      • (The) effect of autocorrelated errors on deconvolution

        시간에 따라 음향 임피던스를 해양 혹은 지표에 보내 각 지층에서 반사되어 오는 탄성파를 통해 지하 매질에 자원이 있는지를 탐사하는 탄성파 탐사의 주요 목적 중에 하나는 반사되어 온 탄성파 중에서 뚜렷하게 차이가 있는 지층의 위치를 찾아내는 것이다. 되돌아온 탄성파는 각 지층의 반사계수(reflectivity)와 웨이블릿(wavelet)이 콘볼루션된 트레이스(trace)로 관측된다. 관측된 트레이스에서 반사 계수와 웨이블릿을 역추정하는 방법을 디콘볼루션 이라고 한다. 이 방법들은 지질학에서 널리 활용되고 있다. 본 논문은 가장 간단한 디콘볼루션 모형 하에서 반사계수, 웨이블릿, 트레이스 각 신호에 오차들을 가했을 때 반사계수의 추정 효율이 어떻게 되는지를 모의실험을 통해 검증한 선행 연구(신성혜, 2004)에 이어 가해진 오차가 자기 상관이 있을 경우로 확장하여 연구하였다. 앞서 연구한 논문에서는 오차들이 독립이라고 가정하였지만 실제 자료들은 시간에 따라 얻어진 시계열자료이므로 오차들이 자기 상관을 가지는 것이 훨씬 더 현실적이다. 따라서 오차의 자기상관계수들을 다르게 하여 잡음을 생성했을 때, 반사 계수의 최대값의 위치를 얼마나 잘 추정하는 지를 모의실험을 통해 살펴보았다. 또한 최대값 주변의 값들이 가지는 평균과 분산을 함께 조사함으로써 최대값이 왜곡되는 경우가 발생하는지를 살펴보았다. A large class of systems studied in scientific and engineering research can be represented by a convolution of the input and the system impulse response. Deconvolution is to separate the input and the system impulse response from observed output signal. In seismology, a seismic trace is often represented as the convolution of a seismic wavelet and the earth's reflectivity. The major goal of seismic deconvolution is to retrieve the earth's reflectivity ,because large reflections may indicate sand layers that are potential hydrocarbon reservoirs. So, we want to know that the estimated reflections by deconvolution have more precision and higher resolution. In a previous study of shin(2004), she conducted a simulation study to show how deconvolution is affected by white noises added to reflectivity, wavelet or trace. However, in many real situations, noises are rarely white noises because the signals are observed along the time. So it is more valid that noises have autocorrelation. In this thesis , we conduct a Monte-Carlo simulation to study how deconvolution is affected by autocorrelated noises affect and how magnitudes of autocorrelation coefficients precision of deconvolution. Moreover, we look into whether the maximum of reflectivities is distorted by extreme errors.

      • JPEG2000 이미지의 원본 증명을 위한 워터마킹에 관한 연구

        네트워크의 발달은 멀티미디어 데이터에 대한 접근성을 편리하게 해주어 디지털 데이터의 수집, 수정, 전송과 같은 편집에 대한 접근을 가능하게 해왔다. 이는 데이터의 불법 복제, 배포와 같은 악의적인 사용 또한 늘어나게 했고 이를 보호하는 기술들도 연구되어지고 있다. 디지털 워터마킹은 이미지 보호 도구 중 한 방법으로 디지털 워터마크라고 불리는 사용자 정보나 비밀 메시지와 같은 정보를 이미지에 삽입하는 기술이다. 디지털 워터마킹 기술은 사용 용도에 따라 크게 강인성(robust) 워터마킹, 연성(fragile) 워터마킹으로 분류 할 수 있다. 강인성 워터마킹은 이미지의 저작권 보호와 소유권을 증명하는 목적으로 사용되며 연성 워터마킹은 이미지의 원본 증명을 위한 목적으로 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 이산 웨이블릿 연산(DWT) 기술을 기반으로 하는 JPEG2000 이미지에 대한 원본 증명이 가능한 연성 워터마킹 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 JPEG2000 이미지에 대해서 해당 블록 정보 뿐 만이 아니라 주변 블록의 정보를 이미지에 삽입하여, 기존 연성 알고리즘의 문제점이라고 지적되었던 collage 공격에도 원본증명이 가능한 알고리즘은 제안한다. The development of the network has facilitated access to the multimedia data, enabling access to editing, and transmission of digital data. It has also increased malicious exploitation, such as illegal copying and distribution of data. The technologies that protect them are also being studied. Digital watermarking is a one method of image forgery detection techniques. Digital watermarking is inserting watermark which is fragile to modification such as owners information of security message in digital image. In this paper, we propose a novel forgery detection method, which is a watermark-based, for authenticating JEPG2000 image integrity in the DWT domain. The proposed method, which aims at 100% detection accuracy for typical forgeries on JPEG2000 files. Proposed method can also detect forgeries by collage attack which is well-known forgery attack. The watermark is generated by collaborating with the neighboring group of blocks and is embedded into the block. Experimental results using various sample images show the superiority of the proposed method exhibiting the negligible visual difference between the original and the watermarked JPEG2000 images.

      • 대학생의 학과만족도, 진로성숙도 및 진로스트레스 조사연구

        This study conducted an analysis of differences by college major and gender in college students' (1) Department Satisfaction(DS), (2) Career Maturity(CM), and (3) Career Stress(CS); and the correlation among the three factors above. The purpose of this research is to understand profoundly the current status of the college students' career matters, to contribute to the development of a suitable career guidance program for college students, and to help college students make the right decisions on their career. The participants in the study were 693 third-year students of "K" University, selected from each college major group using cluster random sampling. The students had a test on the three factors. The test material for DS was a questionnaire designed by Ha Hye-sook(2000). The test material for CM was CMI translated into Korean by Kim Hyun-ok(1989) and revised by Kim Bong-Hwan(1997). The test material for CS was the re-revised version of the test standardized by Kim Dong-jo(2003) and revised by Seo Yu-jin(2007). The responses in the tests were analyzed using SPSS. The result of the research is as follows: (1) Differences by college major and gender in DS, CM and CS Firstly, there are meaningful college major differences in DS, both total DS and all the subclasses. In overall DS and Curriculum Satisfaction, Relation Satisfaction, Engineering ranked the top; and in General Satisfaction and Social Perception Satisfaction, Medical Science and Pharmacy ranked the top. Secondly, there are meaningful gender differences in DS. Male students recorded higher level than female students in both overall DS and all the subclasses. Thirdly, there are meaningful college major differences in CM, both total CM and all the subclasses. In total CM, Involvement, Independence, Compromise, Humanities ranked the top; and in Decisiveness, Education ranked the top; and in Orientation, Medical Science and Pharmacy ranked the top. Fourthly, there are partially meaningful gender differences in CM. In Decisiveness and Orientation, male students recorded higher level than female students; however, the difference is not statistically meaningful. Though in total CM, Independence, Compromise, female students showed the higher level than male students, the difference is not statistically significant, either. But Involvement was the only subclass that showed that female students have a meaningfully higher level than male students. Fifthly, there are meaningful college major differences in CS. In total CS, Medical Science and Pharmacy ranked lower level than Social Science, Engineering, Natural Science, Arts and Athletics. Sixthly, there are meaningful gender differences in CS. In total CS, female students recorded higher level than male students. (2) Correlation among DS, CM and CS Firstly, there is meaningful positive correlation between total DS and total CM. There is overall meaningful positive correlation between DS subclasses and CM subclasses; however, there is partially negative correlation in some subclasses. Secondly, there is meaningful negative correlation between total DS and total CS, and between DS subclasses and CS subclasses. Therefore, as the DS gets higher, the CS gets lower. Thirdly, there is meaningful negative correlation between total CM and total CS, and between CM subclasses and CS subclasses. Therefore, as the CM gets higher, the CS gets lower. In conclusion, there are significant college major and gender differences in college students' DS, CM and CS; and there are meaningful correlation among all the three factors.

Using the web, people sell and buy products, share information, and communicate with each other. In addition, people perform various educational activities using the web. Especially, self-education, which has no limitation in time and space, has been adopted as a new teaching tool by many students. In these days, almost all students are familiar with the internet. It has become one of the most important media in the modern society. In particular, students prefer online lectures over offline lectures, because the former free students from the time and space limitation of the latter. The explosive use of the internet calls for its own improvements, and the web is evolving to provide various new features and technologies. Web 2.0 is representative example of such. It is based on the idea of providing information from the information gathered by the users. This study is aimed at constructing a website in which students not only subscribe to lectures, but also provide educational materials that other students can use. Participating students provide answers to questions they know, provide self-created educational materials, tag opinions to the contents, and so on, hence make the educational site web 2.0 compliant. The educational content provided in this web 2.0 site is limited to the ones for Microsoft PowerPoint 2003. Educational effectiveness the site was analyzed through a user survey.

      • 공력 CFD 해석의 불확정도 추정기법

        In the recent years, Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) is being used extensively as a viable research and engineering tool to study physics of complex flow phenomena and to improve design of engineering equipments. In order to use CFD as an independent engineering tool it is necessary to provide quantitative measures of the uncertainty. Some of recent workshops on drag prediction were intended to check what is the uncertainty in the CFD analysis and to provide a better understanding of CFD analysis to validate and quantify the simulation error. The errors comparison between experimental and CFD simulation data was performed in these previous works. In this study, uncertainty estimation in the CFD calculation of aerodynamic flows were investigated. The uncertainties of modeling and numerical analysis in the CFD prediction were estimated by a Coleman's theory. The numerical solutions are calculated by A-type Standard Uncertainty and Richardson Extrapolation Method. It is shown that quantized uncertainty can be utilized as a measure to indicate error boundaries in validation study.

      • 내재변동성 계산의 수치적 해법

        The factors that determine value of options are price of underlying assets, their exercise prices, risk-free interest rate, remaining period until the time of expiration, and volatility of prices of underlying assets. All the factors can be observed in the market except for volatility. Generally historical volatility which is statistically calculated from the data of past underlying assets is used to the option pricing models. The other way to measure volatility is to put transaction prices of options in current market into the Black-Scholes Formulas, and use the outcome of calculated volatility, which is called implied volatility. Black-Scholes option pricing model is applied on the premise that the price of underlying assets, hypothetically, falls into regular volatility of normal distribution. In the real market data, the implied volatility measured by the market price of option can be different from the actual outcome of implied volatility. In 1973, the Chicago Board of Option Exchange has started there used to be a phenomenon called volatility smile transaction but after the great fall of stock market in 1987, the implied volatility parameterized by exercise price shown on a graph was shaped more of frowning rather than smiling since the curve is downshifted toward the right. In this thesis, by using Black-Scholes option pricing model, numerical methods for implied volatility has been materialized, and each efficiency of the outcomes from the solution were analyzed. Bisection, false position, Newton, and secant methods were used to calculated the volatility of options numerically. Newton method showed the highest in efficiency among those solutions. Furthermore, it was also studied to see on a graph whether the implied volatility according to their exercise price was the smile type or the frown one. As the result, the graph of implied volatility based on the exercise price of call options and put options in KOSPI 200 at the end of November, 2007 was contoured to be rather frown shape which was curved downward toward the right.

        본 연구는 프로젝트 접근법을 활용한 다문화 교육활동이 유아의 인종 편견 감소에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것을 연구 목적으로 하여 다음과 같은 연구 문제를 설정하고 연구를 진행하였다. 1. 프로젝트 접근법을 활용한 다문화 교육활동이 유아의 인종 편견 감소에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 1-1. 프로젝트 접근법을 활용한 다문화 교육활동이 유아의 놀이 상대에 대한 편견 감소에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 1-2. 프로젝트 접근법을 활용한 다문화 교육활동이 유아의 외모에 대한 편견 감소에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 1-3. 프로젝트 접근법을 활용한 다문화 교육활동이 유아의 능력에 대한 편견 감소에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 1-4. 프로젝트 접근법을 활용한 다문화 교육활동이 유아의 계층에 대한 편견 감소에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 1-5. 프로젝트 접근법을 활용한 다문화 교육활동이 유아의 도움을 주는 친구에 대한 편견 감소에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 2. 프로젝트 접근법을 활용한 다문화 교육활동이 유아의 인종 및 타문화에 대한 태도에 어떠한 변화를 보이는가? 이상의 연구문제를 분석하기 위해 연구대상은 서울 관악구에 위치한 유치원의 만 5세 유아를 실험집단과 비교집단으로 구분하여 각 20명을 선정하였다. 인종에 대한 편견을 측정하기 위한 검사 도구는 신현경(2007)의 연구에서 사용된 유아 인종 편견 검사 도구를 사용하였다. 연구기간은 2009년 3월 25일(수) ~ 4월 14일(화)까지 약 3주로 프로젝트 접근법을 활용한 다문화 교육활동을 진행하였다. 연구 결과를 분석하기 위해 i-STATistics 1.0 버전을 이용하여 t 검증으로 통계처리 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 프로젝트 접근법을 활용한 다문화 교육활동을 경험한 유아들은 인종에 대한 편견이 감소하였다. 인종 편견에 대한 하위 영역인 놀이상대, 외모, 능력, 계층, 도움 주는 친구 선택에 대한 편견이 감소하였다. 둘째, 프로젝트 접근법을 활용한 다문화 교육활동을 경험하면서 유아들은 인종과 타문화에 대한 긍정적인 태도를 형성하게 되었다. 따라서 이상의 연구 결과에 비추어 볼 때 유아교육현장에서 유아의 인종에 대한 편견을 감소시키기 위해서 프로젝트 접근법을 활용한 다문화 교육활동을 적절히 활용할 필요가 있겠다. The objective of this study was to investigate what effects multicultural education using project approaches had on children’s racial prejudice reduction. The research questions were as follows. 1. What effects multicultural education using project approaches has on children’s racial prejudice reduction? 1-1. What effects multicultural education using project approaches has on children’s racial prejudice reduction of their playmates? 1-2. What effects multicultural education using project approaches has on children’s racial prejudice reduction of an appearance? 1-3. What effects multicultural education using project approaches has on children’s racial prejudice reduction of their abilities? 1-4. What effects multicultural education using project approaches has on children’s racial prejudice reduction of a social class? 1-5. What effects multicultural education using project approaches has on children’s racial prejudice reduction for children’s to help their friends? 2. What effects does multicultural education using project approaches has on children’s attitude on other races and cultures? The subjects of this research were 5 year-old children in two public kindergartens in Seoul (Experimental group : 20, comparison group : 20). The child-prejudice-test tool which Hyeon Kyeong Shin had developed as an instrument for her research in 2007 was adopted for the research. The process of the research consisted of a pre-test, experimental treatment for 3 weeks, a post-test after experiment, and the analysis of the data using t verification of i-STATistics 1.0. The research results were as follows: First, multicultural education using project approaches reduced children’s racial prejudice (playmates, appearance, abilities, social class, helping their friends). Second, children had more receptive and open-minded attitude toward other races and cultures after participating in the experiment. These research results indicate that multicultural education using project approaches in kindergarten reduces children’s racial prejudice and thus should be adopted in children's education.

        STUDY ON MUSIC TEACHER TRAINING SYSTEM OF THE SECONDARY SCHOOL AND CURRENT STATUS OF TEACHER TRAINING SUPPORT Lee, Jin-hee Major in Music Education Graduate School Education Jeonju University Although various educational reform plans have been suggested for the improvement of teacher's specialty, the improvement of teacher training and appointment procedure is deemed fundamental from among those plans. Many students who have teacher's license and undergo the course for the teaching profession have been ardently attached to licenses without clear visions and goals. Meanwhile, students who seek to be teachers by passing teacher qualification examination suffer from severe competition. Therefore, it is necessary to research and study what actual problems exist in teacher training system and teacher training support. Therefore, this study compares literatures on teacher training system in United States of America, United Kingdom and Japan. Through this comparison, the current problems of music teacher training system in South Korea are examined, focused on teacher training organizations, programs and teacher qualification system. In addition, the current statistics on the teacher training support of secondary schools are analyzed based upon the excerpts of Educational Statistics Services. Based upon this analysis, this study provides analyses on the statistics of teacher appointment and teacher training support and suggestions on problems. The qualification and specialty of teacher are not achieved by teacher training organizations but teaching life. The efforts of teacher training organizations should be the start in imprinting teacher's responsibility on various requirements for the country and society as well as teacher's duties and obligations as a teacher. In this perspective, this study will help researchers to solve the problems of teacher training system of secondary school in South Korea.

      • 그림 동화책 활용 프로그램이 정신지체 아동의 정서지능과 어휘력에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of program using picture storybooks on the emotional intelligence and the vocabulary development of children with intellectual disability. Four children, low grade students of a special primary school and who were also undergoing a treatment, were studied for the purpose. these children were diagnosed as mentally disabled. These children were evaluated through an Intelligence Test before and after participating to the program. The Emotional Intelligence Rating Scale for Preschool Children and The Emotional Recognition Ability test were used as barometer for the test measurement. The 'Korean Received Pronunciation and Vocabulary Test', was used for vocabulary test. Program using picture storybooks as mediation program. The program was set for 10 weeks lessons in total. 10 books were selected related to the program and each book was used for 3 lessons a week. During the 3 lessons each week, the first and second lessons lasted 30 minutes and were focusing on understanding and repeating the book.The third lesson lasted 50minutes for activities using extra materials.The collected information for Emotional Intelligence were analysed by the rate before and after the test and children's behavior and for Vocabulary, rate of increase before and after the test were converted into percentages Therefore the result of the study is shown as below.The first conclusion we come to is that program using picture storybooks shows positive effects on the emotional intelligence of children with intellectual disability . Generally the total score of emotional intelligence's low factors shows increased affection.The total score shows little difference on factors in connection with emotions, cognition and expression of self emotion, cognition and consideration of other's emotion, description of relation with other children and teachers, however the total score shows significant difference on factors such as emotion control and impulse.Secondly, program using picture storybooks shows positive effects on vocabulary development of children with intellectual disability . the children were having difficulty to use some of the composition of vocabulary such as verb, adjective and others, but their vocabulary ability increased significantly during the program. their vocabulary ability went up to average level and development degree by age group were almost close to the level of their peers. Based on these positive effects of program using picture storybooks, such program should be systematical, also in long term studies carried out for children with intellectual disability(with using programs applying their emotions). Experiencing the emotions of others and having diverse experiences will give them the ability to form and maintain harmonious relations with others also develop valuable social skills.
