        요통환자에 대한 PNF 적용 효과에 관한 고찰

        Purpose : When the pliability of the Lumbar is degraded, the kinesiology function undergoes an influence and it receives an overload. Finally, it is connected with a Lumbar muscular injury. When it does the regular exercise treatment the lumbago patient the balance and function of changeover are improved. The purpose of this study is to review of effect of the PNF application for lumbago patient Methods : By using internet, we research the PubMed, Science Direct, KISS, DBpia and the article on the effect of PNF. We selected the article between 1970 and 2007. Key words were low back pain, lumbago, PNF. Results : PNF is a therapeutic exercise for central nervous system(CNS) patient and the peripheral nervous system(PNS) patient and it is widely applied from sports medicine in the last. According to research of the Jung Young Jo(2007) and Han Kou Soo(2002), PNF technique improves the pain and a condition of the lumbago patient. And the affection balanced change and dynamic balance change and spontaneous movable scope are improved. And it improved to daily life activity. According to research of Moore and Hutton(1980), Lee Kyoung Hye(1999), PNF stretching where it is one of muscular relaxation is good in lumbar muscle fascia ache solutions, and PNF stretching that muscle is relaxed and increases ROM by Reflective system of the vertebra. These researches is relation all each other. it have appeared many report of research about Pliability, muscular power, balance, mobility improve ADL movement of attendance ability and functional action improved excise therapy put effect about lumbago patient recently, it have appeared research about therapy of lumbago patient through PNF. But PNF technique is not application about lumbago patient in clinic, therefore also it is not enough for case study about this therapy. Conclusion : PNF improve combination operation of muscle, inconvenience decrease from daily life activity, ROM(range of movement) of lumbar is increase and Lumbago reduce. So we suggest that PNF will be applies on the lumbago patient and must do a many research.

        태권도 경기력 및 운동수행능력과 PNF운동

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate PNF exercise, the athletic performances and the ability of exercise capacity in Taekwondo. Methods : This is a literature study with books and articles, seminar note and books for PNF international course. Results : The PNF exercise was efficient at improving flexibility and muscle strengthening in Taekwondo athletes. Kinematic characters of Yupchagi and Dollyuchagi in Taekwondo were analogous to Lower extremity Flexion-Abduction-Internal Rotation patterns in PNF, and the kinematic character of Apchagi was to analogous to Lower extremity Flexion-Adduction-External Rotation pattern in PNF. Movements of Upper extremities and Lower extremities during kicking were similar to PNF patterns. The PNF is efficient at improving athletic performances and the ability of exercise capacity in Taekwondo. Conclusion : The result of this study showed that PNF patterns and kicking that is one of the basic movement in Taekwondo have many similarities. With that PNF patterns was the training methods to improve flexibility and muscle strengthening, PNF patterns are considered to improve athletic performances and the ability of exercise capacity in Taekwondo.

        근기능개선을 위한 요가아사나와 PNF의 적용

        본 연구는 근기능 개선을 위한 요가아사나와 PNF의 적용방안을 알아 보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 요가아사나의 여러 효과 중 근기능에 관한 논문을 추출하였다. 10편의 요가 논문을 통해 근기능의 항목으로 유연성, 근력, 근지구력, 평형성, 순발력, 민첩성에 관한 개선효과를 분석 하였다. PNF 논문 중 PNF스트레칭, 정적 스트레칭, 동적스트레칭의 유연성과 근력변화를 분석한 논문 10편을 추출하였다. 요가아사나는 근기 능 항목 중 유연성에서 뛰어난 효과를 보였고 평형성, 근지구력에서 효과가 있었으며 근력에서는 효과가 적었다. PNF 스트레칭은 유연성에서 정적스트레칭, 동적 스트레칭보다 유의한 효과를 보였으며 등속성각근력에서도 일부 유의한 효과를 보였다. 요가아사나와 다른 운동을 접목 한 논문을 살펴보면 유연성운동, 근력 운동이 독립된 프로그램으로 순차적으로 연결되어 있었다. 본 논문에서 요가아사나와 PNF의 적용방안으로 요가아사나에 PNF 스트레칭기법을 하나의 동작에 적용하는 방식을 제시하였다. 이를 통해 요가아사나의 근기능 개선 효과를 보다 증진하여 요가치료와 재활운동, 운동경기능력 향상 등 다양한 부분에 적용될 수 있을 것이라 기대한다. The purpose of the study is to find out how to apply Yogaasana combined with PNF to improve muscular functions. Theses on the muscular functions out of various effects on Yogaasana were abstracted. The improvement effectiveness on flexibility, power strength, muscular endurance, balance, power, and agility was analyzed through 10 theses on Yoga. 10 theses on the change in the flexibility and the muscular strength of PNF stretching, static stretching and dynamic stretching out of PNF theses were abstracted. Yogaasana worked best in terms of flexibility out of muscular functions , moderately on balance and muscular endurance , and less on power. PNF stretching had more significant effect on flexibility than static stretching and dynamic stretching and showed some similar effect on the isokinetic leg strength. Looking through the theses on Yogaasana combined with other exercises , flexibility and muscular exercise are connected in consecutive order with individual programs.The method to apply Yogaasana and PNF stretching with a single action as the way to apply Yogaasana combined with PNF was suggested. It is expected that there will be a variety of applications for Yoga therapy, rehabilitation exercise, and athletic performance enhancement by boosting the improvement effectiveness of muscular functions of Yogaasana.

        자가 근막 이완과 PNF 스트레칭 기법에 따른 뒤넙다리근의 근 긴장도 및 유연성에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 자가 근막 이완 기법과 PNF 스트레칭이 뒤넙다리근의 근 긴장도 및 유연성에 미치는 영향을 비교 분석하고자 하였다. 대상자는 허리와 엉덩관절, 무릎관절에 질환이나 신경학적 문제가 없는 30명으로, 자가 근막 이완 그룹, PNF 수축-이완 그룹, PNF 유지-이완 그룹으로 나누어 무작위 할당하였다. 연구는 사전-사후 검사 설계로 진행하였으며, 근 긴장도는 Myonometer 를 이용하여 측정하고, 유연성은 능동 무릎 폄(AKE) 및 수동 무릎 폄(PKE) 검사를 통해 평가하였다. 공분산 분석(ANCOVA) 결과, PNF-HR 기법이 근 긴장도에서 주파수(Frequency) 및 경직도(Stiffness)에서 유의미한 감소를 보였으며, 모든 그룹에서 유연성 개선이 확인되었다. 연구 결과, 자가 근막 이완 기법과 PNF 스트레칭은 뒤넙다리근의 근 긴장도 및 유연성을 개선하는 데 효과적이며, 특히 PNF-HR 기법이 가장 두드러진 효과를 나타내어 신경근 조절 및 근육 이완에 중요한기여를 할 수 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구는 스포츠 재활 및 일반인의 신체 기능 향상에 대한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. This study aimed to compare and analyze the effects of self-myofascial release techniques and PNF stretching on hamstring muscle tone and flexibility. The subjects were 30 individuals without any disorders or neurological issues affecting the lumbar region, hip joints, or knee joints, randomly assigned to self-myofascial release, PNF contract-relax, and PNF hold-relax groups. The study was conducted using a pre-test and post-test design, with muscle tone measured using a Myonometer and flexibility evaluated through Active Knee Extension (AKE) and Passive Knee Extension (PKE) tests. The results of ANCOVA showed that the PNF-HR technique significantly reduced muscle tone in terms of frequency and stiffness, while improvements in flexibility were observed across all groups. The findings indicate that both self-myofascial release techniques and PNF stretching are effective in improving hamstring muscle tone and flexibility, with the PNF-HR technique demonstrating the most pronounced effects, suggesting its significant contribution to neuromuscular regulation and muscle relaxation. This study can serve as a foundational reference for enhancing physical function in sports rehabilitation and among the general population.

        노인의 기초 체력 향상을 위한 PNF 기법 적용

        Purpose : The purpose of this study is to review of effect of the PNF application for improvement of the basic physical fitness in the elderly. Methods : By using internet, we research the PubMed, Science Direct, KISS, DBpia and the article on the effect of PNF. We selected the article between 1970 and 2007. Key words were PNF, Exercise, Elderly. Results : PNF refers to any of several post-isometric relaxation stretching techniques in which a muscle group is passively stretched, then contracts isometrically against resistance while in the stretched position, and then is passively stretched again through the resulting increased range of motion. Most PNF techniques employ isometric agonist contraction/relaxation where the stretched muscles are contracted isometrically and then relaxed. The most common PNF techniques are CR, HR, CRAC, HR-AC, AC. PNF exercise effected on the muscular strength and flexibility and balance and ROM in the elderly. Conclusion : PNF is a safety and effective exercise to improve the muscular strength and flexibility and balance and ROM in the elderly. Therefore, we suggest that PNF need to generalize for the elderly.

        연도별 고유수용성신경근촉진법운동치료를 실시한 국내학위논문을 살펴본 결과1998년부터 2004년까지 4편, 2005년부터 2009년까지 17편, 2010년부터 2014년까지 23편으로 점차 논문편수가 증가하였고 PNF패턴을 이용한 운동치료는 중추신경계환자 뿐만아니라 근골격계환자, 스포츠계 운동선수, 만성폐쇄성 폐질환환자, 건강한 성인 등에게도 효과가 확대증가됨에 따라 앞으로 다양한 영역에서도 PNF치료법은 활성화가 된 것으로 사료된다 Internationally PNF had been 65 years history, in Korea formal IPNFA education was started 30years ago. Still PNF is one of best intervention in physical therapy field at the worldwide. And the research of related PNF was increasing and developing every year. Furthermore the field of research was more widely spreading from neurologic and musculoskeletal to sports injury, cardiopulmonary, and elder. So PNF concept is one of effective approach for the patients who had various type of dysfunction in Korea

        ‘PNF and Movement’의 연구 동향

        Purpose: This study investigates research trends in the Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) and Movement journal. Methods: This study analyzes the frequency of keywords and their coincidences with medical subject headings (MeSH) over 15 years in 315 papers from volume 1, issue 1 to volume 15, issue 3 of a journal published by the Korean Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Association. The research types and levels are also analyzed, and the journals are classified by subject, diagnosis, application of PNF, and technique used when PNF is applied. All of the variables are classified in five-year units and their trends are examined. Results: A total of 315 papers were published in 40 issues, and 1190 keywords were used over 15 years. The most frequently used keyword was “PNF.” For the keywords that coincided with the MeSH, there were 235 (19.74%) complete coincidence words, 167 (14.03%) incomplete coincidence words, and 788 (66.21%) complete incoincidence words. Thus, the number of complete incoincidence words was the largest. For research types, there were 196 (61.90%) experimental studies, which was the most studied research type. For research levels, there were 155 (49.21%) Level 3 studies (non-randomized trial), which was the research level with the largest number of papers. Normal people were the most common subjects (121 cases, 38.41%), and the number of papers that did not use PNF was 187 (59.37%), which was larger than those that used PNF. The most frequently used combination technique was isotonics when PNF was used. Conclusion: Basic data on PNF-related research was obtained by analyzing papers published over the past 15 years. This information can be used to suggest future directions for PNF research.

        PNF스트레칭 및 PNF패턴운동이 운동수행능력에 미치는 영향에 관한 비교 연구

        The purpose of this study is to find out whether there are significant exercise performance differences in the three fitness factors (power, agility, and flexibility) when conducting PNF stretching and PNF pattern. In order to evaluate performance, power was performed by Vertical Jump(VJ), agility by Side Step(SS), and flexibility by Modified Sit and Reach(MSaR). The subjects of the study were randomly selected 10 male students at S University in Seoul who had not musculoskeletal disease and neuro/cardiopulmonary system abnormality. For the measurement of the study, this study compared the maximum potential using the Telemyo 2400T System (Noraxon, USA). The results of the first study showed that the power(VJ) of PNF Pattern group was significantly better than PNF Stretching group. Second, the agility(SS) of PNF Pattern group was significantly better than PNF Stretching group, and the third, flexibility(MSaR) showed the same result as the previous results. However, none of the three fitness factors showed significant differences in the muscle activity when conducting PNF stretching and PNF pattern.

        ICF 모형의 고유수용성신경근촉진법 실기 적용

        Purpose : To provide a convenient framework for PNF practice, we reviewed the relationship between ICF framework and PNF framework. Methods : We reviewed literatures related with ICF and PNF. Results : ICF model is useful tool for physical therapist who is working in PNF to identify the interactions the components of individual's health, especially the relationship between functioning and disability. A framework for PNF is philosophy which included the concept, functional approach. It is essential to identify primary activity limitation and causal impairment in PNF field and evaluate the their relationship. The ICF model can be used to classify the examination information. Next step is to prioritize the activity limitation and then evaluate the interrelationships among each components of the ICF framework. Conclusions : ICF model guides physical therapist in PNF practice to identify patient problems and evaluate the interrelationship of components of their health. This model is logical framework to directs functional approach as PNF philosophy to be approached the goal.

      • 고유수용성신경근촉진법의 치료적 근거는?

        Purpose: This study aimed to review articles related to PNF and easily provide information to readers who have difficulty reading papers or using PNF in clinics without a background in statistical knowledge. Methods: We used PubMed to collect papers on international studies and we conducted a search on April 28, 2014. Keywords used for the PubMed search were “PNF” and “Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation”. The search results identified 765 papers that had been published since 1954. To target the papers for review, we selected 66 papers, excluding papers that were not published in online journals and papers that were written in a second language. Results: The reviewed papers consisted of studies that addressed basic principles and procedures, combined with other interventions, including PNF stretching concepts, and other diseases with PNF concepts. The articles related to basic procedures and principles reported on optimal contraction intensity, patterns, and irradiation. The articles related to stretching and strengthening reported on stretching the hamstring muscles in healthy subjects, in combination with other interventions such as neuromobilization, clinical massage, kinesio taping, and water immersion. The articles related to specific diseases reported on stroke, low back pain, athletic injury, total knee replacement, etc. Conclusion: In the 66 articles reviewed for this study, there was little evidence that PNF has therapeutic value. However, in future research on the application of PNF, investigators could conduct a more in-depth analysis of this topic and present more objective and useful information on the therapeutic benefits of PNF. .
