        친환경 캠퍼스의 외부공간에 대한 수요자의 선호도 조사

        The purpose of this study is to analysis the preference of the students on the outdoor spaces and the related facilities for creating the sustainable outdoor spaces in university campuses. The survey was conducted of students from three universities located in Jinju-si as the method of the study. Students preferred open spaces and green spaces the most, waterfront spaces the least as the outdoor space in university campus. Survey respondents preferred the spaces providing resting, amenity and communication as the general outdoor spaces. And they preferred the spaces providing functional and aesthetic satisfaction to the occupants as the sustainable outdoor spaces. Local community revitalization is the least responded among the reasons of preferring the outdoor spaces in campus. Students preferred bench, trash can and pergola as the facilities that needed at the outdoor spaces in campus. It seems students prefer the facilities to support their outdoor activities and rest-activities at the outdoor spaces. According to the overall result of the study, there are no significant differences between the preference for the general outdoor spaces and the preference for the sustainable outdoor spaces in campus. However, the study doesn’t clearly state the reason for the result from the preference survey stated above. This limit could be complemented in the later studies.

        공동주택 실외 놀이 공간 계획의 친환경적 평가에 관한 연구

        (Background and Purpose) Outdoor play spaces are often the most frequently used public spaces in apartment housing, and places where various communities are formed and residents` health and comfort can be improved. This interest in outdoor play spaces, combined with growing emphasis on environment-friendly materials and energy conservation, has expanded the necessity of developing outdoor play spaces that are in harmony with and protective of the environment. The purpose of this study is to evaluate environment-friendly elements relevant to outdoor play spaces to improve the quality of outdoor play spaces within apartment complexes, and, based on the results, to provide baseline data related to environment-friendly planning measures for future apartment housing outdoor play spaces. (Method) This study targeted seven apartment housing outdoor play spaces located in Seoul and conducted a case analysis through on-site survey. Environment-friendly elements were extracted from preceding environment-friendly research and the environment-friendly certificate system, and, based on the elements, a checklist was made for environment-friendly evaluation of outdoor play spaces. Then, on-site surveys were performed at the seven target spaces using the checklist. (Results) This study, which evaluated seven play spaces and classified the environmental elements of land use, traffic, ecological environment, energy, and environmental load, found that apartment housing outdoor play spacing houses appeared to have inadequately considered the environment in their planning stages. First, although plans for play spaces utilizing the existing natural terrain were established in most cases, some had problems in the use of bike lanes and exclusive pedestrian roads near and directed toward the play space. Second, with respect to the artificial greening technique, side greening and facade greening were well applied, but the axis of the green belt was insufficiently considered. Third, although the systems for both rainwater load reduction for water resource conservation and trash and garbage disposal turned out to be relatively favorable, there was no plan for the use of rainwater, and the energy use and garbage disposal spaces were not sufficiently considered. (Conclusions) When play spaces are planned, a primary goal should be to promote children`s safety. This includes creating separate bike lanes and pedestrian roads towards play space. It also requires more attention paid to environment-friendly materials in the play space, including creating the green axis using the existing green belt as well as various types of ecology. Sustainability must also be an important consideration. Plans for outdoor play spaces should include water and energy conservation measures through rainwater use systems, water resource conservation systems, energy systems, and solar-powered lighting and recycling-type garbage disposals in harmony with adjacent landscapes to maintain cleanliness. In the future, follow-up studies should be conducted on the specific measures to utilize the study results as guidelines for the design of environment-friendly outdoor play spaces.

        호수밀도를 고려한 옥외부대복리시설 기준과 옥외공간에 관한 연구

        This study aims to prove unreasonable rules of outdoor service facilities on investigating how household density influences the amount of outdoor service facilities in housing and the remnant of outdoor space excluding outdoor service facilities, and to propose methods improving the regulation of outdoor service facilities in consideration of residential environment's quality. For this purpose, the whole outdoor space was divided into two different-quality areas, 1st outdoor spaces and 2nd outdoor spaces; The former consists of landscape area and the remnant of outdoor space excluding 2nd outdoor spaces. That is to say, these are the naturally and easily accessible surroundings without specific purposes. The latter is composed of outdoor sports facilities, playgrounds for children, roads and outdoor parking facilities, which are obligatory facilities, the places for restricted purpose and residents. As a result of analyzing the influence of household density on the area of both spaces, the 2nd outdoor spaces were revealed to increase in area with a rise of household density and in consequence of that the 1st outdoor spaces, on the contrary, diminished. Because the 2nd outdoor spaces' areas are added up by the number of houses. The effect was more obvious and deeper particularly in high density housing. But, satisfying only the obligatory facilities' areas does not always guarantee good quality of the whole outdoor space. Because the 1st outdoor spaces are one of important factors of outdoor design even those are not composed of obligatory facilities. Therefore, to complete even and good quality of residential environment in the whole outdoor space, the regulation of outdoor service facilities should be applied in accordance with household density and we should legislate a regulation on the remnant of outdoor space excluding outdoor service facilities as well as meet the areas of outdoor service facilities.

      • 아파트 외부 공간 특성에 따른 어린이놀이터 이용실태에 관한 연구

        The importance of playground, which is a central place in the outdoor space scheme for apartment and in children's outdoor activity, is increasing. The stature and availability in playground may be varied according to connection between playground and outdoor space and to characteristics of outdoor space. The purpose of this study is to arrange basic data in guidelines of a planning for supporting children's development and for activating its use in the apartment housing. This study conducted the field survey and questionnaire research after selecting 4-case apartment complexes based on the relevant preceding research. The survey results are as follows. Children were recognizing and preferring the playground as the central space in outdoor play activity. Mothers were preferring outdoor space adjacent to playground. There were the most responses with saying that a mother takes to play with a child. Children responded that the use of playground and the rides are the outdoor activity that they do the most. And, it was surveyed that there is difference in dweller's using playground by apartment complex according to characteristics of a planning for outdoor space. Given being connected with square with segregation of pedestrian and vehicle and with the resting space, the availability in playground was the highest. The availability in playground, which has high connection with diversely outdoor space elements while having good accessibility to the apartment building, was surveyed to be high. Playground had high preference in case of being connected with waterfront and resting space, rather than green zone. Diverse environmental artifacts and decorative fence may become a visually stimulus source that can activate the use of playground.

        집합주택의 개별적 외부공간의 계획에 대한 연구

        The individualized outdoor space in the multi-family housing is a important architectural planning element, which keenly determines housing typology. As well as it is a social sphere, which guarantees user's private activity. The purpose of this study is to understand the historical development of this space and to find out the usable elements for planning and design, those are corresponding to the newly developed housing typology and contemporary concepts of space use. For this end, firstly, various typologies of individualized outdoor space have been effectuating in view of social attribute, position in the building, way of arrangement etc. And then, most possible types are classified in some categories; privatized outdoor space, opened outdoor space to the public, territorialized outdoor space, outdoor space on the building surface, additional outdoor space, internalized outdoor space. Secondly, european examples since industrial revolution era to the 90's have been chronological examined and its prevailing tendency has been interpreted. The individualized outdoor space in the contemporary housing design has some meaningful characteristics with the changes of the time; 1) the back yard exists no more and instead of this, front yard has been privatized or it is often open to the public, 2) instead of courtyard or atrium most intimate small patios on the building surface have been appeared, 3) not only very closed and hidden space but also transparent and opened balconies exist together, 4) it has function as external representation for building design and in many cases it can be transformed according to the user's needs. It is expected that this study will be a helpful guide for architectural planning in this sector.

        영유아보육시설의 생태교육 활성화를 위한 외부공간계획에 관한 연구

        The trend emphasizes children-oriented, play-oriented ecological education programs for children's ecological education. And most of these nature -friendly and eco-friendly education takes place outdoors. Therefore, outdoor space planning is important in childcare facilities. This case study aims to analyze the actual conditions of outdoor spaces in daycare centers and to provide standard data for outdoor space planning. In order to provide basic data on the improvement direction and planning standards of outdoor spaces, this present study conducted the composition, utilization status and related problems of outdoor spaces for nature -friendly ecological education in childcare facilities. Accordingly, outdoor space planning for ecological education should consider outdoor space characteristics such as free and easy accessibility between indoor and outdoor spaces, openness of space, flexibility, dynamic/static space, and nature affinity. Therefore, for an ecological education environment, children should be able to freely approach nature and play in the natural environment without any restrictions and artificial controls. Also, in urban areas, natural environment such as parks and open spaces should be considered as outdoor play spaces for children.

        유아-공간 관계적 관점에서의 바라본 유아교육기관 실외공간에 관한 선행연구 고찰

        This study examines the outdoor space of early childhood education institutions from the relational point of view, where space is defined as ‘a fluid state’ emerging throughout a continual interaction between the human and non human actor. For this purpose, relevant studies recently published in Korea, Japan, and Europe were searched and reviewed. The results are as follows. First, there are two different aspects of the young children interacting with outdoor space: giving meaning to the outdoor space and experiencing it with their body(corps parlant). Second, the outdoor space affects young children’s behavior and play in two ways: outdoor space plays a role in promoting the child-child-teacher relationship and leading children’s creative play. Third, the teacher has two conflicting perceptions of outdoor space: some recognized the outdoor space as an ‘open space’ where the young children are subjectively involved, whereas others saw it as a ‘contained place’ where the children's behavior is forced by the given space. Lastly, based on the results of this study, directions for the composition of the outdoor space of the early childhood educational institution and implications for future research were proposed. 본 연구는 공간을 사회적 상호관계물로 바라보는 관계적 공간 담론을 토대로 유아-공간의관계적 관점에서 유아교육기관의 실외공간에 대한 선행연구를 고찰하였다. 이를 위해 유아와실외공간과의 상호관계성에 기초하여 최근 국내·외 선행 연구물을 검색‧검토하여 다음과 같은내용을 도출하였다. 먼저 유아가 공간에 관계하는 측면에서의 양상은 유아에 의해 의미가 부여되는 실외공간, 유아의 ‘몸’으로 체험되는 실외공간이다. 다음으로 실외공간이 유아 행위에 작용하는 양상은 다양한 상호적 관계 생성을 촉진하는 실외공간, 유아의 창발적 놀이를 이끌어내는 실외공간이다. 마지막으로 유아-공간의 상호관계에 영향을 미치는 교사의 인식은 유아가주체적으로 실외공간과 관계 맺도록 지원하는 열린 공간 인식과 주어진 공간에 의해 유아 행위가 강요되는 절대적 공간 인식으로 드러났다. 이같이 정리된 내용을 토대로 유아-공간의 관계적 관점에서 유아교육기관 실외공간의 구성 방향과 추후 연구에 대한 시사점을 도출하였다.

        야외공간을 가진 갤러리 특징에 관한 연구

        Due to the increase in interest in art works, the number of gallery visitors has increased rapidly, and the space of the gallery is gradually becoming a complex cultural space. After the COVID-19 pandemic, the preference for outdoor spaces continues, but outdoor spaces are not often used in galleries where commercial purposes are the main. This study attempted to understand the function of the outdoor space and the relationship between the gallery by analyzing the cases of four galleries with outdoor spaces . According to the analysis of four galleries with outdoor spaces, including the layout, components, usage, functions, and roles of outdoor spaces, the outdoor space of the gallery mainly has a function of relaxation and is used as an exhibition space for special events such as exhibition open parties and artist talks. Although it had only a function of relaxation or an element of prospect that was not linked to the exhibition, it had a closed character compared to public art museums. It was found that the use of outdoor spaces, not limited to indoor spaces, can show professionalism through exhibition linkage, establish gallery identity through various services, and increase the frequency and satisfaction of visitors. 미술작품에 대한 관심의 증가로 갤러리 방문객은 급속하게 증가했으며 갤러리의 공간도 점차 복합문화공간화되고 있다. 코로나 팬데믹 이후 야외공간에 대한 선호도는 계속되고 있으나 상업적 목적이 주가 되는 갤러리에서는 야외공간을 활용하는 경우는 많지 않다. 본 연구는 수도권에 위치한 야외공간을 가진 갤러리 4곳의 사례를 분석하여 야외공간의 기능과 갤러리와의 관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 야외공간의 배치형태, 구성요소, 사용현황, 기능 및 역할과 더불어 야외공간의 접근성, 서비스, 전시 연계성을 중심으로 분석한 결과, 갤러리의 야외공간은 주로 휴식의 기능을 가지고 있으며, 전시 오픈 파티와 아티스트 토크 같은 특별한 행사에 활용되거나 야외에 설치가 가능한 작품이 있을 경우 전시공간으로 활용하고 있었다. 전시와는 연계성이 없는 휴식의 기능이나 전망 요소로의 기능만 갖추고 있기도 하였지만, 공공미술관에 비교해볼 때 폐쇄적인 성격을 가지고 있었다. 실내공간에 국한되지 않은 야외공간의 활용은 전시연계를 통한 전문성을 잘 보여줄 수 있으며, 다양한 서비스를 통해 갤러리 정체성을 확립하고 방문객의 빈도와 만족도를 높여줄 수 있음이 나타났다.

        아파트단지 옥외공간 선호 속성 분석

        1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study is to analysis on preferences of the outdoor space attributes for differentiated Multi-Family Housing complex in metropolitan region and regional region. (2) RESEARCH METHOD This study was focused on survey analysis. The data for this analysis were collect from the questionnaire. The collection of data was done by random sampling, which considered the demographic characteristics, such as gender and age, out of 368 people from metropolitan region and 487 people from regional region. we’ve surveyed and analyzed the following items: (1) 12 important items among all outdoor space items, (2) 10 important outdoor space items among community space, (3) 6 items among educational space, (4) 8 items among well-being space, and (5) 8 items for common use space. Especially this study was tested by the crosstabulation analysis and the analysis of T-test with SPSS 12.0 as statistical package. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS The metropolitan region and regional region is showing the differences in each items, but after conducting a statistical t-test on the difference between metropolitan region and regional region, there were no significant differences between these two areas. 2. RESULTS (1) Survey result of the 12 important items among all outdoor space’ Most people from metropolitan region and regional region selected the trail within the complex and then hydroponic facilities (ponds, fountain, over ecology), then indoor sports facility (2) Survey result of 10 items among detailed outdoor space of the community’ Most people selected the resting area and then children’s play ground, hydroponic facilities, Central Square within the complex, and then senior citizen’s center. (3) Survey result of 6 items among detailed outdoor space of the educational space: The multi-purpose training space (children’s learning center. liberal arts, entertainment and housewives classroom) were mostly selected by metropolitan region and regional region. (4) Survey result of 8 items among detailed outdoor space of the well-being space: The trail within the complex was mostly selected by metropolitan region and regional region. (5) Survey result of 8 items among common user outdoor space’ for both metropolitan region and regional region, the shopping mall was mostly selected and then, bicycle storage room.

        컨조인트 분석기법을 이용한 공동주택 옥외공간의 선호도분석을 통한 표적시장 선정

        The purpose of this study is to find the preferred properties of potential users for the outdoor space of the multi-family housing complex and to select the target market through market segmentation. we’ve conducted conjoint analysis to compare metropolitan region and regional region. There are 4 attributes for outdoor spaces communication space, Well-being space, cultural space and childcare and educational space. Each attributes are divided into 3 levels so there are a total of 12 levels. For above 12 items, we’ve composed of a combination of a total of 11 outdoor space (including 2 holdout cards) by using the orthogonal array. The respondents have indicated the priority of each combination from 1 (most preferred combination) through 11(least preferred combination). The survey result will calculate the importance of property and the benefit value of property level by using conjoint analysis technique to find out which properties the potential user of the outdoor space of the multi-family housing complex will emphasize and select. Then will conduct the market segmentation by correlating the statistical properties by non-hierarchical cluster analysis. Thus, select the type of outdoor space for each target market according to the characteristics of their type. The subdivided target market divided into three kinds by considering the demographic variables. We’ve used SPSS 12.0 as statistical package. This study has identified the need and the preference of metropolitan region and regional region for the outdoor space and has derived the utility value of outdoor space and has selected the target market. In addition, we’ve surveyed and analyzed the preference of the outdoor space from the multi-family housing buyers so this can be used as a data for planning and designing the outdoor space when establishing a differentiated strategy for apartments, which meets a rational and logical basis to fulfill its need.
