        고속운행을 위한 활차식 장력조정장치 성능향상 개발

        It is designed the tension ratio of 1 : 3 to maintain tension variation within 3% for performance improvement of pulley tensioning device for high speed operation. The plant performance test and certification test of qualified office were performed for oilless bearing with a low friction coefficient and flexible wire rope. Also, it has been performed the running test, visual inspection and certification of qualified office to secure the reliability for high speed operation for 1 year. It is proved that applied the developed tensioning device for high speed operation section.

        Passive micromixer using by convection and surface tension effects with air-liquid interface

        This article describes a passive micromixer that utilizes an air-liquid interface and surface tension effects to enhance fluid mixing via convection and Marangoni effects. Performance of the microfluidic component is tested within a passive-pumpingbased device that consists of three microchannels connected in succession using passive micro-mixers. Mixing was quantified at 5 key points along the length of the device using microscope images of patterned streams of Alexa 488 fluorescent-dyed water and pure DI water flowing through the device. The passive micro-mixer mixed fluid 15-20 times more effectively than diffusion between laminar flow streams alone and is a novel micro-mixer embodiment that provides an additional strategy for removing external components from microscale devices for simpler, autonomous operation.

        Experimental Investigation of the Motion Responses of a Moored Twin-Barge Model in Regular Waves in a Square Tank

        The motion response of floating structures is of significant concern in marine engineering. Floating structures can be disturbed by waves, winds, and currents that create undesirable motions of the vessel, therefore causing challenges to its operation. For a floating structure, mooring lines are provided in order to maintain its position; these should also produce a restoring force when the vessel is displaced. Therefore, it is important to investigate the tension of mooring lines and the motion responses of a twin barge when moored to guarantee the safety of the barge during its operation. It is essential to precisely identify the characteristics of the motion responses of a moored barge under different loading conditions. In this study, the motion responses of a moored twin barge were measured in regular waves of seven different wave directions. The experiment was performed with regular waves with different wavelengths and wave directions in order to estimate the twin-barge motions and the tension of the mooring line. In addition, the motion components of roll, pitch, and heave are completely free. In contrast, the surge, sway, and yaw components are fixed. In the succeeding step, a time-domain analysis is carried out in order to obtain the responses of the structure when moored. As a result, the Response Amplitude Operator (RAO) motion value was estimated for different wave directions. The results of the experiment show that the motion components of the twin barge have a significant effect on the tension of the mooring lines.

        선망어어의 생산성 향상에 관한 연구 - 단선식 시험조업에 있어서 선망의 운동특성 -

        The fundamental studies on the productivity improvement of the purse seine fishery are presented in this paper. The experiment on net shooting and hauling was carried out in the near sea of Jeju Island (33°37.8' N, 126°31.1' E) by using the Cheju national university training ship (A-Ra, 990tons) which was constructed for the one boat system operation of purse seine. The corkline and leadline of the purse seine used for the experiment were 829.1m and 995.7m in length, respectively. Micro data recorder system, net sonde, and tensiometer were used to measure the depth of leadline and the tension of purse seine. Based on the measurement data, the motion and tension of purse seine at the time of shooting, hauling, and pursing were characterized. The experimental results are summarized as follows: 1. The shooting and hauling of net were found to be possible in the one boat system experimental operation. 2. At the time of purse seine shooting, the relationship between the depth (Dp) of leadline and elapsed time (Et) was found to be Dp=7.58Et-6.48. 3. At the time of pursing, the relationship between the depth (Dp) of leadline and elapsed time (Et) was found to be Dp=-0.81Et2+7.42Et+92.04. 4. At the time of pursing, the tension (metric tons) of purse seine attained its maximum value (14.7tons) when the elapsed time is 8 minutes. The relationship with the elapsed time was found to be T=-0.13Et2+3.23Et-5.72. 선망어업의 생산성 향상에 관한 기초 연구로서 제주도 주변 해역어장(33°27.3′N, 126°31.1′E)에서 단선조업이 가능하도록 건조된 시험 조업선인 제주대학교 해양과학대학 실습선 아라호(990톤)를 사용하여 투망과 양망 등의 실험을 실시했다. 실험에 사용한 선망은 뜸줄의 길이 829.1m, 발줄의 길이 995.7m이다. 초소형 메모리 계측기와 망심계, 장력계를 사용하여 그물 아랫자락의 수심과 선망의 장력을 측정하였으며, 측정한 자료를 이용하여 투망과 양망할 때의 그물어구의 운동특성과 장력특성을 해석하였는데, 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 단선식 조업방법에 의해 실시한 시험조업에서 선망의 투망과 양망이 가능했다. 2. 선망을 투망할 때 그물 아랫자락의 침강수심(Dp)과 경과시간(Et)의 관계는 값의 설정범위에서 다음과 같은 실험식으로 나타낼 수 있다. Dp=7.58Et-6.48 3. 죔줄을 죌 때 그물 아랫자락의 침강수심과 경과시간의 관계는 값의 설정 범위에서 다음과 같은 실험식으로 나타낼 수 있다. Dp=-0.81Et2+7.42Et+92.04 4. 죔줄을 죌 때 선망의 장력은 경과시간 8분일 때 최대값(14.7톤)을 나타냈으며, 장력과 경과시간의 관계는 값의 설정범위에서 다음과 같은 실험식으로 나타낼 수 있다. T=-0.13Et2+3.23Et-5.72

        조선후기 종묘 증축과 제향의 변화

        This paper examined the extension of building that had been done according to the increase of number of royal ancestral tablet chambers in the late Joseon, with centered on the idea of time. In principle, Jongmyo(宗廟) was to enshrine King Taejo and ancestors of four generations. However, royal ancestral tablet chambers had increased and the tablet chambers of main building kept increasing. Such increase resulted in the increase of sacrificial offering, ritual operators and the time required. Those excessive increase of royal ancestral tablet chambers in the late Joseon lowered the tension of rite and relaxed the discipline of participants. The efforts to remedy such evil were made most hardly in King Jeongjo period. Various reform measures that King Jeongjo took to shorten the ritual time can be divided broadly into two types. The first was the changes of ritual procedures. Among many procedures of sacrificial rite, Jinchan (進饌; offering of the table) and Heonjak (獻爵; offering of wine) were affected by the increase. Cheonjogwan (薦俎官) or Heongwan (獻官) performed these two procedures by rotating all of 14 chambers and repeating same service. Such progress was boring and took long time. To shorten the lead time, King Jeongjo increased assistants, changed utensils and reduced the movement of ritual operators. For Jinchan, boiled meat, including beef, lamb and pork, was offered at once and the movement of Cheonjogwan to next chamber was minimized. For Heonjak, the time to shuttle between Junsosang (尊所床, side table for wine) and main table was reduced. In the period of King Sunjo, it was allowed to move directly inside to next chamber, like Jinchan. Another measure to shorten the service time was to control the participants. King Jeongjo emphasized the manner of Chuchang (趨蹌) to ritual officers and excluded old and bad-sighted men from prayer reading. And the king instructed to progress the ritual quickly without violating manners, through continuous education on Subok (守僕) which took an important role in the progress of ritual. Such changes were the 'technique of respect' to maintain honour without loosing tension in ritual. Enhancing the effect of ritual through the technique is not merely revering the late kings but raising the authority of ritual master, namely, current king and royal family. 본 논문은 조선후기 세실의 증가 속에서 이루어진 건물의 증축을 ‘시간’이란 관념에서 살펴본 글이다. 세실의 증가는 제향을 통해 시간의 증대로 전환되었는데 조선후기 지나친 세실의 증가는 제향의 공경함을 위협하는 요소로 작용하였다. 이러한 상황을 타개하려는 노력은 다른 어느 때 보다 정조대에 두드러졌다. 정조가 종묘 제향 시간을 단축하기 위해 시행한 다양한 개혁은 크게 두 가지로 구분할 수 있다. 첫째는 절차의 변경이었다. 제향의 여러 절차 중에서 神室의 증가에 영향을 받는 것은 進饌과 獻爵이었다. 이 두 절차는 의식을 맡은 薦俎官이나 獻官이 각 신실마다 빠짐없이 돌아가며 동일한 의식을 반복하는 것이기 때문에 시간이 오래 걸리고 지겹기도 한 일이었다. 이러한 시간을 줄이기 위해 보조자를 늘이고, 祭器를 변경하고, 집사자들의 동선을 줄였다. 진찬의 경우 牛牲, 羊牲, 豕牲의 삶은 고기를 한 번에 올리는 방식으로 바뀌고, 천조관이 신실을 이동할 때의 動線을 최소화하였다. 헌작에서도 준소와 제상 사이에 오고가는 시간을 줄여나갔으며 순조대에는 진찬과 마찬가지로 신실간 이동을 할 때 내부에서 곧바로 옮기도록 하였다. 한편, 시간을 단축하기 위한 두 번째 방법은 참여자에 대한 통제였다. 정조는 재관들로 하여금 趨蹌의 예법을 강조하고, 축문을 읽는 대축을 차정하는 데에 연로하여 시력이 나쁜 사람을 배제하였다. 그리고 제향의 진행에 중요한 역할을 수행하는 守僕에 대한 지속적인 교육을 통해서 제향이 예법에 어긋나지 않으면서도 빠르게 진행될 수 있도록 하였다. 이러한 제반 사항의 변화는 제향에서 긴장감을 늦추지 않고 공경을 유지하기 위한 ‘공경의 테크닉’이었다. 그리고 이러한 테크닉은 통해 의례의 효과를 높이는 것은 선왕을 높이는 것일 뿐만 아니라 주제자인 국왕과 왕실의 권위를 높이는 것이었다.

        Tension, pneumocephalus is rare complication in neurosurgical operation, But it should be treated promptly because of sudden neurological deterioration. Computed tomography permitted rapid diagnosis including localization of the air, thus facilitating prompt tratment. A case of subdural tension pneumocephalus after cranial operation under the impression of bifrontal subdural hygroma is presented.

      • 드릴링 라이저 작업 성능 평가 방법

        The procedure for drilling riser operability assessment is presented. The configuration of drilling riser system and its design specifications in API standard are described. For the operability assessment, static and dynamic analysis is performed to obtain riser behavior and responses using the numerical calculation S/W. A typical drilling riser operating in GOM is considered and the analysis is carried out with respect to combinations of pretension and rig offset. The maximum stress and mean/max inclination angles of riser system are rigorously calculated from simulations and its ratios to allowed values are plotted. The drilling riser operability is presented in a form of diagram showing the area of operable condition.

      • Simulation and Experimental Study of A TLP Type Floating Wind Turbine with Spoke Platform

        As the demand for renewable energy has increased following the worldwide agreement to act against global climate change and disaster, large-scale floating offshore wind systems have become a more viable solution. However, the cost of the whole system is still too high for practical realization. To make the cost of a floating wind system be more economical, a new concept of tension leg platform (TLP) type ocean floating wind system has been developed. To verify the performance of a 5-MW TLP type ocean floating wind power system designed by the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, the FAST simulation developed by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory is used. Further, 1/50 scale model tests have been carried out in the ocean engineering tank of the Research Institute of Medium and Small Shipbuilding, Korea. This paper compares the simulation and ocean engineering tank test results on motion prediction and tension assessment of the TLP anchor.
