오늘날 21세기의 세계화, 국제화, 정보화라는 시대의 흐름속에서 국제 공용어라 할 수 있는 영어의 사용 능력이 개인의 일생을 좌우할 뿐아니라 한 국가의 정치, 경제, 외교 등 모든 분야에 걸쳐 국가 경쟁력을 키우는데 굉장히 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 이러한 인식과 맞물려 조기 영어 교육의 필요성이 확산되고 그 움직임이 활발하다. 본 연구에서는 조기 영어 교육의 이론적 배경을 알아보고, 여러 다양한 교수-학습법 중에서 스토리텔링(storytelling) 기법을 소개하고자 한다. 조기 영어 교육의 대상은 유치원에 다니는 미취학 아동과 정규 과정에서 배우기 전인 초등학교 1,2학년 어린이들로 하였다. 최근에 많은 교사들이 스토리텔링(storytelling)을 영어 학습에 활용하는데에 관심을 가지고 스토리텔링에 관련된 다양한 학습 활동들을 실제 수업에 활용하고 있다. 먼저 스토리텔링의 긍정적인 효과를 최대화하기 위해서 조기 영어 교육의 목표와 특성, 이론적 배경에 관해 조사하였다. 스토리텔링은 이야기책을 사용하여 반복하여 듣고 읽음으로써 어린 아이들이 영어를 자연스럽게 습득하게 하여 영어에 대한 흥미와 자신감을 키워주고 영어를 재미있는 활동으로 인식하게 하는데 도움을 준다. 이야기책이 가지는 장점을 살펴보면 첫째, 이야기는 어린이들의 흥미와 관심을 이끌어 내고, 어린이들은 반복해서 이야기 듣기를 좋아한다. 둘째, 이야기는 어린이들의 상상력과 창의성을 키워준다. 세째, 이야기속에 반복되어지는 단어와 일상 생활에서 사용되는 문장의 구조를 익힘으로써 영어를 자연스럽게 습득하게 된다. 또한 영어의 특징 중의 하나인 라임(rhyme)에 어려서부터 익숙해지게 된다. 네째, 어린이들은 이야기책을 통해 다른 나라의 문화, 과학, 예술, 역사, 문학 등 다양한 분야에 걸친 지식과 정보를 얻는다. 이렇듯 스토리텔링을 통한 영어 학습으로 언어적 발달 뿐 아니라 지적, 정서적 발달도 함께 도모된다. 교사들이 스토리텔링 수업을 하고자 할때 어린이들의 연령과 언어 수준에 맞는 이야기책을 선정하는 것이 매우 중요하며, 어린이들의 인지적, 정의적, 언어적 특성에 맞게 이야기를 개작해야할 필요가 있다. 6세에서 9세의 어린이들을 위해 효과적으로 사용되어질 수 있는 스토리텔링 기법들-제스춰나 얼굴표정, 목소리의 크기 등-을 살펴보았고, 스토리텔링 수업 모형을 실제적이고 유용한 활동들과 연계하여 설계하였다. 어린이들은 이미 알고 있는 내용의 이야기나 교사로부터 들은 이야기에 관련된 다양한 활동들-게임, 노래, 역할극, 드라마, 책만들기 등-에 직접 참여해 봄으로써 학습 효과를 더 높일수 있다. 마지막으로, 어린아이일수록 교사들의 역할이 더 중요하게 강조되어지는데 교사들은 스토리텔링에 대한 철저한 이해와 준비, 연습이 필요하며, 교사들간의 모임을 활성화하여 함께 연구하고, 서로의 경험과 의견, 지식을 나누었으면 한다. 교사들의 열정과 최선의 노력이 조기 영어 교육을 성공으로 이끄는 원동력이 된다고 믿는다. The purpose of this thesis is to examine the effect of storytelling teaching methods used in early English education. Lately, many teachers are interested in storytelling and utilize various activities related to storytelling. In order to maximize the positive effects of storytelling, the characteristics of early English education is presented and its theoretical background is investigated. Chapter 2 presents theoretical background which is fundamental to understanding early English education and storytelling teaching. The definition of storytelling and the value of storybooks are examined. There are many advantages when storybooks are used. First, stories easily induce children's interests and children can enjoy listening to stories again and again. Therefore, stories help children acquire language naturally. Second, stories encourage children's imagination and creativity. Third, children can learn high-frequency vocabulary and repeat sentence structure through stories. In addition, they get accustomed to rhyme which is one of the main characteristics in English. Fourth, children can learn various kinds of information about other countries' culture, sciences, arts, history, literature, etc. These experiences help children's emotional development as well as their linguistic development. In Chapter 3, the standards for selecting storybooks and adapting stories are provided. Some storytelling techniques that can be used effectively in early English education are suggested and the storytelling processes are described. Teachers can encounter some difficulties in integrating storytelling methods as a part of classroom activity. Thus, an instruction model for storytelling is suggested, and practical activities according to pre-storytelling, while-storytelling, and post-storytelling steps are presented. Children can participate in activities related to a story they heard, such as, role-playing, drama, and bookmaking. In Chapter 4, the role of teachers is emphasized and some ideas related to storytelling in early English education are suggested. Teaching English through storytelling gives some burden to teachers. In order to overcome these difficulties, teachers should study and work with each other and share their experiences, opinions and knowledge. Teachers' best efforts and passion can lead to the success of early English education.

어희담의 유형과 변이양상 연구

이 논문은 어희담의 유형과 현대로의 변이양상을 고찰하고자 한다. 어희담은 소담의 하위개념으로 한정된다. 어희담은 언어나 문자의 사용으로부터 생겨나는 재담(才談)으로서 이야기의 내용보다는 언어의 희롱이나 풍월에 더 흥미를 느끼게 하며 그것이 곧 소담적인 성격을 내포하고 있는 이야기이다. 논의한 바를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 1) 어희담을 이루고 있는 기본적인 구성요소는 웃음 유발 대상(인물)과 사건, 방법(어희적 표현)으로 나눌 수 있다. 이 중, '어희적 표현'이라는 요소에 관심의 초점을 맞추고자 하는 것이다. '어희적 표현'이 소담적 성격을 유발할 때 '어희담'류로 정의될 수 있는 것이다. 이 '어희적 표현' 화소를 유형 분류의 준거로 삼는다. 2) 어희담의 유형을 살펴보면 첫째, 곁말형, 둘째, 파자(破字)형, 셋째, 국문식 한시문형, 넷째, 작문형, 다섯째, 수수께끼형, 여섯째, 거짓말형, 일곱째, 기타로는 창씨·작명 유래형, 고사문자형으로 나뉘어진다. 3) 어희담에서 유발되는 웃음은, 웃음을 유발하는 행위(인물)를 수용자가 어떠한 시선으로 바라보는가에 따라 '해학적 웃음'과 '풍자적 웃음'으로 나뉜다. 수용자가 화해나 연민의 시선으로 바라보게 될 때에는 '해학적 웃음'이 유발되고, 비판적이거나 공격적인 시선으로 바라보게 될 때에는 '풍자적 웃음'이 유발된다. 전승어희담에서는 인간과 삶에 대한 긍정적인 시선과 낙천성을 주로 담고 있으며 긴장을 완화시켜 인간관계의 증진을 가져오는 '해학적 웃음'이 주류를 이루고 있으며 (예외적으로 김삿갓으로 알려진 김병연의 육담풍월과 언문풍월 등은 양반 사회의 실상을 야유하고 당대 현실의 허위를 공격함으로서 지배층인 양반계층을 야유하고 있다.), 현대어회담에서는 인간과 사회에 대한 공격적인 요소들을 많이 내포하고 있고 사회 교정의 의미가 강한 '풍자적인 웃음'을 주로 유발하고 있다. 어희담의 웃음형성 구조는 첫째, 이야기가 웃음을 유발하기 위해서는 급작스런 흐름의 변화가 있어야 하며, 이러한 흐름의 변화는 변화의 방향이 어두운 감정을 자극하지 말아야 하며, 긴장감을 조성해야 한가, 둘째, '이중구조'를 가져야 하는데, 하나는 주된 이야기이고 다른 하나는 숨은 이야기의 형태이다. 4) 어희담에 나타난 내적속성을 살펴보면, 첫째, 성의식이 표출되어 있고, 둘째, 재치성이 용해되어 있으며, 셋째, 낙천성이 발현되어 있다. 5) 어희담의 현대적 변이양상을 등장 인물면, 형식면, 의식면에서 살펴봄으로써 어희담의 맥락양상을 고찰해 보았으며, 이러한 변이양상은 시대적 변천에 기인하는 것으로 앞으로도 그 변화는 계속되어 질 것이다. This paper deals with the type of the pun in Korean and how the pun in Korean has changed until now. The pun in Korean is limited as a subordinate part of a funny story. It is a witty talk that conies from the use of words and it makes people interested in a jest of language and a humor by reciting(or using) a poem rather than the story itself. That is the story, which bears the character of a funny story. The results obtained from the study are as follows. 1) The basic elements of the pun in Korean are the person who causes laugh, the event, and the humorous expression. This study focuses on the humorous expression. When it brings about the character of a funny story, it can be defined as the pun in Korean. Humorous expression is the standard of classifying the type. 2) The types of the pun in Korean are as the following; First, Gyot-mal type, which is the pun by using a homonym, Second, Pa-ja type, which is the pun by separating and putting together Chinese character. Third, Chinese poems type, which uses the Korean translating way. Fourth, compositions type. Fifth, riddle type. Sixth, lie type. Seventh, episode about the origin of giving family and personal names or the pun by using Chinese idiomatic phrases etc. 3) The necessary factors to arouse laugh are as the following; First, there should be a sudden reverse in the story. Second, there should be a dual structure; one is the external story and the other is the internal story. 4) The mental characteristics of the pun in Korean are as the following; First, sexual concept is expressed. Second, wit is melted. Third, optimism is revealed. 5) This study footed into how the pun in Korean has been changed until now and the process of changes in aspect of characters, form, mental characteristic. The aspect of changing is caused by the time and it will be continue.

消音器의 音響減衰에 關한 硏究

In order to investigate the acoustical attenuation effects from simple expansion chamber type muffler the following experiments were carried out ; the spectrum analyzer which has 25 Hz analyzing frequency intervals was devised. The changing of acoustical attenuation effects were observed by varying the diameter and the length of the muffler. The diffuser was attached to the muffler in order to decrease the sound pressure levels more and then the acoustical attenuation effects were investigated. The phenomena on the sound wave surface was curvatured and visualized by the diffuser was confirmed in photographic developing of the attenuation wave.
