        특허 텍스트마이닝을 활용한 바이오 연료 기술 모니터링

        Bio-fuel is a renewable energy which is attracting great attention owing to its environment-friendliness and usability, as environmental pollution makes efforts for renewable energy expand globally. Compared to the great interest in bio-fuel technology, however, few or no quantified analyses to identify this technology’s sub-technologies and monitor their evolving trends have been conducted by previous studies. Therefore, this study analyzes evolving trends and characteristics of bio-fuel technology’s sub-technologies based on patent data. The analysis process of this study is organized as follows: 1) patents related to bio-fuel technology are collected and keywords are then extracted from the text of the patents, 2) Topic modeling technique with the keywords is applied to patent documents to identify sub-technologies constituting bio-fuel technology, 3) trends by topic co-occurrence networks with respect to the sub-technologies are visualized and examined, and 4) information entropy analysis is applied to identify the connection strength, diversity and future promise of the sub-technologies. Through this study, evolving trends of bio-fuel technology can be identified and the interrelationship among its sub-technologies can be analyzed. The results of this study can be used for companies and researchers to understand the changing process in bio-fuel technology field and thereby to determine further research directions. 심각한 환경오염의 위험으로 인해 전 세계적으로 신재생 에너지 확충 노력이 지속되고 있는 가운데, 바이오 연료는 친환경성과 활용성 측면에서의장점으로 큰 각광을 받고 있는 신재생 에너지이다. 바이오 연료에 대한 큰관심에 비해, 바이오 연료의 세부 기술에 대한 정의와 이를 통한 기술 모니터링에 대한 계량분석연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 바이오 연료에 관한 특허 자료를 바탕으로 세부 기술들의 동향 및 특성을 분석한다. 본 연구의 분석 과정은 1) 바이오 연료와 관련된 특허 전문을 수집하여 바이오 연료 세부 기술과 관련된 키워드를 추출한 뒤, 2) 특허 문서와 키워드 집합을 기반으로 토픽모델링 기법을 실시하여 바이오 연료의 세부 기술을 정의하고, 3) 정의된 세부 기술의 전반적 동향을 살펴보기 위하여 각 세부 기술의 연도구간별 동시 출현 네트워크를 구축하여 기술 동향을 분석한 후, 4) 정보 엔트로피 분석을 통하여 각 세부 기술의 연결강도 및 다양성을 살펴본다. 본 분석과정을 통하여 바이오 연료의 세부 기술을 파악하고 기술 간 상호관계 및 변화 추세를 확인하였다. 분석결과로는 바이오 연료의 원천 기술이 개발된 후 유전공학 분야를 응용하여 발전하였으며, 향후 미세조류와 관련된기술 개발이 지속될 것으로 전망된다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 향후 바이오 에너지 분야의 기업들과 연구자들이 기술의 변화과정을 파악하고 그에 따른기술개발의 방향을 설정하는 데 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

      • Development of high-reliability multi-bio authentication system for strong security authentication

        Recently, with the development of IT technology, interest in technology using bio-signals is increasing, and biometric authentication technology using a part of the human body or behavioral characteristics are widely used in communication, automobile, security, medical care, corporate marketing, and public fields. However, as the importance of security increases, the awareness of security is being reevaluated, and there are security problems against the vulnerability of attacks on information transmitted in all transactions and forgery and falsification of existing biometric authentication. Accordingly, recently, research on a method for authenticating a user using two or more different authentication factors has been actively conducted. In this study, we propose to develop a multi-bio authentication system that guarantees increased convenience and high reliability through the development of a security-strong system with bio-signal-based next-generation bio-authentication.

        생명과학기술, 생명윤리, 그리고 생태학적 관점의 관계 고찰 - 로이스 로리의 『더 기버』를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between bio-technology and bio-ethics through ecological perspectives and to find examples in literature for the inter-relationships and activating public’s ethical discourse. This study explores complementary relationship between bio-technology and bio-ethics because if our human society ignores bio-technology’s positive fruits due to some faults, it will lack elements of human’s fundamental quality of life as well as the uncertainty of our survival. Therefore, our human society needs various resources to sustain its quality of life through diverse discourses, from different viewpoints such as ethics and literature as well as science-technology. This study tries to explore the relationship between technological effectiveness and biodiversity and to connect them to bio-ethics' possibility based on an ecological perspective. To find the social control's problems of human society, First, this study analyzes biodiversity decreases. Also, it relates biodiversity to the absence of bio-ethic consciousness. With these theoretical basis, this study suggests that Lois Lowry's work, The Giver, exemplifies inter-relationships among bio-technology, bio-ethics, and ecological perspectives. The reason to find this inter-relationship in the literature is that the literary works can easily connect each disciples and interpret each other. In addition, because literature can also have relations with the pubic audience, it can widen some discourses in the public. With this interdisciplinary aspect among bio-tech, bio-ethics, and literature, this study would like to reveal new approaches to a variety of problems in human society, to have some discussion, and to find proper reponses for these problems.

        중등 기술교과 교육과정에서 생명기술의 목표와 내용의 변천

        중등 기술교과 교육과정에서 생명기술의 목표와 내용의 변천 과정을 분석하고 시기별 교육목표와 내용의 관련성을 밝히기 위해 중․고등학교 교과서를 중심으로 한 문헌 연구에 기초하여 연구를 수행하였다. 중등학교 기술교과서에 나타난 생명기술 관련 교육목표와 내용을 분석하여 교육목표와 내용의 변천을 시기별로 조사, 정리, 분석하고 교육목표와 내용의 관련성을 구명함으로써 앞으로 생명 기술 교육목표와 내용이 지향해야 할 방향을 제안하는 방법으로 연구가 진행되었다. 연구 결과 중학교 생명기술의 영역별 교육목표와 내용의 관련성은 비교적 높게 나타났으나, 정의적 영역의 목표와 내용은 3차․4차 교육과정에서 목표를 제시한 것을 제외하고는 전혀 제시되지 못했다. 고등학교 생명기술의 경우 제 4차 교육과정에 기술과목이 산업기술로 변경되면서 기존의 공업 분야의 기술뿐만 아니라 농업, 수산업, 해양 분야의 기술까지 확대하여 교육의 대상영역으로 포함하여 왔으며 현재까지 생명기술을 위한 교육목표가 전혀 제시되고 있지 않다. 이 연구를 바탕으로 중등학교 기술교과에서 생명기술의 목표와 내용은 기술학에 터한 체제적 접근을 통해 목표와 내용 선정이 이루어져야 하며, 일반교육으로서의 생명기술 교육목표와 내용에 대한 후속 연구가 진행되어야 할 것이다. This study is executed based on literature research around the middle school․high school texts in order to analyze the process of transition of bio technology's objectives and contents in technology curriculum at middle school․high school and clarify the relation of educational objectives and contents per each period. This study is proceeded to suggest the direction of educational objectives and contents in the bio technology as surveying, arranging and analyzing educational objectives and the change of contents at each period and investigating the relation of educational objectives and contents based on analyzing educational objectives and contents. As a study's result, it indicates the high relation of educational objectives and contents at each field of the bio technology in the middle school, but never indicate the objective and content on affective area except to present the objective in the 3rd and 4th curriculum. In general, the educational objective of the middle school bio technology attaches great importance to cognitive area and mental-kinetic area, and doesn't indicate the educational objective and content in affective area. In case to the bio technology in the high school, as the technology(subject) changes the industrial technology, it includes to expand the technology of agriculture, fisheries, marines field as well as the existing industry field and never stated the educational objective of bio technology because it had never presented the educational objective for bio technology until now. The objectives and contents in technology of the middle school make the selection of objectives and contents through the systematic approach based on this study, and it'll be proceeded the following studies about the educational objectives and contents as the general education.

        바이오 아트를 통한 무용의 시공간 확장 고찰

        In today’s world technology, which is having a mass influenced in human daily lives. is rapidly growing by combining human and high-tech science and technology with the development of modern science and technology. As such technology entered the 20th century; such influences impacted the arts sector to those artists who accepted scientific approaches to create and expand ways of expressing that further developed into a new arts genre named, bio art, where biological technology is applied to arts. Bio Art is a media that uses biological factors of the human body not only the external information but also the internal data to produce the artwork that represents the idea of trans-humanism appropriately which reflects the current trend of the technological development. Consequently, performing arts can also collaborate with the belief of trans-humanism in order to expand its own expressionism, in detail the space and time expression of the dance to improve more advanced human beings in an immediately changing society. Thus the dance needs to embrace this scientific technology to broaden its own boundaries such like other genres. Therefore, the question of this study is how such bio art can affect the expressions of the performing art, and when it has been applied to the dance how the time and space of the dance expression can be develop further. In order to reach the conclusion of this research question, the study was divided into two different contents; expression of the bio art into artistic thinking, and digital media with biological media that integrate into artistic method. The work of bio art was considered in the perspective of Pavis’ theory of time and space (analyzing performance; theater, dance and film) which was then applied to the time and space of performing art. From this study, it can be concluded that bio art can enhance both the subjective inner time of the dance expression along with the gesture within the space. Therefore, this study investigated how the time and space of the dance broaden in the present era where technology advances in a high speed level. Then, it developed further to transcend human biological limitations by collaborating the artistic expression of bio art and the concept of the time and space of dance in the trans-humanistic contemporary with humanism theme which can provide various different platforms and opportunity for wider expressions of dance

        국내 바이오산업의 지역별 분포특성과 혁신 활동 성과에 관한 연구: 수도권과 비수도권 지역을 중심으로

        The study empirically analyzed the differences in industry distribution and innovation activity performance in the metropolitan and non-metropolitan areas of Korea's bio companies, which are highlighted as future growth engines. The main innovation activities of the bio industry, which are focused on science and technology and expressed with high uncertainty, were analyzed, centering on human resources, technology cooperation, and investment promotion. As a result of the analysis, the biomedical industry in the metropolitan area was found to have a high proportion, and bio foods, bio-based chemicals, and energy industries in the non-metropolitan area, respectively. Moreover, the innovation activity performances differed between the two regions. In particular, the notable characteristics included human resources, investment promotion, and technical cooperation with medical institutions in the metropolitan area with a high proportion of biomedical industries, and technology personnel exchange and cooperation with private research institutions in the non-metropolitan area, which has a high proportion of bio foods, bio-based chemicals, and energy industries. This study is significant in that it is the first study to compare and analyze the performance of innovative activities based on the distribution of industries in the bio-industry, focusing on human resources, technology cooperation, and investment promotion. In addition, after investigating the distribution status and competitiveness of the domestic bio-industry by region, it will analyze the status and characteristics of the domestic bio-industry and present policy implications to implement relevant promotion policy more efficiently.

        A Convergence study on the Nano Technology & Nano Art

        Since the announcement of U.S National Nano technology Initiative (NNI) (2000.1), national comprehensive plans have been established in the world and governmental investment and studies on the convergence of Nano technology and Nano art have been made actively. At present, however, limited convergence is known in Nano technology and art, Nano technology and construction sector in Korea but there are only a few studies on active convergence with Nano technology and Nano art, that is, art, design field yet. Therefore, studies on convergence of Nano technology and Nano art should create new and creative value of the future and an opportunity that can be evolved into a newer type should be provided. The background and purpose of this study were made in this respect and method and scope of the study are as follows: First, we identify the possibility of research on convergence with science of arts, especially Nano art and ripple effect of Nano technology through theoretical review, summary of Nano art and Nano technology. Second, we analyze the cases of studies on a variety of convergence of Nano technology and Nano art through case studies and third we understand the art world and contents of Eduardo Kac, the master of Bio Art and Cris Orfescu, the master of Nano art 21 Project. The findings of this study and the contents are as follows: First, Nano technology has the feature that it can be applied to most original technology fields and plays a key role in the convergence with new technologies such as IT, BT and the effect will be even greater in the future. Second, it means that along with the convergence of science and technology, Nano technology is setting up a base to be applied and used in the cutting-edge industries in the future with solidarity with other various sectors such as architecture, humanities, science of arts, Nano art and especially recent development of 3D printing scanning technology results in the expansion of the scope of the product design and arts fields. Third, as shown in the example of Orfescu’s SEAD(Sciences, Engineering, Arts & Design) White Paper, the activation of production method of Nano art works, online international competition and festival is necessary and active industry-university-institute convergence research of related experts, scientists, artists and designers, nano companies and policy considerations of relevant authorities is needed.

        증권시장 상장이 신약개발 바이오벤처기업의 기술사업화 성과에 미치는 사례연구

        New drug development requires 10 to 15 years of long time and more than $ 1 billion in funding, ranging from basic research→preclinical medicine→clinical medicine→product approval→sales. Many new drug development bio-venture companies will continue to pursue new drug development with funds secured through listing on the securities market. This study focuses on the impact of the listing on the market of bio-venture companies in the development of new drugs. It is necessary to determine whether the increase in registered patent, preclinical, clinical and technology transfer contracts at the time of listing (D) The results of this study are as follows. We also analyzed whether the registered patent, preclinical, and clinical effects had significant effect on technology transfer contracts at two years after listing and listing. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, Korea's new drug development bio-venture firms increased their registered patents but did not increase their pre-clinical, clinical and technology transfer contracts. Second, at the time of listing and two years after listing, pre-employment has a significant effect on Korea's technology transfer contracts and has a significant effect on overseas technology transfer contracts. However, registered patents and clinics have significant influence on technology transfer contracts. Korea 's new drug development bio-venture firms showed patent increase despite the stock market listing, but pre-clinical, clinical and technology transfer contracts did not increase. In order to strengthen technological commercialization of new drug development bio-venture companies in the future, it is required to establish R & D strategy for efficient use of IPO subscription funds, open innovation through strengthening industry-academia-partnerships, and more sophisticated preclinical and clinical strategy establishment. 신약개발은 기초연구→전임상→임상→품목허가→판매에 이르기까지 10~15년의 긴 시간과 10억불 이상의 막대한 자금을 필요로 한다. 많은 신약개발 바이오벤처기업은 증권시장 상장을 통해 확보한 자금으로 신약개발을 지속적으로 추진하고자 한다. 본 연구는 증권시장 상장이 신약개발 바이오벤처기업에 미치는 영향에 주목하여, 상장 시점(D) 및 상장 후 2년 시점(D+2년)에서 등록특허, 전임상, 임상, 기술이전계약의 증가 여부로 증권시장 상장에 의한 신약개발 바이오벤처기업의 기술사업화 성과를 분석하였다. 또한 상장 및 상장 후 2년 시점에서 등록특허, 전임상 및 임상이 기술이전계약에 유의미한 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국의 신약개발 바이오벤처기업은 상장 시점과 상장 후 2년 시점을 비교하면, 등록특허는 증가했으나 전임상, 임상 및 기술이전계약은 증가하지 않았다. 둘째, 상장 시점과 상장 후 2년 시점에 전임상은 한국기술이전계약에 유의한 영향을 주고 있고 해외기술이전계약에 부분적으로 유의한 영향을 주고 있지만, 등록특허 및 임상은 기술이전계약에 유의한 영향을 주지 않았다. 한국의 신약개발 바이오벤처기업은 증권시장 상장에도 불구하고 특허는 증가했지만, 전임상, 임상 및 기술이전계약은 증가하지 못했음을 알 수 있다. 향후 신약개발 바이오벤처기업의 기술사업화를 강화하기 위해서는 IPO 공모자금의 효율적 사용을 위한 R&D전략 수립, 산·학·연 연계 강화를 통한 오픈 이노베이션, 보다 정교한 전임상 및 임상 전략 수립 등이 요청되고 있다.
