 35℃ to evaluate the sell-by-date. Despite temperature fluctuations or continuous storage at 30℃ for 5 days, subsequent storage at 10℃ resulted in significantly higher Haugh unit and yolk index on day 15. These results indicate that refrigerating eggs from retail sales until consumption is effective for egg quality management, despite the exposure of up to 35℃ during distribution. In terms of sell-by-date evaluation, washed eggs retained class B quality for an additional 37 days beyond the recommended sell-by-date at 15℃, which is above the regulated storage temperature. However, unwashed eggs maintained class B quality for approximately 20 days at 30℃–35℃, emphasizing the need for sell-by-date guidelines for unwashed eggs. This study is the first to provide appropriate egg-handling practices based on the actual distribution environment in Korea.
DOA 가소제를 함유한 추진제의 라이너 가소제 종류에 따른 물성 변화에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 DOA 를 함유한 추진제가 다양한 가소제를 함유한 라이너와 접착하여 경화되었을 때 추진제의 물성 변화를 확인하였다. 그 과정에서 추진제 내의 가소제인 DOA 의 migration 효과에 의하여 추진제, 라이너 특성이 크게 변화하는 것을 실험을 통해 확인하였다. IDP 가소제를 함유한 라이너와 추진제의 접착력은 DOA 혹은 DOA 와 화학구조가 비슷한 DOS 를 함유한 라이너와 추진제 사이의 접착력에 비해 크게 떨어졌다. 또한 IDP 가소제를 함유한 라이너가 적용된 추진제의 물성은 그렇지 않은 추진제에 비하여 모듈러스, 인장강도 값이 크고 연신율 성능은 떨어졌다.
호흡기 상피세포에서 MUC5AC와 MUC5B 발현에 대한 다중벽 탄소나노튜브의 효과

Background and Objectives Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) are one of the most commonly used nanomaterials to date. Recent studies have demonstrated that MWCNT increase immune response and allergic inflammation in airway epithelial cells. However, the effects of MWCNT on mucin in human airway epithelial cells have not been reported. Therefore, in the present study, the effect of MWCNT on MUC16, MUC5AC, and MUC5B expressions were investigated in human airway epithelial cells. Subjects and Method In mucin-producing human NCI-H292 airway epithelial cells and primary cultures of normal nasal epithelial cells, the effects of MWCNT on MUC16, MUC5AC, and MUC5B expression were analyzed by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction, real-time polymerase chain reaction, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results In human NCI-H292 airway epithelial cells, MWCNT significantly induced the expression MUC5AC and MUC5B mRNA and the production of MUC5AC and MUC5B protein. However, MWCNT did not induce the expression of MUC16 mRNA. In the primary cultures of normal nasal epithelial cells, MWCNT also induced the expression of MUC5AC and MUC5B mRNA and the production of MUC5AC and MUC5B proteins. Conclusion The results of this study demonstrate that MWCNT induces MUC5AC and MUC5B expression in human airway epithelial cells. These findings provide important information about the biological role of MWCNT on mucus-secretion in human airway epithelial cells.
관성측정장치를 이용한 요추 가동범위 측정방법의 반복성 및 검사자 내 검사-재검사 신뢰도 연구

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to estimate the test-retest reliability and the intratest repeatability in measuring the lumbar range of motion of healthy volunteers with wireless microelectromechanical system inertial measurement unit(MEMS-IMU) system and to discuss the feasibility of this system in the clinical setting to evaluate the lumbar spine movement. Methods : 19 healthy male volunteers were participated, who got under 21 points at oswestry disability index(ODI) were adopted. Their lumbar motion were measured with IMU twice in consecutive an hour for the test-retest reliability study. Intratest repeatability was calculated in the two tests separately. The calculated intraclass correlation coefficients(ICC) were discussed and compared with the those of the previous studies. Results : Lumbar range of motion of flexion 41.45°, extension 16.34°, right lateral bending 16.41° left lateral bending 13.63° right rotation -2.47°, left rotation -0.61°. ICCs were 0.96∼1.00(intratest repeatability) and 0.61∼0.92(test-retest reliability). Conclusion : This study shows that MEMS-IMU system demonstrates a high test-retest reliability and intratest repeatability by calculated intraclass correlation coefficients. The results of this study represents that wireless inertial sensor measurement system has portable and economical efficiency. By MEMS-IMU system, we can measures lumbar range of motion and analyze lumbar motion effectively.
트램펄린 운동참여가 중년 비만 여성의 유산소능력 및 비만관련 인자에 미치는 효과

이 연구의 목적은 비만 중년 여성을 대상으로 12주간 트램펄린 운동을 실시한 결과 신체구성과 혈중 지질 등 비만 관련 요인과 유산소능력 변화를 확인하는 것이다. 연구 대상자는 25명으로, 그룹은 트램펄린 운동잡단 12명, 통제집단 13명으로 구성하였으며, 자료처리는 SPSS 21.0 ver.을 사용하다. 그룹 간 비교는 독립t-검정을, 그룹 내 비교는 대응t-검정을 실시하였다. 첫째, 신체구성 변화에서 운동집단은 체중, 체지방률, BMI 비교에서 통계적으로 유의한 감소를 보였으며, 사후 비교에서도 운동집단이 유의한 감소를 보였다. 둘째, 혈중지질 변화는 운동집단에서 TG, LDH-C, HDL-C에서 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 사후 비교에서는 운동집단에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 사후 비교에서는 TC가 운동집단에서 통계적으로 유의한 감소를 보였습니다. 셋째, 유산소능력의 변화는 운동집단이 70%VO2max와 70%HRmax에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 사후 비교에서도 운동집단이 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 따라서 트램펄린 운동은 중년 비만 여성의 유산소 능력과 신체구성, 혈중 지질 등 비만 관련 요인에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 판단된다. The purpose of this study is to check obesity-related factors such as body composition and blood lipids and changes in aerobic ability as a result of conducting trampoline exercise for 12 weeks on obese middle-aged women. The group consisted of 25 subjects, 12 trampoline exercise workers and 13 control groups, and data processing uses SPSS 21.0 ver. Independent t-test was performed for comparison between groups, and corresponding t-test was performed for comparison between groups. First, in the body composition change, the exercise group showed a statistically significant decrease in body weight, body fat percentage, and BMI comparison, and the exercise group also showed a significant decrease in post-mortem comparison. Second, blood lipid changes were significantly different in TG, LDH-C, and HDL-C in the exercise group, and statistically significant in the post-mortem comparison. Post-mortem comparisons showed a statistically significant decrease in TC in the exercise group. Third, the change in aerobic capacity was statistically significant in the exercise group at 70% VO2max and 70% HRmax, and the exercise group also showed a statistically significant difference in post-mortem comparison. Therefore, trampoline exercise is judged to have a positive effect on obesity-related factors such as aerobic ability, body composition, and blood lipids of middle-aged obese women.
