        1인 가구를 위한 공유 공간 커뮤니티 특성 연구 -베이징 연경리 공유 공간을 중심으로-

        중국에서 독신 청년층이 증가하면서 ‘청년 1인 가구’ 중심으로 형성된 공유 공간 커뮤니티 형태가 새로운 주거 트렌드로 떠오르고 있다. 본 연구는 공유 공간의 커뮤니티 특성을 연구하여 중국 베이징 연경리 공유 공간의 사례분석을 통해 청년 1인 가구가 공유 공간에서 생활하면서 주거에 대한 만족도를 높일 수 있게 하는 동시에 공유 공간의 커뮤니티 분위기를 향상시키기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 연구의 방법은 공유 공간과 커뮤니티의 특성요소를 파악하고 공유 공간 커뮤니티의 특성을 도출하였다. 그 다음 그린스마트 커뮤니티 시범사업의 중국 베이징 연경리 공유 공간을 분석대상으로 선정하여 분석한 결과를 토대로 연경리 공유 공간 커뮤니티의 생활에서의 부족한 점을 발견하고 개선방안을 모색하였다. 분석 결과 연경리는 공유 공간에 대한 기능적인 측면인 기능성과 영역성이 부족하며, 정서적인 측면인 친화성과 휴머니티성이 잘 나타나 있었다. 이는 현재 중국 공유 공간에서는 공간 친화력과 서비스를 지속적으로 향상시키는 데 초점을 맞추고 있기 때문에 공유 공간 커뮤니티의 기능적인 면인 기능성과 영역성에 대해서는 중요하게 여겨지지 않다. 따라서 공유 공간 기술과 서비스를 보장하면서 서로 다른 디자인 방식을 통해 공유 공간의 잠재적 커뮤니티 속성과 다변화적 기능을 탐색하고 공유 공간과 시설에 대한 세부적인 커뮤니티 분위기를 조성하여 공유 공간 커뮤니티의 기능성과 영역성을 구현할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 이러한 연구결과는 코로나19 이후 주거 패러다임의 변화로 공유 공간에서의 커뮤니티 분위기에 대한 수요가 많아진 상황에서 청년 1인 가구의 요구를 맞춰줄 수 있을 것이다. 또한 개발도상국의 공유 공간과 커뮤니티 생활에서의 개선을 위한 기초자료가 되어 공유 공간 커뮤니티 특성에 대한 연구에 참고가 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. Shared space communities centered on the model of young one-person families are becoming a new trend in living with the growing number of single youths in China. Taking the Yanjingli shared space in Beijing, China as an example, this study aims to analyze the community characteristics of the shared space, to improve the satisfaction of young one-person families living in the shared space, and to improve the community atmosphere of the shared space. The research methodology of this study is to firstly grasp the elements of shared space and community characteristics, and derive the characteristics of shared space community. Secondly, this study selected Yanjingli shared space in Beijing, China, which is a demonstration project of green smart community, as the object of analysis, and analyzed the characteristics of Yanjingli shared space community based on the analysis framework. Finally, based on the results of the analysis, deficiencies in the current Yanjingli shared space community life are identified and suggestions for improvement are made. The results of the analysis show that Yanjingli lacks functionality and domainality in terms of shared spaces, but is very friendly and humane in terms of emotions. This proves that Chinese shared spaces currently focus on continuously improving the intimacy and service of the space, and therefore do not pay much attention to the functional functionality and domainality of the shared space community, and this part must be improved. The improvement method is to explore the potential community attributes and diversified functions of shared spaces through different design approaches while safeguarding the technology and services of shared spaces, and to create a detailed community atmosphere of shared spaces and facilities to realize the functionality and domain of shared space communities. The results of such a study can meet the requirements of young one-person families in the era of new coronavirus due to the change of living patterns and the increased demand for community atmosphere in shared spaces. In addition, this study is expected to be a reference for studying the characteristics of shared space communities as a basic information for improving shared spaces and community life in developing countries.

        국립부설학교 학교공간혁신사업의 사업신청서 분석을 통한 공간개선요구 특성에 관한 연구

        Existing school facilities becomes unsuitable for the future education environment with the advent of the 4th industrial revolution. In order to overcome these problems, the school space innovation project based on user participation design has prevailed since 2019. This study aims to analyze the project application of 13 national affiliated schools and analyze the users requirements for the school space innovation project to understand the problems of the current school space and the types and characteristics of the improvement requirements. This study has finally discovered that the need for school space innovation was raised due to the limitation of the learning space that is not suitable for the changed curriculum, and space restructuring is an urgent task to solve the problems of lack of learning space, reduced space utilization, and uniform space. was understood as fter the improvement, the ratio of area to users required space showed a different trend depending on the teaching method in elementary, middle, and high schools. The increase or decrease of a specific space when changing the use of a room showed a change in the demand for space according to the change of the educational environment. As a result of analyzing detailed user requirements, restructuring of space, improvement of facilities, and improvement of functions for each space were required in a complex manner. Therefore the direction of school space innovation should be restructured to fit the educational environment of the 4th industrial age and converted into a comprehensive design system that considers all environments and functions.

        농어촌주택개량사업을 통한 강릉시 농촌 주거 공간 조사 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 농촌주택개량사업의 결과물인 주거공간의 특성을 도출하는 것이며 지속해서 추진하는 농촌 주거환경개선 사업 자료의 축적 및 농촌주택의 건축계획 시 고려할 수 있는 계획의 기초자료로 사용하고자 한다. 연구대상은 2021년 강릉시 농촌주택개량사업으로 정부에서 지원하는 대출금을 지원받아 주택을 신축하거나 리모델링한 15가구를 대상으로 하였다. 연구의 방법은 대상 주거의 실태 및 면담 조사를 시행하였다. 분석 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫 번째, 주택 주변의 환경은 대부분 농지를 중심으로 계획되어 있는 특징이 나타났다. 그리고 대지의 특징은 자연환경이 수려한 장점은 있지만, 접근이 어렵고 주변에 근린생활시설이 없으므로 다음에는 단지 조성을 통해 생활편의 시설에 대한 계획이 필요하다. 두 번째, 외부공간은 마당, 작업공간인 텃밭, 주차장, 옥외 데크로 구성되어 있었다. 그러나 농촌주택의 특성상 작업공간과 연계가 되어질 수 있는 데크는 거실과 연계가 대부분이므로 외부공간의 활성화를 위해 다용도실과 같은 서비스 공간과 연계가 될 수 있는 외부공간의 계획이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 세 번째, 주거는 방, 거실, 주방, 화장실, 확장형 발코니, 옥외 데크로 구성되어 있었다. 하지만 지역 지구의 건폐율의 한계로 인해 내부공간을 좀 더 거주자의 개성에 맞게 계획하는 방안이 모색되어야 한다고 생각된다. 네 번째, 농어촌 주택사업의 행정절차는 어렵지 않으나 신청할 장소나 방법이 한정적이기 때문에 불편함이 초래되어 신청 방법에 대한 개선이 필요하다. 다섯 번째, 농촌에 거주하는 무주택자에 대한 지원사업이라 본인의 주거공간을 적극적으로 참여하여 계획하기 때문에 공간에 대한 만족도는 높게 도출된 특징이 나타났다. 하지만 신청 완료 후 건축설계 및 시공 전문가 섭외가 어려워 협력업체 지원 개선점이 필요한 것으로 도출되었다. The aim of this study is to show the characteristics of the residential space that is the result of the rural housing improvement project. This study intends to accumulate data on the continuously promoted rural residential environment improvement project and use it as a basic data for planning that can be considered when planning the construction of rural houses. The subjects of this study were 15 housing that newly built or remodeled houses with loans supported by the government as a rural housing improvement project in Gangneung City in 2021. For the method of the study, the actual condition of the target housing and interview were conducted. The analysis results are summarized as follows. First, most of the environment around the house was designed around farmland. And although the characteristic of the site is that it has a beautiful natural environment, it is difficult to access and there are no nearby living facilities. Second, the external space consisted of a yard, a vegetable garden, a work space, a parking lot, and an outdoor deck. However, due to the characteristics of rural houses, most decks that can be linked to the work space are linked to the living room, so it is necessary to plan an external space that can be linked with a service space such as a multi-purpose room to revitalize the external space. Third, the residence consisted of a room, living room, kitchen, bathroom, extended balcony and outdoor deck. However, due to the limitation of the building-to-land ratio, the interior space plan must be tailored to the individuality of the occupants. Fourth, the administrative procedures for rural housing projects are not difficult, but since the places and methods to apply are limited, the application method needs to be improved. Fifth, as it is a support project for the homeless living in rural areas, the satisfaction with the space was found to be high because it was planned by actively participating in their own residential space. However, it was determined that it was a need to improve the support of subcontractors because it was difficult to recruit experts in architectural design and construction.

        노인요양공동생활가정의 공간 개선방안에 대한 연구- 강릉시 노인요양공동생활가정의 실태 및 면담조사를 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study is to draw improvement plan of elderly group homes in Gangneung City and the results are as follows. The space structure of elderly group homes is classified into the entrance space such as door, living space including bedroom, living room, and kitchen, hygiene space, moving space, and maintenance as well as service spaces. The improvement measures for space structure are as follows. First, the door among entrance areas must secure wheel-chair available space and storages. Second, the bedroom among living spaces needs a bathroom in the space, and the living room should be related to programs and other regional connection. Third, the bathrooms and laundry rooms, which are hygiene spaces, should be separated and have dressing rooms. Fourth, the halls, moving spaces, should be short with rest spaces. Fifth, the janitor's offices among maintenance and service spaces need rest space and a medical room for employees. The improvement measures for interior environment elements are as follows. Interior space elements should include finishing materials, colors, lighting plans, as well as personal cabinets considering characteristics of the elderly. In addition, the regional connection takes roles in linking elderly group homes and local areas with government policies, systems, regional exchange programs, as well as spatial plans for them. 본 연구의 목적은 강릉시 노인공동생활가정시설의 실태 및 면담조사를 통해 공간의 개선방안을 도출하는 것이며 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 노인공동생활가정의 공간구성은 현관 등과 같은 진입공간, 침실, 거실, 주방과 같은 생활공간, 위생공간, 이동공간, 관리 및 서비스공간으로 분류된다. 공간구성에 대한 개선방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진입공간 중 현관은 휠체어 유효공간 및 수납공간을 확보하도록 한다. 둘째, 생활공간 중 침실은 내부에 화장실 계획이 필요하며, 거실은 프로그램 및 기타 지역연계와 관련된 공간을 고려하도록 한다. 셋째, 위생공간인 화장실, 욕실, 세탁실은 분리 설치하도록 하며 탈의실 계획을 고려하도록 한다. 넷째, 이동공간인 복도는 동선이 길지 않게 계획하며 휴식공간을 배려하도록 한다. 다섯째, 관리 및 서비스 공간 중 관리실은 직원을 위한 휴게공간, 의무실의 설치가 필요하다. 실내공간요소의 개선방안으로는 노인들의 특성을 고려한 마감재, 색채, 조명계획 및 개인적 수납가구 계획이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 지역연계에 대한 개선방안은 노인공동생활가정과 지역연계를 위해서는 정부의 제도, 정책 및 지역교류 프로그램 또한 그에 필요한 공간계획이 필요한 것으로 도출되었다.

        경로당시설의 공간 개선방안에 대한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to provide spae improvement plan of senior citizen center throughproblems of space organization and interior design elements of senior citizen center in ruralareas. Scope of the study is new Gangneung senior citizen centers and also methodologyof the study is the fact-finding study and the interviews of its users. The study results are asfollows : Firstly, new senior citizen center is composed of entrance space, living room, kitchen,living space, sanitary space, and miscellaneous space. And also interior design elements arecomposed of furnitures, finishing materials, colors, lightings, doors and windows, signboards. Secondly, detailed improvement plans of space composition and elements are as follows. Enough space should be considered for the vicinity of the main entrance and the front dooramong entrance space. The function of common workplace should be considered for the livingroom and the grandfather’s room and the grandmother’s room should be more detailedlyplanned considering age. In addition, the kitchen needs more space according to its functionsand should be installed closer to the living room and rooms. Rest rooms of sanitary spaceshould be planned according to the area and the number of facilities to the number of personsto be accommodated. The office of miscellaneous space should be independently installedand the warehouse and the utility room should be planned considered the comprehensivesurface area. The interior elements such as finishing materials and colors should be plannedconsidering the characteristics of the elderly. In addition, signboards should be plannedconsidering a variety of lighting methods, storage furniture, and the legibility. 본 연구의 목적은 농촌지역의 경로당 시설의 공간구성 및 실내요소에 대한 문제점을 도출하여 전반적인 공간 개선방안을 마련하고자 하는 것이다. 연구의 범위는 강릉시 경로당 신축사업에 해당되는 시설이며, 연구의 방법은실태 및 면담조사를 실시하였으며 연구내용은 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 경로당 신규시설 공간 구성은 진입 공간, 거실, 주방, 생활공간, 위생 공간, 기타공간으로 분류되며 실내디자인요소는 가구, 마감재료, 색채, 조명, 문창, 사인으로 구성된다. 공간구성 및 요소에 대한 개선방향은 다음의 내용과 같다. 진입 공간 중 주출입구 근처 및현관은 노인시설의 특성을 고려하여 면적 확보가 되도록 고려한다. 생활공간 중 거실은 공동작업장의 기능을 고려하며, 할머니방, 할아버지방은 분리를 원칙으로 하며 다양한 연령대를 위한 계획이 되도록 한다. 또한 주방은거실 및 방에 인접하여 설치하도록 한다. 위생공간인 화장실은 수용인원 대비 면적 및 시설물의 수에 맞게 계획하도록 한다. 기타공간인 사무실은 독립적인 공간으로 설치하도록 하며, 창고 및 다용도실은 전반적인 공간의 면적대비를 고려한 계획으로 한다. 실내 요소 디자인으로는 노인들의 특성을 고려한 마감재 및 색상계획을 계획하도록 한다. 또한 다양한 조명방식, 수납가구, 명시성을 고려한 사인물 계획을 고려하도록 한다.

        도시공원 바닥포장의 디자인 개선에 관한 연구

        도시가 발전하면서 사람들은 삶에 있어 정신적, 문화적 욕구의 충족에 더 많은 관심을 가지게 된다. 도시환경을 개선하고자 하는 요구는 과거에 비해 더욱 심화되었다. 조경 분야에서 외부 환경의 물리적 요소는 이러한 요구에 부응하는데 있어 중요한 역할을 한다. 일반적으로 외부 공간을 형성하는 주요한 골격은 토지, 식물, 정형적 요소 등이다. 도시생활에서 이용자가 향유하는 공간으로는 주로 자연이 우세한 자연적 공간, 인공적 요소가 가미된 자연적 공간, 인공성이 주가 되는 자연적 공간 등이 있다. 이러한 공간은 사람들이 자연과 접하며 휴식하고 만나고 담소를 나누는 장소가 된다. 외부 공간은 실용적인 기능뿐만이 아니라 시각적인 아름다움도 지녀야 한다. 최근 들어 조경디자인 분야에서 공간을 구성하는데 질 높은 다양한 재료들이 활용되고 있다. 그런데 도시공원을 보면 특히 바닥포장과 관련해서는 개선해야 할 부분이 많이 있다. 시대의 흐름 및 도시민의 요구에 부응하여 빠른 시일 내에 도시공원 바닥포장 디자인의 개선이 이루어져야 하고 재료 선정에 변화가 있어야 한다. 도시공원의 바닥포장은 이용자의 쾌적성, 안전성, 접근성 등에 영향을 준다. 도시공원 바닥포장의 디자인 개선에 관한 본 연구는 쾌적한 도시공원을 위해 필요로 하는 바닥포장의 조성에 대한 연구이다. 연구방법은 선유도, 서울숲, 월드컵공원의 현황을 조사하여 바닥포장과 관련된 문제의 요인과 유형을 분석하고, 문제를 해결하고 공간의 질을 높이기 위해 바닥포장 개선 방안을 연구하여 설계안을 제시하였다. 도시공원 바닥포장의 품질 개선을 도모하며, 향후 도시공원 바닥포장 디자인의 수준을 제고하는데 유용하게 활용될 수 있는 자료를 제공하는 것에 본 연구의 의의와 목적이 있다. 연구를 수행하기 위하여 도시공원 바닥포장에 대해 현황 조사 및 분석이 이루어졌다. 또한 연구 결과를 토대로 하여 바람직한 바닥포장 재료 및 색채를 선정하고 적절한 바닥포장 디자인의 변경안을 제시하였다. 도시공원 바닥포장의 디자인 변경이 요구되는 현황을 조사하고 그 원인을 분석하여 개선안을 제시한 본 연구의 내용은 이용자가 만족할 수 있는 쾌적하고 아름다운 도시공간을 조성하는데 도움이 될 것이다. As cities continue to develop, people desire to fulfil their mental and cultural desires. So the demand for improving the city environment is more palatable than ever. The `outer-space` physical element in landscape architecture has its own role to play in satisfying this demand. The general frame of `outer-space` is mostly based on land, plants, and formative factors, regardless of size, fixedness, or location. The space for leisure use is divided into three parts. The first is `natural space` including mountains, rivers, and seas. The second is `natural space with added artificial elements` such as parks and terraced land on the rivers, which are created to protect the natural space from probable damage and to make full use of the space as rest areas. The third is `purposeful space` such as squares and parks with environmental and human facilities. They are the spaces made for the purposes of resting, recreation, and/or indicating the border of inside or outside of buildings. The ideal function of the elements of outer space is not only providing beauty, but also playing an important role in determining the atmosphere of limited space like parks. With the rapidly changing social norm, the design period tends to get shorter and shorter, and the recent trend is to use materials with high quality and diversity. However, the design of pavement in city parks has not been remodeled. Great improvements to facility maintenance, repair work, and plant preservation in parks have been made, but the issue of remodelling pavement has hardly been considered. Given that the type of pavement can give comfort or stress to the people visiting parks, it plays an important role in park design. This study is to design and create surface pavement for improving the outdoor spatial quality of city parks. The specific goals and objectives of this study are: to develop design criteria for creating user-responsive outdoor space, based upon the research findings drawn from site survey and analysis focusing on the surface pavement in city parks; and to make specific design recommendations, if there is room for improvement, for improving the outdoor spatial quality of city parks. This research study focused on surface pavement in 3 city parks (Seonyu Island, Seoul Forest, World Cup Park) such as overall image, arrangement of pavement, design and pattern, material, and color. With this background, and with survey and analysis, this study will suggest design changes to pavement in order to make the public space of the city park more satisfying and comfortable to its users. Findings obtained from this research study could be used in the designing of future projects in order to get a better understanding of the needs of users. The changes in order to meet users` needs and to improve the spatial quality of the city parks should be implemented.

        MZ세대의 주거공간 이용행태 및 공간개선요구 연구 - COVID-19 이후 변화된 공간이용행태 대응을 중심으로 -

        This study investigates the problems of existing residential spaces and proposes spatial improvements to support various changes in residential space use behaviors of the MZ generation after COVID-19. In the literature review, existing residential space use behaviors and their changes after COVID-19 were identified. In the subsequent user-study, 55 unmarried MZ households dwelling in multifamily housing in Seoul and metropolitan areas were surveyed. The respondents’ socio-economic and housing characteristics, their residential space use behavioral patterns(i.e., behaviors, frequency of behaviors, and related rooms), problems of existing residential spaces, and improvement needs in response to behavioral pattern changes after COVID-19 were investigated. As result, the duration of staying at home increased after COVID-19 and most of the residential use behaviors occurred in the bedroom. The factor analysis revealed four behavioral types such as ‘cleaning and organizing behavior’, ‘appearance management and displaying behavior’, ‘hobby-seeking behavior’, and ’independent and static behavior’ for the residential space use behaviors of the MZ generation. Among these behaviors, the ‘SNS activities’ from the ‘appearance management and displaying behavior’ factor and the ‘watching video’ from the ‘independent and static behavior’ factor were found most frequently and were affected less by the related, executed room(i.e., bedroom). The respondents needed to reduce the living/dining room to expand the bedroom due to its increased usage after COVID-19. The respondents’ preferences for their overall residential floor area were found related to their current household size. In addition, the respondents preferred to have sufficient space to improve efficiency, spaciousness, and ease of management. The respondents addressed that not only a variety of behaviors but also new activities related to health and hygiene occurred at home. However, conversations among family members decreased due to the increase in personal and social activities at home after COVID-19. The implications of the results and the limitations of the research methods are discussed.

        경기도 북부지역 119안전센터 공간평가를 통한 개선 방안

        Since the advance of technology is causing urban spaces to rapidly get manhattainized, enlarged, under-grounded, dense and complicated, it is necessary to suggest plans for improving fire-department buildings in consideration of the work efficiency of 119 Safety Center and the health/safety of fire-fighting officers. Accordingly, this study employed 5 top-items, 15 sub-items and 69 details which are the evaluation instrument of space improvement in 119 Safety Center for the assessment of 9 119 Safety Centers in the northern part of Gyoungki-Province, which led to the following outcomes for the improvement. First, the result of diagnostic assessment of 9 119 Safety Centers was 53.69%. The space improvement of the safety area and the physical and environmental area was found to be urgent the most. Second, with the diagnostic assessment by sub-items, 11 of those were scored less than 60%. The assessment revealed that those scored less than 40% by the sub-items of safety, method/supplementation and emotion/mentality need the improvement above all. Third, the diagnostic assessment by details found that 36 out of 69 were less than 60% and 18 less than 40%, all of which need an urgent improvement. Fourth, 9 centers were diagnostically assessed to find A & D need new buildings and B, C and D need building extensions, suggesting the improvement plan of each center. 도시공간이 테크놀리지의 발달로 고층화, 대형화, 지하화, 밀집화, 복합화가 급속하게 진행되고 있어 119안전센터의 업무효율과 소방공무원의 건강과 안전을 고려한 소방청사의 개선 방안의 제시가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 기 개발된 119안전센터의 공간개선 평가도구인 5가지 상위항목과 15가지 하위 항목, 그리고 69가지의 세부항목을 활용하여 경기도 북부지역 9개소를 평가하여 개선방향을 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 119안전센터 9개소의 진단평가 결과 53.69%이며 상위항목 중 안전 부분과 물리·환경 부분의 공간개선이 가장 시급하게 필요하다. 둘째, 하위항목 진단평가결과 15개중 60% 미만은 11개이며 그중 40%미만 3개 항목인 안전, 방법·보완, 정서·심리는 우선 개선이 필요하다. 셋째, 세부항목 진단평가결과 69개중 60%미만은 36개이며 40% 미만인 항목도 18개로 우선 개선이 필요하다. 넷째, 9개소 진단 평가 결과 A와 D는 신축이 필요하고 B, C, F는 증축이 필요하며 각 센터별 개선방향을 제시하였다.

        아파트 거주자의 녹화 개선 방안에 대한 의식분석

        This paper aimed to identify the awareness of residents on the green area, the important element in residential environment in apartment complex, and find out the approach to improve such awareness by extensively analyzing the satisfaction of residents in small apartment complexes, whose demand have been recently increasing, on green environment in their residential areas, suitability, and the approaches to activate the use of green spaces and to improve green spaces, as the basic research related to improvement of environment in apartment complexes and awareness on green in those complexes. In accordance with the analysis results, the residents were generally satisfied with the green environment. In particular, the satisfaction on the dimension and quantity of green spaces was high. For the suitability of green environment in apartment complex, the residents considered resting, games or sports as the suitable activities in green areas. According to the analysis results on the awareness of residents on the approaches to activate the green environment in the complexes based on the evaluation on the satisfaction on and suitability of green environment, the residents selected the administrative and financial support as the major approaches for activation of green spaces. For improving the green environment, the major desires of residents were related to the formation of green spaces which could increase the quantity of green spaces and diversify the configuration of green spaces including increase of trees, flowering plants and trees. This paper suggested the following approaches to improve the afforestation in apartment complexes on the basis of the analysis results. The green spaces in apartment complexes are important elements in local green environment as well as the joint property. Accordingly, it is required to introduce the financial and administrative support and the programs for increasing the participation of residents and improving their awareness in the apartment complexes. Since it is estimated that the residents will be more satisfied with the green spaces when the green spaces are more increased and diversified, it is necessary to increase the green spaces intensively around the entrances to the apartment complexes where the visual amount of green spaces can be increased and the major spaces where residents use more than other spaces. The green spaces, the common outdoor space, plays the critical roles in forming the community of residents. Thus, the major activity space in the apartment complexes needs to be designed to enable diverse age groups to use such space.

        공공디자인 측면에서의 국립공원 환경개선의 효과성 및 만족도 분석 - 탐방로 진입부 공간을 중심으로 -

        This study examined the effectiveness of and satisfaction of visitors with the Environmental Improvement Project on national parks’ trail entry areas. A survey was conducted to improve the proposal framework based on the data. Data for the study were obtained from 6400 respondents who used 28 national park offices at 32 national park trail entry areas. The field research was collected in 3200 surveys, divided between pre- and post-implementation of the Environmental Improvement Project. The study variables consisted of socio-demographics, visitors’ perceptions on the environmental improvement of trail entries, effects of the environmental improvement, and visitor satisfaction. Several important results were found. First, the environment of trail entries has a significant impact on the formation of images and user satisfaction of national parks. Second, the influence of the trail entry improvement showed that 71.8% of visitors rated the trail entry as environmentally friendly after the Environmental Improvement Project, compared to 48.5% of visitors rated the trail entry as environmentally friendly before the Environmental Improvement Project. The findings indicated that a top priority of environmental improvement of the trail entries needs to be the installation of convenience facilities such as rest areas, restrooms, and direction boards (pre: 34.5%, post: 32.6%). Third, functionality and the other nine variables were shown to enhance the effect of the environmental improvement of the trail entries at the 1% statistical significance level. Finally, results indicated that the overall satisfaction of the visitors with the park was significantly higher after the environmental improvement (t-value=25.741, p=.000), showing the satisfaction score was higher after the environmental improvement (pre: 3.51, post: 4.12), with a statistically significant difference at the 1 % level. This study helps to understand trail entries, which have influenced the image of the national park and satisfaction. These findings can be utilized to manage and design a national park as a public space.
